Blurting: By far, blurting is my favourite way to study. By using this method we could find our knowledge gaps and focus on them.

Quizzing Yourself: Quizzing yourself using flashcards or the app Quizlet could be extremely helpful as you are gamified your studies and make it fun. Your main motive, while using flashcards, should be to recall the information as fast as you could and get it to A 100%.

Feynman Technique: Feynman Technique is basically pretending to teach yourself or a kid in simplest words, which could be used for subjects such as History and Biology to find your knowledge gaps.

Highlighting the important text so that you don't have to waste time on unnecessary text.

Re-reading your notes won't be much effective as you will only be reading your text and actually won't be able to digest the content.

AMELIA CONNORS + THE X-MEN: amelia's first encounter with the x-men happens during the events of the morlock massacre, wherein which charles xavier has opened the doors of the mansion to a handful of the surviving morlocks (those of whom had not sought out the sanctuary and allyship of magneto's brotherhood of mutants). and although she had initially seen them as heroes, her own desires for justice and vengeance against those responsible for the deaths of her family ultimately led her to come to a standstill with the group's morality.

her next encounter with the x-men comes when she has officially adopted the alias vampyra, and has been actively seeking out those who played a part in the massacre of the morlocks. (at this point, she is on the cusp of becoming an antagonist for the x-men, as well as falling dangerously close to becoming a mutant extremist, due to her anger extending further afield and extending into hunting, and hurting, humans who stand against mutants). * NOTE: that this takes place after remy has returned to the group from being cast out due to his involvement with mr. sinister. (it is also important to note that it is remy who causes amelia to see reason beyond her anger, by learning about the true nature of his involvement in the morlock massacre, and that they have since become friends).

after her last encounter with the group, amelia abandons the vampyra alias, and works on seeking atonement for her actions by becoming a vigilante. and while she does not become an official member of the x-men, she still works alongside them periodically, be it through helping to direct younger mutants to the school to offer them help, or through joining them on certain missions where they might need the extra assistance. she is also still actively on their radar even when she is not working alongside them directly, but this is more for reassurance on their behalf, to make sure that she does not revert back onto a path of self - destruction. she is aware of this, and accepts that it needs to be - even if the lack of trust does initially disgruntle her.

the thing is. ginran isn't instantly going to be a happily ever after. gin committed atrocities for her , without regard for if that's something even she would want. it would result in a complicated aftermath. i also think that within gin's pursuit of revenge, he neglected not only his own feelings but he emotionally neglects the bond he and rangiku share. he keeps her in the dark because it's a liability and probably he understands what he's going to do is terrible. i still ship it so so much because. the trope of burning the entire world for the one you love appeals to me on so many levels but i also think there's so much to unpack.

let's talk about raphael and his ability to have prophetic dreams cause i don't think it's talked about enough, and i find it's interesting.

he mentions to the player -

"I have this picture in my head of you tossing and turning in the middle of the night, thinking strange things, dreaming strange dreams, "

in his journal -

he talks about his dreams in more detail about the absolute, his own demise, and yes also the player - he is a little obsessive. can't find those notes rn but when i get back into the game i'll screenshot it.

another thing i'd like to add is that devils don't dream or atleast not the ones that i have read about in dnd lore. because of this i like to headcanon that he gets this from his mother's side, i also like to think his mother was something of a divination wizard or something similar, and had past on her dream precognition to raphael.

i also like to headcanon that raphael doesn't get much sleep because of it and needs a distraction because he cannot turn his brain off for two seconds. and why he keeps harleep but that's for another post

𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐄

WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. standing at 5’6”, kate’s build can be described as deceptively delicate. with long legs and arms, thin wrists, and not much in terms of curves, she holds a wiry sort of strength, built from a childhood of farm-chores and a young adulthood of hefting around at times heavy meteorological equipment. her hair’s natural shade is a dark golden brown, though she’s been lightening it for years. it’s thick, and holds a gentle wave when she doesn’t straighten it. very large, very dark brown eyes framed with thick lashes peer out of a somewhat sharply formed face, with a pointed nose, squared off chin, high cheekbones and ears that are a touch prominent. her mouth is wide in her face, with a lower lip slightly more full than the upper, often slicked with a hint of sheer pink lipstick.

kate doesn’t tan, she freckles and burns, so she wears sunscreen religiously and can occasionally look very washed-out and pale.

one thing most do notice about kate, especially when wearing shorts or sundresses, is the long, prominent scar dragging down her left thigh, caused by flying debris, cut deep enough to reach bone. starting just below her hip, and ending an inch or so above her knee, she has only recently started showing it, though the injury is five years old. she also has smaller scars littered across her body, and a botched stick-&-poke tattoo in the shape of a twister on her ribs, just below her right breast.

WHAT THEY SMELL LIKE. kate has a preference for clean, fresh scents. bergamot and citrus, patchouli and fresh grass, that sort. she enjoys wearing rain by clean when it comes to perfume, and likes lemon scented shampoos and soaps. coffee and cigarette smoke also clings faintly to her, as well as hay and old wood whenever she’s back home in sapulpa. when she’s out in the field damp earth, grass and ozone tends to linger on her clothes, mixed with sweat.

WHAT THEY TASTE LIKE. sweet tea, coffee and mint. she’s trying to quit smoking, a habit she picked up in her years living in new york, so she’s frequently chewing gum or sucking on mints or guzzling caffeine. she isn’t picky when it comes to alcohol, she tried the assortment of cocktails and high-end drinks when she was in the city and going out on perfunctory friday nights with co-workers, but she genuinely just prefers beer.

WHAT THEY SOUND LIKE. kate worked hard to mask her natural oaklahoman accent, to avoid people asking her where she was from, so at times her voice can come across a touch flat and emotionless. but it slips out regardless when she’s back home, especially when talking with other southerners. the elongated vowels, the slight drawl. her voice is a touch breathy and girlish, though she can easily turn sharp and blunt in a snap.

WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE. kate has poor circulation in her legs, especially her left, so her feet are almost always cold. her hands though, are small and warm, with faint scars on her palms from her nails digging into them when she held onto the overpass during the ef5. she does keep her nails trimmed neat and short, and uses hand cream religiously so her skin doesn’t crack. she’s very lean, somewhat bony to the touch, and the scar on her thigh feels knotted and raised. when kate hugs someone, she holds on for dear life, throwing her entire heart and soul into it, and it shows.

ace's smile always has a cheekiness / hint of mischief to it. he has that rascal charm even when he's being well mannered and polite. while he has that wide, brighter than the sun smile in his arsenal, the smile that is so similar to luffy's. or the troublemaker smirk that he and sabo mirrored off each other. there's something about his smile in particular that is charming in the way that you know if he asked you to get into trouble with him, you'd just have to say yes.

krypto ! superman's devoted protector and companion since birth. you better steer clear of a body guard that meant to protect the man of steel himself. here are some answers and head canons for you !

would clark let his friends take krypto on walks ?

yes, absolutely ! but ONLY to trusted individuals who have the confidence to handle him and additionally know he is a super dog. this pooch is super, and above that he is a trained protection dog. so they should know what to expect. he has been trained to discern scenarios and if he sees fit, he will bite once certain boundaries are stepped over by belligerent strangers. but he is not a vicious dog, just a protector. if a friend knows the dog's behavior, he is safe in anyone's hands to go on a walk. oh, and of course clark will give the fair warnings of walking krypto... if he seems like he is going to chase something by god let go of that darn leash. he will drag you like santa's sleigh. but, by all means he is a well trained walker as long as you don't throw a frisbee for him to catch...

can they give him treats ?

of course ! krypto is a dog at heart. he loves treats. he is a big fan of peanut butter flavor or pumpkin biscuits, or freeze dried meat treats. he will sit straight up vertically on his rear hoping for a treat. if he smells anything he likes in your pocket he will do ANYTHING to please. coming from an excellent working dog line krypto has a high food drive and will do whatever it takes for a treat.

wild card headcanons & facts !

krypto is actually more intelligent than your average dog. he seems to understand human sentences to a degree and commands that have a higher sentence structure than your average one worded command dogs are trained for. he is able to understand if you want him to do specific kinds from lasers from his eyes. on top of understanding complex commands, krypto also seems to understand how to adapt to scenarios and work out who is the bad guy by his own problem solving skills. or the fact that krypto knows to keep a secret identity as well. without the cape he is simply a white dog. with the cape he is krypto the super dog.

krypto is one of the pets that founded, yes founded, the league of superpets. true to form of his superman companion he fights crime with an honorable group consisting of many other superhero pets ! team mates include: titus ( batman's and damien's great dane ), bat cow ( batman's cow) , flexi the plastic bird and more...

krypto can howl so loud the entire world could hear if it puts that much power into it.

this pooch is massive. similar to clark being very large due to krypton’s evolution being ahead of humans + the different in geography and gravity of krypton he is a big boy. hes about the size of grey wolf. but next to clark he seems like the size of an large dog.

he is about 50 years old give or take. older than clark actually.

like most dogs he enjoys a good pet, laying in your lap despite his large size, and snoozing in YOUR bed.

you wont believe it but just like superman's fortress of solitude, krypto has a dog house of solitude. which is a dog on an asteroid in space. thats it. he just goes there to chill and thats about it.

the alien canine wasn't always this intuitive and well trained. at one point krypto needed a whole new rigorous bootcamp of training. back on krypton he was well trained in his job to be a meaningful and stable protection dog. but on earth krypto was liable for all sorts of damage with powers he didnt know how or when to use. on top of that, at one point krypto did become quite aggressive becoming quite hair trigger bitey dog with his new life on earth. for a while the dog lived in the fortress of solitude before clark trained his dog a new set of skills.

after fending off the powerful villain atlas allowing superman to get back on his feet krypto was dubbed the dog of tomorrow !

A collection of headcanons and a bit of a study as well on 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗡𝗘’s canon behavior re: autism, ptsd, etc. 

𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥'𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦: 𝙲𝙷𝙸𝙻𝙳𝙷𝙾𝙾𝙳

𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 had always shown signs of being on the spectrum as a child. But most of it was reasoned to him being a rather precocious child, which he was to a certain extent. And Thomas and Martha occasionally being preoccupied by their important work and position in society to really double down and notice at first. 

It also didn’t help that the majority of 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘's childhood interaction was really with just his Mother and 𝘼𝙇𝙁𝙍𝙀𝘿. Mostly his Mother who he found the easiest comfort in. ( Yes, big old Mama’s Boy. To be fair, his mom’s great. )

They were going to take him to a specialist sometime after his 8th birthday when things had calmed down for Thomas. 

So strictly his most apparent struggle was trying to make friends, trying to understand the nature of actually socializing with kids his age. 

He absolutely lived a sheltered childhood enough that he could sense when moods shifted but he didn’t necessarily understand them ( something he still struggles with today. )

Other signs that were noted throughout his childhood was his obsessive interests ( not only in random puzzles and mysteries but especially the murder of his parents which was also easily presumed to be part of his PTSD. )

His unusual eating and sleeping habits only worsened after his parents’ death. While he would often stay up late or just have general problem with sleep, his parents were usually there to calm him down. His mother being particularly adept in outsmarting a 5 year old that would spend most of the night asking why there are moons and bats and whatever question he could come up with next. 

Eating too was sparse. Sometimes because he was a picky eater. Sometimes he forgot to pay attention to his own body telling him he’s hungry. Or sometimes, he’s too focused on something else to really pay attention. 

Anxiety is kind of 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘's nature, even before his parent’s murder. He especially didn’t like how he would be dragged to events and to parties to participate and have to talk to people. There’s always this overarching sense of dread. Martha and Thomas has always helped him by talking to him like an adult during these situations, give him perspective. But with it also came the haunting responsibility of a legacy a century old on a young boy’s shoulders with the Waynes and the Kanes so deeply ingrained in Gotham’s History. 

𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥'𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦: 𝙰𝙵𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙼𝚄𝚁𝙳𝙴𝚁

The 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗘 - Less behavioral but more of like a pivotal change in 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗡𝗘’s eyes can really be noted after his parents death. It’s metaphorical when we say you’ve watched the innocence die in someone’s eyes. But for 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘, it can be something you can feel especially if you’ve known or met him before his parent’s death. 

It's a very poignant change in his stare.

Some of the symptoms of autism kind of feeds into his symptoms of PTSD which majorly make the first two years after his parent’s death a struggle for 𝘼𝙇𝙁𝙍𝙀𝘿 and 𝙇𝙀𝙎𝙇𝙄𝙀 namely. Since they were really the only people he would interact with to some normalcy. And it was around after his parent’s death that he’d lost contact with his friends, namely 𝙏𝙃𝙊𝙈𝘼𝙎 𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙊𝙏, one if not his only ‘trusted’ childhood friend. 

These symptoms namely being his insomnia. He absolutely tried to avoid sleep as best as he could during those first six months because he’d constantly find himself going back to that night in the alley when he closed his eyes. 

There’s a hypervigilance in him too that pervades from that moment that never really went away even as he grew into it as an adult. But especially for those first few years because they never really found 𝙅𝙊𝙀 𝘾𝙃𝙄𝙇𝙇 until years later after he’d come back as 𝘽𝘼𝙏𝙈𝘼𝙉. 

One major blow back as well from his trauma is his difficulty with affection. Both receiving it and giving it, no matter how minimal it was in the beginning. Because so much of his affection was poured into his parents and so much of his calm and comfort was built around the presence of his parents, it just wasn’t something he could re-learn on his own. He was a child. 

All of it definitely put him in such a state that he had problems going back to school. He had trouble focusing, would get into severely violent fights at 8 that would genuinely just get worse ( even if they were few and far in between ) as he got older. And just kind of shut down. 

And while school in itself had never been his strongest suit, just someone that really worked better on his own or through 𝘼𝙇𝙁𝙍𝙀𝘿’s guidance, none of it helped. As he would still be preoccupied with his parent’s death nearly six years later. 

𝐀. 𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐘𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇'𝐒 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐋: 𝚃𝙴𝙴𝙽 𝚈𝙴𝙰𝚁𝚂 𝙸𝙽𝚃𝙾 𝙰𝙳𝚄𝙻𝚃𝙷𝙾𝙾𝙳

Something that needs to be said, 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 has always been angry. And that anger for him absolutely easily translates to violence because it’s very white man of him. It’s the same rage and anger that he would see in Dick and Jason primarily. Not necessarily part of the study, but i just like thinking about it. 

Seemingly blunt or rude or not interested in others without meaning to is also considered to be a sign of autism in adults but for 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘, it can be a rather fickle rule. Because he favors directness when it comes to conversation and genuinely sometimes does not mean to sound like a jackass when he speaks the way he does. But sometimes, he absolutely is just a rude jackass. So this one might just be a personality trait. 

Like, Yes, 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 is also easily one of the kindest and most compassionate person you might ever get the chance to know if he lets you. But also he’s also just an ass. 

And 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘, by reason, is just a survivalist. He knows how to make weapons with his fists and his words and his intellect just as well as his money if needed. 

And as his depression only got worse, out of desperation to get the vision of seeing his parent’s death haunting him everywhere, he sought out  an illegal session for Electro-Shock Therapy. But not only at the risk of losing his mind, literally as an after effect, but losing his memories of his parents in the process as well, he couldn’t go through with it. 

A great majority of his struggle absolutely did not go away even after his disappearance and training. Some did majorly improve to at least a tolerable degree ( for him. ) He just learned to adapt the struggles with the skills he mastered through his training. 

Mainly his Anxiety. His training with the monks at 𝙉𝘼𝙉𝘿𝘼 𝙋𝘼𝙍𝘽𝘼𝙏 did help him a lot in addressing a lot of his overthinking and worrying and just mainly focusing on centering himself. While also something he does have prescription pills for, although that too he doesn’t take religiously.  

Is him being absolutely covered in a suit for nearly half the day also a metaphor that he does not want to be touched? Yes. 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 absolutely does not like to be touched without permission. By anyone. 

Masking. I can really go how this is both metaphorical, philosophical, etc. but let’s go with mostly the psychological term. It’s definitely something not only he learned as a way of adapting but as necessity would require with him being who he is in the eyes of Gotham and other people. 

Through the years, it has definitely gotten easier. Because 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗡𝗘 as he is to the public is not the same as 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗡𝗘, man behind the cowl. And a lot of the time this does lead to a certain struggle when it comes to his relationships. 

One of the best way to look at it is his relationship with 𝙏𝘼𝙇𝙄𝘼 and 𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙉𝘼, at this point in time, where there is an absolute level of honesty between him and them that there’s no more reason to hide. And they understand him better now in a way that sometimes even he doesn’t understand himself. So relationships with other people, especially those that he likes, still have that middle ground of him being nervous and awkward and absolutely uncertain on how to approach things. But if there’s a level of intimacy that is the same with 𝙏𝘼𝙇𝙄𝘼 and 𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙉𝘼, that awkwardness and nervousness slowly disappears. And honestly, if he’s not even a little bit nervous ( even if he hides it then he probably doesn’t care as much as he thinks he does. ) 

𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 to this point is definitely still officially undiagnosed. But he is definitely in therapy with 𝘿𝙍. 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙎𝙀 𝙈𝙀𝙍𝙄𝘿𝙄𝘼𝙉 and trying to talk and discuss these things better. 

Also absolutely just my headcanon, 𝘿𝘼𝙈𝙄𝘼𝙉 is also on the spectrum. Like Dad. Like son. I just like it.

not to be dramatic, but sofia absolutely hired someone to break in to the old falcone estate and set it alight so that she could claim the compensation for the damages. she then used the money to buy out an entire hotel, where she lives rather lavishly in the penthouse suite.

a few quick notes that i thought were important to mention:

>> despite his desperate need for recognition, edward still enjoys the benefits of anonymity, so while his name is quite well known to the public as the identity of the riddler, his face and voice are another thing entirely. he uses a variety of filters and modulators to alter his appearance and speech whenever addressing his v*ctims (or batman and the gcpd). >> suffers from a mild form of osteoarthritis. it isn’t debilitating, but there are times when he is physically incapacitated due to the severity of the symptoms. this is one of the reasons why he chose to incorporate a cane into the riddler’s ‘aesthetic’, since he often needs one as a mobility aid. >> given edward’s aversion to doctors (and the fact that he’s a wanted criminal), he often self-medicates. most of the time, it’s a concoction of over-the-counter painkillers and anti-inflammatory medication, but he does drink (only until he’s tipsy, never full-blown drunk) and smoke (both nicotine and otherwise) on occasion. however, there are times when he takes harder dr*gs. >> still builds and utilizes a variety of death traps and devices (which are an amalgamation of those found in the telltale game and 2022 movie, but far more saw inspired) in his schemes. however, the intended v*ctims are those he deems deserving of such cruel and unusual punishment, i.e., abusers, predators, corrupt officials and other unsavoury individuals (especially ones that have escaped the law in some way or another).

It kind of makes me chuckle how the only people who call Angel by the proper pronunciation are white people who are either mocking him (gross) or trying to sound cultured.

His literal family just calls him the Americanized version of the name. His club. The people who routinely speak and were raised speaking Spanish.
