this is kind of a Dark Dream and Hob AU.

So, you know the song “Copacabana” ? This will make a lot more sense if you do. Dream is Lola, Hob is Tony and Alex is Rico. In my head cannon Tony was the one who shot Rico and he went to prison which is how “Lola lost her love.” So basically Hob shoots Alex and gets sent to prison when they were in their twenties. Well now Dream is pushing 50 and instead of being a “showgirl” he’s the owner of the bar. Then one night a man climbs through the window of his office in the bar. A handsome rugged bear of man with a very distinguished greys at his temple. It’s Hob. Dream is overjoyed to see him but soon finds out that Hob actually escaped prison and is on the run. Well that just won’t do. Now they are both on the run, committing crimes and having glorious victory sex, and if they can find it, a dance party on Alex’s grave.

🎶Her name is Lola, she was a showgirl, but that was 30 years ago🎶 I love this!

I just love the idea of these two as middle aged, slightly washed up criminals on the run. Hob has aged like fine wine but he's still got a dodgy knee, and Dream spent the last few decades moping at a bar so he's not exactly in great shape. Even so, it kind of works out for them? When they do robberies the cameras are always out of battery or pointing the wrong way, so they never get caught! They drive around like a pair of mad bastards in a big flash car, and camp for the night in the woods, and fuck as much as they possibly can. Dream still feels so vulnerable and he basically clings to Hob 24/7, and just imagine how much Hob loves that!! Being in jail all the time was fucking hard even if it was worth every minute!! He'd hold Dream in his arms all the time if he could.

Dream may not be a showgirl anymore, but he can still dance. In the back of the car he perches in Hob’s lap, circling his hips sensuously, baring every inch of his neck to be kissed. He hasn't been with anyone since Hob went to prison, and he has so much desire and pent-up arousal within him. Half of the reason they don't get caught on the run is because they're constantly hiding out in back streets and remotes spots so they can fuck. Even their visit to Alex's grave is inevitably spiced up when Dream gets on his knees and starts sucking Hob off right up against the gravestone.

They're nasty and awful and in love, and the universe is going to let them go on forever <3
