not to be a woman womaning all over the place but i feel like if you genuinely like. do not have friends that are women then you have something to work on. if you cant think of any female characters that you treat the same way you do male characters then you have something to work on. if you cant handle even seeing "i dont like being called a guy/bro/lad/etc because it doesnt feel gender neutral to me" but can understand when one of your masc besties is uncomfortable with being called girlie or sister then you have something to work on. if your default in regards to how you handle other people and even characters is to assume masculinity then you have something to work on. if you cant even let women and otherwise feminine people speak about our experiences without bringing up how you suffer too then you have something to work on.

it doesnt matter if youre queer or a poc or a minority in whatever which way, if you do not include women in your life and cant even stand a fucking inch of genuine feminism (and i dont mean terfs but god is it fucking agonizing that thats all you people can think of when you hear feminism anymore) where the point is to treat women, all women, equally then you have something to work on. listen to women, even the ones whose experiences completely dont align with yours (hell ESPECIALLY the ones whose experiences completely dont align with yours). just like how we all have to check ourselves for racism, ableism, queerphobia, we all have to check ourselves for misogyny too. stop acting like it got solved at some point. it still exists and it exists within you and you have to actually fucking work on that. "women should be included in your life and you should listen to them" shouldnt be a hard goddamn pill to swallow.

what has ruined the mcu in my opinion is that i feel like they used to have creative people make the movies they wanted to make with a few tiny little notes from one guy with a plan about characters or events or concepts they should briefly mention and now they feel like they were made entirely by executives who just crunched the numbers on what made the most money and shit out movie after movie after movie desperately asking "do you like this?? is this what you like???? you like doctor strange right what if we put doctor strange in this movie will you like it will you go see it will you give us money please please please give us money". and i will not because they're not making movies anymore they're making content.

Yay! Little sneak peak of this Sunday's chapter of Til Death Do Us Part.

Since I write very out of order, I actually wrote this interaction way back at the beginning before I even started posting anything. Like, sorry, but no one can convince me that Astarion wouldn't take advantage of every situation like this to be a little shit. That's who is and I love that about him!

You’re sure that you've never been more happy to be home before and you're desperate to be inside. As you walk from the stables back toward the manor, you find yourself fantasizing about how wonderful it will feel to lie down on your bed, even if you don’t need sleep anymore. 

Lifting your foot, you move to step over the entryway. Except, you’re stuck. It’s as if there’s some sort of invisible wall barring you from entry. 

Of course, because vampires can’t enter a residence without permission.

Astarion’s got a little smirk on his face as he stands in the hallway, looking back at you stuck outside. 

“I’m waiting for you to ask nicely, little flower,” he teases. 

“Can I come inside?” You spit out through gritted teeth.

Astarion looks like he’s considering it for a minute before he frowns. “Not nice enough, try again.”

“Oh, beloved husband, can I please come into our house?” You ask, voice dripping with sarcasm. But you plaster a sweet smile on your face at the end and Astarion seems to have had his fun with you, anyway. 

“Welcome home, darling. Please, do come inside. You’re keeping everyone waiting,” Astarion says, sweeping into an overdramatic, elegant bow.

You make sure to shove his shoulder with your own when you pass him.

My probably-bad college student confession is that I actually kind of love being in a deadbeat project group where I'm the only one pulling any weight. Like, YES. PLEASE. Surrender control to me. Let me ensure we all pass this. Do the bare minimum, I don't fucking care, as long as I can make sure we all pass this assignment. I'd much rather be in control (albeit control everyone else shoved on me, and they're lucky I'm happy about this) and pulling everyone else along than be stuck in a power struggle where everyone wants control and to assign shit and to argue about it endlessly.

no cause i have more to say about xdh band. i get this is a kpop band so they have different standards for what each member of the band is supposed to do. but classically........ rock for the last 80 years has had a very common formula of 1-2 lead singers. if it's one, they likely aren't even playing an instrument. by having all of them sing, they have to stay at their stations which makes for veryyyy little movement on screen. and if you know anything about a band, you already have like two players who will likely remain in their places (bass, drums) for the entirety of the set. so if you want Any movement, which kpop does, you're going to get it from the guitarists and the lead singer. and when you have all your players who are also lead singers in one place the whole time... that's weird, do you get how that's weird
