Back on my Skybound bullshit, y'all ever think about the fact that Nadakhan could've easily just. Hit Jay with the sword and been done with him? Like that's a thing he could've done. Hit the kid, gain the power, boom, got him out of the way. But he didn't. He didn't take the easy way out because in reality, it's not about just getting rid of him. No, Nadakhan is a sadistic little freak, and he wanted to BREAK him. He wanted the satisfaction of pushing a teenager to his absolute limit and forcing him to wish it all away, to the point that he was willing to actively work against his own goals in order to accomplish that.

Imagine Jay realizing this at some point after Skybound. Realizing that Nadakhan could've gotten rid of him at any time, but chose not to because torturing and tormenting him was more important than actually getting him out of the way. Like holy shit, that pirate is one sick motherfucker.

Something I like in In Stars and Time that isn't that big of a deal but just a thing that I enjoyed, is that the Universe is some kind of deity and yet, it still manages to retain that sense of abstractness. It has no physical form; it remains this metaphysical thing, the world that the characters exist in and everything beyond that too. It's still something nearly impossible to describe. I dunno, I just like concept of the universe, in all it's vastness and mystery, as something that people revered and spoke to and asked for things from. A religion or a belief based not necessarily around a god figure but rather, around the world itself and everything beyond it too. There's no deity, not like The Change God; the Universe as a concept is it's own point of reverie.

Hello! I’ve been absolutely in love with your raider!Joel series for so long and I still think about and reread it all the time!!

Something I wanted to ask but wasn’t sure if it’s too big a question, is how you might imagine a future for Joel and sweet pea? Like, if your version of Joel is canon, we know he eventually leaves the raider lifestyle and ends up in the QZ etc etc. Do you think he and sweet pea would stick together through all that? If so, how do you imagine their lives together unfolding?

I’d just be super interested in what you think really, hypothetically speaking ofc!! Personally I know they adore one another, but their dynamic is certainly not one that fits the more ‘normal’ life that Joel goes on to lead, so I have no idea how that would go lol.

I love it when Amane acts mean and annoying on Purpose. That scene with Es in the T1 VD where she thanks them for their "praise" after Es calls them annoying is great. That moment in the timeline where she says Fuuta makes "really funny jokes" to point out how short he is, is fantastic.

It leads into some thoughts about Amane I've had for a while though. T1 Amane is Testing everyone. She's trying to see how far she can go and how much she can say without people punishing her, and Amane really likes talking around things.

For example, she tells us in the T1 VD that she did her crime out of hatred but she doesn't state it Directly.

Amane: Furthermore, isn’t it condescending of you to assume that just because I happen to be a child, I am incapable of hating someone enough to kill them?

She's presenting it as a hypothetical. Not telling us that she Did kill someone out of hatred only that she has the capability to.

We know she did now but my point is that Amane talks around certain things. If she states them out loud then there's no way to deny them but if she just...walks around it a bit it'll take people a bit to realize what she means, or really understand it, or just straight up not think about it further.

It's only Real if she says it is and as long as she Doesn't it's all in the air. Enough room to deny it if things go south.

By T2 though due to the guilty verdict we've practically told her that if she acts like that she will be threatened with punishment. So she stops.

I've been getting into the game "Slay the Princess" as of recently. And I think it is criminally underrated as a horror game.

Which is why I think it deserves the good ole' 2018 fandom treatment. Where's the AUs? I wanna see someone make one of those swap AUs for this game where the player character is the one chained in the basement and the Princess has to slay them. And I think this concept can work pretty well in an au. Cuz like- for every chapter 2 princess, there is a new voice. I think those voices should be personified and turned into the chapter 2 chained MC and vice versa for the princess and whatever.

If this already exists then PLEASE someone tag me in it. But I generally have not found enough Slay the Princess fan content and I am telling y'all to get on that ASAP. I am too autistic to wait for more I need substance.
