It is absolutely wild to me that I will be graduating this December.

I have put so many years, so much time, so much energy into school and then all of a sudden it will stop. No more classes, no more homework, just life and work and hobbies. I am definitely a lifelong learner, but I know I'll miss the structure that school has provided for me all these years. I will make the most of this last month in school, and make the most of my time afterward as well. I will never stop learning and growing, but how I do that is going to look different. Here's to moving forward in life.

Hi! You're the best studyblr I follow, and I need you to settle an argument! Is ten thousand words too long for a second year reading? we're studying history, its the longest reading any of us has ever had. i think its wayyyy too long, but not everyone agrees. what do you think?

Hi! In my opinion it's not too long, since 10,000 words is around 20-40 pages depending on if it's double or single-spaced. I've definitely had reading assignments a lot longer than that, but I think it also depends a lot on the amount of time you have to complete it, density of the content, etc. Good luck on your readings!

Ever since I did my post on bullet journal weekly spreads ideas I had this thought in the back of my head, that I shoud try the rolling weekly method again. So here we are, this is how it's looking at the biginning of the week, I can't wait to see how it will look at the end of it. Also check out my new brain dump journal, I adore the colours on the print. Anyway today my period has been killing me so I wasn't as productive as I wished, still I:

Read for a good half an hour as the first thing in the morning

Read and annotated some additional material for my prehistory and protohistory class

Started watching and annotating a lesson of that class

Now I might read a bit more if I manage to stay focused, if I really can't I might watch an episode of some show (I am currently watching both Being Human amd rewatching Gravity Falls).

Yesterday I finished Psychic Witch by Mat Auryn, and since my copy of The Book Of Lost Things got finally here I decided to pick it up before going to sleep. Now I am fighting to not read it all in one sitting. I am just six chapters in but I am adoring it. Anyway, today I struggled a bit to stay focused but I still managed to get stuff done. Today I:

Read for a little less than an hour as the first thing in the morning

Finished watching and annotating a lesson of my prehistory and protohistory class

Read and annotated the additional material for that lesson

Continued working on my puzzle while listening to the audiobook of a couple stories from the Necronomicon by H.P. Lovecraft

Now I plan on writing a review on the book I finished yesterday, and then either read a bit more or working on my puzzle again.

So, remember my last post where I said I cannot wait for the new season to enter our lives? Well, fall didn’t knock on our doors rather kicked it on us LOL it was raining like crazy all day today🌧

Also…I forgot to mention it yesterday but my dad got me a few books for my Roman Law course and let me tell you, they’re quite the heavy read. I’m kinda intimidated by them but we’ll get through them <3

15.10.21// had a really good writing day! i’ve added 2k words to the results section of my dissertation and taught two classes as well :D it feels really autumny in the morning, so i just wake up a bit later to work and listen to some halloween ambient videos! also, my most recent conference paper finally starts making sense!!! wooo!!!!
