Great valleys and ridges.

What’s most important is

How quickly we build bridges!

Between our friends and foes.

We are our own worst

Enemy after all.

Is extremely healthy.

Winning maybe everything but,

Losing - the highest formality.

One from which we grow

In hope we may mature.

For in which we don’t,

Continue to remain demure...

Our brain is an elaborate entity,

Which we may never fathom.

Need to harness it’s full potential

As it’s our most valuable weapon!

The only weapon in which

We should use to fight,

Our own indifferent convictions

And racial hatred plight.

Physical and mental energy

Displaying only moments of inertia.

Totally attuned to the body’s mechanics,

Revealing no signs of hypochondria.

Is it confidence, self belief,

Faith or pure optimism.

One can sure attest succession

Attributes to dealing with pessimism.

We may know our strengths,

But must acknowledge our weaknesses.

Then slander will not confine

Our mind’s own infinite resources.

What urges us to act the way we do,

Compelling us to move in fashionable or antiquated ways?

What drives our every direction,

Causing our motivation to hinder or sway?

Do we ever stop to wonder why

We become moved and uplifted?

Swinging between empathy and apathy,

Emotions strongly felt then shifted...

What’s the driving force behind

Our every action and reaction??

Is it effortless, or involve

Lots of vigorous exertion?

The thrill of the chase

to score,

to be skunked,

you do not care.

As you pass

through the storm,

static electricity pulses

through your veins.

Alive anxiously awaiting

every moment

on the edge of

your seat,

like a kid

before christmas.

When the wrapping

comes off,

it can be

fluid lucidity.

Mesmerising to the eye,

flowing endorphins

into your brain.

Or, dark dull

unsettled madness

dousing you 

in dopamine.

Through the flickering

of chaos,

you felt like

lightning hitting

the ground with

such force

striking bushfires.

Your skin becomes

extremely hot,

alive and restless.

You are Hiroshima

ready to detonate

at any minute...

Press the button,

lift off.

Gravitational forces

of life

left behind.

The feeling of

being in space,

frictionless

and free.

Careless to how

the waves will be.

As you’ll surf

regardless and

leave all your

worries ashore.

Buried within

a fortress in

the ground

for now.

I feel we as surfers on a perpetual quest for that perfect wave, can find inner peace in the ocean no matter how rough or turbulent life can be on land. We as spirits or souls aimlessly wandering through this mysterious journey of life, experience a constant sea of changing or wavering emotions in reaction towards our surrounding environments and stimuli. It is through this blog that I wish to express my artistic personification in response to external influences and fluctuating trains of thought.
