How Are You Ruined?
Tumblr media
ruined by trauma.
you cannot get over the past. you are constantly remembering, never forgetting. you cant live in the moment because the moment is not what brought you here. you are birthed, raised, and killed in the past. you will never get over what was done to you, be it big or be it small. you cannot escape what you refuse to confront.

Kingdom Hearts IV predictions:
Kairi is the leader of a team consisting of Riku, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Roxas, Xion, Lea, Naminé, Hayner, Pence, Olette, and Chirithy.
Sora’s mother returns.
While Donald and Goofy revisit the old worlds, Sora visits all of the new ones.
The inhabitants of each world returning from the previous games are, of course, thrilled to see Donald and Goofy again, but are sad to hear about Sora’s sacrifice.

Radiator Springs/Rusteze-Dinoco Racing Center/Fireball Beach/Thunder Hollow/Thomasville/Florida International Speedway (Cars)
Takes place after Cars 3.
It isn’t combat based. Missions include keeping up with McQueen’s top speed by racing down Radiator Springs’ main street, learning how to turn right to go left at Willy’s Butte, keeping up with Cruz’s top speed on Fireball Beach, avoiding pushy competitors with the Thunder Hollow challengers, and practicing with Cruz at Thomasville, culminating in the Piston Cup race at Florida International Speedway, where the objective is to win against Jackson Storm.
Sora enters the world as a custom-made sports coupe mixing a few real-life sports car models before visits to Luigi’s Casa Della Tires and Ramone’s House of Body Art end with him modified into a next-gen race car sponsored by Dinoco (with Tex’s blessing) and with Cruz’s number.
It’s set during Cruz’s first Piston Cup racing season, so McQueen still has Doc’s colors and spends the Florida race as Sora’s crew chief.
As Sora finishes his story, Mater is certainly unhappy with Xehanort’s actions forcing Sora’s hand. “That dad-gum Xehanort”, he says angrily. Extra points if Sora doesn’t get to the part where Xehanort is dead, then Sarge gets in his face and demands him to teach Xehanort a lesson when he gets back in a militaristic manner. “Is that understood,” Sarge yells. Then Sora tries to correct him, but gets cut off and asked again, “Is that understood,” and has to respond, “Sir, yes, sir!”
Of course, during the top speed races, Luigi is the one to signal the race to begin.
In the Radiator Springs race, Sora’s top speed is tracked by Sheriff’s speed radar, and on Fireball Beach, it’s via Cruz’s personal assistant, Hamilton.
If you fail the “Turn Right to go Left” mission, Sora goes flying into the bed of cacti, and Mater fishes him out.
I know I’ll get hate for this, but Cars 2 elements are here. Heck, maybe Mater can’t be present most for the training because he’s busy with Finn and Holley. After all, does he still owe Holley a first date?
I wanted the player character in this world to be Kairi just so Storm can feel the embarrassment of losing to not one, but two “costume girls”.
The Piston Cup race is announced as a 500-lap race, but no game developer is that malicious to force the player to race 500 laps around an oval, so they’d take after the first Cars game and make it twelve laps with the sun slowly lowering throughout the race.

Note
I’d like to ask #7 from the choose violence ask game for The Untamed!
7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?
This tends to happen with most extremely popular characters or pairings for me, to be honest. Back in the KH days, it was Axel and Roxas. For the Untamed, it's WangXian.
I probably dislike some 90% of the WangXian content that comes across my dash, and always find myself pleasantly surprised whenever I return to the source material and remember that I actually really like them in canon.
Also, sadly, Mo Xuanyu. I was fairly neutral to him in canon, but the way the comparative blank slate of him has grown to become a thin veneer of canon over what's really endless OCs/self-inserts (no yucking on others' yums, but those things are not for me) has led to me effectively avoiding any fanworks with him in them.
Maybe Nie Huaisang, to some extent, too. I don't vibe with the vast majority of fandom interpretations I've seen, alas.

I was sooooo tempted to make something spooky, but... I ended up realizing that I really, really, really like this particular official art. It has a watercolor sort of vibe, so I decided to roll with it. I'm quite proud of this.
Oh, wait! There is more surprises down below!
Wanna take a peek?
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
Tumblr media
I know Shinji isn't one of your main muses, but... I can't just answer this without throwing Shinji. Not my best works, but Shinji deserves something.
Tumblr media
Sudden Roxas is sudden. He looks WAAAAAAY too much of a badass right now. I might've been proud of how Sora turned out, but... Making one for Roxas ended up quickly making me realize who won this battle. I'm lowkey jealous of how this one turned out. Roxas takes the cake in my book.
I have a lot of feelings about Roxas, Axel, and Xion since 358/2 Days was my first Kingdom Hearts game. It was a wild and confusing ride since I just clearly threw myself into the Kingdom Hearts story. Naturally, I had to start with the Organization 13 game. Anyway, I am really proud of this icon thingy. The mood, colors, and everything is something that I really love. I'm a bit jealous over how Roxas looks soooooo good right now.
LOOK AT HIM, NEG!!!
Anyway.
I hope that you enjoy all of these!!
These are mostly aimed to be used as a profile icon for the dash and what not, but... You can totally use these for your carrd or anything else for your blog. Feel free to use all of these however you want!

"Get To Know Me” Tag Game! Thank you for tagging me @andiforyou, I haven't done one of these in years and it was so fun to have this land in my inbox! 💖🤩
Fave Ships: Nandermo is my OTP, hands down. But I also enjoy Mulder/Scully, Stede/Blackbeard, David/Patrick, and a smattering of other smaller pairings which I'll occasionally read fic for.
First Ship: oh wow. I shipped Axel/Roxas from KH for a period of time! Bilbo/Thorin was also big for me about a decade ago.
Last Song: Phoebe Bridgers - Kyoto
Currently Reading: A metric ton of wwdits fic. Follow me for my recs, I reblog updates to some of my favourite fics constantly. Non-fic stuff would include me trying to read Interview With The Vampire but not having found the time yet. Probably because of all the fic.
Last Movie: I watched Shrek 2 and immediately had to change my profile pic to Prince Charming in the drive thru.
Currently Watching: I'm a rewatch queen who is always watching wwdits, but I also love other comedies like The After Party and Stath Lets Flats.
Consuming: Indian food <3 The best.
Currently Working On: I just finished a fic! Please read it, I'll love you forever. It's a Nandermo one-shot, rated E.
If you’re reading this and would like to join, please feel free! Tagging some neato folks from discord and/or whose stuff I really love seeing on my dash and in my inbox: @shamebats @abc-mulan @angelicgarnet @badgerswake @ineffably-human Participation is totally optional of course <3

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix Recap: Hollow Bastion (Gathering Shadows)
Upon reaching the world map, you are greeted by Chip and Dale (your mission control in the first game) who are happy to once again help you with flying the Gummi Ship.
After that brief greeting is done, the camera pans over to the only other world available right now
“Only one?” Sora questions.
“That’s no good!” Donald comments.
“Wait! I think it’s a world we know!” Goofy points out.
The only currently available world is Hollow Bastion.
Unlike the first game, you can freely fly around the world map in your Gummi Ship, though it’s currently incredibly boxed in, even if the next worlds you’ll unlock are visible (yet concealed in shadow).
Also, you don’t need to go through an on-the-rails shooter segment this time, AND you can dash for an extra boost in speed.
If you lock onto a world and push the Dash button, the Gummi Ship will jump straight to that world.
Finally, instead of a vague star rating, the Battle Level instead shows the recommended level Sora should be at when visiting that world, giving a much clearer picture of what you’re going to be up against.
With nowhere to go but forward, you’ve gotta disembark at Hollow Bastion.
We open on Pete calling out to Maleficent in a dark room, the exterior being a castle adorned by the Heartless Emblem.
When nobody answers, he wonders if the heroes actually did finish her off.
His moping is interrupted by the arrival of Maleficent’s Raven.
Meanwhile, a bustling town has sprung to life in the area surrounding Hollow Bastion’s castle.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy are impressed with how Hollow Bastion’s recovered and wonder how the Traverse Town Gang are doing.
Then Goofy sights a couple of Soldiers on a nearby rooftop, but they vanish through Corridors of Darkness before they can react.
Welcome to Hollow Bastion, your home base for this game.
You start in the Marketplace, which has three shops:
Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s Item Shop sells Items, Accessories, and Weapons. And Item Shops in this game carry items from other Item Shops you’ve visited, so you can buy all the same Items, Accessories, and Weapons that were available in Twilight Town. This shop also adds Ethers to the menu.
Wedge from Final Fantasy VI is also running his own Armor Shop, but he doesn’t add anything new to the inventory (apparently Biggs’ Armor Shop was carrying a Shadow Anklet and I missed it, though).
Finally, you can talk to the local Moogle, Mog, who runs the Workshop on this world. All Workshops share the same synthesis option.
Also, this is apparently the first place you can synthesize, so I may have jumped the gun in describing Elmina’s shop yesterday.
Standing across from the Triplet’s shop and Mog’s Workshop is Scrooge McDuck, Donald’s uncle.
Before the Heartless invasion, he traveled the universe on a Gummi Ship with the King.
He wanted to set up a transit system to make travel between the worlds both easier and safer, but seeing how things were in KH1, you can probably imagine how that ended.
Currently, he’s reopened the Local Ice Cream Shop and is trying to recreate his favorite flavor from before the world fell. He’s happy to see Donald and Goofy, but isn’t having much luck with bringing back his favorite flavor.
The fact that it tastes terrible doesn’t help matters at all.
Upon progressing to the Borough, weird lights start to appear from the street, much to the trio’s confusion.
Yuffie explains that it’s the town’s defense mechanism.
Then the Nobodies attack.
This is the first battle where you’ll encounter Samurai. Where Assassins were Axel’s followers, these Nobodies follow Roxas.
When they kneel down, you can use the Reaction Command “Duel Stance” to play a short minigame.
All of your commands are blanked out, but one becomes “The End”.
You have a few seconds to select “The End” before the Samurai deals massive damage to you.
Win, and the Samurai will be struck down in one hit.
Yuffie is impressed with how well the trio are doing, but she hasn’t seen Riku or the King, but is nonetheless excited to see each other.
Sora then strikes the same pose Leon struck all the time in KH1.
“‘We might never meet again, but we’ll never forget each other,’” he quotes.
Yuffie is amused by his Leon impersonation, and suggests that they meet up with everyone else in Merlin’s house.
You now have a map of the Marketplace, which is actually a map of the whole town.
The defense system will help you whenever you have a battle inside the inhabited parts of Hollow Bastion, launching Heartless and Nobodies alike into the air, even if you’ll only encounter Heartless  for now.
Inside Merlin’s House, we meet the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee, consisting of Yuffie, Cid (who’s working on a computer), Aerith (who’s voice “actor” would be fired after this game), and Leon.
“We missed you,” Aerith’s VA reads in her one okay delivery in the entire game.
“Look who’s in top shape,” Cid greets.
“I knew it,” Leon claims.
“Knew what?” Sora asks.
“A while back, everyone suddenly remembered you guys, all at the same time,” Leon explains.
Looks like he was wrong last time, they DID forget each other, but also met again!
Sora and Donald are somewhat offended, and the Restoration Committee is confused when Goofy explains that they’ve been sleeping ever since they defeated Ansem.
“It doesn’t matter,” Aerith’s VA monotones, “This is great. Everyone’s together again!” (Note, in spite of the exclamation point in the subtitles, she keeps the same, dull, “Creepy Twins from the Shining” delivery the whole way through.)
None of them have seen Riku or the King, though.
“Sorry. But let us know if there’s anything we can do to help. Okay?” Aerith’s VA reads without pausing.
Cid and Leon go on to explain that they have an issue, and they already know what Nobodies are called, and were hoping Sora, Donald, and Goofy would help them.
Aerith’s VA reads a line that was meant to be kinda snarky about Leon, but she doesn’t vary her tone at all.
“Come follow me to the Bailey,” he says as the leaves, “I have something to show you.”
Then, Merlin poofs in, and reminds Aerith to give them their Restoration Committee Honorary Membership Cards, since it’s only thanks to them that they can rebuild.
Merlin reminds Sora that he’s forgotten all of his magic while he was asleep, and gives him the power to cast Blizzard.
Blizzard fires a chunk of ice from the tip of Sora’s Keyblade, and costs 15 MP to cast.
You can Save your game here, and if you talk to Merlin, he’ll reveal that your clothes actually passively absorb magical energy from the environment to recharge.
When your MP meter is depleted, it’ll enter a recharge mode. Once it refills, you’ll completely regain all of your MP. If you collect MP orbs while outside of recharge mode, you’ll still refill your MP normally, but in recharge mode, you won’t be able to cast any Magic, AND collecting MP orbs will simply speed up your Recharge.
You can also cast Magic Spells no matter how much MP you have, but if the MP cost exceeds your current MP, you’ll be put into recharge mode.
Also, your MP gauge is no longer segmented like it was in KH1.
Even though your first enemy battle was with Nobodies, you will exclusively encounter Heartless on your way to the Bailey.
At the Borough, Leon shows a view from across the wasteland, to a massive, pipework castle with the Heartless Emblem on it.
This is Villain’s Veil, Maleficent’s old headquarters.
And it’s surrounded by an ocean of Heartless.
The Heartless are the only thing Leon isn’t confident the Restoration Committee can handle.
Well, them and the Nobodies that occasionally show up to thin the herd.
Sora then fills Leon in on who the big bad guys are.
Firstly, the Heartless are (as far as Sora’s aware) under Pete’s command. But unlike Maleficent, Pete’s kind of an idiot.
The real issue is the Nobodies, and their leader: Organization XIII.
“You called?” the Unknown questions.
Sora rushes out to find the speaker.
“You’re doing well,” III comments.
“Who’s that?” Sora questions.
“This calls for a celebration…”
Dusks materialize out of Corridors of Darkness, luring Donald and Goofy away as two more emerge behind Leon and head for the gates.
The gates leading into the town are sealed shut, and it’s now up to Sora and Leon to protect them.
The gates have their own health bar, and no way to recover health. If that health is depleted, you fail the encounter and have to start over from your last save.
In addition to this, Leon has his own, invisible health bar that is depleted as he fights against the Nobodies. If he runs out, Sora will get access to the “Recovery Run” Reaction Command to rush towards Leon, spin around him to swat away any enemies, and revive him.
Also, since Donald and Goofy aren’t part of your active party, you don’t have access to Valor Form.
The battle continues until you defeat the last Nobody.
Winning the battle earns you the Fire Spell.
In this game, Fire is a short-ranged spell that summons a ring of fire around the caster. It costs 12 MP to cast, and Sora must stand completely still unless he has a specific ability equipped.
But after the battle has concluded…
“The Keyblade… A truly marvelous weapon…” the Unknown remarks as Sora runs out into the Restoration Zone, “Were it only in more… capable hands…”
Organization XIII laughs.
“Show yourselves!” Sora demands.
Up on a nearby wall, the Unknown emerges from a Corridor of Darkness and raises his arms into the air.
Sora glares at him as Donald and Goofy run back to him, having dealt with the Nobodies who lured them off.
Five more Corridors deposit II, III, VII, IX and X on the wall around the Unknown, who finally lowers his arms.
“Organization XIII!” Goofy calls out.
“Good. Now we can settle this!” Sora declares.
“What a shame,” the Unknown comments, “And here I thought we could be friends.”
Organization XIII laughs as they all vanish into Corridors of Darkness.
“Stop!” Donald shouts as he runs off to try and follow the people who teleported away with no indication as to where they were going, only for another Corridor of Darkness to open in his path and deposit II.
Donald looks up to the wall the Organization was on, only to find they’re not there anymore.
“What’s the big idea!” Donald shouts.
“Oopsy-daisy!” II replies in his surfer-dude accent.
“Move!” Sora orders.
“Now do you think that’s polite, shutting me down like that?” II questions.
“I said, get outta the way!” Sora repeats.
“As if!” II replies, “You can talk all you want, but that won’t change a thing.”
Sora falls into a fighting stance as Donald jumps back and brandishes his staff.
“Then we’re gonna MAKE you move!” the duck declares.
“See, that would work – if I were just any old dude,” II replies, “‘Cept I’m not. I’m with the Organization. Nothing ‘any old’ about me.”
“Ha!” Sora replies, “Tough talk for someone who stood on the sidelines while his Nobody flunkeys did the fighting!”
“Oh, dear,” II remarks, “I think you got the wrong impression.”
“You gonna cry?” Sora taunts.
“As if!” II retorts, “Why don’t I remind you how tough the crowd you’re dealing with really is?”
“Remind me?” Sora questions, before regaining his composure and falling back into his stance and glaring at II.
II laughs.
“That’s RIGHT, he used to give me that same exact look,” he exclaims.
“I guess you think you can psych me out by saying really random stuff!” Sora replies.
“Gee… I just don’t know,” II says as he leans forward.
The trio stands off with II.
“Be a good boy now!” II orders as a Corridor of Darkness opens at his feet.
“Wait!” Donald shouts.
The Corridor closes before Donald can tackle him.
“Rats! He got away.”
“That was weird,” Sora comments, “WHO gave him the same look?”
Goofy suggests that II was just trying to confuse him.
“Yeah, you’re right,” Sora replies, “Only one me!”
He takes out his membership card and begins to read it.
“The Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee Honorary Member-” His reading is interrupted by the card glowing and rising into the air, the tip of his Keyblade emitting light as well.
Sora holds his Keyblade out in front of him and points it at the ground, a crown symbol materializing at his feet as the light wraps around him, replacing everything except for himself and the membership card with a cloudy sky.
A beam fires out of the membership card and forms into a keyhole-like shape with a vortex inside it.
Sora points his Keyblade at the keyhole and fires a beam of light into it.
The keyhole-like shape erupts into a bright light.
The Gate has been opened.
Time to head off to the next world.
Leon advises the trio to be careful, and Sora promise to see him again soon.
Secret Ansem Report 7
While beings born of darkness and those lacking hearts may find them convenient, it is dangerous for others to make much use of the corridors of darkness. Darkness erodes the heart.
In search of a place to proceed with my research and planning away from prying eyes, I found myself in "Twilight Town." It is a quiet village, forgotten in the chasm between light and darkness. I situated myself in the basement of an abandoned mansion standing beyond the woods.
My underground research resulted in one new discovery after another.
When a Heartless is born, the body and soul left behind are reborn into this world as a different being.
They possess different intentions than their Heartless brethren, and while it is unclear what these sentient "things" are after, it would appear they are responsible for much bedlam in the world.
My erstwhile friend the King and his subjects, along with a hero wielding the Keyblade, are battling the Heartless even as a new threat approaches.
This new threat...they have given themselves a fitting name, I suppose.
These non-beings: "Nobodies."
A great number of Nobodies have lost human form, as have the Heartless. Yet the Nobody born of someone with a strong heart retains its shape, with but the faintest visible changes.
It appears my betrayers have retained their human forms as Nobodies, and are gathering more followers in hopes of furthering a new scheme.
"Organization XIII," formed of 13 Nobodies with my betrayers at its core, has divided into two; they are said to be carrying out some sort of research.
Seeking to uncover the plans of this Organization, I have decided to head for where six of its members have gathered. Towering over the outer limits of the realm between darkness and light:
Castle Oblivion.
Meanwhile, Where Nothing gathers, the Organization is having another meeting, exclusive to Final Mix.
“Do my eyes deceive me?” III questions, “Does he really have the power to wield the Keyblade? He is nothing but a boy.”
“Give him a chance,” II insists, “It means he’s straight as an arrow. He’s pure of heart, unlike all of us here.”
“He had better be,” VII states, “or else he’s worthless.”
“I truly hope he’s enjoying himself on his adventure,” X remarks as he produces a card, emblazoned with the Organization’s insignia, and fans it out into a full hand of cards and draws one, “Maybe he’d like a hand to determine his fate.”
“Hey, as long as it works in our favor,” IX notes, “We can let him do what he wants for now. Then we’ll all jump in if needed.”
“Those are bold words coming form you,” II notes, “Are you saying you’ll volunteer to take care of it if things go wrong? Huh?”
“What!? Me?” IX stammers, “No, you have the wrong guy. I’m not comfortable with that.”
“You act as though you have a conscience,” III sneers, “When was the last time any one of us felt anything?”
“Truer words were never spoken,” X confirms as he dispels the card he was holding aloft, “Well I suppose the fun will have to wait.”
“Do you know what happens to those who lose their true purpose?” VII questions, “Inevitably, they destroy themselves.”
“Gentlemen,” the Unknown interrupts.
All discussion halts as the Nobodies all turn to face the highest throne their superior sits in.
“The hero of the Keyblade has embarked on a new adventure,” the Unknown announces, “Make sure it is one he will remember. Now go.”
II, III, VII, IX, and X vanish into Corridors of Darkness.
Back on the Gummi Ship, Chip and Dale discover that Twilight Town seems to have vanished (The player can still see its silhouette under a bubble, though).
However, the Gate opened the path to two new worlds!
Unfortunately, both are blocked by Gummi Routes.
If you try to get close to either world without clearing the Gummi Route first, you’ll bounce off an invisible barrier.
But that's a topic for next time.
-
Wow you REALLY hate that VA lmao.
Also I have some context for things given Chain of Memories and what I remember from playing 358/2 Days. But I can't imagine how things were for y'all having this on its' own.

It's kind of crazy that I love kingdom hearts. I'm someone who loves stories and character arcs and good plot lines, and I know kingdom hearts has a very weak plot line, but I can't help but love it. I love all the characters, despite a lot of them needing work. The fact that Roxas and Xion came back delights me, despite the little since it makes storywise and how much more powerful the story would be if they couldn't. It doesn't even matter that I see these flaws, because I love it regardless. I have a lot of issues with the changes made, but I still live every second of it. Remind continues to blow me away. Kairi training with aqua has me ready for a side game. Kh2 and birth by sleep are still the most invested I've ever been in a video game. I literally called my brother and vented about kh3 for an hour, but I still enjoy it. The ship in pirates, dashing everywhere, the world of tangled, and of course the best worlds, monsters Inc, and toy box. It doesn't matter that they made the princesses less special by changing their power, or the leaps characters make. The lack of communication between characters doesn't even matter because my emotions are still so strong for these characters and twists. Having to fight dark aqua destroyed me emotionally. I was in shock about Kairis death and didn't believe it for a single second. Terra coming back had me smiling so wide. And the cliffhanger made me realize that yes, the writers can do anything, this series will still have my heart.

KH 2 Playthrough pt2:
UGH nvm it’s not the scene. I have to fight Xigbar😔.
.
Oh my gosh do I HATE fighting Xigbar. Just disappearing and stuff and like fricking shooting me. Gosh his finish move almost killed me, but thankfully I have the “At least 1 HP is left after a combo,” thing on bc if not I would’ve died.
I died once and I’m so glad I beat him the second time-
.
THE SCENE!! IM AT THE SCENE😭😭.
Riku just leaving and Sora stopping him to say thanks….I bet it really hurt him-
AND THEN KAIRI REVEALING TO SORA THAT IT’S RIKU IN FRONT OF HIM!!
And then he falls to his knees and cries while holding Riku’s hand😭😭😭. Y’all I love this and I can’t wait to see Riku turn back into himself and be able to fight with him hnnng-
.
Leveling up and stuff and I just remembered the “Final Form” exits for our drive gauge, and I finally got it because I don’t think I ever got it but I’m excited now :))). Gotta level this one up and master up too. I need those jumps so I can get all of my beloved puzzle pieces and beat the game-
I mainly got it by going to Olympus and doing the Cerberus cup (even if I already beat it)
.
Leveled up my master form too and hehe I’m excited to beat the game again >:))).
.
UGHH!! The card guy made me mad but I beat him on the first try >:)). But ALSO! I talked to Riku and he said,
“Humph. Not bad, Sora. You’ve grown stronger. You don’t need my weapon, Soul Eater, or the power of the dark yet.”
Jokes on him bc Sora already has some dark power within him
.
Fighting Siax now and whenever he starts his little dusk attack, Riku grabs Kairi and covers her with him and they get pushed back. I bet they’re worried for Sora, but I found that moment between them so sweet🥺.
.
The flashback of Riku looking at Roxas collapsed on the ground in TWTNW is showing after I beat Saix. I see Riku walk up to him and he has the keyblade up in his hand, position to be thrown down onto Roxas. Idk if it was truly meant to hit him, but we see Riku hesitate and throw it to the ground beside him. Ik its probably nothing but my mind was like
“Riku never truly wanted to hurt Roxas, but he wanted Sora to wake up, so he had to hurt him and use the darkness. But when it came to actually hurting him in this way, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. A part of Sora was in there and he couldn’t imagine hurting him anymore, and he didn’t want to hurt anyone any more.”
And then when it’s clear that he truly is Sora’s nobody, Riku gives into the dark just to wake sORA UP AAAAAH-
.
“I have accepted it.”
DiZ shows up and Riku puts his hood on to avoid his gaze😭. He didn’t want anyone to look at him while he was this way-
“DiZ, he told me he could feel Sora.” (Riku)
“Oh, he told you how he “felt”, did he?” (DiZ)
“Ridiculous. A nobody cannot feel anything. If he had met Sora, things might have been different.”
AND THEN THE FLASHBACK ENDS AND RIKU’S LIKE, “Maybe I didn’t need to fight him after all. I think he left the organization because…he really wanted to meet you.”
Y’all I’m emotional over everything related to Roxas and Sora😭.
.
NOOO.
“I wish I could meet him, too.” (Sora)
HNNNG SORAAAA!!! The poor boy is going through so many emotions.
.
“The path is open. Demand is waiting up ahead. He’s the leader of Organizatjon XIII. Try not to slow me down, Sora.”
You know he’s been WAITING to say that little dig, even if he truly would do anything to help Sora-
Like tag a lightsaber hit to the side to stop it from killing Sora😭.
.
“All my research amounted to nothing, compared with that one boy’s heart.” (DiZ about Sora)
YES OUR ONE BOY IS VERY SPECIAL AND AMAZING😭💙.
.
DiZ admitting his ignorance is so good hnnng. I’m lost on the lore, but I love it when people admit they’re wrong and I love him roasting Xemnas.
ALSO! When the thing explodes, Riku dashes to everyone else and holds them back to protect them. Especially Sora. Sora runs to try to go to DiZ to help him or do something, but Riku stops him and GOSH I LOVE RIKU!!!
.
“And just who were you trying to fool? Huh? Huhhh?” (Sora to Riku)
“Myself.” (Riku)
Y’all I’m losing it😭😭😭. And the way Sora looks so sad immediately after that.
“C’mon, man! Why did you try to do so much on your own? You got friends…like us!” And everyone smiles to him and it’s all so sweet because Sora is reminding Riku of his friends and how he is cared for-
And then Riku replies, “Have you forgotten? I’ll tell you why. ‘Cause I’m not a total sap like you.”
He just had to make a joke and slightly ruin the sweet moment😂.
.
Sora seeing the heartless problem and immediately going, “What do we do, Riku?”
He has someone else to rely on now, and doesn’t have to only think by himself and he’s getting someone else’s opinion and plan….I love our boy😭.
.
Okay that’s enough for one post so✌️.

Aris Media 2023 #36: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Tumblr media
oh gosh! i actually completed this game! all these months of rambling across multiple social medias later and i actually did it! also almost forgot to log onto Tumblr today to check in the Dash and also post this little thing WHOOPS
anyway, yeah, this game is...complicated. the first half? slow, tutorial heavy, combat options are lacking, nothing deals damage, it is a slog. but around the 15 hour mark (which is not a great thing! but hear me out) i started to kinda get into the repetitive missions? the gameplay started to click? sure, that's right when the game decides no, fuck you, Ruler of the Sky and Leechgrave time, but once i was deep into the postgame and knocking out Challenges 358/2 became REALLY fun. panel deck building and having diet-KH2 fluidity helped so much in making this game not the worst to play
and besides, it's better than watching the movie! i rewatched it after beating the game proper, and it is so dry. so many little moments cut out, and sure, the core of the amazing trio of Roxas, Axel and Xion is kept, but i can see why all those years ago seeing the same clock tower scene bored me heavily, because the work you do between was needed to make the emotional beats hit! i wept up heavily in the final days when playing the game, but no such tears came out when watching the movie, there's nothing to get attached to, it kinda blows
anyway yeah not to go on too much longer, game edges more on the mid side and it's not THAT interesting outside of the dynamic of the main trio, it was just cool to experience new events in the classic KH1/2 worlds and have one last game with the classic KH feel before BBS changed everything, sorry for the long one but i had to lol

Throne???
The leader who sits on a throne of glass values honesty and integrity. they rule their kingdom democratically and will uphold justice at any cost. their intelligence and perception is unrivaled in any of the surrounding lands. they will always be transparent with their views and be true to their people and what they stand for. however, it is unwise to lie to a ruler of glass - they can see right through any deception and believe dishonesty to be the most severe of crimes.

“Thinking of you, wherever you are.” -Kairi
~🗝👑💗~
Well now seems a good as time to post this since Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is ending very soon. 😅 I’ll consider this my first tribute to is as well as a super fun piece I drew with my friend @rivsera in mind!
During the D&D campaign we were in last year, I made a drawing for fun of all the player characters in clothes from KHUX since I managed to recreate them in the game with complete outfit sets. It was very satisfying to use the whole look for all of them.
First up, the pose for the two of them is very much based on the Sora and Roxas medal as I think it’s such a cool looking pose! For reference, in the back is the dashing Rivsera’s character, Kirin, and in the front is my character, Monty.
So for Kirin, who originally wore a very comfy homemade hoodie, his outfit was “Casual Mickey.” As much as I love the sunglasses it has, I couldn’t cover that handsome face of his! And as he was very musically inclined with the skill to play both the guitar and violin, I gave him the Counterpoint keyblade. It’s such a cool looking keyblade with the notes and the treble clef as the top.
Meanwhile with Monty, he wears the “Traditional Prep” outfit as I more or less based the color scheme of his regular clothes from this look. And he got the Fairy Stars keyblade as it had various four pointed stars on it and a bright shade of green that is reminiscent of the diamond crisscross pattern on his sweater vest. Also I really like Sleeping Beauty so that also influenced this choice 😙

Can you make a part 6 for the one where the reader is formally a dusk now Roxas’s younger sister? Where in this part it’s a Timeskip to the keyblade graveyard fight when Roxas returns
*aggressively searches through youtube*
A dark corridor opened to reveal Xemnas as he walked over to a fallen you, Sora, Kairi, and Axel.
"Xemnas..." Axel sneered.
"There was a time when I trusted you to deal with traitors. And now, your betrayal outstrips them all. What final words do you have for your superior?" Xemnas said.
"Well, let me think about it. How about, 'You were never my superior.'"
"Ah, ever the rogue pawn. Knocked from the board early in the game. Utterly useless and forgotten."
"You kidding? Do you know how popular I am? I got loads of people rootin' for me. Especially, that little one there," Axel said as he pointed to you. "Sorry boss. No one axes Axel. Got it memorized?"
Axel took his Keyblade and charged at Xemnas but Xemnas caught the blade before Axel could attack.
"Is this supposed to be a Keyblade? Or is it some sort of joke?" Xemnas asked. He pushed Axel away and his Keyblade shattered into pieces. Xemnas used his powers and formed a dome around him, Axel, and Saïx. Lazers surrounded Axel and they started firing at him, causing him to cry out in pain. Xemnas held his hand out and summoned his Ethereal Blades as Axel fell to the ground. You stood up and ran over to Axel, holding him protectively.
"Our plans have been dashed by you...far more times than I care to count," Xemnas said as he walked over to the fallen Axel. "And you little one...you're only a failed experiment. But seeing this power, maybe you could be of use."
"Like that's gonna happen!" you said.
"Well, now it ends. I will purge the light that is in the both of you...with darkness!" Xemnas raised his blade and was about to strike both you and Axel but was stopped by a gloved hand. And that hand belonged to the cloaked figure.
"Changing sides again?" Xemnas asked.
"We need them alive. You know that," the cloaked figure said.
"We only need their hearts in order to forge the key. We do not need their souls. Oh...but that's right. You were 'friends' with Axel. Then...you take their lives." The cloaked figure stood up and Axel looked up at her.
"Who...are you...?" he asked. The cloaked figure held out her Keyblade in front of you and Axel in a hostile manner. She hesitated for a moment, not sure about what she should do. Sora stepped in front of her and pushed her blade down gently.
"Don't do this," he said. The cloaked figure gasped broke free of Sora's grip only to attack him but he blocked the attack. She kept attacking him but he kept blocking each one
"Wait..." he said. She struck him hard but he still blocked the attack. "It's all right! You can stop now!"
The cloaked figure gasped.
"It's all right...Xion," he said. But that wasn't actually him. It was Roxas. Xion started to cry and dropped her Keyblade. She stumbled back a few paces and clutched her head and started screaming in pain. She thrashed around while crying and whimpering. Suddenly, Xemnas appeared in front of her.
"Useless puppet," he said. He then kicked Sora and Xion away, making her hood fall off her head. You and Axel watched as they fell to the ground and Axel felt his head pound and the sight of Xion.
"Xion!" he gasped. Sora and Xion fell to the ground and Xemnas walked to Xion but felt a hand grab his foot. He looked down and saw Axel holding on while you ran to Sora and Xion.
"Are you two okay?" you asked.
"W-we're fine. Thanks, (Y/N)," Sora said.
"Your Keyblade is no more. And you still think you can play at being a guardian of light?" Xemnas said to Axel. He broke free from Axel’s grip and stomped on his hand, making Axel groan in pain. “You can wait your turn...Also-ran.”
Xemnas aimed his Ethereal Blade at the unconscious Xion and you formed a protective shield around her. Sora felt a light exit out of him and a beam of light stopped Xemnas from attacking. Xemnas jumped away from the beam as it struck the earth.
“Keep your hands off my friends.” Xemnas gasped and stood up straight.
“It cannot be!” he said. You, Xion, and Axel watched the dust clear to reveal...
“Roxas?” you asked. The figure took off his hood and it was indeed Roxas.
“Roxas!” you smiled and ran to give him a giant hug.
“Hey, there’s the best sister ever! Why do you have wings?” Roxas asked.
“Long story. But I’m just glad you’re okay!”
“Me too. Now, how about we take down these losers?” You, Kairi, Sora, Axel, and Xion nodded and took down Xemnas and Saïx together.

KH 2 playthrough post so far so I don’t actually have to spam my blog and you all:
OOOH!! I just beat Aladdin’s world for the second time and now the organizations place is showing up!! It’s beginning to appear which isn’t too good-
But it’s also perfect bc I am craving to see Riku pleaseeeee.
.
I have to go back to Twilight Town for the second time and I didn’t see that the path wasn’t opened up yet (like I can see the world but I can’t land there yet), so I went up to it and it did that barrier thing and it scared the crap out of me. Idk why it did, but it did-
.
AXELL!! IM IN THE DATA TWILIGHT AND AXEL IS SAVING US IN THE PORTAL THING!!!
.
HE DIESSS NOOOO. I mean Ik he doesn’t die but STILL ITS SO SAD😭. He just wanted to see Roxas….
.
I’m looking at the shadow profile in the journal and gosh the way it just twitches…it makes it so hard to believe that Sora was one of these at some point-
.
Went back to Pride Rock to lvl up bc I remember that spawning those flying creatures thing on top of pride rock and it’s worked pretty well. Got Sora leveled up at least once since the first time so :).
But also why am I only now learning that Sora can actually run in Lion King’s world?? He doesn’t do a short dash…if you hold down square he actually runs…why am I only now realizing this after years-
.
Yesss!!! The heartless wasn’t that hard. I just didn’t go up to the actual heartless at all and just attacked the big dinosaur thing bc it was safer and that thing was dead within 5 minutes?? Maybe?? Idk but anyways. I really wish we could do drive form in pride lands bc that fight would’ve been really good for leveling up my Valor form and others. I think I need to lvl each form up to beat Roxas so I need to get to working-
.
Tron: Hugs the crew
Donald and Goofy: Happily accept the hug
Sora: Acts like he’s never been hugged in his life and is so uncomfortable
I still find this moment so funny-
.
Leveled up my Drive Forms (even tho I could only use limit :’)) and I beat Roxas on the first try! I’m so happy!! And while reading through comments of a video about how to beat him since I haven’t played him in awhile and needed a refresher of what he does, I saw people saying they quit. They literally got to this fight and quiet and it made me a little sad. One comment said they got to lvl 40 and couldn’t beat him and I was like, “Did you…not read the lvl recommendation? It says 50 for me, plus leveling up the drive form needed wasn’t too difficult.” I literally took a TON of damage and could barely block any of his attacks, but if you have Curaga and Hi-Potions, then you can beat him. Literally my first time posting on normal mode and I managed to do it!!
Some even said that it took them two hours to beat Roxas and I was like dang. It took me awhile to level up my drive forms sure, but not two hours. I guess they didn’t go to the right areas :/. I just want to tell people that if you gave up bc of him, to back to this game! It’s so amazing to beat him yourself and feel that satisfaction! It really is! Plus, as long as you’re at the recommendation lvl then you can do it! I’m literally barely dodged his attacks and almost died once, but I managed and it’s very satisfying to beat him!! And very emotional if you look up why you fight him :’’’(.
But yeah there’s my small rant about my fight with Roxas. I really can’t believe I beat him on my first try. Last playthrough (which was the first time I beat the game ever) I sucked so bad.
.
BROO WHY AM I CRYING AS I WATCH SORA AND ROXAS HAVE A MOMENT. HE HAS A WHOLE MOMENT WITH AXEL AND THEN HE JUST TELLS SORA, “You make a good other.”
BRO IM LITERALLY IN TEARS. My head hurts😭. I love that KH seems like a Disney game because of the worlds, but it’s story and lore is real deep and punches you in the heart while simultaneously making you laugh. I love it here even as I cry :).
.
This is so terrible out of context, but Namine and Kairi running away while holding hands is kinda funny. Just the way they run is a little bit funny. Situation is terrible but I just had a small chuckle at their run-
.
Okay that’s all for tonight :). It’s almost midnight and I’m just now quitting KH, so yeah. Goodnight yall or good morning :).
