- so ive lived in a shit ton of differant houses. most of them falling apart or milatary housing. we get lots of bugs in our house. im deathly terrified of bugs. hate them. they bring diesese and rot and illness. now one day in 8th grade i have to go take out the trash, and throw some cardboard boxes in the garage. so i open the garage, and there are just these black dots flying everywhere. so i throw the cardboard and run. a week later i find fruit flies in the freezer. dead fruit flies. soon we find them in our food. in our vents. no where was safe. they were in my dreams. one night i was puking and sick, i found a dead fly in the vomit. that infestation was the only time there were bugs in our house that werent dead. i still have nightmares.

- i qas never a good swimmer. but my grandmother loved taking me to the pool and my uncle had one. so i went swimming alot. ive nearly drowned nine times. im pretty sure the vast and buried want me dead and gone.

- in sixth grade i wouldnt be able to sleep because i would see a 9 foot tall woman in a gown looming over the foot of my bed

- in elementry school up until 4th grade i would bike to school every day. most of the time it was pitch black in the morning, even though i would leave at 7. multiple times people would try to get me into an alleyway woth them or id see extremely tall people watching me behind electrical poles. i didnt think anything of it at the tome, or when i saw person in my closet.

- i would pick at my skin alot as a kid and i got multiple infections that way. i named them. i have a scar on my arm from harold.

- i would play with spiders and theyre corpses, i would put live spiders in my hair amd carry them around there as a kid.

- my mom thinks imike a chamgeling or something

- my mother used to tell me she thinks im gonna be a serial killer one day

- i woke up one day to find my bedroom door open at 4 am. ny dog was staring into the kitchen from my bed (you can see into the kitchen from my room). i heard drawers ope ing and shutting. i only got a glimpse of what was causing those noises but it was way too tall and had way too many arms to be human. i didnt sleep for the rest of the night

- my mother conviced me im always one step away from fucking losing it. she thought i was schizophrenic, and has tried (and failed) to gaslight me on multiple occasions

- ive seen myltiple ghosts, and nearly died like alot of times

- i would run through the woods pretending a giant monster was chasing me and trying to eat me. a few times ive heard sticks break and leaves crunch behind me while doing that

OLLYYYYYYY if there's anyone i can trust to be a wren farvo enjoyer ik it's you fr fr. funnily enough there actually used to be a wren-centric nurture chapter that like, explored exactly his lore lmao. the chapter involved themes I wasn't ready to write about however (like, I realised I wasn't the right person/didnt have enough experience with them) so I scrapped that chapter in the end. i can give you the lore aspects though! (cut off because, long as fuck)

basically though the rundown was that; wren was adopted by his buir at a young age, after the Purge (young enough that he doesn't remember his previous life, not that he particularly cares to look). also, Wren doesn't remember this, but he was actually adopted first before Samirah (Samirah was older, and thus ended being the older sister anyway) (Samirah also doesn't bother reminding Wren about this, if only to avoid his gloating)

the two only had the one parent, the sole survivor of the Farvo clan after the Purge. It, obviously, left their parent in...a state. i never went around to properly naming their parent, since in the chapter Wren only ever called them 'Buir'. then again given the fact that they were living with a covert back then, the atriarch of clan Farvo probably didn't give their name out anyway.

oh yeah okay so; in the nature/nurture verse, after the Purge, Din's covert wasn't the only covert out there. survivors splintered off into many, many small coverts, most of them isolated from one another and thinking they were the only ones. at most, one covert would be aware of one other covert that survived (and usually, to the best of their ability, try to merge coverts to reassemble their numbers). each covert had a different approach to making through the galaxy, particularly Wren's covert not instilling the 'dont take your helmet off' rule

the themes that i mentioned the chapter having was basically; what it'd be like, growing up as a child of a dead people, and what it'd be like when your parent is a survivor of a genocide. how that'd affect them, and affect you and your family, and how hard it'd be to connect to a culture and a community that was ripped brutally out of your hands before you could even speak. wren farvo, essentially, grew up in a graveyard, with his parent haunted by the ghosts of a family he never got to meet, mourning for a home he never got to see. that Wren was essentially a genocide survivor himself, and how he'd struggle to come to terms with his identity as a Mandalorian when it seems the entire galaxy wants him dead

then I started writing the chapter, realised how similar it was to the very real Palestinian genocide going on right now, and proper realised the depth and weight and importance of how I was going to convey this story. i tried my best for a couple passages, but eventually though i realised that, as of now, it's better if I just...don't. not yet, at the very least. regrettably Im not the best person to write about this, i just don't know enough, and i wasn't going to take a bite out of something i couldn't chew so, whoops! into the deleted scenes doc they go. maybe one day I'll pick it up again

back to Wren Farvo lore however !! his parent passed in the way many mandalorians pass during those times, having caught off guard and alone by a group of one too many beskar-hungry thieves. it was a pretty dark and awful time for the Farvo clan, but they thankfully had the rest of the covert to keep them going. Samirah became matriarch of the Farvos, and Wren became the lighthearted grounding force that balanced out her seriousness. they kept each other in check, one from sinking into the burdens of responsibility and duty, and the other from a recklessness that would eventually kill him. when Samirah adopted Jeliaya, it only brought them closer together, jeliaya basically being a promise for the clan's continued existence

as this is all happening, wren's covert had managed to meet with Din's old covert (Din himself not being around, still searching for the kid). together, and with Bo-Katan's crew after a while, they banded and started searching for more survivors. the heads of the coverts (+ bo) eventually realised how easily dwarf planets flew under nearly every radar. then they found the dwarf planet where they settled and struck peace with the locals. for about a decade they settled in, digging tunnels of their own and carving out spaces for themselves in the planet itself. Wren stayed close with his sister and his niece the entire time, having no reason to be anywhere else

but being able to live on that dwarf planet, though - being able to walk out in the sun in relative peace definitely did wonders for everyone's mental health. for the first time they had a planet again, however small. Samirah's work thrived, especially when she started communicating with the local doctors. Jeliaya grew healthy and at peace, her safety mostly assured. Wren did...Wren things, helping out everywhere he could

a lot of that involved him being part of the force that stood against the Dark Troopers; Wren was one of the first few that devised defensive plans, figured out their weaknesses, convincing the Armourer(s) that beskar weapons were, against this enemy, quite necessary since it's one of the few materials that can tear through the Dark Trooper's armour (which is why she never made Din melt down his spear in this 'verse. that, and also I'm a beskar-spear enjoyer at heart). one such mission brought him and his sister to this Imperial fort, where they met Din for the first time!!

meeting Din, Wren's first immediate thought is 'woah, this guy's fucked' and after learning that he's still looking for the kid he lost about 7-8 years ago, came up with the nickname "Or'trikar". for the grief that he exuded like a physical aura, and for the tightness of Wren's own chest whenever he so much as looked at him. Wren and Din grew closer, mostly due to Wren being...Wren and generally clingy to the people he's trying to impress. it works on Din, who ended up viewing Wren as a younger brother

Din definitely wouldn't think so, but to the Farvos it's obvious that for that time, Din was practically one of them. An honourary Farvo, if nothing else. he was practically Jeliaya's second uncle, and he came around to the Farvo residence pretty often, thanks to Wren refusing to let the guy stew in his own room and his own or'trikar

about two years pass, and Wren and Din get paired together to find the source of all those Dark Troopers, and to scout out how to cut the production off at its root. they find the biggest, freshest clue they've had in all their years and Wren, antsy and excited, decided to go on a solo hunt to burn off steam instead of going home. Din pointed him in the direction of where he last left the Razor Crest, and Wren found it (neglected, dusty, but still usable; something something, nothing grand, just a means to an end) and used it to fly around for a bit

unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you see it) the tracker that Gideon put on that ship was still there, and still active. Wren ends up being captured and thrown into an Imperial prison, where he meets this strange kid through the vents who insists on calling himself Asset

and then the rest is history

I know I'm new in LotF fandom (or at least I'm new on interacting here) but I've been watching it for enough time already to notice some patterns that have bothered me. And I'm not gonna lie, I made this blog mostly to question some of these patterns like a good old beast should do.

First thing I'd like to ask is.... why do you guys like to prone others creativity every time it didnt reach to your own ideals?

I've lost the count of how many posts I've seem here that intents only to call out someone who likes a certain ship trope, or want to share their hcs, or just use a word to describe a character that you dont agree with. I've seem posts where a list of names and blogs were pointed and called out publicly when nobody even tried to reach those person and talk to them in private first to understand their point of view (yeah lets say i know some of those names). I've seem posts with screenshots of others blogs being accused of things with no proof or just because "they blocked me for no reason". Guys if I dont like what you post I'm going to block you at the first glance and I hope you do the same to me if you don't like what I have here instead of exposing my blog and making some public hate post just because you cant deal with a different opinion or interests than yours!

Said that and do not wanting to make this too long... I want to say I understand that many of you are just trying to make this fandom a safe place for everyone and all. But there is a big difference on those two things happening here. Discussing and exploring characters sexuality in hcs OR writing smut pwp of same characters OR condone with bad things irl ARE NOT THE SAME. If you cant handle the first two in your fictions you can pretty well block the blog and follow with your life. If you identify an IRL abuser you can call the police. Other than that you're just being an asshole and proning others creativity and pretty much causing more harm than avoiding it.

But how I'm causing harm if I'm protecting everyone from those bad things? You may ask and I'll take myself as an exemple here. I grew up on an environment that proned my sexuality a lot making me thing that any interest in this topic was ugly and wrong. I grew up believing I was a bad person and that there was something wrong with me, but as a good rebel I was it only worked to have me only doing it in secret. Today I look back at my teen years and see how things could have went very bad to me and I WAS LUCKY AS FUCK IT DIDNT! Just because I was said to not do it or that but nobody get to actually talk to me and try to understand me. But now I see how this can be dangerous to someone development and self acceptance.

So the only thing I ask is, if someone say something you dont agree with, why instead of making a hate post cant you just message that blog and talk to them? Try to understand their point of view and reasons, try to show why you think it isnt good. And if it still dont work for you, so just block them and get back to your life. Nobody need to be called out or prone in a place where they come to have fun with people that like the same book they do. Fandom should be about acceptance and not to judge one another.

i don't know, am i taking some of the joy of exploration out of the depths by looking at this map early? i guess so, but i don't want to forge on without it, and the internet has spoiled me for the whole thing anyway. besides, they're not detailed enough that you can really tell what it'll look like once you get there. i think some surprises will still remain

zonaite really isnt hard to collect...like, at first having to get 4000+ to max your battery seemed impossible. but the hard part is that the refineries don't sell a lot at once so you either have to warp around or wait to turn it all in lol

i like how weather attack makes food useful again? like i stopped making food to help me with heat or cold bc i had armor...BUT i can't have armor to defend me from the elements AND the attack up from the elements at the same time. if i want both, i need food for one or the other! it's very clever. now i need to be more mindful when cooking instead of just doing the same health and stamina refills over and over

Now pair that with tinwe not yet having returned to Aman, but Celebrimbor, ecthelion and Erestor did.

Celebrimbor doesnt speak of his torture. It's a tender topic and hes in need of a whole lot of healing before he can openly speak of it. His num helps, obv, but he doesnt want her to hurt any more.

Those who died in eregion havent returned yet, so they cant attest to tinwe being there. Those who were in Imladris have no reason to speak of ranyatinwe. Celebrimbor doesnt Ecthelion and Erestor dont bother (why would they? Its nobody's business and tinwe herself wouldnt speak of the torture, so why should they?)

But then Ecthelion is like "oh, yeah, Ranyatinwe is really touchy about her torture as well" when someone mentions Celebrimbor not opening up about it when they want to help.

If you recall in chapter 11 part 4, Heeseung made that phone call, but i didnt elaborate who he called. he just said "Hey I can't explain, but i need you to do something for me.." and then remember in the car after jake picked him up from chasing the van on foot, heeseung kept getting those texts, that was vicky. those phone calls that he kept ignoring, was tiff. so alot of references to chapter 11 part 4 right there ;)

SPEAKING OF CHASING I CAME UP WITH THE NAME OF THE STORY!! it’s in the notion outline ss I posted which i’m sure you saw but at least for now i’m calling it pursuit which is a double meaning!! on the one hand reader is in pursuit of barou but pursuit is actually also an egg move of houndoom’s and i think reader’s houndoom will have it (not barou’s though he’ll have some other thematically appropriate egg move)!! there will be two main times she uses it: the first is in her first battle with nagi, when his growlithe gets scared and he just gives up and is about to return his growlithe when she tells houndour to use pursuit (pursuit does more damage if the opposing pokémon is about to be returned) so that growlithe stays in battle while she yells at nagi to grow up and actually be a trainer (this sets him up to be a rival as well as subtly hinting that he’ll be the love interest since the title is referenced in their first meeting) and the second is in the final confrontation against barou after she’s won against his houndoom; barou attempts to flee but reader orders her houndoom to use pursuit on him and since it’s a pokémon houndoom is able to drag him back and kill him with that move!! idk it just felt like a simple but v fitting title hehe…also i’ve started planning arcs out and i’m pretty sure this bad boy is going to be HEFTY (as in ten arcs planned and reader still only has four badges, has only just gotten her magikarp, and just learned what team x’s purpose even is) DJDJSJJS when i was writing ship in the harbor each arc was roughly 25-30k words but i don’t THINK they’ll be as long in this story?? however that should give you a general planned word count for the au and suffice to say: 😱

One: robbie is fucking hilarious. Hes 15 deeply deeply insecure and beefing with a Twelve yearold. Like you won. You got wendy to say yes to a date theres negative reason to challenge a child to a fight. Hilarious cant wait for him to lay awake at night and cringe at that memory. especially bc dipper giving her a black eye was his wingmanning! Does watching Mabel and Dipper interact happily make him miss other stan? also how do other family members feel about this diapearance? Clearly bad since they never told dipper and mabel. But them being the grunkles implies they have at least on more sibling. Howd they feel about the disappearance?

I cant wait to get more details on those two. i feel like their relationship has to be all levels of fucked for him to never mention having a twin. Like no matter how mad i was with my bros id fucken mention them at least once even by accident to their nibblings.

Three: i like how often mabels outfit changes i love her silly themed sweaters and fun earrings. The cross fingers gag on the back of her sweater after lying to her grunkle stan made me laugh. Four: dipper is equally relatable but in a way that makes me scream lol. His anxietys are so familiar to me hope he sees someone for that. And that book cannot be helping. The author was clearly paranoid and while dipper wrote that he trusts mabel i worry that he wont always.

these characters sounded interesting to me, plus the fact of vox and angels relationship, it was more or less shown in those random instagram (voxtagram) posts of vox and val together but val was abusing vox (broken screen and calling him names n shit iirc?), that was what interested me, they could've had a whole ass arc where angel and vox become friends or someshit and vox decides to get redeemed at the hotel and idfk betrays them and goes back to val and blah blah blah (im spitballing) it could've been interesting is what im saying bc the 3 characters are intertwined and connect the vee's to al, and charlie and it just sorta works but nah. they gave the show a whole plot about adam and then decided lute shouldn't be adams successor, ffs this is the same shit they did in helluva, cherubs got introduced, they seems like the opposites of IMP, you'd assume we'd have episodes revolving around these 2 companies with a side plot of romatic drama and angst but then they decided to not show them for a whole fucking season and in the midst of that add in 2 or 3 otehr new villians and then not shw them for too fucking long either and then randomly introduce them again but worse and then not even focus on the main story of them being assasins and instead focus on the "side" plot of romance and angst and yeah
