I'm making drawn altars. It's a cheaper option for those who can't afford a full altar and it will have many different herbs and plants and gemstones and candles of various colors. I'm having fun drawing the items but it's slow going.

I think I may also draw tarot cards or something similar...

Basically, You'll have the base but under a piece of plastic with vinyl stickers that you can move around on your altar.

Who's Hestia?

First and Last but very discreet, she's the first born of Kronos and Rhea, older sister of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera and Demeter. She is a Cronid, one of the major gods.

Hestia is the goddess of the Hearth, Sacred Fire, Family, Hospitality and Domestic Life. Virginity and Purity is also attributed to her cause like Artemis and Athena, she is a virgin goddess. Plato also associates her with Order, Stability and Peace, protector of the cities, cause her sacred fire was in the Public Hearth, the prytaneum.

Her attributes are hearth, veil, fire/sacred fire, torch, donkey, pig, and bird.

Here are a few things that match her:

Colors: gold, white, orange, red, yellow, brown, lavender and beige

Plants: lavender, verbena, cinnamon, aromatic plants in general, peony, yarrow, white flowers
