It's okay and normal for alters to be inconsistent. It's okay and normal if you sometimes act differently and didn't switch. Alters aren't always consistent and don't always act the same and sometimes act "out of character" and that happens, and it's a normal part of the disorder. You're not a character. You're a person, and sometimes, because of factors or for seemingly no reason, you might act differently, and that's fine

It's also okay and normal if your alters are similar or sometimes/usually act the same. Not every alter is going to be very overt and openly distinct, and that's okay. It doesn't mean you're faking it or that you're less of a system

Being a system is a complicated experience, and alters don't always fit into neat little boxes. Sometimes, alters aren't consistent. Sometimes, alters don't act very different from each other. Sometimes, there's an overlap in how alters act/respond to situations. Sometimes, alters remember things they weren't "there" to experience. Being a system is an inherently messy experience, and you're not faking or "less of a system" for experiencing any of these

for someone identifying as a physical nonhuman, i dont really feel my phantom limbs all that much. i suppose it makes sense in a weird way-- i don't exactly feel my "human" ears, so why would i my doberman ones? i only feel them when i'm deliberately putting on a show (usually that of confidence or anger, as that seems to be the emotion my dog-self... embodies.) i feel my doberman tail often enough, although that more manifests as a point of pain than anything else.

on the contrary, though, i feel my therian phantom limbs are lot more often, as they were more integral to my past life than my dog ears are to my current one. i was a dragon in a past life, a hivewing-- and we had a row of flexible spines lying across our backs that we used in a plethora of ways. to communicate, to show emotion, to make noise, literally anything. i feel them constantly, pressed under my shirt-- flaring open when someone pisses me off, clicking together in an attempt to make music-- i feel them now, just thinking about it.

idk. i just found this realization interesting. i wouldn't feel my doberman ears intrinsically-- i am a dog now, and no one can actually see my ears, henceforth, my brain doesnt make the connection to use them unless i'm actively engaging in dog behavior. but my dragon spines-- i have already lived a life using these things, they come naturally to me, henceforth, i feel them consistently.

Quick post of a few alternative flags I made for some arissomei terms:

Arissosight: An arissomei term for when one experiences a disconnect from their sight in someway, which makes the person feel disconnected from their external body. This can be caused by atypical dysphoric, delusional / irl attachments, due to being a system member, psychosis, etc, but is never voluntary or just for aesthetics.

Arissoblind: An arissosight subterm for when one experiences a disconnect from their ability to see in someway, which makes the person feel disconnected from their external body. This can be caused by atypical dysphoric, delusional / irl attachments, due to being a system member, psychosis, etc, but is never voluntary or just for aesthetics.

Arissomei terms, in general, are not radqueer/transid friendly, do not support transitioning, and are against misinformation or fetishization of things such as race, nationalities, mental illnesses, disabilities, or ethnicities.

Heres a slay the princess theory I feel like getting it out there: However you played the first time becomes a voice for you the second time. I haven't played the update yet so I could be wrong. I thought of this because if you just kill her the first time and stay distant and cold, you get a voice called "The Voice Of the Cold" and its like apathetic. There's other examples, like if she kills you the first time, you can get a voice that's terrified of seeing her and if I remember correctly, he has a line that's something like "No, Not again" which kind of lends credence to my theory

I just felt like getting it out there before I play the update. Also last time I played the game was like in October so I'm sorry if some of my evidence is vague
