You're close to tears, the pictures and tiny print in front of you blurring.

"Are you okay?"

"No," you sniff, shoulders tense, rubbing your eyes. "No, I'm not."

You don't look over, don't want to see Kuroo lounging in the doorframe the way he likes to do. 

Not when you’re beaten down like this, not at all able to match his attitude.

The door closes with a click and you sigh, not ready to deal with the fact that him leaving hurts a little more than knowing he’s watching you lose your mind. 

The scraping of a chair over the floor pulls you out of your thoughts and you look up, surprised to see him settle down next to you.

“Okay, where are we?” His sleeves are pushed up, a look you think should be forbidden - at least on him - and his smile is soft, not cheeky.

“What are you doing?”

“What does it look like?” Kuroo has the gall to flutter his eyelashes at you. “I’m studying.”

“With me?”

“Do you see anybody else?”

Your elbow meets his side and he has the decency to fake being wounded.

“Let me check your notes for a second. Have you had something to drink? Water, I mean?”

“Yes, Mom,” you roll your eyes but accept the bottle of water he offers you.

Maybe you should question this, your academic rival helping you out.

But it’s a lot nicer to just take what he gives.

You can worry about the implications later.

[Assume all links in this first paragraph are 18+] Aside from stuff that I haven't posted here, I still quite like this one which ticks both boxes, or at least ticks one and is extremely suggestive of the other. This one is also one that I still like and I plan to revisit the idea behind it later to fix some stuff and add it to the timeline when I get there. These two are also nice and sweet.

Do you want to share something with us about a WIP you are excited about? 💗

I have a sweet and smutty drabble with Tyler taking the reader stargazing. It's just a little oneshot that I've had for a while but keep forgetting to go back and finish.

It’s a crisp spring evening, and the night sky, a deep shade of black, is scattered with stars. Tyler is warm and solid behind you, his legs bracketing yours. You sip from the hot cocoa he took from the hotel lobby—it’s a little watery but you still appreciate the effort he put in. It warms your cool hands and helps when a strong gust of wind ruffles the nest of blankets and pillows in the bed of the truck.

“You alright?” His voice is a low murmur in your ear and you hum in response. 

“I’m perfect. This is perfect, Tyler.”

“Mmm, I’ve got to keep you happy, or you might start thinking there are better options than me,” Tyler says, pulling the blanket up and gently rubbing your arms.

“Oh like those Storm Par guys? Scott’s kinda cute,” you tease, delighted when Tyler huffs and gives your leg a playful tap. “I’m just kidding. I’ve only got eyes for you,” you add, holding up your hand to admire the modest diamond ring he gave you weeks ago.

He grins. “You’ll be an Owens soon and then you’re stuck with me.”

Winter Song is my 100 word drabble series for Jonsa. I love, love, love writing this series! I mean, 100 word drabbles are some of my favorite writing exercises in general (I have 3 ongoing series of them across 3 fandoms), but Winter Song is special in that it's ship specific, whereas my other two were general/open fandom series.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

You

"You think I want to leave?" he bellows, stalking toward her.

Sansa stands her ground, face fierce in its defiance, tongue coiled in readiness.

Dragonstone is a fool's errand, a brittle hope – a death sentence. He goes even still.

Jon advances on her, until she sees the whites of his eyes, the tremble to his snarl.

"You think I want to leave my home and my people and you – Sansa – " He chokes on the name, halting, voice breaking. "You," he says, breath winded from him.

You.

Like a gasp of air.

Like a secret he never meant to tell.

Look Back

Look back, she thinks.

Sansa's hands curl around the rail, snow falling soft on her knuckles - bunched white beneath her leather gloves. Her lips part. Words wither at the end of her tongue.

Down in the courtyard, Jon is mounting his horse, the heavy, hand-woven cloak she'd made him cutting a blunt silhouette in the morning light - like a stubborn shadow.

Look back, she begs, the sound brewing in her throat.

His silhouette stills, shifts - his shadow bending against the dawn's light, turning.

A sound breaks from her lips not unlike a whimper.

Look back, she keens.

And he does.

Pop

I'm assuming this is for the writing game? Pop it is!

Six of the nine Links hovered behind Malon's form, watching the stove intently. An iron pan sat over the flame and soon enough, it started to pop and crackle.

All six links flinched which made it extremely hard to keep down the wide grin that was currently plastered into the red heads lips.

"It's supposed to do that?" Hyrule asked cautiously. He almost seemed scared, acting as if the pan would explode. Which, well, it does kind of sound like it's going to.

Malon just nodded and continued glancing between the boys who were all enraptured with the scene before them. After a few moments, the pan was removed and the contents inside were poured into a large bowl with some salt sprinkled overtop.

"Alright m'dears, eat up." Malon encouraged. A moment of silence passes before Wind eagerly digs into the bowl, scooping up a handful and shoving some in his mouth.

"Woah, This stuff is weird but really good. Go on, try some." He hands a few pieces to Wild and Four who were right next to him. They both inspect it before tasting it themselves. As expected by Malon, their reactions are nothing short of amazed.

Sky, Legend and Hyrule dig in shortly after, all just as pleased. "What did you call this stuff again?" The Veteran asked while tossing a few more pieces in his mouth.

"It's called popcorn. It's exactly what it sounds like. Somethin' new that's been float'in around." Malon answers with a smile while grabbing a couple pieces for herself. It's honestly adorable how something as simple as this could astound the great heroes of Hyrule themselves

hmm okay so all my active wips atm are zine pieces i cant show, so this is more of an abandoned wip tbh. a while ago i wanted to make a few drawings of like, different scenes in Cleos kitty cafe (first one is the PET group, then Bdubs & Impulse going over plans for the city, and the last one would've been a neighbourhood meeting). i still like the idea and maybe ill try again at some point but then id probably start over completely cause these wips just werent working out lol :P
