I've kinda thought about that as well. It's like, Man. No one even cares about this ship or this character (Raine) so how do people now care enough to nitpick and manufacture outrage?

I would get it if I was an actual gross person, but I'm constantly vocally against anything genuinely bad (sexualizing kid characters, how fandoms including this one treats non-white characters, exc).

And I KNOW those people know this because those same people either outright follow me or lurk though my accounts (I see them in my notifications enough to recognize them)

I've seen much more popular artists draw borderline to straight up problematic content and people continue to support them and share their art around. Do you SEE the kinda things drawn of TOH ships involving the kids?

I could sympathize to an extent if you're looking for Raeda/Raine content and I'm the only one who pops up when you don't like my content. But I am one artist, not even a popular one, that you can easily block.

Also I gotta deal with bigots mad I drew a trans character and now progressive people are mad at me for drawing that trans character too? You're supposed to be on my side 🤕

opposite of dog motif but i have an obsession with CAT motif. treated as aggressive and bad as you grow up and always on ur own bc people think you want to be on your own or don't want to be near you out of fear of you lashing out, but over time being domesticated and affectionate when you find the right people to be around but despite all of the good things you've settled in to there's still that underlying aggression from growing up as an outlier and the one nobody wanted to be around

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐘𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐃 𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐄. waiting for a punch that never comes. the grip on the fabric of his hoodie loosens, causing him to stumble to his knees. blue eyes frantically stare at the concrete as the man who'd been the source of his pain tries to weasel his way out of the consequences. go figure. casper had almost slipped out of the man's grasp. he was smaller, more agile than most humans. but the man had snatched his hoodie just before he could make a break for it. something about money which made casper want to laugh. would he be wearing these tattered clothes if he had any money ? but humans are all the same, casper had come to realize.

the man's presence is gone now and a breath exits his lungs. it hurts a little. a hand comes into view and the hybrid is reluctant to take it but, they're not exactly in the position to refuse help. luckily his hood had managed to stay on his head through the attack. someone spotting his abnormalities is the last thing he needs. the man before his towers over the space and casper swallows, feeling awkward now.

oh but it's okay if you get carried away just this once, you're still a dog after all.. sometimes you need to be reminded who's in charge and that's alright! i might have to be mean and make you sit still though. i'm sure you'd enjoy it a little bit if i made you into my toy and. as good as you are if you get carried away i can't reward it by using you (not yet at least)... there's plenty of time for that later, once you've remembered who is in charge :3

whether it’s the way you bare your teeth when backed in a corner, your loyalty, or your tendency to act on instinct, your reoccurring theme is the dog.

like mitski said “i get mean when im nervous, like a bad dog” or how halsey said “i won’t smile but i’ll show you my teeth” even when migos said “dance with my dogs in the night time” the essence of the dog runs through you. you’re tough and a quick draw on the outside, but if we got down to it we’d see you’re acting the only way you’ve ever known how. it doesn’t make you bad, survival is natural, your loyalty and determination is commendable.

i don’t blame you for the way you act when your back is against a wall, but please remember to not bite the hand that feeds.

Lucretia was, as usual, sitting at the large dining table with nothing but a glass of red “wine” and today’s newspapers. She did enjoy sharing her breakfasts with Coriolanus, but of course, she did not need to eat. Not food, at least. 

She was reading the economics section, her glass in hand. Lost in a particularly interesting article about the rising of coal’s value, she almost didn’t notice the way her descendant was staring at her. Oh, it was subtle, she’d grant him that. He was, as always, careful. But her senses were too sharp for her to miss the discreet glances shot her way. 

“What is it, Coriolanus?” she asked, putting the newspaper back on the table, “if there is something you wish to tell me, out with it.”

maybe he should have just said something, that the touching was becoming overwhelming, too much for him to handle. physical contact for casper had been reserved for experiments, needles and punishments. such kind hands never were his experience. the hybrid's face scrunches, pulling back quickly before small fangs snap down onto the other's hand. white brows are furrowed, at first glaring up at daejeon. then it occurs to him what exactly he's doing and casper lets go, expression falling. he'd bit him . . . the one man who had been kind to him since he'd gotten lost. mixed emotions cause casper to huff, turning to face away from daejeon.
