So, you’d purchased a cheap but cute Halloween costume and Wendy drove the three of you to the meetup spot in the woods.

“I swear if I see Stan there with that new girl of his I’m gonna freak,” Bebe rambled at her best friend, hair bouncing dramatically as her hands gestured wildly. “I mean, what kind of fucking name is Pifi anyway?”

“Bebe, be nice. I’m over him, okay? He’s allowed to move on.” Wendy sighed, looking tired even through her intricate makeup.

“Fine. Hey, [Name],” The blonde turned to you, beaming. “Got your eyes on any boys yet?”

“Not really.” You shrugged, adjusting your costume as Wendy pulled up to the campground parking lot.

The three of you removed yourselves from the vehicle, and you could already feel the bass booming through the air. No wonder Tolkien had hosted this so far out of town…

You were very quickly left alone by an apologetic Wendy and excitable Bebe, both of whom went to flirt and talk with their respective crushes.

It took a couple spiked-punch cups of liquid courage before you decided, fuck it, and went to dance.

Kenny had gotten to the party and gunned it to the punch, downing a cup or two before looking around for you. You were the most gorgeous person he’d ever seen, and he felt so lucky you were in half his lectures.

When he saw you, the shiest person he’d ever met, thrashing and laughing to the shitty Halloween music, he nearly lost it. You looked fucking amazing in that costume, it made him ache to hold you as his.

He swerved through the crowd, moving to dance with you. You beamed up at him, fuzzy brain recognizing him as a friend.

“Hey, you.” You giggled out. “Aren’t you in my classes?”

“Yeah. Kenny.” He grinned right back, and the two of you found rhythm together as you danced.

“[Name]. I like your costume.” You swept your eyes over him. You couldn’t deny he was handsome.

“Thanks. You look really nice too.” Your chatter went on for a while, Kenny eventually pulling you away to a nice spot by a creek that was quieter than the party. The moon was bright, so neither of you were too worried about not being able to find your way back.

“What made you talk to me tonight?” You asked softly, sure that a guy like him could have anyone at this party in the palm of his hand.

“I didn’t wanna talk to anybody else. When Bebe said you’d be here, I begged Kyle for a costume and a ride,” He chuckled at his own expense. “Pretty dumb, huh? We’ve never even talked and I’m already whipped for you.”

“N-not dumb,” You muttered, looking at him with pink cheeks. “Kinda cute, actually…”

At some point you both leaned in, lips brushing against each other. You grabbed his cheeks, putting your mouth to his in an eager kiss. You squealed and giggled when his hands found your ass, pulling you to sit on his lap.

“Fuck, nobody told me you were such a good fuckin’ kisser.” His smile was wide, eyes adoring.

“Yeah? Nobody really knows it.” He melted at your admission disguised as a lighthearted remark.

“I’m special?”

“So special, Romeo.” With that, he kneaded your thighs, kissing you again and dancing his tongue along yours eagerly.

You were so enraptured by each other you hadn’t noticed Bebe and her new girlfriend, Red, giggling as they approached. Bebe gasped and you nearly fell into the creek, surprised by her presence. You were lucky Ken had such a tight grip on you.

“Ohmygod! [Name], you like Kenny?? That’s sooooo cyuuuuute!” Red rolled her eyes, pulling her further down the waterline.

“Have fun you two.” She winked, going to distract the blonde with a makeout session of their own.

“Well, shit. Guess that makes us official, pretty thing?” He asked, half a joke and half a hopeful question.

“Guess so. Pucker up, loverboy?”

“Thought you’d never ask.”

The life of 38-year-old Christopher Ennington is in shambles. Battered by abuse, disease and loneliness, he cannot believe his luck when he crosses paths with a mysterious stranger. Gyth is kind, dreamy, and just as much of an outsider as Christopher. Birds of a feather flock together. But people in rural Massachusetts do not take kindly to this blossoming relationship. It is only when Christopher learns of Gyth’s true nature that his world starts to finally change – and he himself with it.

Since it deals with trauma and mental illness and serves as an abuse survivour fantasy, parts of the book are fairly dark even outside of the body horror genre aspects. I have written this very much in the spirit of a hurt/comfort fanfic. Still, I encourage you to check out the CWs on my carrd before buying or renting the book.

By now it should be available internationally; I have been told US stores need a bit longer. There is a special e-book discount until 6 December 2023 that you might wanna take into consideration! (I will say that I have no control over international prices of the paperback though. It had to be at least 14€ to cover the printing costs but is often more expensive in stores outside of my country.)

Overall, I hope this story reaches its right audience lol, it does venture into ero guro territory at times after all. And I've already found several typos in it (rip). That said, holding this book in my hands, I am insanely proud of it and its story. Seeing yourself in "the other", SA as body horror etc. etc. (To be very honest my therapist loudly encouraged me to publish this lol) The two main characters are adults and very much two dads™, though without any mpreg, for those who want to know.

I want to revise this book very badly for a second edition because I'd like it to be as perfect as possible, but that depends on how well this baby sells in the first place. Maybe give the eldritch sweethearts a try!! If not, I'd be happy if you still spread the word ♡

𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 - This is Halloween~

This is Halloween~ Pumpkins scream in the dead of night~.

It's that time of the year again! Isn't it just OH, so exciting! If you've been here a while, you might know how much I LOVE holidays ♡ And Halloween, of course, holds a special place in my heart. Wouldn't be able to tell you why, but it's always with great joy that I spend october, and especially the last week, preparing, decorating, and celebrating ~.

Same as last year, to get in the mood this week before the day comes, I've prepared a small list with movies to watch! Some were added to the ranking last time, classics that simply can't be left out–. And some, well, are just here to enjoy and have fun with friends at night (*^ω^)

With nothing else to say, I hope you enjoy this year's selection!

Monday 23rd

Title: Scream franchise (1996-2023) - Director: Wes Craven, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Christopher Landon

It is not a Halloween movie night if there's not at least ONE Scream movie in there. That's it. That's everything there is to say. Ah, how do you even explain this franchise? To this day, it remains a must watch for any and all horror lovers. There is no further discussion about it. I'm taking the holiday as an excuse! Still need to watch the new drop. So do the same, and if you haven't watched them all, make yourself a favor and sit through them tonight!

It's the hand. It will ALWAYS be the hand. Picture this, you're watching a terribly gore-y, comical horror movie. You can't get past the 1st person POV of the evil spirit sprinting through the woods, trying to take the movie seriously as it's so old. And then, to top it off, a possessed hand wants to end its former owner's life. That's all you need to know to understand why this is here. A comic, a computer game, a movie, a tv show, and a musical. That's the cultural impact of The Evil Dead!

Lets be honest for once. There's only one good Paranormal Activity movie, and that's simply the first one. Maybe it was the fear it induced, the novelty of the idea and the filmmaking, or simply the fact it made it seem like such an ordinary occurrence, like it could happen to you at any time. But it is, undoubtedly, an axiety inducing, terrifying movie. And I am more than convinced it deserves a little spot in todays list.

Did I pick your favorite movie, or did I miss it? It's always so hard picking so little movies to share and have fun with for these dates! Never know if I want to keep the list old school, modern, psychological, or bloody! Regardless, this is the list I'm going with myself! A bit of everything, I reckon, and I know I'll enjoy it.

You hummed along to the music, happily dancing in the crowd of Crimson Dawn fans. They had been your favorite band for years, fitting a niche of Midwest punk-rock you had never known you needed. You’d been lucky enough to be dormmates (and besties) with the guitarist’s ex, Tammy, who he still owed a couple favors.

Your favorite member by far was Kyle, the bass player. He always had such spunk, it entranced you. You barely even paid attention to the main singer, Stan, much preferring to watch the bassist's ginger curls bounce in his ponytail behind him as he strummed the thick cords of his instrument.

As the song ended, you looked up to see Kyle wiping his sweat-soaked forehead. He glanced your way and you shuddered. His almost electric green eyes pierced you, as if looking into your soul. You calmed down, considering it was probably just him picking a random section near the front. Right?

He smirked as he switched places with Stan, which was unusual. Normally the only one who did that was the drummer, Marjorine. Mostly because she was the only girl, and drums were the only thing Stan could play.

Ah, that made more sense. Everybody had to trade around, Marj taking guitar and Kenny taking the bass so Stan could sit at the drums.

Kyle started to hum as everyone kicked in, and you were utterly entranced by his voice. You felt lucky to hear him vocalize.

“I taste death, in every kiss we share,

Every sundown seems to be the last we have.

Your breath on my skin has the scent of our end,

I’m drunk on your tears, baby can’t you see it’s hurting?”

You started to get queasy. Uncomfortable, even, because this felt directed. The whole song you weren’t dancing, just nervously trying to avoid his gaze when it would sweep over you.

Soon enough their set was over. You’d spent the last few songs utterly uncomfortable, but Tammy still had one surprise left for you.

“Come on! Ken invited us backstage with them.” She grabbed your wrist, tugging you along. You had no time to protest before you stood in front of the dressing room door.

“T-Tammy, I-” Yet again you were cut off, this time by the dusty blonde guitarist opening the door.

“Tammy! You made it! Who’s this?” He beamed, happy to see Tammy. They were still friends, after all.

“My roommate I was telling you about! This is [Name],” You waved, an awkward smile gracing your face as she continued. “They’re your biggest fan.”

“Really? Come on in! I’m sure everyone will be happy to meet you.” You nodded, stepping through the threshold into the suffocating room. You felt a gaze upon you, almost predatory. You looked about, catching the eyes of the man guilty.

Tammy dragged you to sit on the couch next to him, beginning her chat with the other three members as you sat in silence with the ginger. You swallowed thickly, staring at the floor in front of you rather than the man on the opposite end of the couch.

“Boo,” You squeaked when you felt his hot breath hit your ear, cascading down your neck as he chuckled. “Jumpy, are you?”

“Y-Yeah, sorry.” He shook his head, grinning. You noticed his canines were pointy. Some sort of dental cosmetic maybe?

“No need. Kinda cute, if I’m honest,” You took in his face closely for the first time. He took your breath away. “Are you liking what you see?”

His teasing tone snapped you out of your trance, and you turned away with a deep blush. It was then you noticed you and Kyle were alone, now. You wondered where the rest had gone as he spoke again.

“Tammy said I’m your favorite. Is that true?” He leaned ever closer.

“U-Um, yes…” You answered nervously, turning yourself on the couch to more easily face him. He hovered his pale hands above your hips.

“Can I?” You nodded, not trusting your voice to come out as your heart raced. “God, you’re pretty.”

You yelped as he pulled you up to straddle one of his legs, bouncing it slightly and grinning.

“I think you’re the cutest fan we’ve got,” He gave you that same, wolfish grin as he looked your flustered form up and down. “I like how you react to me.”

You whined. Sure, youd had dreams about it before, but you never thought you’d actually get to be in a room with him. His cold hands grazed up your thighs, giving you goosebumps.

“Can I kiss you, sweet thing?” He asked softly, gently pulling you the rest of the way on his lap. You nodded shyly, and he leaned up to lock his lips onto yours.

He tasted of something sweet. You couldn’t put your finger on it. It was like something from a long time ago that you only now remembered, and god, it was good.

You couldn’t describe how kissing him felt. Hot. Passionate, maybe. It all came back to that one word, addictive. You felt like you could do this with him forever, letting his hands slide up your shirt to caress your soft skin while he slipped his tongue gently in your mouth, slowly entangling with yours.

You pulled away for air, panting, a string of saliva and your hands in his curls connecting the two of you. He stared at you, that same cocky look with something behind his eyes. He silently moved his hands again, grabbing softly at your ass, hips and thighs as he buried his face in your neck.

You gasped and mewled, embarrassed as he left marks and kisses across the expanse of your neck and shoulders. You felt dizzy, like something was sapping all of the energy you had left.

He cooed at you as you practically went limp in his arms, moving to lay on the comfortable couch with you on top of him, head on his chest.

You grumbled happily, feeling his warmth and hearing his heartbeat as you drifted off for a quick nap.

“D’ya think he’s done yet?” Marj pouted as Kenny reached an arm up the vending machine that stole her dollar.

“Maybe. I’m not gonna be the one to check.” He frowned, grabbing around blindly as his cheek pressed against the glass. Stan laughed and snapped a photo, which even got Tammy giggling.

Kenny made a small noise in triumph as he grabbed a candy bar from one of the slots, but…

“Aw man! I’m fucking stuck!”

The first lolita-related thing that happened was that I received by Taobao order!

I was really happy with the lavender and white wristcuffs, ring and candy hair accessories: they look good together, are well or decently made, and they match my AP jsk perfectly. You'll see it very soon. I was disappointed in the bloomers, which are of a really thin material, not stretchy, and very small. I can wear them but they're uncomfortable. I will probably give them to someone else and buy a new pair. The socks, necklace and eyelashes were okay. You probably already know them. The white bows were a gift from a seller. Oh, and you can barely see it but I also got a ice cream ring that I plan to use with my Milky Planet skirt or some other sweet coord.

Talking about Milky Planet, I also received the Milky Planet headbow and I regretted choosing to buy it in sax (I wanted to use it with my Sugary Carnival OP that you can see in the picture, which is, in fact, sax, but a lot lighter and less saturated). I should have got the yellow one like a normal personal (my skirt is yellow).

It was still incredibly hot in September, though, so I definitely couldn't wear a blouse. I did end up wearing lolita anyway, because it was time to attend the local con, as I wanted to meet my friends and the guest of honor Igarashi Yumiko (she made Candy Candy, Anne of Green Gables, and other extremely important shoujo manga that influenced lolita fashion too).

This is the coord that I wore. It was inspired by her work. The JSK I'm wearing is Sweet Ribbon Strawberry Switching JSK by Angelic Pretty.

And she said I was cute and wanted to take a photo with me!!!

These are the things that I got:

I missed the second day of the con because I went to a job interview which was, funnily enough, held at the same space where the con was happening (I didn't get the job though).

On the third day I wore this super cute coord (with the accessories I bought from taobao) and went back again! The JSK is Angelic Pretty's Dream Drop JSK.

It ended up being one of my favorite coords of the year, even though it's nothing special. But I felt good and even pretty in it and it's now eternally tied to this pleasant feeling. I think that us lolitas tend to forget that clothes are supposed to not only look good, or to help us forget about how ugly our life can be, but we're also supposed to actually wear them and feel good while wearing them. If we always wear clothes that are too tight and uncomfortable we will connect those things to lolita and in the end that's what lolita will mean for us. I want to remember the joy and the physical sensation of wearing cute clothes and walking around in them having fun and being myself, and cherish them forever. Also I like how I edited this pics (but they're not heavily edited, so that's another plus for me).

Look at her, she's definitely one of us.

Also during this month I celebrated Talk Like a Pirate Day by wearing a pirate-inspired outfit. Though it wasn't a lolita one, I was wearing some lolita accessories and I liked how he looked with my bow.

October

In October I received my first ever order from Akatako, and one of the things I got is this Tama key holder (on the right). Even though the girl in this artwork is not wearing lolita, Tama is one of the most well-known artists that consistently draws lolitas. Sorry about the postcard on the left, I don't have a photo of just the key holder. It's still cute and consistent with what I post on my blog though.

It was the warmest October of my life and we even risked wearing short sleeves for Halloween.

I went to one of our local meets at the beginning of the month. @puredeathwish was there too! The theme was Sanrio characters and I obviously picked Cinnamoroll. As you can see, I was wearing Sugary Carnival. I have a love/hate relationship to this dress, as I bought it on preorder when it first released back in the day (I was like 15 then and I'm 31 now) and it was my favorite lolita piece ever for many years. Eventually I wore it too much and I started hating it. I think it faded over time and I don't know if I still like it or not, but it has too much sentimental value to let it go.

I'm a little bit of a Cinnamoroll fangirl, sorry.
