AHHH I'm so excited to be sharing this PMV with you all! As you all probably know I've been rotting over my Dark DOFP AU for a long time but this has got to be one of the best projects I've made for it! It's been two months in the works, delayed by study, but finally finished and ready for you all to see! ✨

As soon as I heard this song I just knew it would be perfect for these guys! I wanted to lean into the bittersweet nature of their dynamic and how they had to let go of all the time and memories they had shared together in the hopes of saving the world from a dark fate. Thankfully they find each other again in the new timeline too 😭

Pietro blinked again, the name not quite anchoring. “Wanda…” he repeated, faint. “I know that name.” Erik’s heart cracked a little further. “You do,” he said, placing the glass beside the bed. “You always have.” Pietro looked at him then, really looked. His eyes searched Erik’s face, narrowing faintly. Not with recognition, but with the primal, distant wariness of someone who knows they’ve seen fire but can’t yet place the burn.

Just looking at him felt like a hand had reached into his chest and was squeezing his heart. He couldn't be. It wasn't possible. It was the way he moved, the way he shifted with nervous energy that was reminiscent of someone else. His damn hair felt familiar. All felt like... No, it was impossible. It was wishful thinking, it was impossible. But something deep within him yearned to know, a burning curiosity that he couldn't push away. It only makes him wonder if he’s growing into a face melded by his father’s genes. Peter’s started to spend hours staring at everyone else, trying to draw connections between them and someone else. How do you even tell if two people have the same nose? But then he sees his neighbors kids, who despite being blonde and with brown eyes, look exactly like their dad in a million ways Peter can’t even parse out. So fucking annoying. Why couldn’t that dickhead have stuck around so Peter could see what he was getting into? Why couldn’t he have stuck around so that Peter’s mom didn’t have to deal with them by herself?

Welcome everyone to the second House of Dadneto event! We are so very excited to see what you've all been working on these past months, and if this is the first you've heard of the event- no worries! You have the entirety of June to jump in on the fun! Make sure to check the Prompt Lists and Event Info for more details!

Hello and welcome to the House of Dadneto 2025!

Another year, another House of Dadneto event! It was an absolute pleasure seeing all the amazing works that were created last year, and we hope that you'll join us again to celebrate our favourite Dysfunctional Dad!

The House of Dadneto is a month-long fan creation challenge with a focus on Magneto and his (many) children! The event runs throughout the entirely of June 2025, and includes 15 main prompts and 15 alternate prompts. You can check out the whole list of prompts here!

All fanwork mediums are welcome (fics, art, animations, edits etc.) and you can complete as many or as few prompts as you would like, though there are prizes for those who complete either 15 or 30 prompts by the end of the month! Check out the rules here for information on how to participate, how to qualify for prizes, and any other questions you might have!

Birthday WIP Snippet!

Wanted to share a little something of the Dark DOFP AU fic I've been writing over the past weeks as a sort of reverse present for my birthday! Enjoy! (And please forgive any errors it's not proofread yet 😭)

Most times they would have to flee mid battle as waves upon waves of sentinels rained down upon them, but on one rare occasion, Erik bested a lone sentinel that had accidentally stumbled into their camp. By the time the monstrosity collapsed into the dirt, Pietro reappeared in a flurry of wind ready to take his father away, before blinking in surprise at the defeated corpse at their feet. “Aw, didn’t leave any for me?” Pietro teased, kicking the side of its arm with his boot. “There will be plenty more on the way if you are feeling so inclined,” Erik replied. “I’ll take a rain check on that,” Pietro smirked, moving to grab his father’s arm and neck like he had done so many times before. Erik had never paid much mind to the emptiness in his skin during their past escapes, too flooded with adrenaline and anger to consider anything else. But now, clear of distractions, Erik was painfully aware of the hollow sensation retreating the moment Pietro’s hands made contact. To feel the absence soothed after so many months drove Erik into shock, his senses overwhelmed by the warmth of his son’s hands. The careful way he held his father’s neck. The unwavering grip on his arm, keeping him close. Just like the day they first met, Erik was flooded with hope and freedom and safety. And he never wanted to let it go.
