sometimes i'll think about how, at the start of episode four, pete offers to help porsche guess who he might have kissed at the pier the night before, and i imagine a crackfic where porsche goes on a quest to find out who it was by kissing his colleagues one by one - starting with pete of course that man was ready to sacrifice himself for the cause when porsche had questions about casual hookups later in the episode, offering himself up without hesitation
he visits them one by one; pol is confused... but intrigued, it's like one of tankhun's series! arm already knows it wasn't him but insists they check it anyway... just to be sure, right? you never know. ken says he'll break his face if he tries anything (very suspicious, porsche makes sure to highlight his name). big doesn't know whether to be angry or confused, he wasn't even there??? no he and ken didn't sneak in halfway through because of a secret crush, this isn't one of tankhun's series! tankhun asks what they're doing and if he can join but porsche isn't about to open that can of worms.
maybe at some point kinn catches on and realizes porsche doesn't remember but is rating the others based on if they kiss better or worse than the ~mystery person~, which is giving him an ego boost up until porsche declares that one of his friends is actually a better kisser and therefore can't possibly have been involved (said friend is very confused about why khun kinn is giving him death glares for the rest of the week)
you can even throw in some chan or vegas or anyone else if you want to, just go crazy with it, i think that'd be really funny especially if porsche just casually blasts vegas after they make out for a solid minute saying "no you're good but the other guy was just less desperate you feel me, sorry bro".

Conversation
Kinn: *Trying to fill out legal paperwork stuff* Were you guys born AMAB or AFAB?
Tankhun: Bold of you to assume I was born at all.
Vegas: I personally was created in a lab.
Porsche: I just straight up spawned lol.

You know something I’ve been curious about? We know that Kinn is comfortable with his sexuality before the season starts. We can assume that Porsche thought he was straight before meeting Kinn but probably felt attracted to men at some point, though he never had a relationship with anyone, man or woman.
Kim is difficult to pinpoint because he’s so furtive about everything, especially when it comes to feelings. Porchay is unabashedly obsessed with Kim, and at least from what we’ve seen, he’s comfortable with his attraction to men.
Vegas has made his sexuality pretty clear comparatively, but the person I’m wondering about in all of this is Pete. I read somewhere that in the book he had a girlfriend and was possibly homophobic (?), but I’m glad the show is making the conflict about the fact that it’s Vegas rather than that it’s a man (the same with KP). My question is if Pete always really knew he was attracted to men or if it’s only something he’s recognized recently; his conversations with Porsche about Kinn early in the season made me think he had never been involved with a man before, but that’s all just speculation.
I don’t think the show needs to detail any of this because it’s something that really can just be, but I’m curious.

Who shot Uncle Thee?
Tumblr media
Good question, but I don’t understand why so many people think it was Kinn (or maybe Pete as he’s accompanying him). Because in this case the answer is: No it wasn’t Kinn or Pete.
Why, you ask?
First of all, Vegas is first pointing his gun to the end of the alley, but immediately turns to the roof. Why would he do that if someone was at the end of the alley (especially 2 armed men that were running towards them)? No at the time no one was there. And also the shot looks like as if it came from above. The entry seems to be at Thee’s right shoulder, but the exit is either right above his heart or even hit his heart. No way that happens from a straight shot from behind.
Tumblr media
And only after  Vegas got back to Porsche and we saw Porsche’s memories (yeah I know flashback memories take more time to show in pictures then our brain actually needs). But still it would have been at least 10 seconds after Thee got shot before Kinn and Pete even showed up at the far end of the alley, I guess.
Tumblr media
Here’s what I think ... Vegas had to come up with the information about Thee’s whereabouts and the money. He could ofc have asked his father ... at least for the money. But I don’t think Gun would given it to Vegas without getting an explanation. So either he told his father what he needed the money for or let’s assume Vegas has money at his own disposal (not unlikely as the eldest son, I guess) and used that and had another way to get the desired information without going to his father in the first place. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Gun either found out about what Vegas is up to or is monitoring his son in general. Either way he send men after his son and as soon as he found out that they’re meeting with Thee he ordered to kill him. Because I’m pretty sure that Thee would’ve otherwise told Porsche that the one who shot his parents was Gun. Maybe I’m mistaken, but Gun being the killer makes the most sense to me.

Ok let's jump into it, i did promise to write an actuall post.
it got LONG so check it out under the cut: (how did it end up like this??)
First thing first, this episode was vegas' episode. No doubt about it, no debate, and bible just ate the whole thing for breakfast. I mean it okay? i was having so much fun watching him on screen, just, every scene he's in is golden.
Now that i've said it let's go into more detail.
i’ve said before in my ep 5 post that the vegas is tailoring his persona to porsche and we see that full forsce in this episode (it helps of course that they have much more screentime together).
In fact, the entire way the minor family operates is much, Much more suited to porsche’s nature - and i might just write out a whole saparate post about the minor family vs the main family, because the power dynamics are fucking facinating - but the point is that the informal and street thug-ish vibe the minor family has got going is much more suited to porsche than the high brow splendor of the main family
So vegas is back on his bullshit, aided by the fact that kinn is stuck in the hospital and the fact that he’s been given premission to have porsche on call until his task is done. and the dude is sure leaning into it. heavily. it’s not working as well as it did in ep 5 because porsche’s situation has changed - he’s not as isolated, he and kinn have resolved (some, maybe) of their issues and he’s in much less need of someone to lean on.
it’s an ineteresting contrast between kinn and vegas actually. kinn has authority on his side. his word is law, the only person that outranks him his his dad. when faced with someone like porsche who won’t yield to that authority, kinn first resorted to force and is slowly learning to lean into personal connection. porsche is much likelier to do what kinn wants him to do if kinn asks.
vegas has no authority, at least when it comes to the main family (and the whole point is comptetion so it’s Always a comparison) so he probabely learned that lesson much earlier. if he wants someone to do something, he has to make them want to do it.  being liked is a powerfull tool for someone like vegas, who has virtually no authority because of who he is. being straightforward isn’t an option so he manipulates instead.
so yeah vegas really shone in this episode, although i’m pretty sure nothing will ever top this hoe’s fucking smirk after he told porsche that kinn shot his ex. i honestly thought he was bullshitting completely, but according to next ep’s preview kinn’s ex IS assumed dead so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ who the fuck know. i’ve seen a bunch of theories but at this point this show is gonna make clowns out of us all.
next thing i wanna talk about is pete. petey. my best sunshine boy. you are officially on the freak scale. like we thought you were normal but the way you looked at vegas when all the other BGs were looking away and clutching their pearls? my boy was sporting a boner, i’m calling it now.
jokes aside, i’m really excited for this development. i’ll be straight (ha) with you here, i was not particulary invested in the vegaspete storyline from the get go. like i knew it was a thing in the novel, i knew it was supposed to be problematic, i was kinda dreading having to watch it go down.
then the show did such a good job with smoothing over the more fucked up aspects of kinn and porsche’s relationship in the first half and i figured they’d find a way to handle it that wouldn’t make me want to put my head through a window. (my guess was originally that they would scrap the romantic element of it entirely and just leave it as vegas the villain and pete the victim)
but this new aspect of pete’s character opens the door to some much more interesting options (my favorite amongst those is these two ending up in some real kinky s/m relationship), like actual relationship stuff. the main concern in this case is the whole consent problem and they’ve been doing such a good job handling it so far that i’m holding out real hope.
next i’d like to talk about korn’s scene. again papa korn is feeding kinn the compan line and again he’s doing it in a really ambigiuous way. like he keeps introducing kinn to important aspects of ruling the family (and essentially the crime world in general), but he never, ever actually tells kinn what he should do.i find it a super interesting detail to their dynamic because korn is still holding absolute power, but he’s deliberately Not wielding it against kinn.
korn Will turn kinn’s attetion to important details but he Won’t tell him how to act next and subsequently kinn get to make his own choices (even if they’re not the ones korn would have made). in ep 5, it was kinn who decided porsche’s punishment - he makes a mistake, that korn had to step in to help him fix by giving porsche the week off.
in this episode, kinn isn’t jumping through the hoops korn is presenting him with. korn tell’s him that his feeling are affecing his judgment, but kinn still goes to porsche in the minor family house, twice. it’s an important distinction and i think it’s also part of korn’s agenda. korn’s not going to live forever, kinn’s going to have to make his own choices one day without korn at his back.
Now onto the main event.
the scene of kinn and porsche on the balcony took me through the whole fucking range of human emotion, like what the fuck XD like first it’s romantic gift giving (”the gun and yourself” lukjfhgidjfksg) then it’s the lame ass dick jokes and then tenderness and touching foreheads and forehead kiss can you please let me live???
the scene where porsche checks on kinn in the hospital and kinn gets pissy about porsche being cosy with vegas was Gold ok? like the way porsche sprawls back against the couch with this huge ass grin on his face as soon as kinn gets pissed and immediately comences being a little shit about kinn’s jealousy? like kinn my man, your boy has never backed down from a challenge in his life, he is constantly and at a moments notice ready to throw hands XD nxndbdk
and now to that final scene, hang on to your butts folk this is gonna be paragraphes and  paragraphes of me ranting and raving about apo and his fucking acting ok? ok
the beginning of That scene porsche is being damn near carried into the bathroom by vegas. please allow me to point out just how casual vegas is about the whole thing, like this bitch is selling the drunken shananegens angle even while he’s taking porsche’s shirt off, like that’s what i call commitment to the role.
then he goes in for the kill and porsche is Not Into It. like it’s instant discomfort and he gets a hand between them to push vegas off immediately, but vegas is smart, vegas is smooth, he’s got porsches practically sitting on the counter and he puts himself between his legs as soon as he leans in, which means porsche has got zero leverage to push back against him (his legs are off the floor and there’s no wall at his back to push against).
He is also, note, not very agressive about pushing when porsche resists him, like he’s definitely leaning in but he’s not pushing hard enough that porsche resorts to actual violence. he’s not restraining his hands and he’s not grabbing him, it’s all very subtle. which leaves porsche to try and curl away from the unwanted advances instead of reacting with violence.
Tumblr media
i’m dying, i’m dying this is where it starts beacause, the way porsche curls in, trying to turn away even while vegas has him boxed in? uhg it’s killing me. and then kinn comes in and at first porsche is smiling, he’s relieved and then kinn turns to yell at him and his face falls, there confution and upset and also geunine alarm because he can’t understand why kinn is mad at him.
and then kinn slaps him, it’s not hard, it’s more of a pat, but there’s enough sting to it that it’s insulting and porsche flinches.
Tumblr media
and this is the first time we see fear from porsche in this scene. and apo did such a fucking marvelous job because there’s a definite difference between the expression on his face before that slap and after it, sort of a sinking realization of what kinn is thinking at this moment - what he’s accusing him of - and his mind immediately leaps to what vegas told him about kinn’s ex, to the consequences of kinn believing he’s been betrayed, even and maybe especially by someone he loves.
in ep 6, kinn said he didn’t know porsche could be afraid of something, but the truth is, porsche gets afraid - On Screen - a few time that we’ve seen. it’s just that porsche does not react to fear the way most people do. i’ve said it earlier didn’t i? no matter what kind, porsche Does Not back down from a fight. Ever.
after that little slap? porsche pushes kinn away - kinn is agressive so porsche is agressive back. it’s what’s been giving kinn so much trouble with porsche from the get go, kinn is used to people backing down from him, porsche has never done it. not once.
he pushes back. he gets angry that kinn is accusing him, isn’t trusting him,he throw’s kinn’s ex in his face and when kinn retaliates by calling him a whore he slaps him, hard. it doesn’t matter how much it hurts and how scared he is and who’s on the other side - porsche does not back down from a fight.
(when kinn said THAT? I was HOLLERING. I paused and i screamed and my god was that slap the least that he deserves, i can’t even with that fucking man - skfduhfa’lij)
when porsche tries to storm off and kinn grabs him he struggles. he’s angry and hurt, he’s feeling vulnerable emotionally and physically - he does not want kinn to touch him. even while kinn herds him against the mirror he turns sideways, creating space for himself, leaving himself room to move and gain leverage against the mirror if he needs it (he’s gearing up for a fight, it’s what he expects).
Tumblr media
and then he tries to turn the other way, he tries to push kinn’s arm off and head towards the exit and kinn closes the distance and pins him up agains the mirror.
and that’s like a fucking switch has been flicked right there.
Tumblr media
look how he fucking curls in ok? look. (apo why are you doing this to me?) he tuck his arms close, like he’s covering himself. his shoulders go up and his head goes down and he’s trying to make himself as small as he can and I bet he holds his breath too right at that moment. FUCK ME OK?
you just know that his mind went to the night he got drugged - pinned against a glass surface with kinn at his back ? - fuck it you KNOW that that’s what he’s thinking about.
it’s definitely where my mind went, the lighting? the position? I damn near flashbacked to that scene, you can bet your ass that porsche definitely did. and that’s that fear i was talking about, because porsche is afraid. (has got a damn good reason to be afraid because this has happened before)
and you know what? kinn thinks about it too. he does. he sees porsche curled up like this and he knows. he apologizes. he takes a step back. and even though he’s still boxing porsche in, he’s Not touching him anymore. he’s giving him space. he’s giving him choice.
in the end it’s porsche that turns around to face kinn, he let’s kinn touch him, let’s him kiss him and when porsche pushes kinn away he barely has to put any pressure behind it at all and i think it’s a lovely, lovely contrast to vegas earlier who wasn’t using force exactly, but definitely didn’t back away when porsche was trying to get him to.
you guys know what happens next and i won’t talk about it because i could barely stay sane watching it so i’ll just say this: HOT DAMN
p.s. porchay was the absolute cutest this episode and kim going snooping and finding his wik shrine was actual comedy gold.
also where was my boy tankhun? where was he? GIVE HIM TO ME

The nerve of Kinn to call Porsche "loose" when he brings guys home whenever he feels like it.
Hey, there's no judgement here for Kinn doing whatever he wants to do when he was not in a relationship. Kinn paying for sex workers is perfectly fine and not a judgement on his character.
The problem with him calling Porsche loose wasn't based on him having lots of sex, it's based on him assuming that Porsche would cheat. Porsche was literally fighting Vegas off when Kinn entered and Kinn still assumed that Porsche was cheating on him.
Kinn and Porsche cannot be judged for their choices before they got together. The issue is that Kinn jumped straight to cheating rather than asking or waiting for even hesitating just that long enough moment for Porsche to say something.
It's important to remember that this is specifically about Kinn accusing Porsche of cheating on him with Vegas. That's why Porsche lashes out and tries to leave and curls up to protect himself. Kinn has already assaulted him once and now he's just tried to fight off another assault, thought Kinn had come to save him... only to be accused on cheating with the man trying to assault him.
Porsche accepts Kinn's apology but this is still going to be there. It's going to be in the back of his mind because it's more proof that Kinn doesn't trust him, Kinn doesn't believe in him, Kinn will always assume the worst.
It was so painful to watch because of that assumption and that has absolutely nothing to do with his habit of hiring sex workers when he's single.
(no book spoilers)

theres outcomes that could occur today that im thinking about while having a v lazy morning sat on my laptop in bed. they could be spoilers or just me rambling so if u dont wanna see regardless dont click my loves and have a lovely gay kinnporsche day
soooo Porsche either says yes or no to vegas, this is something that has to happen
Pete goes to investigate Vegas further, as a way to prove his trust in Porsche, this is something that has to happen
so looking at those, its highly likely that Porsche says yes.
that leaves Kinn most likely frustrated, and easily agreeing to Pete doing the investigating thing.
also, it is known that at some point vegas kidnaps Pete, thats not exactly a spoiler. and this is more than likely going to happen while Pete is doing his investigation
MY thoughts ere are that he probably wouldnt kidnap Pete while Porsche is staying with him, its just too likely that Porsche will run into Pete and all the supposed trust he had in vegas to begin with will totally leave
soooo this means that Porsche will probably leave the minor family household before Pete even gets there?? so maybe he uses Vegas as a means of escape, hangs out there briefly and then finds a way to leave again
I feel like he wont stay long, him assuming Kinn came to his cell to apologise says it all. he still trusts him, hes expecting him to have some kind of second plan. I totally get that, and I think its entirely likely, sure Kinn has trust issues and has been let down, but realistically if Tawan (a guy he has shitty trust in to begin with) finds all that spying stuff in his room and proves it to be Porsche's, what does that prove exactly? they already have CCTV installed in the room that seemingly everyone on the detail has access too, i mean fucksake Porsche is the bodyguard stationed outside of his room.
Kinn must know that Porsche was spying on Tawan for reasons relating to his devotion to Kinn, as well as Porsche following them both when they left to get the evidence.
so when Porsche leaves, does he go straight back to the major family house?? or does he run back via his own house to check on his brother?
Ive only heard whispers of this so idk if its true bc i havent and will not read the novel but Tawan kidnapping Chay?? if that occurs, then its vvv likely Porsche goes back via his own house, if not stopping to stay then at least looking through the window to check he is still there and living his life
theres a chance Kim could be there when this occurs, or that Chay is just vibing playing guitar like he usually does. REGARDLESS, Tawan could see this somehow i feel (if the fact he kidnaps Chay is real and not like a fever dream I had and have convinced myself someone said). Tawan is tracking Porsche now, he escaped and cant exactly go straight back to Kinn, so it is entirely in Tawan's interest to see where else Porsche goes.
Hes a crazy motherfucker, so he sees Porsche caring about someone other than Kinn and uses this as his opportunity to have something hanging over his head??
IDK im theorising and idek if that actaully occurs, but if we're thinking about Tawan and what he really wants, its probably the position next to Kinn with as much information and power as he can get his hands on. This would be when he would use Porsche, blackmail him using his brother to get what he wants
ive run out of thoughts for now but ill come back to this later after another coffee.

KinnPorsche Ep.9 - spoilers -
Episode 7 is still my favourite but episode 9 comes in a strong second.
The balance between comedy and drama was excellent, I wish they'd do more straight up sinister comedy. Closest we got was Macau sleeping (innocently) through the sermon all while his brother is intimidating Pete and talking about peace of mind.
The actors did an excellent job all around, extremely impressed by all of them.
PeteVegas
Curious as to what the wound on Pete's wrist is. Did he have a run in with Vegas we didn't see which lead to him being even more trapidacious about tailing Vegas? The whole temple scene was just chefs kiss. How happily Macau helps his brother and enjoys how they work together. You can see how he thinks he knows everything his brother is up to because he has seen a certain amount of violence, but oh boy I cannot wait to have Macau confront some hard truths. How Vegas stood a step higher, then came to Pete's level but placed his hands always in a way to dominate him. Pete's face when Vegas touched his back was another highlight. Perfect mix of guarded, uncomfortable but also kind of into it.
Only thing I am still unsure about is whether Pete really is just this bad at tailing people or if he just assumes that Vegas will catch him so doesn’t put in too much effort to be able to play the innocent card better...Speaking of innocent: I might read too much into it because I want Pete to be a certain way, but I think he was fully aware that Kinn was under that blanket and made a point of returning to the main room and 100% was conscious when they fucked in front of him. He might have been drunk when he entered the room but I like to believe he sobered up quickly after feeling Kinn’s leg.
Bible was just a delight throughout the whole series. I like how he’s trying to get on Porsche’s good side again as a friend: he’s not succeeding but I like the dramatic effort he makes (those wine glasses were comically oversized).
KimChay
Barcode is amazing at acting nervous and flustered, it is so endearing. And a great callback to how Apo plays Porsche: flailing arms and everything. So proud that he had the guts to confess. Reactions to the kiss seem to be heavily devided between people happy that the ship is sailing and others that don’t like the agegap. To me it doesn’t feel like Kim is in love with Porchay, at least not yet. Of course he thinks he’s adorable and definitely has a soft spot for him (which might surprise Kim himself), but the moment Porchay said that there was no reason to see each other again Kim made the decision to play Porchays feelings even further in order not to lose his source of information. Which is the most delicious option and fits with the Theerapanyakul brothers’ mode of operations. He will feel conflicted and possibly really catch feelings for Porchay but that move seemed very deliberate and controlled (bless Porchay for squeezing the dear life out of him though...Porsche and him desperatedly yearning for physical intimicy has me in tears).
KinnPorsche
On paper it might look like we are right back at the end of episode 7 and nothing has changed, but to me it seemed like KinnPorsche had an enourmous amount of character growth and their communication brakedown is much more complicated than a simple “they are doing each other dirty and should talk it out before doing stupid moves”. Mile really made it believable that he used to date Tawan when he was younger: some lingering affection for the memories but it is apparent that he has changed since then, not only because of the breakup but also because time has passed and he is a different man now. He is aware on how dangerous his position is: he cannot allow himself to lose out on the intel but can’t appear to be swayed by emotions in front of his family and the rest of the mafia. The fact that Tawan got poisened on his turf is extremely alarming and a huge humilation to him and he also has to be even more careful on how to act with Porsche in front of others in order not to alarm Tawan or is father as to how much Porsche has become his weakspot. Throwing Porsche into the cell was just dramatics, I very much believe that Kinn does trust Porsche and just tries to fool Tawan (and the rest of the bodyguards). Porsche at the same time is fooling Vegas in order to get more information and I do think Kinn knows that by now. Not sure if his reaction to the pool scene was a genuine flash of jealousy or just a red herring....The only questions that remains is whether they really are on the same page like they seem to assume they are. Both are acting like the other on should obviously know and understand what the other is scheming. Either they really do, or, it is just much more delicious and complicated and they both assume that the other one does trust the other but not on the same level. Apo’s soft “Kinn” is rivaling Kinn’s breathy “Porsche” from episode 7 and it makes me feral. Sepeaking of character growth: Porsche meditating and tolerating Tawan with the utmost patience is the clearest sign on how far he has come.
Conspiracy theory of the day: I believe Tawan poisened himself

Setting Up and Operating a Mobile Car Wash in Georgia
Tumblr media
There are many spots in the US where working a versatile vehicle wash business checks out, particularly in the great climate metro regions where individuals have a huge load of cash and very pleasant cars; for example, Southern California, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Austin, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Orlando, Tampa Straight, and Atlanta. All things considered, we should talk a sf bay area auto detailing tad about setting up a portable itemizing and vehicle wash business in Georgia, explicitly in and around the Atlanta region.
Individuals are truly into their vehicles in Atlanta, and the suburban urban communities are very staggering, there are major areas of strength for a class, and a mind-blowing number of BMWs, Mercedes, Porsche, Cadillacs, and top-of-the-line SUVs. The midtown Metro region is very great also, as there are numerous experts, and gigantic stopping structures which are full all during the week - simply consider the number of structures Tramwell Crow possesses or every one of the large companies there.
When you get outside the Atlanta region the sticker costs can't be kept up with, yet I would submit to you that Savannah, Macon, Columbus, Augusta, and Valdosta are excellent also. Savannah Georgia presently has 400,000 individuals in the region, and it's not at all like the "Profound South" used to be, this is an area of strength for a class region. Likewise, assuming you are working here you will take note that there is a lot of work supply, and a lot of individuals as of now have auto enumerating abilities, making them ideal for a versatile vehicle wash business.
Likewise, Georgia is a simple spot to carry on with work, as long as you adhere to the guidelines for the DEP and keep the wash water out of their tempest channels. Around a long time back, I plunked down with a DEP provincial ecological control supervisor in Macon Georgia we discussed his difficulties, and the amount of opposition was not washing in a naturally right manner. This invited our organization, since we were keeping the guidelines, and the DEP chief was happy to send us references.
There are likewise an exceptionally enormous number of more modest urban communities all through Georgia, and it is very astonishing to converse with individuals there, and in these more modest towns everybody knows every other person, so on the off chance that you accomplish great quality work, the references simply continue to come. There are likewise areas of strength for a presence along the shore of Georgia, and obviously beyond Atlanta, and there is a Public Watchman base in Valdosta, a Flying corps Base beyond Macon, and another only north of Atlanta.
We provide quality products with quality service. All of our window tint services come with a limited lifetime warranty. For any inquiries or questions about our products and services, please give us a call at (510) 462-3557 or send us an email at [email protected].

Note
but we can all agree pulling someone and pinning them against a wall against their will is *not* romantic, right? I'm sure the Tawan thing will turn out to be something else, but he didn't explain it and went straight into sex, which, again, not ideal. Their relationship is all fucked up.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, and every person has/makes their own perspective based on their own life experiences and all that jazz, but Porsche is not a dainty little girl. That is established especially in episode 1 when he's introduced as a fighter "The Phoenix" who has won a championship(s) as well as helping Kinn escape those thugs. If Porsche wanted to get out of Kinn's grip, he would have fought tooth and nail, as he did when Kinn kidnapped him on that boat. In episode 7, he hardly fights back. Let me remind you, that even when drugged in episode 4, he still headbutted Vegas. I'd he truly wanted to get out of that bathroom, there was no way you could have stopped him. He was likely hurt and angry Kinn called him loose/a whore and wanted to leave Kinn's presence.
The other thing is, I don't understand why people need it to be said explicitly "I am not drunk" for people to realize that he was not drunk. Look at Arm and Pete, they aren't drunk, look at the rest of the men dancing behind him, they are not drunk, they're at most, buzzed. Vegas is in the background, also not drunk, watching Porsche the entire time. Listen to what Vegas says as he's hauling Porsche into the bathroom "I thought you were a heavy drinker" if you didn't already catch that no one is belligerently drunk (it may be too early in the party for that level of drunkenness), this should already be an indication that Porsche absolutely isn't.
Each time the directors want you to see that he is inebriated or impaired (drugged) they explicitly show it: in episode 2, when he drinks multiple flutes of champagne instead of watching over Kinn, in episode 3, before KP's first kiss at the pier as him and his friends start doing crazy shit, in episode 4 when he's drugged, they show the waiter putting the drug in the water.
If the directors want you to know he's drunk or impaired, they will show it to you, there will be no room left for speculation. They will show you.
In episode 7, the only people who get the spotlight into who's drinking (perhaps unmeasuredly) are Vegas' men and Vegas (who we know isn't) who initially pops open a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Additionally, there are posts going around breaking down Porsche facial expressions as Vegas takes his shirt off (I don't have the time to look through the tag, but they're there, go look at them) it's a very sober look and if you look at his eyes and face when Vegas finally kisses him, his eyes are wide open as opposed to being closed the way it was when Vegas first tried to assault him in episode 4, when KP first kiss at the pier, and when KP first finally have sex and even when Kinn is reprimanding him back at the main family house when he drunkenly falls onto Kinn's chest after drinking too much champagne (his eyes were closed/half lidded, in this episode his eyes weren't, indicating sobriety). We didn't even get a close up of his face as we usually do when he's out of it.
To not find it romantic, that's totally fine, I get it, but Porsche deserves more credit than he's being given. As most people have already pointed out, he was likely sussing Vegas out and wanted to see how far he'd take it. He probably wanted to figure out why the hell Kinn hates Vegas, specifically, so much that he doesn't want him around him and he got his answer.
I agree with most of what you said and I do believe we'll find out these theories are correct, I just think there's still not enough for us to assume all of it is true, you know? I think Porsche is strong and everything, but "he could have gotten away if he wanted to" is not a strong argument bwhdbahd and him being able to get free from Kinn doesn't exclude the fact that he'd break free from him, you know? Which I wouldn't say it's the most balanced thing in a relationship wbdhwbhd

My 2¢ on KinnPorsche after ep 4 (typed on my phone cause my cat is in my lap):
this pairing isn't totally my type, but that doesn't mean I won't watch it. the music makes me laugh sometimes but the filming is nice, the costumes are nice, the men aren't all my type but don't hurt the eyes. the comedic moments are good too.
hard to believe people are complaining about it being problematic. do you understand what genre norms are? do you understand this isn't a documentary? Bah.
I thought it being 14 eps was reasonably doable but didn't realize each ep is so long. I don't know if I can maintain interest for that long even watching eps in multiple sittings + sped up... except for the good parts of course
Speaking of, I'm genuinely surprised they had sex so early and they did it so graphically. Maybe I just don't watch enough genuinely gay Asian dramas? Not complaining but usually it takes much longer to get to the emotional & physical payoff.
I can only assume (without having read the original) there is going to be a "breakup" period soon. the characters have a fight or something happens with Porsche's little bro and they have to split up for a while. This will give them an opportunity to determine if their feelings are really serious and add some will-they-won't-they tension.
So Kinn's semi-estranged brother is stalking his own family and thinks that Porsche is a spy for the minor family... so he's going to go hit on the younger brother who has a crush on him already from social media? Unhunh.
And the Porshay younger bro is going to reignite Kim's (?) pure passion for music and remind him of youthful naivite that he has lost through his cynical upbringing!
We also have those two random friends of Kinn's as a side pairing, they will no doubt get a little side quest and bonding time with Porsche.
This whole plot feels like a modern AU of an imperial chinese historical court intrigue story. It has so many elements that map straight line to so many of those web novels I've read. If I think of it that way, the whole "live-in bodyguards" stuff makes more sense. They're like imperial guards in the palace. Three sons from different mothers/concubines and a throne up for grabs. Plus some external prince (Vegas) making suspicious moves.
(Female General and Eldest Princess was this + lesbians so go read it)
I was kind of disappointed by how everything was resolved in Kei x Yaku so I hope this series is better. Maybe I've just been spoiled by WenZhou but I prefer it when "bad" characters stay unabashedly evil. Like sure Kinn "saved" Porsche by choking him out instead of killing him but you can't set him up as having a brutal reputation and then constantly be all "he's just misunderstood". Weaksauce! I am much more interested in a Porsche forced to see how far he will really go to protect the things he cares about. What lines will he cross? What morals will he abandon? He has already killed somebody for Kinn. How much more will he do? *sicko meme*
Well, we'll see next episode what his hangover from the drugs + sex looks like. Regret?

Unorthodox Auto Repair - A Reylo Fic
That time this video came up in chat and @mnemehoshiko made me have cracky Reylo thoughts about fixing car dents with dildos. Thanks to @spacedarcy for reading this over and helping me fix that pesky problem!
Links: FF | AO3 (ETA: Link added!)
Rey has a split second to make her choice: take the fall or chance an impact. If she swerves now, she'll have to lay down the 200 kilogram bike—not the best option under any circumstance, but a full-blown Bad Idea when sporting a mini dress and heels instead of proper leathers and boots. Damn Rose and her insistence that her bachelorette party should feel like Vegas despite taking place at the Tico family farm.
Option two doesn't give her much better odds: if she brakes now, she may not have the distance to spare before hitting the jackass sitting at the crossroads without so much as parking lights. Her only saving grace is that her heels paired with the unfamiliar country roads have tempered her lead foot. She's kept the engine between her thighs at an even purr instead of coaxing it to the delicious growl she loves to hear, because she does want to show up to Finn's wedding alive come morning.
Gritting her teeth, Rey makes her choice.
In the Porsche's insulated cabin, he almost doesn't hear the screeching tires. By the time he does, it's too late. The car lurches forward from the hit, though it only moves a few inches while parked. Ben scrambles up from his reclined seat, the stars he was observing through the windshield utterly forgotten, and throws open the door.
This night just keeps getting better and better, he thinks sourly. First, the disastrous corporate banquet; now, this.
The air smells like burnt rubber as he circles round to the back of the car. An accented voice scares away the songs of nearby nocturnal creatures concealed in the cornfields surrounding the intersection.
"Shit," the voice exclaims as the girl flips up her visor and starts to remove her helmet with shaky hands. "Fuck."
He casts a cursory glance over the two vehicles. The headlight of the motorcycle shines on his back end, the only light for miles and miles just inches from his bumper. There's a dent, but nothing looks cracked or scratched on his end; her bike's front wheel didn't fare as well. The popped tire sags, making it look like the aging Triumph is bowing to his car.
Insurance details can be hashed out after manners have been met. "Are you okay?"
She swings her right leg backward, dismounting the bike. The black fabric bunched at her hips falls down to her upper thighs, and he'd be lying if he said he didn't take in how much skin stretches between the hem and her black pumps. Legs. Legs for days. Toned and smooth and. . .the absolute last thing he should be focusing on right now.
"I didn't ask to see my life flash before my eyes," the girl answers after running her hands over the front of her leather jacket and up again to grip the back of her neck, "but yeah, I'm fine."
Now that manners are dispensed with, his voice takes on a harder edge, "Are you drunk?"
"I've had drinks," she throws back, "but that's not the problem."
He holds the shock of anger in his fists, squeezing it up his arms and through his neck, before finally gritting it out around his teeth. "You rear-ended my car."
She tosses her hair over her shoulder, kicking up dust from the road as she steps toward him, an accusatory finger pointed at the loosened knot of his tie. "I bumped into your black car that didn't have any fucking lights on in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere at night," she counters. "If anyone was a hazard on the road, it was you."
He's both impressed and horrified by her words. The sharks he swims with usually conceal their teeth around him; seeing them bared and ready to bite is oddly refreshing. "Are you always this eloquent at three in the morning?"
"Only when my best friend is getting married tomorrow, and his fiance will kill me if I end up in jail," the girl goes on.
"I didn't say I was going to call the cops," Ben remarks. He has every right to. Taking his car in to be looked at by the dealer for underlying damage will cost him more than what her bike is worth. Still. . .the truth she hit upon nags at him: he is at least partially responsible for the accident. Parking at an intersection without hazards—even on a back road no one should be cruising through on a still-dark Saturday morning—wasn't the best choice on his end.
Her eyes snap up to his, hopeful. "You mean that?"
Ben groans inwardly. Considering the age of her bike and the sudden calmness in her tone, he assumes it means she has no insurance. He doesn't care much; money has never been a concern on his radar. But her bike is inoperable, if not totaled. How is she going to get it fixed without coverage? What would have happened had she been thrown from the bike and injured?
He puts aside the what-ifs to focus on the present. His jaw eats around the lie as his hand waves off the entire accident, willing to sweep it under the proverbial rug seeing as neither of them are hurt. "There's no damage."
Her eyes narrow. "Are you blind? Or do you really not see that dent?"
"It's nothing major," he corrects.
She's already shaking her head at him, not accepting his words even though she's the one that benefits from him not making a fuss. This girl seems determined to hold on to something he's ready to move past, to forget.
She crouches next to his bumper, hands smoothing over the impact site, whispering her apologies. "I'm so sorry, gorgeous. I'm gonna fix you up in no time."
"Are you talking to my—?"
"Shh," she hisses. "Let me think. I can get this dent out. I know I can."
She'd give anything to have her tools. Normally, she keeps the essentials in her saddlebag at all times, but she'd needed the space to transport party supplies tonight. For a moment she considers offering to fix the dent at her shop on Monday—even goes so far as to visualize the sleek, black 911 model nestled into the single station she calls a garage—but brushes off the thought.
The G-Man, whom she's upgraded from jackass due to his offer to forego a paper trail, would probably laugh at such an offer. He's dressed in navy Tom Ford pants and a tailored white shirt that knows every curve of muscle in his upper arms and chest intimately. This is the kind of man who doesn't work for the government so much as is the government. He doesn't come to businesses that break half a dozen OSHA laws unless he's there to give a citation.
Better not to invite trouble, Rey agrees with herself. Even so, she can't leave his beautiful Porsche looking like this. If only I had something with suction. . .
"Ah!" she cries, startling his spine straight in her eureka moment. Spinning dangerously on her heels, she bends over to dig through her saddlebag. It's a crazy idea, but the physics of it should be the same no matter if the pull is coming from a traditional suction cup or from the more unorthodox tool she has on hand thanks to Rose and her ridiculous party favors.
Her hand finally closes around the soft shaft of silicone and she whips it out into the country air.
At first, Ben isn't sure he's seeing what he's seeing. It can't possibly be that.
She straightens and holds the electric blue dildo aloft like it's some award. A delighted laugh at her ingenuity turns into a fit of giggles as she considers the obscenely large phallus, pressing the base to her hand several times as if testing it out. Whatever simulation she's running, it passes. "This should do the trick."
He intercedes before she can reach his vehicle. "Wait," he tells her, "You're going to fix my car with a. . .with that?"
Her smile falters slightly as she looks from him to the intimate toy—how anything so imposing can be called a toy, he can't begin to fathom. Flipping the dildo so she's holding the tip, she shows him the end with the concave cup. "It's just like a plunger," she explains. "It'll work just fine. These things have some incredible suction."
He's at a loss for words, but his eyebrows must speak for him because her eyes cringe shut and she runs her tongue along her bottom lip. "Not that I would know," she mutters, clearing her throat.
"This really isn't necessary," he protests. "I can have a mechanic work it out tomorrow."
"I am a mechanic," she returns with a proud smile. "And one that won't charge you a fucking pound of flesh for an easy fix."
Without another word, she brushes past him and kneels down on the road, clenching her jaw against the bite of the asphalt on her bare knees.
"It's just. . ." he begins again, gesturing at the thing he can't seem to name without his cheeks threatening to catch fire. "Why do you even have it?"
She shrugs as she lines up the base of the dildo with the center of the dent. The thing is so large that even her two hands don't cover all of it. "It's from the party. No need to worry," she adds, "I haven't used it yet."
Rey remembers learning about spontaneous human combustion in school and thinks it might be happening to her right now, starting at her ears. Haven't used it yet? she repeats to herself with an internal groan she wonders if he can hear. You don't plan on using it at all, Rey. It was a gag gift.
She goes silent with embarrassment and hopes he thinks she's concentrating on her task. There's not a chance in hell that she can meet his eyes right now to check. Instead, she secures her hold around the dildo and presses it firmly against the dent. She feels the air compress beneath it, gives the dildo a slight twist to lock it in place, and then yanks back with a determined pull.
The dent pops out with a hollow thunk, and it's over. Easy, peasy. She's probably just saved him a grand with a five second job.
His remark is a dumbfounded whisper: "I can't believe that worked."
She's still flushed from her previous comment, but she can't help grinning at the skeptic. "I said I could fix it. I'm good at fixing things. Always have been."
"Even with your skills," he starts, "I don't think there's a way you can fix that tonight."
She follows his gaze to her busted front tire, and Rey scrunches her nose at the sight. It really is a miracle that she wasn't bucked from her seat when the rear of the bike popped up. Having opted for two wheels all her life, Rey's had her fair share of scary situations and taken one or two trips to the ER; tonight marks the first time she's ever been truly afraid of not walking away.
"I'll have to call for an Uber," she remarks, tucking the dildo under her arm to retrieve her phone. "Finn will give me a tow to my shop in the morning."
As she unzips a pocket on her leather jacket and removes her phone, Ben scuffs the asphalt with his cap-toe Oxfords. Getting an Uber to come all the way out here at this hour is going to take forever and cost her an arm and leg. He would extend an offer to drive her home, but he can't think of a way to express it without coming off sounding like a creep. They are relative strangers, after all. He doesn't even know her name.
"I'll wait with you," he says instead, leaning against the side of his car and tucking his hands into the pockets of his pants. "It's the least I can do."
"You might be out here until dawn," she comments as she scrolls through the app to contact a driver.
"I insist."
Her thumbs stop moving across the screen. The girl peers up at him, cocking her head to the side. "If you're willing to wait that long, why not just give me a lift?"
Ben thanks the stars that she is the one who asks, and he pushes away from the vehicle. "I'd be happy to, if you're comfortable with that."
She looks from him to the car, an odd sense of longing in her glance. In the eyes of a mechanic, the sleek Porsche must be an awfully big temptation. The hunger in her gaze isn't focused on him, that's for sure. He fleetingly wonders if it's possible to be jealous of his own car.
"On one condition," she states, then changes her mind, "No, two."
Tentatively, he nods in agreement. He did say he wants her to be comfortable with him driving her home. "Make your demands."
"Show me your ID."
Of all the things she could have said, that isn't what he anticipated. "My what?"
"Your license," she repeats. "I don't make a habit of getting into cars with men at three AM. You could be a serial killer."
His eyes go wide and his jaw slack in mild horror—these are the conclusions women leap to?—but he's already digging into his back pocket for his wallet. In a moment, he produces it and slips his driver's license out of the clear window, holding it out to her between two fingers while questioning her logic, "Even if I was out to kidnap beautiful women, how would having my license keep you safe?"
She shrugs, snapping a picture of it and tapping out a message he presumes she's sending to a friend. "It wouldn't," she answers, "but at least if I go missing, the police will know where to look first."
"A bit morbid, don't you think?"
"I like to think of it as pragmatic," she responds, finally reading his name from the card, "Ben Solo."
He watches the way her mouth forms his name, how her pink lips kiss together before curving around the vowels. "What's your other condition?" he inquires as he plucks his ID from her hand.
She moves past him and ghosts her free hand an inch over the car's shell, headed for the passenger side door, as she makes her second request: "I want to hear her roar. I may never get the chance to ride in one of these again, and. . .it'll kill me if I don't find out what she can do."
He mirrors her movements as she speaks, meeting her on the opposite side of the car. He was right about the hungry look in her eyes as they feasted upon his car. "I think I can make that happen," he agrees with a wide grin, adding, "But he prefers to be called 'Kylo.'"
"Ben and Kylo," she repeats with a smile. "We had a rough start, but I'm glad to have met you both. I'm Rey."

wanna preface this by saying i am NOT trying to be a vegas apologist or downplay anything i am just trying to get the facts straight
but where exactly did the idea that vegas is a rapist even come from?? i know he drugged porsche in ep4, but he explicitly said ‘i dont like to force anybody’ and that he only wanted to mark him up. which ABSOLUTELY is still sexual assault and absolutely wrong. but i feel like people take his reaction after porsche head butted him to mean that he got angry and was going to rape him but got interrupted but like…all he said was ‘oh that’s how you like it?’ and started to get rougher. WHICH IS STILL SEXUAL ASSAULT but there is no explicit indication of intended rape. especially considering that literally in the next scene….we get k*** explicitly r*ping porsche…..
even in the bathroom scene, he tries to make a move on porsche while they’re BOTH drunk (i see lots of ppl say porsche was faking being drunk so this can go either way) which again isn’t great but there’s no indication of attempted r*pe
even with pete. he gets a little handsy in that dungeon, very clear sexual assault, but everyone was saying he was going to r*pe pete if his dad hadn’t walked in and it’s like?????? where does it say that????? he had pete tied up in his room in just boxers at an isolated safehouse with just the two of them and didn’t touch him, but im supposed to believe he was gonna r*pe him in that dungeon???
because the most consistent thing we’ve seen with vegas and sex…..is consent and protection. even with tawan ffs
i cannot stress enough that this is not me trying to be an apologist or to compare vegas and kinn because my god do they both have their severe flaws, but its just insane to me that vegas and vegaspete have this reputation of being rapey when……well you know
So, a lot of it is coming from the fact that I know he does rape Pete in the book and so that's where the scene lead in that version of the universe. Note: I have not read the book but I know enough people who did to know about that.
I also draw a lot less of a line between sexual assault and rape than you do and while I understand that, it also affects how we're using the language. Would Pete have gone into full on rape when he had Porsche drugged up? There is no way to know. Vegas' morals are like most people's and what he considers forcing doesn't have to be the same.
Think about how many people don't think K raped P in that scene. Think about it. How many people argued with that being rape? How many people explained it away as love? How many people would still never admit that it was rape? I bet there's tons out there.
Did Vegas ever commit a rape on-screen? No. He never did. Did he come close? Yes. Was he interrupted? Yes. Could he easily have committed a rape? Yes.
Vegas apologies aren't needed in the same way because he didn't do the thing that he would be so ripped to shreds for but do I doubt that he wouldn't have done them.
I also don't know how drunk Vegas was when he tried to kiss Pete. There's a good chance neither of them was drunk in that moment but thought the other was. That's... that's a whole different thing about deception and how the show frames things and the differences between the relationships of the characters within the meta narrative.
But I absolutely believe that we are supposed to think that Vegas had plans and/or the ability to rape Pete but did not. But I also kind of think the narrative wants us to assume K and P were already in love despite the rape soooo... I just don't trust the narrative of the show, tbh.
For me, I think Vegas has no limits of what he would have or could have done to Porsche and that his only limits with Pete came after the talk about their fathers. I absolutely think rape was on the table the entire time despite saying he didn't want to force anyone because Vegas just doesn't think in the same morality we do.
Again, at least part of this is that most people aren't differentiating between sexual assault and rape, especially with the idea that rape would only mean penetration or the full act of sex.
But a lot of it is also just K-apologists.
