To ME, OdyPen truly are likeminded and equal in almost every way.

Both are basically "tied to one another". Both can be reckless and when one is being reckless, the other will "pull them back". Both keep each other in check most of the time. They balance one another when the other needs it.

They're also "tied to one another" in how they both will also run into a situation together and think the same thing. Whether it's something fucking stupid is for Athena to decide.

Basically this except OdyPen are holding hands and will occasionally pull the other back. When both are running into something stupid, Athena grabs them both by the scruff.

okay deliriously mad about this specific bit in an f/oa review. YOU HAVE JUST PLAYED. A GAME. ABOUT FOUND FAMILY. where hermes in multiple instances expresses the fact he feels more at home in the underworld, doesn't have a good relationship with his father anymore and feels as though he is always playing a role on olympus. if you fucking choose to stay on olympus despite building a relationship with the wider cast and hermes, OF COURSE he is going to reject any advances and break off a budding relationship. BECAUSE THE PC HAS JUST PROVED TO HIM THAT THEY HAVE NOT LISTENED OR TAKEN TO HEART ANY OF THE THINGS HE'S BEEN WORRIED ABOUT. the pc chooses to rejoin a community that ostracizes the people he cares most about and essentially does what hera does, use the underworld as a getaway from olympus when it suits them, without caring deeply about the underworld itself. like cmon. some criticism i can get but this one.. KEEP MY WIFE'S NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!

SophiVal. It's decent. They had like one moment in the first episode of the first season then several surprisingly pulling moments in the last few episodes of the second season. The "Everything I do, I do for my family" "Everything I do, I do for my family" scene broke me immensely. Still, it felt ever so slightly forced there at the end. Only slightly tho

Anyone with Layla. Ermm......... You guys might hate me for this but.. Layla might be the most underwhelming character in this series. She remained a trope for me while other characters were built on and became interesting. That one episode with Glacier's previous rider didn't really make her any less a trope for me sorryyyyy. That one moment in the Fairy Moon episode and her leadership skills in the penultimate episode felt... too little too late. Anyways WHOEVER HC HER AS ARO I'M COMING FOR YOU.
