TODAYBORDAY IS LABOR DAY
Brought to you by your local children's librarian! 😊
Tumblr media
The library today is, obviously, closed. Thank goodness. However, we were open earlier this weekend, and I was grateful to have been given a chance to make a labor day display in the children's department!
And Y'ALL. Pickings were SLIM. Believe it or not, but society at large does NOT like teaching children about worker's rights, unionizing, and negotiations! 😭 Never fear, however, because I, under an extreme time crunch (3pm on a friday right before labor day) came up with a short list on kids' books that might help get thoughts flowing on what Labor Day means to us as a country. Good ol' 'Merica or whatever we're saying these days.
Behold: a kid's labor day reading list! ⬇
Tumblr media
The candy conspiracy : a tale of sweet victory is classic "boss gets a dollar, I get a dime" story about the power of labor and bargaining. With candy! 🍫🍭🍬 Quick, sweet, and good enough to eat.
Tumblr media
Click Clack Moo: Cows that Type is a great story about negotiating for better working conditions. That's right, the barnyard goes on strike for electric blankets and a diving board in the duck pond! A silly, quick read, told largely by the typewritten letters from the cows themselves. Click Clack, Moo!
Tumblr media
Hey, remember when children used to have to work countless hours for pennies a day if that just to possibly die or be permanently disfigured on the job? The traveling camera : Lewis Hine and the fight to end child labor is the story of one man's quest to document child labor all across the country in hopes of finally ending it for good— through the work of the National Child Labor Committee. Remember to thank labor laws for the good they've done in your life!
Tumblr media
Every student in the country ought to learn about exactly how many people died unnecessary deaths in the industries before workplace safety laws were implemented nationwide. The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire : core events of an industrial disaster is a nonfiction title about the how and whys of this horrific event. The most famous of its kind, we should not forget the people lost due to casual workplace cruelty and the demands of overwork.
Tumblr media
Teach children to respect blue collar and working class heroes in Real Superheroes: a celebration of essential workers! From the people who keep our towns and cities free of debris and contaminants to healthcare professionals to emergency services, every down and dirty job is held by someone who keeps our towns up and running. Thanks, everyone! (I also recommend Night Job for the same reasons; very sweet, very good at portraying what a school janitor does as their work.)
I was going to add a book on the Mine Wars in West Virginia, since one recently published for a younger age group, but it was more teen than kid friendly unfortunately so I ended up cutting it. I was able to find another book on a different circumstance, however:
Tumblr media
The real history of the transcontinental railroad covers a bevvy of relevant topics from the displacement of Native people in the west, the exploitation of Chinese immigrants, worker's rights, and the lingering ghost of Manifest Destiny that haunts this country to this day. Not every kid is ready for intersectional thinking on racism, xenophobia, and colonization, but at the very least, kids are very good at recognizing when a situation is "fair" or "unfair". Let them chew on this for a little bit and see what conversations come out of it.
Happy Labor Day, everyone! Be safe, be strong, and work in groups!

I’ve gone down the Wonka rabbit hole and I’m loving the ride! 🍫🍭🍬💝
What would you think of a fic about Timothee!Willy x reader’s wedding day? It would take place after the movie events, so all their friends would be there. Which means Noodle would be the flower girl/maid of honor. I can see the ceremony taking place in a garden much like Wonka’s shop/factory. And naturally there’d be a chocolate wedding cake. All in all, it’s the happiest day of their lives.
It’s up to you.
ℋ𝒶𝓅𝓅𝒾ℯ𝓈𝓉 𝒹𝒶𝓎 ℴ𝒻 𝓂𝓎 𝓁𝒾𝒻ℯ
𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭
ahh i love this sm! It’s too cute not to do, it’s kinda short ):
Tumblr media
You took a deep breath before you walked down, opening your closed eyes and beginning to walk.
Willy had a large smile on his face as he saw you, you smiled back at him, your eyes then went to Noodle who was giving you a little wave. You waved back to the girl, and then looked back to Willy.
He had the largest smile on his face, tears glossed over his eyes as he looked at you. You looked breathtaking, you were.
And he did begin to cry as he spoke his vows, how you made him the happiest man alive and how you were the best thing to ever come into his life.
You smiled, wiping away your own tears at the sweetest words you’ve ever heard. You had to fight the urge to kiss him right then and there.
“You may now kiss the bride.”
And with those words, his hands cupped your face, his eyes fluttering shut as you both kissed, this kiss would be engraved into your mind, you would remember it every day, and so would he.
People cheered and clapped, Noodle smiled at the both of you. In that moment, it was only the two of you, getting lost in each other for a little until you both pulled away, he had a dopey smile on his face and you had one on your own.
You ended up smashing the chocolate cake in the face as he laughed, wiping it from his face and smothering you with kisses as you squealed and people laughed.
“Thank you for coming.” You spoke to Noodles mom.
“Of course. Congratulations.” She said, Noodle smiled and gave you both a hug.
“You were the best flower girl I’ve ever seen.” You said to her, she smiled at you and said goodbye.
After the wedding, you both drove off in his little blue car, Glenn Millers hit song blaring from the newly installed radio, a large smile on Willy’s face as he turned it up.
He wanted to tell his mom that he finally made it, that he had found the perfect person for him and that he was the happiest he’s ever been.

Tumblr media
It’s baking day. Your kitchen is stolid with the heat of the oven and the treats cooling on the counter. Your apartment has been converted into a pseudo chocolate factory; though you wouldn’t claim Wonka’s glory. You are certain to keep to food-safe standards however and so your morning began with sanitization, another two hours on top of a long day.
It’s a few weeks out to the next show; a local festival that hosts all sorts of local shops, though the biggest attraction are the musical acts. Even so, you’re hustling as best as you can. You spent a portion of the baking show profit to get a kiosk in the mall for the holiday weekend. It’s a big deal, you expect a crowd and now you have an idea of how much you’ll need to bring.
You sigh as you tally up what you have so far. You’ll be in the kitchen all week at this rate and you don’t think even then you’ll meet your set quota. You’ll still do well but you can’t help the echo of that man’s words. You’re hitting a wall on your own.
And you’re running low on red cacao. You frown at the slack canvas bag. That’s another trip to the bulk seller down by the freeway but that’s so far out, it’ll eat at least an hour and a half off your day.
He’s right. That pompous snakish man is right. You can’t keep up with the demand.
No, you can. You’ll bake into the night if you have to. It’ll be cooler then, anyhow. You inventory your cupboards as the oven radiate with heat. You have a list. Tomorrow you can get to that but for now, you’ll start packaging the chocolates in the fridge.
You count out the truffles and fudge squares precisely. Each one in a sleeve or a box. You’ll add all the little details later; a ribbon, a bow, a seal. You yawn at the repetition but aren’t bored by it. Having your own business isn’t exactly dull, if anything it’s tantalizingly stressful.
Your tablet dings as the baking show you keep on stream quiets for the notification. The woman’s voice returns to full volume as you approach to check the icon in the margin. It’s from your online shop front. Between the physical work, you can’t forget about the healthy tide of orders coming in virtually.
It adds to the weight on your shoulders. You slump and drag down the notification bar. It’s large order and before you can skim each item, another notification sweeps in. You tap the inquiry so that the message opens.
The inquiry is labeled with the same order number that just came up. You squint. ‘...requires in-person to order address...’ You don’t do that. It isn’t an option but the customer’s tone comes of insistent even over text. They promise a gratuity and underline that they did pay for the expedited option.
That’s the first position you’re hiring when you can make the space. A customer service representative because you hate this. You go back to review the full order. It’s a lot; a lot of baking and a lot of money.
You’ll have to make it work yet there’s this needling voice in the back of your head, slithering and sharp, you can’t keep this up forever.
🍫
Surely, it’s the wrong address.
You idle in your large SUV, the nearly two-decade old model puttering between the sleek modern cars the fill the spaces outside the luxurious storefront. You gulp as you peer up at the moniker. You recognise the brand and the logo.
Black Snake. It’s some sort of trick. You should have been suspicious.
The chocolatier isn’t unknown to you beyond your encounter with its owner. While the headquarters are nestled right at the heart of your city, there are locations across the country and even a few international. The local start-up boomed onto the front page and you can’t say it had nothing to do with your own come up. You offer a more affordable option with the same premium taste.
You suppose he doesn’t like the competition. You wouldn’t either but you put yourself out there against the Black Snake monopoly knowing you would be trudging uphill. You get out and try not to think too much.
You unlock the hatch and take out the large box stamped with your business name; Sweet Nothings. You approach the front door, trying to see through the tinted windows that form the front wall, and it opens before you can reach it. Shoot, he’s expecting you.
“Ah, right on time,” Loki greets as he checks his watch. “I see you’ve no branding on your vehicle.”
You try not to cringe. He has an eye for detail. You bite down on your smile.
“Hello again,” you try to act like his foreboding hasn’t haunted you for a week, “I have everything in here--”
“I didn’t see a reselling clause on your terms of service,” he proclaims smugly, “these should be popular.”
“Ah,” you hesitate as he steps out of the door to hold it open for you, “you’ve paid so I guess I can’t stop you.”
“Mm, and how is business then? You are quick to respond. Can’t be very hectic, then.”
You take the jab like a weathered boxer. You don’t flinch, you just keep going. You stride inside and look around. You carry the box to the empty space the counter.
“As promised, I will transfer a fee for your trouble,” he follows quickly.
“Thanks, uh, I should--” you face him as he blocks your path.
“You’ve a pop-up. This coming weekend.”
The advert is at the top of your online shop. Of course, he would know. His diligence is starting to eke you out.
“I do,” you confirm, “so I should be off.”
“Yes, you have much work to do. Tell me, how many ovens do you have going?”
Your expression falls, “you spent all this money to mock me?”
“No, I’m simply discussing business. Seeing as I am experienced, I thought I might offer some sage advice,” he flutters his long fingers.
“I appreciate that, really, but I am running a business, same as you, so if you would like to discuss that, you are more than welcome to make a proper appointment with me. Like a business person.”
He snickers at the slant in your voice, the tone that insists you’re legitimate like him.
“I didn’t see that option on the store front,” he counters.
“You have my card,” you sniff and step around him. “Feel free to let me know if you have any concerns about your order.”
“Wait--” He calls after but you’re already halfway through the door.

Hidden Anger
A Willy Wonka x Reader oneshot
Author's Note: Hello! Welcome to my first one-shot! This one is centered around Wonka! The formula for this oneshot and future one-shots is that it can be canon to my initial story that I wrote for the character or one just for fun that doesn't connect to the story.
For this particular one, it can be seen as canon or not. I'll let you decide, but there are some elements from the main story in here and from my own personal headcanons of Timothée's Willy Wonka.
On a side note, let me know in the comments if you want me to make headcanons for Willy Wonka or any other of Timothée's characters.
One last thing, the reader's gender is neutral, so anyone can read it! This will be the case for the majority of my oneshots, unless I specifically say something else.
Hope you enjoy it! ♥️
🍬🍫🍭
Summary: Wonka reopens his first shop as he prepares to build his new factory. Yin is always there to help and support him, but Yin has some deep sent feelings about what happened to the shop the first time they opened.
🍫🍬🍭
Tumblr media
Emotions are a complex thing.
They can be positive or negative.
Sometimes a positive emotion can be displayed in a toxic way. And sometimes, feeling a negative emotion can be a healthy thing.
You feel them in the moment, and sometimes you still feel them after the moment is over.
The latter is what Yin was feeling.
🍫🍬🍭
Ever since Willy Wonka, their boyfriend, reopened his shop to make more money to aid in the building of his factory, Yin felt those feelings they felt when they shop first opened.
At first, they were so excited and proud of Willy for accomplishing his dreams and finally being able to sell chocolate without the police chasing after them.
Not to mention the love he felt from everyone as they helped him accomplish his dream and all the people that came in and felt so happy to be there.
Above all, Yin felt like they were on cloud nine when they and Willy shared their first kiss behind the chocolate cherry tree.
But all those positive emotions quickly soured when they found out that the shop was set up for sabotage and as the shop burned, their emotions switched to anger, rage, resentment and vengeful.
They were angry at Scrubbit and Bleacher for poisoning the chocolate, ruining Willy's business.
They were angry at the Chocolate Cartel for putting the idea into those two's minds and for all the other stunts they pulled to try to knock Wonka down a peg.
They were angry at the Police Chief for contributing with the cartel.
Yin eventually came to terms with those situations. But there was one that still made them seethe with rage.
That was the townsfolk and what they did to Willy's shop when they found out about the poisoned chocolate.
Instead of pointing fingers at the possibility of someone from the outside that did the sabotage, they all blamed Wonka and promptly destroyed the shop in front of him as he begged them to stop. But the final straw for Yin, was when the Duchess cut the rope holding the chandelier, making it fall and start a fire. It burned most of the interior to ash.
All of this, made Yin dislike them.
They kept their anger hidden as Willy reopened the shop. Yin worked as Willy's partner in everything since the other washhouse workers were back to their own lives, and Noodle now lived with her mother.
There was Lofty the Oopma Loompa who as Yin suggested to be Head of the Tasting Department, but he wasn't around much.
This didn't bother Yin. Not at all. They loved working in the shop with their boyfriend. It brought so much joy to their life, seeing their boyfriend smile so brightly and talk endlessly about new creations he came up with.
No, what bothered Yin was that it was harder to conceal their anger around Willy as he interacted with the customers with that adorable smile on his face.
They had to work extra hard not to let their feelings get the best of them.
🍫🍬🍭
Yin was standing by the front desk, sorting the little real sovereign they had at the moment. Since they gave the option of credible or edible cash, they wasn't always a lot of real money in the cash register, since most go for edible. But there was a good amount today so Yin had to count the money to be sure.
Yin's rage today was almost nonexistent. They were slowly starting to forgive the townsfolk for what they did. They even saw the elderly man that first came into the shop come back and he greeted Yin with a gentle and sincere smile. Yin smiled back at him and greeted him in return and they had a conversation about candy while he was paying for the sweets.
Yin even saw some of the townsfolk personally go up to Willy, who was always out and about, interacting with the guests and answering questions about anything they ask, and even helping some of the little ones who can't reach certain areas to try some of the sweets they offer; and would apologize profusely to him for what happened before. Of course, precious, sweet and understanding Willy Wonka, forgave them.
The sight of Willy's kindness made Yin's heart soar. It was one of the many reasons why they fell in love with him.
But for some reason, they couldn't help but feel upset that Willy forgave the townsfolk so easily. What they did was horrible, a crime, really. But because the police were so corrupted during that period, no one faced consequences. Sure, the Chocolate Cartel, the Police Chief, along with Scrubbit and Bleacher, were all arrested for their various crimes. But Yin couldn't help but feel like there should've been some repercussions for damage to property and arson on the townspeople.
"Excuse me?"
Yin's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a customer's voice. Yin turned to look at the customer as they spoke in their normal cheerful voice, "Yes? How can I-"
But they stopped mid sentence. The customer they were looking at was none other than the Duchess who started the fire and her daughter.
Yin felt the familiar boil of rage bubble up inside their stomach. They clenched their fists at their sides to try to suppress their anger, not wanting to lash out, especially in front of everyone.
Yin cleared their throat and spoke again. "How may I help you, ma'am?" Yin asked again, this time, their tone a bit forced as they tried their best to keep the anger down.
The Duchess looked a bit confused by the slight change in demeanor but continued with her question. "Do you know where Mr. Wonka is?"
Yin had to bite their tongue to keep from saying anything they'll regret. Yin composed themselves and replied, "He's over there." Yin pointed to the back of the store where said chocolatier was interacting with an enthusiastic young boy.
"Thank you." The Duchess replied and bent down to her daughter, "Now honey, stay in the store. I'll be back."
"Okay, Mommy." The little girl replied as the woman started walking towards Mr. Wonka.
Yin let out a sigh of relief. They almost lost their cool a few moments ago. One more second, and they probably wouldn't be able to control themselves.
"Excuse me?"
The sound of the little girl talking caught their attention again. Yin turned to the child. "Yes, dearie?" They said, their tone back to its happy roots.
"Are you upset with my mom?"
The question took Yin off guard. They weren't expecting this little girl to catch on like that. Before they could reply, the girl spoke again, "I understand if you are. What she did was mean."
Yin nodded in agreement. "Yeah.... it was mean." They whispered, looking down.
"I'm sorry for what she did to Mr. Wonka's shop the first time. I didn't know she would go that far. I was okay with the mustache. It was fun." The girl giggled at the memory.
Yin stepped from behind the desk and squatted down to be at the girl's height. "You don't have to apologize to me, sweetie." They said, their tone comforting. "You did nothing wrong. Your mother was in the wrong."
"Still. I'm sorry she ruined your partner's shop. He must've been very sad." The girl's tone was so sweet and innocent that it made Yin's heart melt. They nodded again, looking down at the floor, "Yeah. Mr. Wonka was very sad."
Yin remembered that day vividly. The sadness, the tears, the bubbling rage they felt at the whole situation; but kept it down as to not upset his boyfriend more. They bit their bottom lip and their eyebrows furrowed in anger.
Yin inhaled and exhaled softly to calm themselves before any of those emotions would bubble up to the surface. Yin looked at the girl and gave her a smile.
"How about we walk around and you try more of the treats around here?" They suggested.
The little girl beamed. "Yes! Thank you!"
Yin stood up and took the little girl's hand as they explored the shop.
Anything to forget the rage temporarily.
When it was time for the girl to leave, Yin took back downstairs to meet with her mother. Yin restrained themselves as the Duchess and Mr. Wonka came up to them.
"There you are sweetie. Did you have fun?" The mother asked her child.
"Yes! Yin was so nice and helpful!"
Yin replied in a strained tone again. "It was no problem." They said, trying to control their anger as they looked at the Duchess.
The woman felt a little confused again, seeing Yin being passive-aggressive with her. But she just decided to leave. She held her daughter's hand, and they left waving at Yin and Willy Wonka. Yin did wave back, but their other hand was behind their back, clenched into a tight fist.
Unfortunately, Willy Wonka saw this.
🍫🍬🍭
Willy Wonka was very confused.
He had never seen his partner act in such a way. Yin was always very happy with the customers. But today, something about them seeing the Duchess made them act weirdly.
He remembered the woman walking up to him, a solemn look on her face. He wondered why she was so sad but he got his answer when she apologized for what she did. He was confused and asked for more context. She told him that she was the one to start the fire in the shop. She apologized profusely to him, feeling guilty for her actions and the potential lives she put at stake.
Willy frowned a bit and forgave the woman. He told her that it was brave of her to come forward with this.
After the apology, he showed her around, having her try anything she wanted. She happily obliged.
Then it hit him.
Yin was angry at the woman for what she did to his first shop.
Willy knew then he needed to talk to his partner.
🍫🍬🍭
It was nighttime as the chocolatier closed the shop, and walked to his and Yin's office room on the fourth floor, since the other two floors caved in and were used to create the shop. He walked into the dimly lit office, and saw Yin sitting at the desk in the middle of the room, filling out papers, presumably about the amount they made today for the shop. Yin's eyebrows were furrowed as they angrily wrote the words and numbers out on the paper.
Willy knew something was wrong.
He quietly walked up to his partner.
"You're going to give yourself a headache if you stare at the paper like that for too long." Willy lightly teased.
His voice made Yin look up, his eyebrows still furrowed. Willy placed his hands on his partner's head, and his thumbs started to massage their forehead. The action made Yin soften, and their eyebrows slowly fell back to their normal position.
Willy pressed a kiss onto Yin's forehead. "What's on your mind, gumdrop?" He asked as he grabbed a chair, placing in front of the desk, and sat down, leaning forward on the back of it.
"Are you alright?"
Yin clenched their fists at the question, and they looked down. They didn't want to lash out at Willy. They growled lowly in anger, "I can't forgive."
Willy looked confused. "Can't forgive what?" He asked.
"I can't forgive them." Yin's reply came in a louder growl.
"Who?" Willy asked, starting to get worried.
Yin abruptly stood up and looked up at the slightly startled inventor. Unable to contain their emotions anymore, Yin blurted out, "Them! All of the townspeople! I can't forgive them for what they did! What they did to you! They destroyed your shop! And..." Yin growled, "That woman started a fire. She burned down the shop! She took away your dreams and burned them to ashes! All of them did." Yin's tone slowly turned from anger to slight sadness, but the rage was still there, "They took away what you've been dreaming to do for years! They hurt you, Willy! How can you forgive them so easily?! How?!"
Willy was flabbergasted. He wasn't expecting Yin to burst out with anger.
'How long have they felt like this? Since that day?' He thought to himself.
Yin was breathing heavily after their outburst, their body trembling with vengeful rage. But after a couple seconds, their bottom lip started to tremble. Their gaze softened and tears started to well up in their eyes. They sat back down on the big chair behind the desk, now a foot away from the chair, and the tears escaped their eyes, rolling down their cheeks. Yin started to cry as they leaned forward and placed their head on their hands.
"I tried. I tried.... to forgive them. I really did. And... and I... made progress.... but... it's... it's so hard. They hurt the man I love most. More than anything." Yin cried, sniffling in between their words. "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry."
Willy frowned at the sight of his crying partner. He removed his top hat, placing it on the desk, and walked over to Yin. He squatted down in front of them and took Yin's hands in his. "Oh, sugar cube. It's okay. It's okay." He cooed, pressing a kiss on the back of both Yin's hands individually.
"You've thought about this for some time, haven't you?"
Yin sniffled, looking at Willy before nodding. "I didn't think about at first. With all that happened afterward, it got pushed to the back of my mind. But then... after we defeated the Cartel, and got them, and everyone else involved behind bars... the thoughts came back and... it made me.... so upset."
Willy nodded and stood up, slowly pulling Yin with him by their hands. Yin followed as he sniffled. The two stood in front of each other for a while. The worried chocolatier pulled his upset partner into his arms, hugging him. Yin hugged back instantly, nuzzling their face into the crook of Willy's neck.
"Let's go home, marshmallow." Willy whispered. Yin nodded into Willy's neck. The two pulled away a little but kept their arms wrapped around each other as they walked to the top floor of the building to their shared apartment. It resided above the shop. It was a quaint little home, decorated with various decor that both liked.
The two get to their shared bedroom, and they both sat on the bed side by side.
"I just learned to forgive." Willy whispered, after a few moments of silence.
"Hmm?" Yin hummed, turning their head to the inventor. Willy took Yin's hand.
"I learned that you eventually have to forgive. You can't hold a grudge forever. It stops you from growing as a person. You won't be able to find your future if you're stuck in the past. That's why I always look forward."
Willy turned to Yin and gave them a smile. "You should try it. Focus on the future and present. Don't hold grudges, my little candy heart. Please?"
Yin melted at Willy's words and the sweet puppy like face he was making. They smiled back and pressed their forehead against Willy's, looking into his hazel green eyes.
"I'll try."

The next day, Yin stood behind the cash register as the shop was once again bustling with excited customers.
They felt lighter than they did yesterday, more upbeat than they felt before.
"Hello Yin!"
At the sound of the familiar voice, Yin turned around and smiled at the sight of the girl from yesterday. "Hello again! Back for more fun and sweets?" They asked, a toothy smile stretched on their lips.
"Yeah!"
"Now honey, I'm sure Yin is very busy."
Yin looked up and saw the Duchess coming up to her daughter, placing a hand on top of the girl's head. Yin shook their head. "It's no trouble at all, ma'am. Your daughter is such great company."
The Duchess was taken aback by Yin, surprised at their behavior today. They were smiling brightly. They seemed more upbeat and less tense.
"Come on, Yin! Let's go!" The girl said excitedly, tugging on Yin's hand. Yin laughed. "Okay, okay, I'll be right there!"
Before Yin could follow, though, the Duchess tapped on their shoulder. Yin turned to her.
"I'm really sorry."
The apology took Yin by surprise.
"I'm sorry for what my deeds in the past. It was very wrong. I acted out of anger. I'm sorry I started that fire and ruined Mr. Wonka's shop."
Yin gave her a gentle smile. "It's alright. I forgive you."
The Duchess' eyes widened in shock. She wasn't expecting Yin to be so forgiving.
"You do?"
"Mm hmm. It happens. Trust me, I know how it feels to act out of anger. Which, by the way, I sincerely apologize for how I acted yesterday. That wasn't professional of me."
The woman shook her head. "No. You had every right to be upset at me."
Yin hummed. "I learned that it's best not to hold grudges. They take you away from the present and eventually the future. It holds you back. You must forgive, forget, and learn from the past so you can grow as a person. It's a great way to live life." They said, smiling.
The Duchess looked at Yin with surprise again. "Those... are very wise words. Who taught you that?"
Yin only smiled wider. "Someone... that I love most dearly."
This made the Duchess smile at Yin. Yin offered to show her around along with her daughter, and she gladly accepted it. The two go after the little girl was excitedly ushering them upstairs.
Willy Wonka watched the whole interaction from his place by the chocolate cherry tree. He smiled sweetly at his partner, proud that Yin was happy again and free from their grudge.
"That's my little marshmallow."
