He's honestly a breath of fresh air and is actually very chill as a roomie

He is very considerate of you and is like an older brother at times (maybe kinda like a dad too)

You both have cute little study sessions when exams are nearing

has a very comforting aura that soothes your soul

gives the best hugs especially during a draining day or just when you need it

Is very accepting of everything you do like belting high notes in the shower (he snickers when your voice cracks)

or when you're doing a full on dance routine and he catches you mid act, he just drops his things and vibes with you

Unlike him, you struggle with waking up in the morning and once you are awake, you see him fully dressed, preparing his things for the day

He was the one who woke you up by the way

You rush to take a shower and hear him shout that he's leaving first

When you get out of the bathroom you see your bed made, on top is an apple with a little note attached to it

1.小悪魔な後輩は、彼女の柔らかいお腹に僕の手を無理矢理当てがい、爆音の空腹音と圧倒的な振動と愛おしい感触を僕だけに披露してくれる。

2.お互いのことを思い合っているが、あまり話したことのない2人は、同じ電車で学校に行く。しかし、今日の電車はとても混んでいた。

女の子は昨日の夜と朝ごはんを食べていなかったため、とてもお腹が空いていた。満員の列車が揺れた時に2人のお腹がくっつき、鳴らないように我慢していた女の子のお腹は男の子のお腹の上で大きな唸り声を上げてしまう。

女の子はあまりの恥ずかしさで泣きそうになるが、男の子も好きな子の不本意な恥ずかしい音を聞き、思わずドキドキしてしまう。

3.好きな人の前で素直になれない女の子は、「お腹が空いて、今にも大きな音が鳴ってしまいそう」といった状況でもつい強がってしまう。

「大丈夫？」と聞かれてもお腹を小さく鳴らしながら「何でもない」と答え、こっそりとお腹を押さえている。

しかし、飢餓状態の身体は彼女の気持ちなどつゆ知らず、大音量のお腹の音で周囲に助けを求めてしまった。彼女はビクッと身体を硬直させ、悔しそうに顔を赤らめた。

4.ダイエット中は家にいてもお腹がぐうぐう鳴って何もする気が起きないので、図書館で読書をすることにした。

本を読み進めていると、なんだかお腹の様子がおかしい。今にも、家にいる時とは比べ物にならない程の音が鳴ってしまいそうだ。周りは静かだし沢山の人がいる。

冷や汗をかきながら「お願い…鳴らないで…」と祈るも意味はなく、静かな空間に食べ物を乞うみっともない大きな音だけが響いてしまう。

ああ、周りの人々の視線を痛いほど感じる。私は、「恥ずかしい音の犯人です」とアピールしていることに気付かないまま、必死にお腹を抱え込むことしかできなかった。

5.私のお腹は、沢山の食べ物を喜んで吸収して沢山の食べ物を大きな声でところ構わず懇願する。そんな肉付きの良い大きなお腹が恥ずかしい。

6.自分の空腹音に興味がある女の子は、こっそりと通販で聴診器を買った。わざとご飯を抜いたお腹で試してみると、あまりの音の大きさに驚くと同時に恥ずかしくなってしまった。

7.甘えん坊な友達に膝枕をしていると、急激な空腹感に襲ってきた。友達の耳元で爆音が鳴ってしまいそうで、この場から一刻も早く離れないといけないのに身動きが取れない。

でも、万が一お腹が鳴っちゃったとしても…友達は寝てるから聞かれないのでは…？という一縷の望みが頭をよぎったのも束の間。誤魔化しきれないほどの音を轟かせてしまった。

不幸にも友達はお腹が鳴る少し前に起きてしまっており、恥ずかしい音の最初から最後までを全て耳にしてしまった。その後は、2人とも気付かないふりをして過ごした。

BATTLE TRIAL ARC (Chap 7-11): Once the students are at ground Beta...

...All Might explains the students they’ll be split in teams of two, and face each other in two-on-two indoor battle, one team playing the Hero role and the other playing the Villain role. Todoroki Shōto assists to the battle between Bakugō Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku, even commenting it.

Later Shōto, who is in Team B and paired up with Shōji Mezō...

...play the role of the Heroes against Team I formed by Ojiro Mashirao and Hagakure Tōru. Shōji locates where the Villain are then Shōto sends him outside and frozes the entire building so that neither Ojiro nor Hagakure can move or they will have to rip the soles of their feet from ice.

In it, in addition to his birthday (11 January) we learn his height is 175cm and that his favorite thing are "Soba noodles (the kind that aren’t hot)" (そば（溫かくないやつ）'Soba (atatakaku nai yatsu').

It also confirms that, same as Yaoyorozu, he got in U.A. on special recommendation and not through the exam like the other 18 students.

U.S.J. ARC (Chap 12-21): Todoroki Shōto takes part to the president’s election that takes place on the day after.

He’s one of the four students for which we can’t see how many votes they got, the others being Īda Tenya (who was later told receiving 0 votes), Uraraka Ochako and Hagakure Tōru.

As we know from the election that 3 people didn’t vote for themselves, two of them being Īda andUraraka who voted from Midoriya, this would leave either him or Hagakure being the one who voted for Yaoyorozu (it’ll be later confirmed it was him).

On Wednesday the class is told they’ll have resque training and ride on a bus on the training location, the "unforeseen simulation joint" (ウソ の 災害 や 事故 ルーム 'Uso no Saigai ya Jiko ROOM', lit. "Unbelieveable Disasters Room"). Todoroki Shōto, seated alone behind Bakugō Katsuki and Jirō Kyōka, seems asleep during the ride (his eyes are closed).

As they sleep Asui Tsuyu praises Todoroki to Bakugō.

He takes part to Thirteen’s explanation about what the training will be about but, before the training can start, Villains lead by Shigaraki Tomura appear.

Shōto analyzes the situation. He wonders if the Villains are only where they are or also at the main building and figures if the sensors detecting intruders aren’t working it could be due to one of the Villains’ Quirk. Noticing how they picked up a place far from the rest of the school and with fewer people, he figures they’re probably smarter than they seem and should have an objective since this was a well-coordinated sneak attack.

'Arawareta no wa koko dake ka, gakkō zentai ka... nanni seyo SENSOR ga hannōshi nē nara, mukō ni sō iu koto dekiru “kosei (read: yatsu)” ga irutte kotoda na. Kōsha to hanareta kakuri kūkan soko ni shōninzū (read: CLASS) ga hairu jikanwari... BAKA da ga AHO janē kore wa nanrakano mokuteki ga atte, yōi shūtō ni kakusaku sa reta kishūda.' 「現れたのはここだけか、学校全体か・・・何にせよセンサーが反応しねぇなら、向こうにそういうこと出来る“個性(ヤツ)”がいるってことだな。校舎と離れた隔離空間　そこに少人数(クラス)が入る時間割・・・バカだがアホじゃねぇ　これは　何らかの目的があって、用意周到に画策された奇襲だ。」 “Did they only appear here, or in the whole school? In any case, if the sensor doesn't respond, then there's a 'Quirk (read: guy)' on the other side that can do that. It's an isolated space separate from the school building. They entered when on the timetable there was a small number of people (read: a class)...Those stupid, aren't stupid. This is a carefully planned surprise attack with some kind of purpose."

Kurogiri warps the students in different locations.

Shōto ends alone in the "Landslide Zone" (土砂 ゾーン 'Dosha ZONE')...

...along with a bunch of Villains and, the second he’s warped there, he uses his ice Quirk to freeze all the Villains with him (8 in the anime, though in the anime another will pop up).

’Kodomo hitori ni nasa ke nē na. Shikkari shiro yo, otona daro’ 「子ども一人になさけねぇな。しっかりしろよ大人だろ」 ”You lost to a single child, huh. Come on, you're adults.”

Shōto starts by mocking the Villains' strategy...

'Chirashite korosu... ka. Ichiya warui ga anta-ra dō mitemo '"kosei” o moteamashita yakara' ijō ni wa miuke rarenē yo’ 『散らして殺す・・・か言っちや悪いがあんたらどう見ても「”個性”を持て余した輩」以上には見受けられねぇよ』 "Scatter and kill, huh? I'm sorry to say this, but no matter how you look at it, I don't see you as anything more than 'people with too much 'Quirk'.'”

...and he has figured even though at first the Villains seemed to be elite, actually only four or five of them would be really dangerous and they’re merely thinking with their high numbers they can overwhelm All Might and kill him. Shōto then sits down and warns the Villains their skin risks on rotting away due to frostbites but he doesn’t want to let this happen as he’s going to be a Hero so he wants them to tell him their plan. In the anime he’s even scarier, threatening to freeze them further.

'(FUTA o akete mirya seito-tachi-yō (read: ore-tachi yō) no KOMA… CHINPIRA no yose atsume janē ka… mita kagiri ja hontō ni abuna-sōna ningen wa… 4 ~ 5 nin hododatta… to suruto)’ （フタを開けて見りゃ生徒達用(俺たちよう)のコマ…チンピラの寄せ集めじゃねぇか…見た限りじゃ本当に危なそうな人間は…4~5人程だった…とすると) ”(When I opened the lid, I saw the pawns for the students (us)... are a bunch of thugs... there were only about 4 or 5 people who looked really dangerous...)”

`Nā. Kono mamaji ya anta-ra jiwajiwato karada ga eshishiteku wakena nda ga… ore mo HERO shibō sonna hidē koto wa narubeku saketai…' 「なあ。このままじゃあんたらじわじわと身体が壊死してくわけなんだが…俺もヒーロー志望そんな酷え事はなるべく避けたい…」 ”Hey. If it keeps going like this, your body will slowly die of necrosis...I want to be a hero too, and I want to avoid such terrible things as much as possible..."

While the Battle Trial arc works as introduction for Shōto, giving us basic into like his Quirk’s name or how he got into U.A. because recommended, it also works to establish him as a powerful Quirk user, showing him to end his fight quickly and easily and going so far as to impress Bakugō, the following U.S.J arc works to set up how Shōto isn’t just all powerful Quirk and no brain but can also analyze things. However, even though he’s not as aggressive and passionate as Bakugō, he shows a rude and confident streak and he’s fundamentally pretty cold when he blackmails the Villains into telling him their plan.

私ども夫婦はどちらも飲んべえの血筋、一年365日の晩酌は欠かさない。休肝日などと言う不健康な言葉は辞書には無く、規則正しく飲み続けている。今日はツレアイの誕生日、これもいつも通り酒好きの3男からプレゼントが届いた。確かに若い頃は飲み過ぎての二日酔い、肝臓に負担をかけたこともあったがそれも今は昔、近頃は飲みすぎる前に寝てしまうことが当たり前。いつまでも好きな酒とすごすこと、それには飲み過ぎることを控えねばと、気持ちも新たにしたのであった。

5時15分起床。

日誌書く。

洗濯機回す。

朝食は昨晩のすき焼きの後に用意しておいたうどんを頂く。

珈琲。

洗濯物干す。

何も予定がないので、各自片付けや読書など。

どうも、こんにちは。2月24日（土）は、阪奈園へら鮒センターに行ってきました。前回、川鵜が鮒を襲っているのを見て、釣果に影響あるんとちゃうかな〜と思い、足が遠のいてたんですが、howellsさんに状況を聞いてみると「7枚釣れたよ〜」って感じで川鵜はいなかったそうで、ならイケるんとちゃう？

howellsさんは、前回は2号池中桟橋南向きの西寄りが良かったそうで、今日もその辺で釣り開始。カワセミがジャミを捕まえたり、ウグイスが鳴いていたり、長閑でホッコリする池です。阪奈道路の轟音が無ければ…

竹竿は、阪奈園HCでは鉄板の11尺。今日は「池の坊」です。柔らかめで高野竹の粘りが気持ち良い竿です。阪奈園HCにピッタリ。浮子は、舟水の「冬の底釣り極細パイプ」です。

最近はいつもそうなんですが、7時40分頃釣り開始。サワリがほとんど無し。howellsさんは多少サワリがあるそうで、やがて1枚釣らはった。僕も、そのうち…と思っていると、ほとんどサワリの無い状態から「ツン」と節魚信。アワセも決まってボウズ脱出〜。8時43分でした。

良かった〜(´▽｀) ホッ。これでボウズは無くなった。

隣の枡に移動。40分ほどエサを打つとサワるようになった。

だが、しかし…サワるだけで全然釣れねえ。僕の東側に入ったhowellsさんは2枚追加したんだが、こちらはサワるだけ。そのうちサワリも途切れたんで場所替え。攪拌機？の東側の枡に入った人が朝から3枚ほど上げて調子良いので、僕も中桟橋南向きから反対を向いて中桟橋北向きの攪拌機の西側の枡に入った。

だが、しかし…全然釣れねえ。これまで中桟橋上でちょこちょこ移動していたが、南桟橋に移動。南桟橋は、東詰に入った人が全く釣れず帰っていったんだが、西寄りに入ったワシは釣れるんやろか。

いい天気やけど、阪奈園HCは阪奈道路を登った所にあるので、めっさ寒い(^o^;)

2枚目釣るのに手こずったけど、その後はポツポツ釣れて、なんだかんだ午後は6枚釣れました。

なので、2月24日はヘラブナ7枚でした。なんか場所ムラが結構あって、昼から来てポンポン釣ってる人がいたり、朝から釣れなくて昼ごろ帰った人がいたり。真冬は決断力と行動力ですね。魚信がもらえる場所に入ったら釣れる感じ。尺数変更もいいかもね。僕は11尺が鉄板と思ってるので場所替え優先だけど。

Tiktok ships popularity (Japanese tags)

Yesterday I checked the general ship tags on tiktok, and how popular they were. I mainly check all anime and non anime popular ships I could think of (mainly using the ships on the top popular on pixiv and AO3).

You can look at the numbers here, and you can see in general MHA seems extremely popular on tiktok.

I also wanted to check how popular these ships were on Japanese tiktok, or at least among people who might not use the English ship tag, but the Japanese ship tag. For this I only checked MHA ships.

It is a very simple graph as it is one number (million of visualizations per tag), but I think it is quite interesting:

I found these results very interesting!!

Bakudeku is first, not surprisingly, and it has double the amount of visualizations than second place, which is Todobaku.

Now second place is surprising. Usually, on pixiv, Tododeku is in second place, followed by Todobaku and then Kiribaku. Instead we have Todobaku in second place, and Kamijirou in third place. This IS surprising, given that FM ships are not that popular on pixiv, and usually Todomomo is the most popular FM popular ship on pixiv.

In fourth place we have Tododeku, then Kiribaku, Izuocha, Kacchako and Todomomo. Todomomo here seems to be flipped in popularity.

I do not know why but I have a hypothesis: pixiv gives a total picture that sum up all the fanarts through time. So at the beginning of the manga, Tododeku and Todomomo used to be a lot more popular (confirmed also by the AO3 timeline graphs I posted before).

Tiktok instead is a younger website, so the numbers might be more influenced by recent popularity of ships, especially given that it seems like its explosion in popularity comes from 2020 onwards. So I do think this might be a reason, with Bakudeku, Todobaku, Kamijirou being more popular in recent times.

【常威近代史】（八百零五回）

本是同根生 相煎何太急

1939年6月9日，日本飛機27架，分三批空襲重慶。自從1938年12月26號，就在汪精衛出走而蔣介石抵達重慶之後，重慶第一次受到日軍空襲重創，呢個係個象徵性行動，目的在於對國民黨官員、商人、以及各行各業及一般平民百姓進行威脅，表示繼續支持蔣介石係要承受沉重嘅代價，從1939年春天開始，日本投入海軍同埋陸軍的空中武力，當時嘅日本仲未有獨立嘅空軍部隊。轟炸行動一直打擊國民政府大後方，主要係對城市、工業設施以及鹽場進行持續轟炸。日本人嘅想法亦都好清楚，轟炸手段可以避免陸戰造成嘅財務同埋人力損失，以及可能戰敗嘅尷尬，借此逼迫國民政府接受日本嘅停戰條件，亦係日本推動喺中國扶植一個全新嘅偽政權動作中嘅硬手段。

事實上，要去到1940年夏季，日本先真正喺技術上有能力執行恐怖轟炸行動，亦即係有能力對城市居民進行大規模且持續性嘅空襲，原因是1940年夏天，三菱零式艦載戰鬥機（Mitsubishi A6M Zero）同具有長程轟炸功能嘅一式陸上攻擊機（Mitsubishi G4M）開始出場，關於殺害我唔少中國同胞嘅零式戰鬥機開發歷史，大家可以睇宮崎駿（1941-）2013年嘅動畫《風起了》。1940年之前，並沒有一種戰鬥機具備800公里的續航能力以維護轟炸機從武漢到重慶，後來零式戰鬥機出現，具備5000公里續航能力，而且最大飛行速度可達到時速530公里，而且配備槍炮攻擊武器，因為零式戰鬥機性能過於優異，同盟國飛行員喺1943年之前，都儘量避免同零式戰鬥機進行空中糾纏，日本人的確係惡曬。

6月10號，國聯鴉片委員會喺日內瓦指責日軍喺其侵略區強逼群眾種植鴉片，毒害中國人民，真係有幾個仆街冚家剷就有幾仆街冚家鏟。6月11號，國共摩擦進一步加劇，國民黨河北省民軍總指揮張蔭梧（1891-1949）率領部隊襲擊冀中深縣八路軍後方機關，慘殺400幾人，造成驚震世人嘅「深縣慘案」。6月12號，國民黨楊森（1884-1977）部隊包圍新四軍設喺湖南嚴江嘅通訊處，殺害新四軍參議涂正坤（1897-1939）、少校副官羅梓銘（1907-1939）等6人。國民黨五屆五中全會後，國共之間嘅摩擦事件不斷發生，單響陝甘寧邊區，從1938年12月去到1939年10月，先後發生摩擦事件150多單，真係血濃於水，相煎何太急？

6月12號，教育局規定8月27日孔子誕辰為教育節，原本6月6號教育節取消。6月13號，中國同蘇聯喺莫斯科簽訂關於借貸中國1.5億美元天文數字嘅協定，之前已經講過，借現金，用貨物還錢。同日，北大文科研究所喺昆明重招研究生，軍事委員會頒佈《優待俘虜須知》，戰爭雖然唔係請客食飯，但係必須要尊重戰俘人權，大家都好清楚，日本人喺依一方面做到舉世矚目，堪稱遺臭萬年。

6月16號《中蘇通商條約》喺莫斯科簽訂，同日，日本五相會議通過汪精衛擬定嘅《收拾時局具體辦法》；6月17號，陝西省政府決定整修黃帝陵，並設立陵園管理處。6月21號，蔣介石電令雲南省政府主席龍雲（1884-1962），派出部隊保護滇越鐵路橋樑。今日，日軍喺汕頭附近登陸，6月23號，日軍喺浙江定海登陸。6月26號，陳誠（1898-1965）奉蔣介石命令，默定《共黨問題處置辦法》。今日教育部決定本年度國立各大學及獨立學院統一招考新生，6月26號，中英合資嘅著名企業中福聯合署遷至重慶辦公，中福聯合儲嘅錢稱為福中總公司，1915年由英國公司與官商合辦嘅河南省中原煤礦股份公司合組。抗戰爆發之前，該公司煤炭產量一直穩居全國第三，抗戰期間，其先控股天府礦業公司，繼而合辦嘉陽、石燕、威遠等媒礦，幾乎壟斷咗重慶與川北嘅煤炭市場，國府嘅優惠政策，促使該處嘅煤礦投資對戰時大後方經濟起咗至關重要嘅作用。

6月28號，汪精衛返去上海，6月29號同維為新政府要員會談，為建立偽中央政權做好準備，呢個時候，日本政府亦正式喺上海設立「梅機關」，專門處理同汪精衛有關嘅一切聯繫。6月29號，輪船招商局3300噸嘅「江新輪」由宜昌駛至川光，安全抵達重慶，成為第一艘駛抵重慶嘅大型輪船。之前川江航線上嘅輪船，最大嘅唔超過1500噸，「江新輪」不但安全抵達重慶，而且開始航行於重慶（渝）同萬縣綫營業，之後招商局嘅「江順」、「江安」、「江漢」等同級輪船亦陸續駛到重慶。

6月30號，國民政府公佈《限制異黨活動辦法》，限制中共同埋知識份子嘅言論及行動。該辦法規定各界民眾均應加入一個法定團體，由國民黨員領導，令到民眾接受訓練同埋監督，派遣國民黨員任保甲長，即係進行政治警察任務，對中共活動最激烈嘅地區實行聯保連坐法，令民眾不敢同共產黨人接近，減低被利用嘅機會。同事，仲規定喺保甲組織中建立通信網，方便隨時隨地監視同埋限制共產黨活動，對華中、華北、西北地區，仲詳細佈置防止中共勢力擴大嘅軍事建設，不過無論蔣介石用咗幾多辦法同手段，佢都冇辦法防止中共喺抗戰期間不斷坐大，有啲事叫做——覆水難收。

1939年6月於然結束。
