I just gotta point out that marvel television is actually really really good in the diversity department, cause ive heard it get a bad rep on that in the past for some reason.
i mean you have agents of shield, where over half the cast is either female, people of color, or middle-aged with tons of overlap between them, all with their own deep and layered backstories, interests, and issues,
jessica jones, which has a female mc who is also one of the best representations for mental health issues ive seen,
luke cage, who is a black man tackling issues in a black neigborhood,
daredevil, which is about a blind man,
agent carter, which has a female main character and tackles issues of sexism in the 50ies,
and then runaways and cloak and dagger, which also feature very diverse casts and queer representation. and throughout all of these shows you also have various different nationalities for the characters.
the only show where they really missed the mark is ironfist, but even there you have colleen wing. so yeah, just to throw that out there. marvel tv actually slaps, even if there are issues in execution sometimes.
