there are scars and marks all over my tossed around body. dirty deep scars and blood stained marks which no matter how hardly rubbed stay there. invisible. but still very much there, and felt. they show themselves when someone gets too close. they show themselves when someone touches them and then, they burn, longing to be touched more, to be caressed. and then when left alone they multiply. reminding me of my loneliness and abandonment. i haven't let anyone get too close ever since.

there's something so calming about online friends, or people whom you talk to who have no idea what you look like. you just share a common interest and next thing you know you're asking them how their test went and they ask you about your day and you tell them you skipped half of it. it's so pleasing to know that this person will never judge you because you might never meet them. at the end of the day they'll be there for you, no matter how you spin your tale. i love that
