the entire dorm was fragrant with the sweet smells of baked goods ! one could even catch a whiff outside the building even ! a joint venture from the second year girls( yukari, fuuka, & the ever excited for any group activity; minako herself ! ) who had completely bogarted the kitchen completely for the day. the trio deciding it would be far more effective, && cheaper, to simply make all the confections they needed for valentine's day--- though it seemed as if they really just had the boys of the dorm to give any to, the rest no doubt going to themselves. a proper way to rev up galentine's day for sure !

of course, that didn't mean that there wasn't any care into those sweets that were going to their male companions. juggling fixing the various mistakes caused by fuuka, minako had taken a specific venture to make a separate set of cookies for her senpai specifically. remembering a passing comment once before that he wasn't the biggest fan of sweets, aiming to make something quasi on theme with chocolate but not so sugary that it would be a pain & a half for him. so after flipping through quite a bit of various recipes in books at the library & quite a few online on the dorm computer--- she had settled on madeleines ! the lot were more like small cakes anyways but easier to eat.

&& with that in mind she'd made sure to make the madeleines herself, little cookie sized cakes that were shaped not in their traditional shell appearance but that of a heart in honor of the holiday. of course being heart shaped was no doubt expected from the bright fool, after all she loved her senpai ! she loved junpei, she loved yukari & fuuka & everyone at the dorm ! all her friends held her heart so why shouldn't she treat them with cute little heart shaped treats ! valentine's day is about love in all it's forms ! delighted to see the batch come fresh out of the oven almost perfect, the lot was half dipped within some semisweet chocolate. half were left to dry, while half were then sprinkled with some nuts for garnish, stuck neatly( as she very, VERY meticulously made sure the pieces laid juuuuust right ) within the chocolate. the other half were then separated once more & that half got a different garnish of white chocolate lines piped thinly for decor.

once done, the madelines were gathered & wrapped up within a cute handkerchief & tied with a ribbon to be put aside so it didn't get mixed up with the other goods & sweets. everything was to be made ahead of time so that early on february fourteenth the girls rushed downstairs & put out all the various chocolates & baked goods upon the grand table within the dinning area in the lounge for everyone to partake in all day ! specific boxes from each of the girls had been placed with everyone's names upon them, each having small bits of fudge or chocolates with silly messages or drawings.

the little bundle of madelines sat upon the boxes from fuuka & yukari, but minako's gift came with a little note rather than just a name of which said:

for senpai, who is very sweet but doesn't like things that are super sweet. - arisato p.s; you have to get all of us white day gifts now haha !

The kitchen was off-limits--a war zone, none of the boys dared to step outside of the rooms, heck some decided to spend their time outside of the dorm fearing for their lives. For Akihiko, he would hate to be locked in his room for hours, so he opt to go and train. It would be a good use of his time instead of holing himself up in his room.

Akihiko went on his usual jog, met some school mates on his way, and even club mates who share similar training regimen. Hagakure visit is a must, too after a long jog.

Junpei had texted him saying that the girls had finished their culinary crimes and he can get back home. It was not like left because of them so he decided to stick around and pay a visit to Officer Kurosawa.

The golden boy was not dense as to what this day hold in meaning. He just rather feign ignorance which can help him avoid unnecessary situations. The girls in the dorm were probably make gifts--chocolate ones for the people they like? Well, he get that it is not necessarily for people you 'love' since he got some chocolates from his foster mother early this morning. How kind of her ... which is another reason he cannot fail on his mission. He is Sanada's soul now.

Going back to the dorm after bidding goodbye to officer Kurosawa, he hoped at least that someone took care of what Fuuka had ... concocted. Whoever the poor fellow will get her mystery food x, may their soul rest in pieces--peace.

The smell is enough to knock someone out with diabetes. Geez, what were they doing? "I'm back," he said swinging the door open. Seems like there were no one in the lounge. "Hm... " he walked toward the dining table where boxes of different red gradient color were placed. "Did they make all of these? Cool." eyes quickly lays on the ones marked for him. "Huh? Me?" he raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"I see. They made for all of us, huh. Well, if we all get knocked out, who is going to save us? Sigh..." what a predicament. Declining a girl's gift is like ... opening gates of hell upon yourself. He'd fight shadows day and night than being placed in a situation like this.

Thinking ...

"Doubt anything in here can kill Junpei, so we might as well have a fighting chance." pure logic, ladies and gentlemen.

"Besides, Mitsuru will do something ... I think," unless she rather see them willow in pain .... she wouldn't, would she? Sigh ...

"Argh, dang it. If it does not kill me, at least it might make me stronger," perhaps. He picked the first thing on top which was the bundle. Something was obvious that it was from leader--just the careful details yells it is Arisato. Always looking out for everyone.

"Let's see... madeleines?" His first impression was a cake or chocolate something. This was not a bad choice in all honesty. Creative and different. To be honest, he could use a little bit more sugar today after his workout but hey, these go well for breaks between studying and training in his room. Definitely, a thoughtful gift.

He picked his share and climbed up to his room to try them out. Arisato's madeleines were chef kiss. All that home economics classes seem to have paid off, huh. Hopefully, the same goes for Fuuka's stuff--and Yukari's.

A smile curled his lips upon seeing the note. Yep, that's their leader. "I do like sweet things, though. Some sweet things." he do indulge in some sweet fries from time to times. They keep the kid in his heart alive. Oh, and pancakes. Pancakes are good.

"White day gifts, huh... Geez, now that's a hard thing to do. I have to think about it from now." he placed the note on his desk to be a reminder for him to not forget about his new obligatory gifts haha. God help him to pick something back for the girls.

“You did well - J.”

You twisted the card in your hands, inspecting the front and the back, but not much else information had been sent along with the flowers that had waited for you in the dressing room on your last day of shooting. 

It was normal for actors to get flowers and gifts once they finished filming, but you usually knew who sent them - staff, crew, friends, family members. There wasn’t a person in your narrow circle of acquaintances starting with the letter ‘J’ and not having written their full name on the cards except for the mysterious sender of the pink peonies. 

Out of all flowers, they were your favorite ones, that much they knew.

“Do you know who sent them?” you asked your assistant, but she also only shrugged.

“They got brought in with all the other gifts.” She paused and then widened her eyes as though she got hit by a sudden realization. “I bet it’s Jaehyun! How funny would that be?”

You blinked still in confusion. “Who?”

“Jaehyun from NCT. The one you’re shooting your next drama with? The lead? Hello?”

“Ah, you mean Jeong Yuno. I don’t perceive him as the idol he is. Under his real name, he’s only my co-actor.” 

You were only a casual listener to k-pop, but of course you knew NCT. When you had first gotten casted for this new coming of age drama, you were so happy to finally do something that wasn’t targeted to teens only that you didn’t care much about who the lead was, that was how much you trusted the respectful director. When it was announced that Jaehyun from NCT would do his second drama alongside you in this challenging project, you had been initially doubtful. He was an idol, not an actor, and idol dramas had quite the reputation you didn’t want to live up to. You hoped he too.

“I saw his Instagram live yesterday.” Your assistant was a certified fan with her bias being Doyoung. “He recommended your newest release and encouraged his fans to look forward to this one. He’s certainly such a fanboy of yours.”

“... he did?” You looked at the flowers and the card again. “He certainly got a lot of praise for his first drama.”

“I told you so!”

You allowed yourself to smile, getting caught up in a wishful thought that your assistant could be right and the flowers came from him, although you hadn’t even met personally yet. He was indeed very handsome, and from what you had seen, kind and respectful too, certainly a nice lead to act alongside with.

“Are we getting flattered, y/n?” she teased.

“No way!” you defended yourself. “Could be anyone else too. Quite a few celebs recommend my works, it probably has nothing to do with him.”

“Whatever you say, but that’s my guess.”

“Jaehyun, how was your experience working alongside y/n for your newest drama? She’s praised as the greatest actress of this generation.”

Jaehyun looked at the interviewer. He had been booked today for a photoshoot and an article with this magazine, of course questions about his latest work were inevitable. 

“She certainly is,” he answered. “She’s been in the industry since she was a child, so she has a lot of experience and could teach me many things since this is my second drama only. We practiced our scenes together a lot, so that the director would be satisfied and not many re-shoots were needed. She’s a capable and helpful co-actress.”

“What was an incident that stuck with you while filming?”

“One day, I came in sick, but we really needed to close this certain scene at the venue. Y/n waited for me with a thick blanket in which she wrapped me once I finished filming so that I wouldn’t be too cold. Aside from being a great actress, y/n is a great person too, always looking out for others.”

Jaehyun knew the last sentence was probably pushing it, but he got a kick out of it, wondering how much of it could make it through the editing process since he had read through the internet as well. Most of his fans were head over heels for such facts that supported their fictional ship. Truth to be told, he hadn’t expected such a positive reception, especially since they had quite a few kissing scenes too. 

“Okay…” The interviewer raised his brow over Jaehyun’s open attitude.  “You once admitted you were a fan of y/n or better say her works, even before shooting the drama. While filming, it was quite obvious that you got along well, not only during your scenes together, but also privately as you constantly talked and joked around. Would you say the fondness you had developed for each other on screen transferred to off screen? Fans would certainly be delighted. They even refer to you as the next Song couple.”

“This is not an appropriate question,” the manager interrupted. “I would ask you to stick to the questions approved beforehand.”

“Yes, but only this additional one… y/n recently got spotted wearing a shirt you once wore as well that wasn’t even produced by the designer anymore and was a bit too large for her. How can you explain this?”

“Please stick to the approved questions,” the manager chided again, obviously ready to throw hands.

“With an occupation in the entertainment industry, not as an idol but now also as an actor, I wouldn’t have so much time for a relationship,” Jaehyun cleared up. “In the future, I would like to continue concentrating on drama roles while simultaneously giving my best to contribute to the group. Please look forward to NCT’s comeback next month.”

“Thank you, Jaehyun.”

When Jaehyun had finished his last schedule for the day, he got into the car. It was already dark outside, but he still pulled out his phone to dial a certain number. She picked up right after the first ring.

“Listen…” he began and sighed, “I know you like wearing my clothes. But can you please not pick out one from years ago that people might recognize? They are sharp-eyed.”

She giggled at the other end of the phone. “I’m sorry, it looked so cozy. Are you already on your way?”

“Yes. See you in a few. I brought a gift.”

On the seat next to him, there was a bouquet of pink peonies.

Due to the way their schedules lined up, Mina, Sana, and Momo spent their holiday time off together. They were glad they got time with their families and time to just relax and not have to think about schedules.

Momo scheduled a dinner for the three of them on Christmas Eve since they wanted to stay up past midnight to wish each other a Merry Christmas.

The restaurant was nice and since it was Christmas Eve, not many people were eating there. They thankfully only had to have one manager with them and no other security.

By the time they had ordered their food and settled in, they filled each other in on how their families were doing and what they did in the two days they were apart from each other.

"I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be right back." Mina excused herself from the table, leaving her phone on an article she had been reading before she got to the restaurant.

Sana wasn't a nosy person at all, but she couldn't help her eyes drifting over to look at the younger's phone screen. At first glance, the article seemed to be something like a tier list. It didn't really seem all that interesting, but the longer Mina was gone, the more Sana couldn't resist taking another peek at her phone.

Deciding to take just a few more seconds to read the bullet points that were visible on the phone screen, Sana tilted her head in confusion. She wasn't too sure what she was reading, but she remembered seeing the words 'age regression' once before when she was on Instagram. She didn't think much of it, so she didn't linger on the post.

Now that Sana was seeing 'age regression' again in an actual article that Mina was reading, she was a little more curious. Before she could read any more of the bullet points, though, Mina sat back down beside Momo.

Sana managed to pull her eyes away from the article and focused on eating with the other two. The rest of dinner was spent talking about whatever was on their minds, and it was nice. It was relaxing and it felt good to just be eating like normal friends.

It wasn't until the end of dinner when they were paying the check that Sana started to think about the article again. The words 'age regression' were in the front of her mind and it was getting difficult to think about anything else.

"Sana?"

Sana shook herself out of her thoughts and looked at her friend with a sheepish smile. "Sorry. I was just thinking about... gifts I still need to wrap."

One of Mina's eyebrows raised, but she laughed it off. It wasn't unusual for Sana to space out like that. "I was just asking if you wanted to come over to grab your jacket that you left at my house a few weeks ago. I know I could just bring it with me later, but I'm sure Ray would love to see you.

Sana simply nodded and flashed Mina a small smile. They said their goodbyes to Momo even though they'd be seeing each other in a few hours to wish each other a Merry Christmas and exchange their gifts at Momo's house.

The ride to Mina's house was unusually quiet. Mina didn't mind the silence, but Sana was usually chatty after dinner, especially when one of the girl's favorite holidays was in a few hours.

Mina put the code in for her apartment and opened the door. She slipped her shoes off and put her purse down by the door. She greeted Ray and gave him a quick kiss before she went into her room to grab Sana's jacket.

Sana followed in behind Mina and took her shoes off before sitting on the floor to give Ray a long pet. As she stroked the old dog's fur, age regression was on her mind again. She had a few minutes to research it a little in the car, and it cleared up a few things, but she still wanted to know why Mina was reading an article about it.

When Mina came back out with Sana's jacket, the younger girl looked up and cleared her throat. "Can I ask you about something?"

Mina chuckled and nodded. "Of course, you can." She walked into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water and came back out, sitting down on the floor to pet Ray.

"When you went to the dinner after we ordered at the restaurant, you left your phone on. I wasn't trying to invade your privacy or anything, but I kind of glanced over and looked at the article you were reading." Sana looked down at her hands as she spoke.

Mina shut her eyes and took a deep breath. She hoped that Sana hadn't actually seen or had time to read anything, but based on what she just said, there was a low chance of that happening.

"Why were you reading an article about age regression? I did a little research on it while we were coming here, but I'm just curious."

Mina's first instinct was to just curl up into a ball and shut down. Usually when something happened that she didn't like, this would work. Unfortunately, she couldn't do this to Sana. No matter what Mina would try to do, there was an extremely high chance that Sana would see right through it since they were so close.

For a minute or two, the apartment was as quiet as could be. The only sound that momentarily broke the silence was the sound of Ray scratching his neck, making the tag on his collar jingle.

Having had almost no time to actually try and come up with an excuse as to why she was reading about age regression, Mina decided to try and defend herself. Sana shouldn't have been looking at her phone anyway.

"I don't understand why you were looking at my phone, Sana. I mean, it's not like I had it on with a big sign on it saying, 'LOOK AT ME', while I was gone." Mina felt her heart start to beat faster as she spoke. All she really wanted to do was hide, but she knew that wouldn't fly with the older girl.

Age regression was something that Mina hadn't shared with any of the girls. She knew it wasn't something that was exactly normal, and she really didn't want to worry any of them or freak them out. She didn't think she'd be able to keep her regression a secret forever, but she didn't think that any of them would figure it out this quickly.

Especially not on Christmas Eve of all days.

"Minari, I really didn't mean to look. It was just... there and I glanced over. I swear I didn't see anything else." Sana took one of her hands off of Ray to try and put it on Mina's knee, but the younger girl pulled her leg away.

Without even thinking, Mina got up and walked to her room. She closed the door to her room and crawled onto her bed, curling up in a ball in the corner. She pulled her stuffed penguin Iggy close to her chest and buried her face into his soft fur.

The last thing Mina wanted to do, especially since they had to go over to Momo's in a few hours, was regress. She was already fighting regressing at dinner, but now she had no control over it.

Any time Mina got really nervous or scared and she was trying to not regress, it always tipped her over. She tried to close her eyes and take deep breaths, but the longer she sat there on her bed, the smaller she felt.

Sana gave Mina a few minutes to herself before she quietly got up, trying her best to not disturb Ray who had fallen asleep beside her. She walked to the younger's door and gently knocked on it.

When Sana didn't get an answer, she gently pushed the door open and saw Mina curled up in the corner on her bed. Concerned, Sana walked into the younger's room and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"I'm really sorry that I looked at your phone like that, Mina. I really didn't mean to snoop or anything. And I'm sorry if I made you upset."

Mina so badly wanted to say something, but her head was so fuzzy, and she felt so small. Before she could stop herself from saying anything, she lifted her face from Iggy's back and softly babbled something to Sana.

Sana looked at Mina and scooted a little closer. She wasn't sure if her ears were tricking her, or if Mina really had said something she couldn't understand. "What was that?"

Mina let out a small groan and babbled softly again. She rubbed the soft fur on Iggy's wing to try and distract herself, but all she really wanted was to not be little in front of Sana. What if Sana judged her or made fun of her?

From the limited research she was able to do in the car, Sana was able to piece together what was happening. Sana took another look at the way Mina was curled up into herself and holding on to her stuffed penguin like her life depended on it. Mina's voice was much softer than usual, and unlike usual, Sana had no idea what the girl was trying to say to her.

Mina must have regressed.

Sana wasn't sure why Mina had regressed, or if it was a bad thing, but something was telling her that it wasn't going to be going away any time soon. She looked at Mina again and slowly held her hand out.

Mina looked down at Sana's hand and let out a small whimper. It looked so soft, and she really wanted to hold it, but she was afraid that Sana would judge her the second she reached her own hand out.

Once Mina stared at Sana's hand for a few more seconds, she decided to just take a deep breath and hold it. Mina reached one of her hands out and gently placed it in Sana's palm. It was so warm, and it made her head feel even fuzzier, but this time in a good way.

They just sat there like that for a few minutes. Sana soothingly rubbed small circles into the back of Mina's hand until she saw the little's breathing go back to normal and her hand stopped shaking.

"Can I ask you a few questions, Mina? If you can't answer them or you don't want to, you don't have to answer them." Sana continued to rub soothing circles into the back of Mina's hand with her thumb.

Mina wasn't sure how many questions she'd be able to answer, if any, but she wanted to know what Sana had to say to her. Mina scooted out of the corner a little bit and nodded as she focused on the feeling of Sana's thumb on the back of her hand.

"Have you told any of the other girls about your regression?"

Mina took a shaky breath in and shook her head.

"Is this something that happens a lot, but you have to hide it from us?"

A nod.

"Does it make you feel safe or less worried about things?"

Nothing for a few seconds and then a hesitant nod.

"I want to talk with you about this when you're not feeling... little, but would you want me to be your caregiver?"

Mina's eyes opened a bit wider in surprise. That was the last question she had expected Sana to ask, and she definitely didn't expect it almost immediately after Sana found out that she regressed.

Being a caregiver wasn't easy to do, and it wasn't for everyone. Mina wasn't sure if Sana knew much about being a caregiver and the work that can sometimes go into it, especially with a little who's an idol, but she really wanted to trust that Sana was being serious.

Mina thought about Sana's question for a little before she scooted a few more inches towards the older girl. She cautiously laid her head on Sana's shoulder and gave her a small nod. Even though she knew they would need to talk about it when she was big, she already felt so comfortable with Sana.

Even though Sana knew almost nothing about age regression, she could tell that Mina was feeling quite little. She wished that the younger girl could talk to her, but she knew that the most she'd get was a nod or a shake of the head and a few babbles from her.

"I know we've got to go to Momo's soon, but is it okay if we lay here for a bit, Minari?" Sana gently brushed her fingers through the little's hair which earned a content sigh and a small nod.

Taking a deep breath, a small smile spread across Sana's face. She knew nothing about being a caregiver, but Mina was someone she'd be willing to take entire weeks out of her year to take care of all the time if that's what it would take.

yet again, warmth spreads underneath your skin and across your chest at the sight of the chocolates displayed cutely across your desk. for the last week or so, you’d received a flurry of gifts from an unknown admirer— each attached to a sweet note, written with such deep feelings that every time you read one your heart thumped loudly in your chest.  

“let me guess, another one?” mina swoons from your right, joining you in the empty classroom for the day ahead. pink hair tickles at the junction between your head and your shoulder as she reaches for the box of sweets in your grip— you don’t bother putting up a fight, knowing she’d take it from you anyway. “that’s like the third time this week, yn.”

bowing your head shyly, you run your fingers over the small note that lays unfolded on your desk. ‘for you, i’d do anything.’ it reads and you wonder for the umpteenth time; you out of all of classmates is capable of writing such a thing. “i know, i really wish i knew who’s sending them— no ones ever quite done something like this for me before.” you voice is quiet and hopeful, a contrast to the bustling energetic babbles that come from your third year classmates as they filter in for the day ahead. you scan them all to look for a possible source, knowing that your heart could belong to anyone of them.

“it’s gotta be deku!” kaminari cuts through your train of thought like a knife through butter— throwing his arm around your shoulders as he plucks the box of chocolates from mina’s grip, much to her annoyance. “he’s like the sweetest dude in the class, there’s no way it could be anyone else. we’re not capable of cute shit like that.” you roll your eyes and allow your friend to tear open the box for a morning treat but let your gaze slip over to where izuku chats animatedly with ochako. not him.

jirou is next to speak, ripping the box from the blonde to take it to her desk beside yours. kaminari whines as the girl divides up the sweet snacks for, taking one for both herself and mina. chaos is ensuing and yet again, your friends are the centre of it. “nah, my bet’s on sato...how else would yn be getting so many sweet treats every day?”

the group falls silent, mulling over the choice as you finally take a seat and swipe one of the chocolates for yourself. popping it into your mouth, you huff in frustration.

“doesn’t make sense, everything gifted to me so far has been insanely exclusive or expensive...some are even my favourites from abroad and— i don’t speak to sato enough for him to know them...“ you admit, pawing your cheeks with embarrassment.

“maybe it’s kirishima then! you guys are always together and he kinda seems like the romantic type..?” your pink haired friend suggests and the more you think about it, the more it makes sense. it was true, you were both always together— even if it was in the presence of others like bakugou and kaminari— and had more than enough in common, from music tastes to gaming. you could see the hardening hero as someone you’d go for as well, eijirou was an obvious choice. “what do you think, bakugou?”

you peek up from the note ( neatly folded ) and box of chocolates ( now returned ) that sit on your desk, catching the arrival of your final three friends. bakugou, sero and kirishima himself. you feel body flush with warmth as you catch the latter’s ruby eyed gaze and give him a small wave accompanied by a smile; that kirishima quickly returns.  

the blonde however, tsks at mina’s question before making his way to his seat. you considered yourself and katsuki to be good friends; it was usually quiet whenever you too were around one another which was a nice change of pace from his usual rowdy personality— but the majority of your time with each other was spent with him teasing you for your quirk.

“‘m callin’ bullshit. whoever this is should hurry up and face how they feel. the candy shit is stupid.” bakugou growls out, throwing his backpack onto the desk; ready to begin class. in all three years of knowing him, he’d never showed any signs of romantic interest towards anyone in your class, especially you. meaning that your admirer, definitely bakugou.

you turn away from him and your group of friends to face the board, ignoring how they scold him for his harsh words. “right, stupid...” you sigh quietly, just as aizawa enters the room.

ever since your brief conversation with the explosive boy himself, bakugou had been increasingly rude to you throughout the day and it was starting to get on your last nerves. at first, it had been subtle— bumping you in the corridors between classes, pretending he didn’t have an extra pen for you when you knew that he carried spares for your friends who often forgot and then he’d straight up ignored your invitation to study during lunch like you usually did.

you figured that the blonde was having a bad day, bakugou was never usually this harsh to you and you could talk it out with him later. this behaviour was something you hadn’t seen from your friend since first year, and you almost believed that something else had been bothering him— until he almost blew you high into the sky during hero training that afternoon. of course you called him out on it, yelling at him in front of the entire class as your frustrations finally bubbled over but bakugou remained straight faced— leading to your current predicament.

aizawa thought it was best for the two of you to work things out over cleaning duties after school— something you thought you’d been well past seeing as you were third years now. mature, grown up third years who knew how to talk about their problems. apparently, katsuki bakugou was not one of them. even while you rearranged chairs and swept under desks, he still managed to crawl under your skin with petty remarks and hums of disapproval.

it’s only when you realised that katsuki had been actively trying to avoid your gaze or rather, your entire presence— that you snapped, dropping the broom you held in your hands and letting it clatter to the floor beside him, ultimately grabbing his attention.

“are you fucking insane—?”

“what the hell is your problem, bakugou?” you slice right through his words, a quiet rage flooding your bloodstream as you glare down at him. the boy himself looks dumbfounded, having never heard you talk to him in such away, before and stops shelving the books he had been holding. “did i do something to you?”

“like I’d let you do anythin’ to piss me off.”

god, he infuriates you. you step closer to the blonde, who stands at least half a head taller than you and shove at his chest as best you can— needing an outlet for your frustrations. “then why have you been acting like an asshole all day? first you blow me off and then you quite literally blow me up, and now? you’re avoiding me?” your fists curl in his untucked shirt, tugging at it as all of your emotions spill out into the space between you. “i don’t know what i did, but it doesn’t mean you get to treat your friend like shit, katsuki. you’ve been so mean to me today!”

bakugou looks away, avoiding your eyes that cloud with a sadness he can’t bare to face. you tell yourself not to cry, hating the way your bottom lip wobbles at his change in attitude. “’m mean to everyone, there’s nothin’ special about you.” he excuses himself, trying to step away from you.

“but not to me, you know that,” your voice shakes, everything you’d held back finally slipping through opened cracks. why was he treating you this way? what had you done to deserve this? you glance up, trying to find his vermillion eyes and the answers that may lie behind them. “you’ve been acting so...so off, since this morning, when mina asked about my admirer. you called it stupid. is it so hard to believe that someone, that kirishima might even like me?” the grip you had on bakugou’s shirt loosens but you remain leaning against him, neither of you daring to breathe. “why should i even care what you think? you’ve never been one for romance...u-unless you count the manga that you read but i don’t know how that would...”

and then your babbling stops, realisation washing over you in heavy waves. bakugou appears visibly tense before you, fist clenching and unclenching by his aides as you process your own train of thought. he hadn’t been mean to you for the sake of it, he had been because he didn’t know how else to express his feelings of jealously. it wasn’t kirishima that had been sending you notes, no— it had been bakugou all along. “how that would relate to me...” you think out loud, feeling him flinch beneath your grip. “k-katsuki...do you have a crush on me?”

“...don’t...” the blonde warns, heat rushing to his cheeks at your very accusation. a smile comes rushing to your cheeks, the familiar warmth finding its way back into your chest. “don’t look at me like that, fucker. i-i’m not good at this emotion shit, you know that and this was easier than talking— yn, stop fucking lookin’ at me like that.”

the almost whine that slips from between katsuki’s lips makes your tummy fill with affectionate butterflies, causing you to finally let go of his poor shirt and throw your arms around him in a tight hug. bakugou hesitates for a moment, trying to decode the situation and decide for himself if this was real— but you decide to do the talking and tell him foot yourself. “can’t help it, not when i feel the same way about you, katsuki.” you knew that no matter who was behind your little gifts and love notes, your heart would belong to your admirer and your admirer alone. with a rush of adrenaline after feeling katsuki return your embrace, you lean up to press a soft lingering kiss to his chapped lips.

he tastes like honey and smoke, feels warm like a soft summer breeze but as your lips love together and speak a thousand unspoken confessions, the pair of you realise that you never want the moment to end. “i meant what i said in that last note,” bakugou hums softly, pressing his forehead to yours and holding you close as if you’re going to disappear or suddenly realise your feelings for him aren’t true. “i’d do anything for you...”

“anything?” for the second time that day, you swoon at the blonde’s words and peck his nose gently.

he nods once, lost in thought before speaking again. “except for buy you those fucking chocolates again. they’re fucking expensive, cost a shitload.”

you snort at that, leaning up to lock lips him again— who needed chocolate when you could kiss katsuki bakugou instead.

“Why do we have to go to this?” Bakugo asked, looking at you while you and him walked up the steps to Kirishima’s home. “We could simply celebrate at home.” He suggested which made you smile softly.

It was cold December, the hard snow scattered around the sidewalks while the streets were cleared for drivers. “We promised we’d go to her Christmas party and you’ve gotta give Shoto your gift.” You stated, knocking at the door.

“The only gift I’d possibly give him is a-“ Mina soon swung the door open, her eyes lighting up with excitement to see you two together. Even though you and Bakugo were only together for a few months now, nothings happened and you liked it. You understood if he wanted to take things slow and you weren’t going to push him into things he wasn’t ready for.

A few days ago, Mina suggested they’d have a Christmas Party at Kirishima’s place since he did have the biggest home that any man could have. Everyone agreed and someone suggested (Deku) they’d do a secret Santa. Which lead to Bakugo getting Shoto a gift, Shoto getting Momo one, and so on. Your gift was to be received from Mina and you were supposed to give Sero a gift which ended the circle.

“Y/N! You made it!” Ochako said happily, rushing towards you to give you a big hug. “It’s been a while!” She added, making you laugh softly. “Yeah, it has. How’s working? I hear you and Toga had another battle.”

“Me and that woman battle so frequently, she just gives up sometimes and puts herself in handcuffs,” Ochako responded which made you laugh at her. The party ensued, everyone talked about the rather strange moments at work or times that terrified them while sharing a nice cup of hot chocolate.

“Alright, I think it’s time we share our gifts!” Mina announced, grabbing the gifts from underneath the tree. Every gift was handled with care and was each handed out. “Alright, On three we open them!” Sero suggested.

When three was heard, wrapping paper went flying around. You glanced at your gift and looked at it in pure confusion. “Uhh, Mina?” You questioned, lifting the mistletoe from the small package. “What’s this?” You asked.

“Your gift.” She said with a smirk, noticing that you were standing next to your boyfriend. Your face began to heat up while your eyes widened in embarrassment. “Aww! Look who’s underneath the mistletoe,” Toru said, squealed.

“Alright, you c-“ your boyfriend’s sentence was silenced by the sudden kiss you gave him on his cheek. “There, see? Kiss.” You said before your face was pulled back to him. Your lips connected with his as everyone cheered.

“Come on, Bakugo!” Kirishima cheered as your two pulled away. You let out a soft sigh, trying to melt away the obvious excitement and embarrassment in the pit of your stomach. “Sorry to interrupt, but what’s this?” Shoto soon asked, holding the bottle of IcyHot in his hand. Your boyfriend grabbed your hand and smirked at his enemy.

I love Soft Saturday/Sunday! :3 I remember you posted a selfship of yourself and I wanted to try one for me lol so, here goes! It was a bit hard/weird because I don't think any of these wonderful guys would be with me ^^U It was still fun to do though!

1.) Belle x Todoroki, Shouto (Bellouto? Shoutelle? Belloroki?)

- I'd probably be very distant with Todoroki at first because of his cold demeanor. It would have to be Midoriya who would get us together.

- We would end up sitting together at the same lunch table, chatting with our group of friends. Eventually our love for noodles would bring us closer. I would buy him some different types of cold soba or even show him unique recipes to try out. If I ever see anything soba related, I'd text him and say "Look! I thought of you! It's your fave ^^"

- Once he opens up about his past, I'd probably get teary eyed and give him a big hug. I'd thank him for trusting me enough with his childhood memories and I'd also eventually open up to him about my own hardships.

- I would give him all my love without smothering him. I'd just want to show him the love and care he deserves especially since he didn't have much of it growing up.

- I think it's the little things that might make Todoroki fall for me. Things like bringing him tea when he's studying late, if he fell asleep before setting up his alarm, I'd put one on his phone and on my own just to make sure he'd wake up on time, praising/acknowledging all of his big and small accomplishments, getting his favorite food when he's sad/had a rough day, sending him cute text messages like "Good morning, handsome!" or even doing something like this:

2.) Belle x Miya, Atsumu (Bellumu? Biya? Atsubelle?)

- I'd have to have known him for a long time before we'd date. Kind of like childhood friends to lovers? If I met him at an older age, I might think he was a jerk and wouldn't want to go out with him.

- I wouldn't be afraid to call him out. Like when Atsumu is having his "if you can't hit my toss then you shouldn't be on the team" moment, I'd probably punch his arm and scold him.

- I'd have to turn it around and tell him "what if someone told you that?" or "treat others the way you want to be treated". I think he'd like that I don't treat him any different or baby him.

- Since we're childhood friends, we're already comfortable with each other. We've also seen, heard, and been through a lot together. We'd know silly small things about each other like "Atsumu always listens to this song right before a game" or "His right eye always twitches 3 times before he sneezes"

- He's seen me go through some relationships and has seen how I've acted/treated the person I'm dating. Atsumu would see that I put in a lot of effort and the stuff I'd do for my previous boyfriends. I think that would eventually make him want to ask me out. It'd be something that he might want to experience, too. Like how it would feel to hold my hand or share a loving embrace.

- When we'd get angry at each other, it could get a bit loud, but we would resolve things quickly.

- Our relationship would also be fun and full of silliness and lovely surprises. He'd do something like honk the horn right when I'm passing in front of his car to get to the passenger side. Atsumu would also surprise me with a gift that I've been eyeing or even a spontaneous trip to somewhere!

3.) Belle x Kageyama, Tobio (Bellayama? Tobelle? Kagelle?)

- We met at a mutual friend's party in college. We'd probably talk about how we were basically dragged there.

-I love to party/hang out, but when I have something to do/ a goal, I strive hard to accomplish it. (ugh, getting some PTSD from nursing school lol)

-We would end up talking about our ambitions and what we hope to end up doing in our lives. After becoming friends for a while, we'd get on the topic of relationships. We'd both want someone who is patient and understands that when we're busy, we're not ignoring them. We're studying/practicing.

-I think that is what convinces both of us to start a relationship.

-We're both busy and can get stressed out easily, but we'd know what to do to ease the stress a little. Like giving Kageyama different flavored milk cartons.

-It would look like we don't spend much time together/don't really act like a couple, but when we have free time, we'd be spending it with each other.

-We'd get our nails done together. （〃・ω・〃）

-We'd both have to think about how great it would be when we get settled with our careers and that we'd have more time to spend together. Planning future adventures/vacations is our motivation.

-Even though I'd miss Kageyama dearly, I totally understand how it feels like when you have other obligations. I'd never want to get in the way of his goal so I would do my best to support him and show my love in any way that I can and that would be something he might love about me.

First off, all three of these amazing boys would love you to pieces! You are so thoughtful and kind and they'd be foolish not to fall for you! I accept no arguments about this. 😊 This got way out of hand so... gonna put my rambling below a cut.

Let's talk Todoroki! Gonna be honest... I don't know if I trust Midoriya to play cupid 😂 Of course, meeting Todoroki through him makes sense, but you know who zeros in on how cute you two look together immediately? Yes, it's Mina! Thankfully she's not obnoxious about it, but she does have your back. She expertly manipulates every situation to give you and Todoroki a chance to interact. Somehow, thanks to her, he always ends up sitting/standing right next to you in class, at lunch, in training, on the bus, on the sofa in the common room... EVERYWHERE.

Poor boy would be so confused at first by your attention. Like, of course he doesn't mind being your friend, but nobody else texts or talks to him about his interests outside of hero stuff. He didn't even know anyone noticed he liked soba that much. And all the little things you do for him like bringing him tea or setting an alarm, he's not used to it. He doesn't hate it though. Actually, he kind of likes it. And I just want you to prepare yourself for the day when he takes the initiative and your phones lights up with a message from him for the first time with a picture of some random thing that made him think of you. *my heart would explode*

It's all downhill after that because he really likes the way you respond when he reciprocates your kindness. The flustered look on your face when he brings you some of his sister's homemade soba noodles for lunch, the cute emojis you use in your texts when he messages you first in the morning, and the shy smile you give him when he finds the courage to compliment you. He's never wanted to take care of someone the way he wants to take care of you before.

ATSUMU. You're totally right. I'm the same as you in that I would not trust this little shit for a while after meeting him. Childhood friends to lovers is nice because you there's no way you wouldn't know the real Atsumu. The idea of you knowing little personal things about each other is so cute too. Atsumu takes advantage of this and always gives the best gifts for birthdays and holidays. And he's always so excited to watch you open what he got because he KNOWS you'll love it because he knows YOU.

I'd like to say that he'd be into the fact that you treat him normally like anyone else, but something tells me he would actually expect special treatment since you two are close friends. It would surprise him a little every time you reprimand him for being rude to his teammates or fighting with his brother. He respects you more than anyone else in his life though, so he always straightens up his act just as soon as you give him that look. He hates when you're angry or annoyed at him, so of course he'll be on his best behavior for you. Honestly, he'd do anything to get positive attention from you. (He's already such a simp for you and he doesn't even realize)

He thinks he's just being a protective friend when he criticizes all your previous boyfriends. None of them are even that terrible but in his eyes, nobody treats you the way you should be treated and nobody would ever be good enough. He puts you on a pedestal to be honest. And yes, once you're together it would be full of teasing and giggles and he would absolutely take it too far and overdo it sometimes and get himself into trouble, but it's okay because you know he never means to upset you. Kageyama's turn. Oh my god! This boy would be so awkward at a college party. He'd probably just be all tall and weird standing in the corner like 😳 what's happening? Thank goodness for you, coming over to talk to him ... but wait... you're so cute... WHY are you talking to him? Now he's flustered for a different reason and he tries his best to have a normal casual conversation with you but he stumbles over his words a bit but bless your heart, you pretend not to notice and continue smiling at him. He thinks you are SO PRETTY!! omg😭

A huge weight lifts off his chest when you start talking about your goals. He knows about goals. That's easy. The look on his face is kind of scary at first because it looks like he's scowling, but he is just listening very intently to you and absorbing every single word. He almost seems like a different person when you let him talk to you about volleyball. His whole face lights up and he's talking very enthusiastically with his hands. He apologizes for ranting at you afterwards, but is also amazed that you'd stayed and let him talk so long.

Being around you IS a huge stress relief. At first he's worried about not spending enough time with you or making you think he's not interested because of his awkward mannerisms. But you're always super understanding and patient with him. Plus, you're just as busy working towards your own dreams. He supports you as much as he can just as you do for him and falling into a relationship is just really easy and natural for the two of you.

Kageyama doesn't really know how to do big extravagant dates, so just being able to take walks with you, or do activities like doing your nails together is enough to make him happy. He WANTS to do more for you though. He would never admit to this, but he actually has a small list of things he plans to do once you both have more time. He pays attention to what you might even consider silly throwaway comments like "One day we should...." or "Sometime I'd like to...." He writes it all down because even if they aren't career goals, those are still things you want which makes them very important to him.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge Day 7

Day 7: Secret Santa/ “This isn’t Christmas music.”

           Midoriya was completely ecstatic. That journal is perfect! He can probably write all his notes on heroes in this journal. A thirteen notebook of notes can fit in this journal and it probably wouldn’t be filled halfway!

           Uraraka has gifted him an All Might themed journal that is almost the size of their desk and as thick as a dictionary (or much more thick). “I know it’s a little over the top, but I figured you can use this to record all your notes and you won’t have to go through a bunch of notebooks. You can write in your notebook then transfer it here later and organize it to your liking!”

           “U-Uraraka this is so thoughtful of you. It’s amazing, I-I love it! But you really didn’t have to.

           “Oh hush, it’s the least I can do! You’ve taught me a lot.”

           “Wow, now my gift to you needs to be just as amazing.”

           “Oh you don’t have to, Deku.” But it was too late; he was already muttering a plan to look for the perfect gift for her. Uraraka then left to him to his muttering knowing that there wouldn’t be a point to get his attention at the moment.

           After a few hours of thinking, he still hasn’t figured any gift that she would like and enjoy. So he planned to observe her to get hints of what she really likes and hopefully find useful details.

           The first hint he got is that she really loves sweets; He took note of it and listed down all the sweets he knows she liked. As much as a good idea it is, he wanted to give her something that she can use for a long time.

           Midoriya thought about it and concluded that he could be her secret santa. He could give her gifts throughout the week before Christmas. That’s it!

           He then bought a large box of mochi that he’s seen her buy frequently. He wrote a note saying ‘The sweetest treat for the sweetest girl I’ve ever known. This is a gift of thanks and there are more to come.’ He signed it as secret santa and attached it to the box.

           ‘Now, only thing to do is to give it to her.’ He thought about sneaking into her room and placing it there. But the thought of him sneaking into a GIRL’S room doesn’t sit well with him. But he can’t just leave it outside her room, others might take it. It’s not that he doesn’t trust his other classmates, its just that this gift is just for her and is up to her to share it or not. He really wants to go in. He has to if he wants to give it to her, but he can’t because HE’S SNEAKING INTO HER ROOM!!!

           After the debate with himself, he decided that he’ll run in and run out. Yeah, that’s it. He can’t see her personal stuff when he’s fast. He took a deep breath and barged in her room not giving himself a chance to back out of the idea. He placed the box on her bed and quickly ran out then slammed the door shut. By the time he was out, he was tomato red and was gasping for breath.

           He dragged himself to his room and slumped ti his bed, tired of the whole ordeal. “For Uraraka” he mumbled before spacing out. He couldn’t believe he just snuck into her room.

           Midoriya was brought back to reality when he heard loud squealing from the girls’ side of the dorms. He sprinted out of the room and headed to where he thinks the squeals came from. When he got there, he saw his other classmates there. He blushed once he saw them in front of Uraraka’s room and all the girls in there.

           “W-what happened?”

           “Uraraka received a gift. Came here to check out if everything’s fine, turns out she has a secret santa.” Kirishima informed him

           Kaminari was quick to butt in the conversation and said “Or she has a secret admirer.”

           ‘Secret admirer?’ Midoriya thought. It took quite a while for the word to sink into him and by the time he did, he was blushing as red as Kirishima’s hair. He carefully walked out of the scene and headed to his room.

           ‘Secret admirer?’ Secret admirer?’ he thought while walking back ‘Secret admirer, secret admirer, secret admirer? SECRET ADMIRER??!!’ he was now running to his room. When he got there, he slammed the door shut and slid down it curling into a ball.

           ‘Secret admirer? What the heck? It was a gift from a secret santa not a secret admirer.’ He fidgeted with his shirt while lost in thought ‘Secret admirers give gifts to their CRUSH! I gave Uraraka a gift because she’s my friend. I don’t have a crush on her. Wait, do I? NO! Maybe?’

           “AHHH!” he screamed in confusion

           Later, there was a bang on his door “SHUT UP!”

           “K-kacchan? Sorry!”

           Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida were having a group study when Uraraka got a call from her parents. “Ah, excuse me guys I gotta take this.” She said walking out of Iida’s room.

           “Uraraka’s got an old phone, doesn’t she?” Midoriya pointed out

           “Yes. She actually has mentioned that she got it at the start of her middle school.”

           “Woah, that old?”

           Iida nodded “And it definitely shows its age.”

           Midoriya then quickly took note of it. After their group study, he headed straight for his room and started searching his drawers. His mother got him a new phone as a reward for all his accomplishment that year thus resulting in him not being able to use his other phone which he owned for not even for a year. He finally found the old phone and is still in pristine condition. He opened the phone to check if there’s anything that needs fixing and found it fine. Then he remembered giving the phone a factory reset when he got his new phone.

           He put the phone back in the box it came from when he bought it then wrote a note. ‘Hello! I’m gonna go straight ad tell you that this is not a new phone, but it is still in excellent condition. I’m giving this to you because you seem to need it more than me. This was my old phone. But don’t worry, I reset it and it’s good as new. Please don’t shy away from this gift. I hope you use it.’ And signed it secret santa before attaching the note to the box.

           Long story short, the same situation occurred when he placed the gift in her room. It ended the same; him slumped on his bed, incredibly flustered. He wasn’t even surprised when he heard the girls squeal. It’s a phone. Who wouldn’t freak out when someone had gifted you a phone? And from someone unknown no less.

           Midoriya’s heart fluttered when he saw Uraraka use the phone he gave her. He was happy that he gave her something very useful. But he also felt sad, because he wasn’t able to figure out anything to give her next. He hasn’t heard something she’d like from her. He was struggling. So much so that he wasn’t able to focus on the meeting Iida and Momo held for decorating the tree.

           But he was brought back to reality with what Uraraka said “How about butterflies? Anything can look prettier with butterflies on them!”

           “Yeah! They’re tiny and colourful.” Toru added

           “That is a nice idea but there no butterflies during winter.” Momo informed

           “Ehehe, just a suggestion.”

           “Midoriya how about—“Iida was about to ask but stopped himself when he saw him furiously writing on his notebook.

           Toru shivered—or at least assumed she shivered judging from her shaking clothes. “G-g-gosh it sure is cold today.”

           “Momo brought in a lot of teas, why don’t we try it out?” Mina suggested

           “Sure, I love tasting new teas.” Uraraka said immediately getting Midoriya’s attention who quickly took note of her statement.

           That’s two hints and zero gifts. He has to act fast. Christmas is just right around the corner.

           Today he visited his mother at their home. And at the moment, he was sitting in front of a dining table waiting for the tea his mother was preparing. And Inko being his mother, she quickly figured out that something was wrong.

           “Izuku, what’s got you down?” she asked placing the tea in front of him.

           He sighed and figured that it wouldn’t hurt to tell his mother. “Well, I wanted to give this girl a gift but I can’t seem to find the perfect one.”

           “Oh” she said in realization on the predicament her son was in. She was about to think of a response until she saw the butterfly he was doodling while lost in thought.

           “You know, a butterfly means ‘I like you’ right?”

           “W-what?! I—uh” he looked at his drawing then back at his mother “I-it’s not like that! She said she liked butterflies and I figured she wouldn’t mind receiving a gift with butterflies…” he rambled while his mother kept a wide smile on her face. She knows there’s something that he hasn’t realized it yet and she promised herself to let him realize it himself. “A-anyway, it’s not like that at all.” He finished then took a sip of his tea. ‘Uraraka would love to try it’ he thought as he indulged in the tea’s flavour.

           “Wow, your candy cane tea sure is one of a kind. I wish you made it everyday.”

           “Now, now Izuku. You know it’s tradition—“

           “CANDY CANE TEA!” he exclaimed in realization

           “P-pardon me?”

           “Mom, please give me the tea mix you used for this. I’m gonna give it to a friend!”

           Inko just smiled and handed to her son. When he got back to the dorms, he quickly wrote a note. ‘Hello, me again. I heard that you love trying out new teas so I figured to give you one of my favourites. It’s one of a kind and I really hope you love it.’ He attached the note on the box containing the loose tea leaves, and put it in her room.

           We all know how that went.

           Later, he found the girls swooning on the story Uraraka was telling them. When the familiar smell of candy cane hit his nose, he already has a guess on what story she was telling.

           When thinking on what gift to give her in relation to butterflies, he decided to go simple. A butterfly barrette with rhinestones in different shades of pink. He thought about the meaning behind the butterfly and considered they thought of him possibly liking her. It’ll take time, but hopefully it won’t take long for him to figure it out.

           Christmas day came fast. He suddenly found himself alone with Uraraka. “Hey, u-um…I have a—here” he shoved the box in front of her. She opened it and he was completely relieved she liked it. There was a note in it which she read out loud.

           “Hello. I hope you like this barrette. I heard you say that anything can look prettier with a butterfly on them and I know that you’ll look prettier with this barrette on you. Signed your secret santa.” She looked at him surprised with the revelation.

           “I-I h-heard or my m-mom told me that a butterfly means ‘I like you’ and—um”

           “Deku?”

           “Merry Christmas!” he said before running off

           The next day, he saw a pink butterfly origami attached to his door with the note “Thank you for everything – Uraraka Ochaco”

Ohohohohohohoho I’m glad you both asked about Kirishima’s pack cause boy do I have answers - okay first things first, Kirishima is only dating Bakugou and he’s the only wolf shifter in the pack (well, Mina is also a shifter, just not a wolf shifter)

In the AU pack dynamics are loosely based on how wolf packs work in the wild: in nature usually there’s an alpha couple (the “alpha male” and his mate) and the rest of the pack is made out of their pups! So by all means it’s just a family unit - once the pups are old enough to fend for themselves they leave the “pack” to form their own family - they’re social animals, so they need a pack to be happy and safe, and that reflects in the AU too. In this universe though it’s pretty normal for wolf shifters to date/marry non-shifters or shifters of other kinds, and when that happens the resulting kids might or might not have shifting abilities, which results in the process of forming a pack being a bit all over the place

In Kirishima’s case, he was born by two non-shifters who had shifter blood in them - as a wolf shifter his wolf side needed a pack to feel well (let’s say, other wolves to play with and learn from and so on) so as a kid he used to spend a lot of time with Fat and Amajiki (both wolf shifters!) who acted as a surrogate pack for the wolf in him - now he’s old enough to have his own pack tho! And while ideally that would mean he builds his own family with another wolf shifter, he ended up falling for Bakugou, who’s a non-shifter and a man, which means the family plan sorta went down the drain. His wolf still needs a pack to be happy tho, and that ended up meaning he latched onto Mina (a childhood friend) and Kaminari and Sero (Bakugou’s close friends) who by this point are as close to him as if they were actual family.

So in theory Kirishima’s wolf side sees the pack as himself and Bakugou as the alpha couple and Mina, Sero and Kaminari as the “pups” - practically though Kirishima’s human side has a perfect grasp on his wolf’s instincts, so all in all it ends up just being five pals loving each other like family, no power imbalance at all (…he does get clingy after his pack members spend time with people outside of the pack, but he doesn’t ever try to stop them from socializing outside of the group and cuddles and general close proximity are all he needs to make his wolf feel better!)

…as you can see, I spent more time on this AU than strictly necessary haha

Other times it might also be that the asker’s first language isn’t English and in their tongue the wording is appropriate while it ends up sounding rude in English, how could I know, translating nounces isn’t easy! So I always assume you mean well, being rude wouldn’t solve anything but make the asker feel bad

Thank you for the compliment on my writing, by the way (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) it’s been a while since I’ve written any narrative so maybe it’s not fair to use the term on myself, but I’m a writer maybe more than I’m an artist (in the sense that writing has always come to me way easier than drawing does, I just find drawing more rewarding in a short time frame) so knowing my words are still coming out well enough is always nice!! (｡’▽’｡)♡

Was that just the moment’s adrenaline making him able to keep going, or did he actually get rid of the cooldown? If he did he doesn’t have a drawback anymore!!! You go my small rock son!!!!

(Kaminari and Sero cause they’re friends, Shouji and Tsuyu cause the resulting fusions are the only two Mineta fusions with no sexual tendencies at all. They just. Suppress that side of Mineta completely) He’s more or less stable with another few in the class, but the only perfectly stable ones are those four!

Uhmmm lemme see if I know how to word this properly… it is true that I ship every possible couple out of the four of them, and it’s also true that I ship the ot3 separately too (though I always prefer it if Kiri and Baku are together for ~otp reasons~ haha) and I guess I don’t mind the ot4 either? They give me a warm feeling and I love to think about them happy and together all flopped over each other and being affectionate and loving, but all of this can happen with them being in a really close frienship too, right? And I generally prefer them in that sort of relationship

The reason why is mostly that… how do I put this, every couple and trio have their own very singular dynamics, right? Bakugou and Kirishima’s relationship is gonna be different from Bakugou and Sero’s or Sero’s and Kirishima’s or Kaminari and Kirishima’s, they all have different moods and different feelings and so on, which means that they will have different ways in which they’ll develop too, I don’t know if you’re following me. I’m not saying that it’s impossible for all four of them to develop romantic feelings towards all the other three at the same time starting from such different relationships, it’s completely possible and that’s why I don’t mind the ot4 at all, but when I have such a huge playground to enjoy so many different friendships and relationships and dynamics, boiling them all down to the same “they’re romantically into each other” cuts a lot of the fun, for me!

So tl;dr what I mean is that I don’t mind the ot4 and I might draw for it in the future, but it’s more entertaining for me to pick a couple/ot3 and see how the other dynamics shift because of it then just put them all in the same relationship!

Also, I’m a fan of the idea of the four of them ending up being overly affectionate and tactile with each other anyway, so in the end romance or not what’s missing is just the kisses, isn’t it? I don’t draw n sfw anyway haha

Bakugou has the hardest time coming up with birthday presents, presents are just Not A Thing He Does, he tries but it’s just ???? I mean think back to how he tried to cheer Kirishima up, that boy is so damn awkward - that said, given how all his friends gave him something he felt the need to show them he could reciprocate, so this is what he came up with: 

Sero’s actual tastes in material possessions are a total mystery for everyone, they make absolutely no sense, but what Bakugou KNOWS is that the fucker likes to eat his greens, so that’s what he did for him - he cooked the healthiest and tastiest meal he could manage to make, spent a whole damn lot of time researching it too, and Sero was honestly so touched (he loved it)

Jirou got a offer to go with her to a concert she couldn’t find anyone to go with - she hadn’t outright asked anyone, but it was clear she wanted to go but not alone - the band was too much for all of her friends, so she was sorta letting the idea of going go. Which is when Bakugou offhandedly mentioned that he’d heard there was the one gig from that one band and he was thinking of going since he liked that band and whatever she wanted to come or something? Bakugou had just spent the last day and a half listening to the band’s discography for the sake of making it believable and Jirou saw right through him (she didn’t mention it) (but man Bakugou could be seriously nice couldn’t he)

Mina’s present was to actually agree to go to her party. That was it. Mina’s parties are the opposite of Bakugou’s ideal place to spend a whole night at, they’re loud, and there’s drinking, and dancing, and the whole school is invited and it’s packed, so when she asked him to come she never thought he’d actually agree to go and stay the whole night, but boy did he. He also let her pick his outfit (Mina recognized the effort for the present it was. She was delighted)

Kaminari got a shopping trip - it went like this: Bakugou mentioned he was going to the mall, which always ends up with Kaminari tagging along just to go window shopping. So he stopped in front of the windows, pointed at stuff, made noises about the deals, and Bakugou went “wait here” and then went in and bought whatever Kaminari had been excited about. It happened four times before Kaminari caught on, and then Bakugou literally had to threaten him to make him stop holding back “I’m deciding I wanna do this so I’m doing this” (he still held back, but by the end of it Kaminari had actually whined the sentence “Bakugou please” pointing at yet another jacket or shirt of necklace way more than once) (he was so damn happy he didn’t even think about how he had absolutely no space for everything he’d just bought to fit in his room)

Kirishima was the hardest one (pun intended). Kirishima was actually so difficult Bakugou spent months thinking about what to get him and came up empty handed anyway. He was so damn complicated that Bakugou sucked up his pride and straight out asked him what he wanted for his birthday. “I don’t want to fuck this up”, he said, and Kirishima smiled so hard and so wide and so bright, it felt like enough of a present for him just hearing that. He told him he wanted to spend the day with him, so they did that - studied, sparred, ate, hung with the others. Bakugou didn’t think it was enough of a present since honestly it felt like any other day, but Kirishima was happy, so he guessed it was fine (he found and bought a super rare super expensive Crimson Riot figure to gift him anyway) (Kirishima cried)

No probs, just, I can’t draw right now cause of hand-problems so you’ll have to make do with me telling you where they are? Also that’s just how I went for it in that drawing, it’s nothing set in stone, really, I keep on adding and moving them around every time I draw them

The only scars Bakugou has there are on his palms - cover the whole of it and reach a bit on the inside of his wrist too, they’re burn scars and come from overusing his quirk one too many times. Kirishima’s got more - aside from the canon eye one he’s got one on the left side of his mouth, one on each forearm in the same spots he’s been hurt in the latest chapter, and one covering most part of his upper back (this one he got protecting civilians with his own body too often and breaking one time too many)

I drew her fused with Todoroki once!! And yeah half of their body was invisible, but whether that happens when she fuses with others depends on who she’s fusing with - for example if she fused with Mashirao or Tsuyu, they’d turn up being completely invisible too because their quirks would just sum up,while with someone like... say, someone like Bakugou for example, I think the invisibility would affect the quirk and not the body itself, as in what’s invisible would be the explosions, they’d probably be ultrasounds based instead of nitroglycerin... anyway that’s beyond the point, their body would be fully visible and they’d be a mix of Baku and what Tooru looks like when visible, which is why I never really drew her fused with anyone that wasn’t Todoroki? His being perfectly split in half made it easier, but until I know what Hagakure looks like I can’t mix her characteristics with anyone else haha
