Day 6: Midnight

There's a bit of a story with this one.

There once was a young mermaid, who wished for youth and beauty above all else. Even her love, who assured her he would love her even as she grew old, couldn't stop her from making a deal with a witch. She wished for scales as luminous as the stars, and fins that glistened like the auroras above.

Not knowing what it would cost her.

Yes, the witch gave her what she wished for, but she was cursed.

Cursed to wander the galaxies for eternity. Cursed to swim amongst the endless seas that she wished herself to match.

"But what of my love?" She pleaded, already too late to go back. The witch, with a wicked smile, gave her two compasses. One, that always pointed towards her love, and one that always pointed away. Though lost in the countless galaxies she was, the compasses may well have been blank.

What was worse than that, was she knew she would remain long after her love had withered away.

She came from a long forgotten temple of a goddess, unsure of who she was. Her window was broken and pieces scattered. She found a mysterious figure who seemed to know more than he let on. He agreed to help repair the window, the woman hopeful that it would help her remember where she came from and why she looks so different from everyone else she sees in this strange world.

Anyways, this was fun! I don't often draw in this sort of angled style, and it was more fun than I expected!

Design a character who came from the elemental plane of stained glass.

This helped me out of a general creative block. Grumpy old mushroom ninja that protects princess he sees as his daughter because her dad is a dick? Yes please. Based this guy on a stinkhorn mushroom.

Inktober Day 11: Light

So I skipped ahead (because I can and probably won’t have time to do this on the actual day because college is  s w a m p i n g  me) and drew my fav angel boi Azrael. The prompt I used was from @imagine-darksiders. You should check their stuff out, it’s super good!

Day One: Survivor

Just a quick little thing for Inktober! 

I’m using @cyberpinkd2 ‘s prompts for drawn by daylight. Granted it was for 2021, but I’m still gonna use them (if i can remember to and have time)!

I main Jeff and am so sad that there isn’t that much content for him. I mean, you cannot tell me this man doesn’t give great hugs. Like that would fix so much shit in my life getting a hug from this man.

Is this a valid excuse for me not finishing the last... ten days of the inktober I was doing? Sorry to anyone who wanted to see the rest of that... It’s prolly not happening.

Day 21: Not Human

Dark Green is tired of doing all the work. Blue is... amused at their audacity. 

I also tried a little bit of a different style and process with this one. I’m pretty pleased with the results, but may or may not use it in future ones because it took so ungodly long to finish this one.
