the duality of my Dr. Benzedrine is that he's incredibly effective and ruthless at what he does (saving lives, need not concern himself with the consequences as long as the subject/victim/patient is still alive by the medical definition of the term) and he's terribly smart and has a great sense of humor, but he's also a rather confused, genuinely brain-damaged individual. like. he's scary when he's in his element, but when he's not, he sometimes can barely string a full sentence together, has panic attacks over loud noises, etc

The way they jump to defend Laios’s microaggressions towards Shuro makes me think they are trying to excuse themselves of the weird shit they’ve done/said to people of color in their own lives.

yeah i've talked about this a bit but people are SHOCKINGLY unsympathetic to Shuro when if you actually read the manga you see he's basically literally Just A Guy and his biggest crimes are "falling in love with a woman who doesn't feel the same way" and "daring to get kind of bitchy upon learning (while running on several days of no sleep and food) that the woman he fell in love with was transmogrified into a sin against god"

I don't think we as a community wrote enough about demon ctommy. he was always my favorite it just gives him this evil vibe that I think is sooo funny and I always see it in ctommy art but never in literally any fic. and that's fine but imp or whatever-he-is-Tommy will always be real in my heart. in my head he used to be a bird hybrid, but when he died for what was supposed to be the final time they took his fucking wings and gave him cunty demon horns and tail.
