I don’t think it’s a coincidence at all that Jackie’s death scene is intercut with the scene of Natalie’s suicide attempt in the adult timeline. All of Jackie’s actions before, during, and after Doomcoming were clear signs of passive suicidal ideation. Her decision to sleep outside in the cold after her fight with Shauna wasn’t just an impulsive reaction to being ostracized, it was Jackie losing her will to live. She didn’t fight to survive, didn’t beg to be let back in. She lay down in the cold and let it take her. And decades later, Natalie reached a similar breaking point in her motel room. The show is drawing a direct parallel between the two, highlighting how both characters, at different points in time, quietly surrendered to exhaustion.

By intercutting these scenes, the show collapses the 25 years between them, weaving Jackie and Natalie’s lives into one continuous thread of grief, profound loneliness, and a desperate need for connection that is never fulfilled.

What I think about my beautiful princess? Apart from being ABSOLUTELY in love with her, I think that she’s one of the nicest, prettiest and most talented people EVER. She’s not only such a good actress but ALSO a singer⁉️

And I can’t believe some people still think that she is where she is now just because she is a nepobaby (…that actually might’ve helped her, but yall can’t deny she’s actually really talented)
