Thinking about Draken coming home late at night from working at the shop. You've been in bed for hours and he's sad that he's missed you.

But he still showers to get the sweat and grime from the day off of his skin before he comes and climbs into bed behind you. He scrubs his fingernails extra hard, too. He doesn't want you to get the ick after seeing how black they've become from them being buried in motor oil all day.

When he gets into bed, it dips because he's so big. And, truth be told, the bed you two scrimped and saved for isn't all that great. It's just a mattress. No box spring. It's on some pallets that him and some of his boys got from behind the grocery store.

You love it, though. You love it because he made it for you. For your shabby little home.

It wakes you when he slowly rubs his hand from your hips around to your belly. He rests his chin softly on your shoulder and kisses your cheek.

"Hi, babies. Missed you today. What'd you do?" He asked in a soft voice - his nighttime voice. His tired voice.

"Hi, Daddy. We mostly laid around today. My feet and back hurt." You roll onto your other side to face him. His face is like a beacon in the blackest void. You will never not look for it. In this life or the next.

You kiss him on the lips.

"Ahhh! Don't go startin' that shit. 'S how we got in this mess 'n the firs' place. Jesus. You're insatiable." He chuckled, burying his face into your swollen chest. "Get some sleep. You have an appointment in the morning, yeh? I'm going, 'k?"

"Mm-hm," you nodded. Your chin bounced on the top of his head.

He pushed himself up and scooted to the foot of the bed.

"Where you goin'?" You pouted and stuck your hand out for him to take so you could drag him back.

"Gon' rub your feet until you pass out. 'M the asshole who woke up my pregnant girlfriend. G'on, shut your pretty eyes, baby. I'll be right here 'n then I'll lay down."

You almost cried at how sweet he always is to you. No matter how tired or sore he is from his work day. He always seems to put you first.

Neither of you asked for this to happen.

But you're in this together.

"Promise?" You asked, laying back down on the hard bed.

"Have I ever let you down?" He picked up your left foot and gently started to knead your sole.

Little did he know, he has your heart in his hands, too.

A trick? On Sukuna??? Gulp…

It was a simple trick really, snakes in a can. I mean, really, what could go wrong?

“Kunaaaaaa…” You whined, pretending to struggle with the fake can of peanuts. Sukuna looked down at you with a soft sneer, scrunching his nose up at your weak display. “Are you really having trouble with that?” He scoffed at you, if anyone was listening in they would think he was actually annoyed at you. But you knew by the tone in his voice and the fact that he was giving you attention that he cared. 

Especially when he took the can from your hands without a word when you pouted and shaked it at him. He rolls his eyes; “Don’t bother me with trivial shit like this next time, brat.” He doesn’t really mean it, he enjoys having you go to him for help. You had to push down a giggle, watching Sukuna get ready to open the can, easily twisting open the lid and letting loose the fake snakes. They sprang up with a pop of confetti, one even hit Sukuna right in the forehead with a high-pitched squeak.

You doubled over in laughter, the look on Sukuna’s face was priceless, you wished you could have caught the moment in film. You clutch at your stomach as you wheeze out, tears streaming down your cheeks. It was extremely rare for Sukuna to be caught off guard and give you an expression different from his usually grumpy faces (other than the faces he gives you in bed…..). So you relish in the moment, finally having a small victory over your boyfriend. The victory celebration was short-lived however..

As you calmed down from your laughing fit you glance up at Sukuna. Finding him still in the same pose, empty can in hand, a blank expression on his face. You instantly tensed up, “Ku-Kuna?” No reply, he doesn’t even seem to be breathing at this point. You nervously shuffle up to him, poking his cheek. “Kun-AHHHH!” You screamed as he whipped his head around and grabbed your wrist and pulled you in close by the hips. Your nose bumping into each other, your heart thumping at the quickness of it all. 

Sukuna still didn’t say a word, just looking down at you with an indiscernible emotion swirling underneath. He leaned in forward just a bit, and you thought it was aiming for a kiss so you tilt your own head up to meet with his lips. Only for Sukuna to rub the bridges of your noses together, almost like a gentle nuzzle, his breath fans out over your cheek hotly. His hand squeezes your hips once, twice, as he trails wet kisses down to the shell of your ear. Keeping it there for a while. “Kuna, can you say something? You’re scaring me?” Your voice wavered a bit at the end, you weren’t expecting such a soft display of affection after this prank, which made everything all the more terrifying. This time, you hear a deep rumbling laugh in return, Sukuna hand ghosting around to your back and pushing you in closer to his body. 

“That was a nice trick, brat..’

“Do you enjoy having things shootout on people’s faces by surprise? Hmm, well?”

“...Because I can easily arrange that for you, go put on the blindfold for me and I’ll show you how a real trick is done.”

Yes I am still thinking about Macky and "the second the hero got a taste of real power, he couldn't care less about his friends" and it shows Wukong turning away but then S5 does that same exact scene except this time Wukong turns back towards Macky and reaches out his hand. He remembers his friend. He hasn't forgotten, he wants you to join them. It's not just always Wukong and Tripitaka and friends, or Wukong and MK and friends. It can also be Wukong and Macaque, what would you like to hear, that the Hero suddenly remembered his beloved friend the Warrior and they lived happily ever after...?

there are three main opinions about mor in this fandom:

1. she’s fine bc she’s feyre’s bestie but you don’t really care about her personally (probably bc she’s queer because the stan girlies used to LOVE mor when moriel was semi-canon. i remember. i was there)

2. she’s fine but annoying bc she ~lead azriel on~ (main opinion on the acotar subreddit). never mind that if this was true, it would be as a result of a retcon, because again, pre acowar, moriel was going to be canon. sarah made mor sapphic because we were asking for more lgbt characters. (again. i was there.) and besides, i frankly don't think it is true, because azriel is the fucking spymaster with a million chances of knowledge at his fingertips and mor spent 80% of her time at a gay bar so idk how he couldn't have fucking known?

3. or she’s the fucking worst because she was. idk. mean to nesta. you know who else was mean??? and people love that about her because it's a result of trauma, it makes her flawed and relatable? literally nesta T_T this is not anti nesta i just don’t get it.

4. she's the fucking worst because she… supposedly lied about eris? ?? i'm not even going to begin to unpack this. why y'all IMMEDIATELY take the man's side and think what he's saying is bible… i don't fucking know. learn to decenter men in your life my friend. sometimes women ARE telling the truth even if they're basic or pick mes or whatever.

mor’s traumatized as hell and definitely has as much to back up her occasional cattiness as nesta had to back up her literal life long bullying. but few people will give her a feminist reading. few people will analyze how sarah wrote her story or what that means. few people will even give her credit as a real villain. she’s just an annoying pick-me bitch and that’s the end of it.

think about the lack of grace rhysand gives nesta. think about what that might mean for mor, to whom rhys (and his friends) was a sort of savior, because her life in the hewn city was that bad that somehow dealing with rhysand is better. that was who she grew up with; that was what she was taught to see as good because at least it wasn’t keir.

not to mention that her life is shaped around her survival via her desirability to males. ESPECIALLY as a sapphic woman can you imagine what that would do to her psyche?

but no. no fan posts about her. no headcanons. nothing nada. just me and the mor week posts and the occasional obligatory stan reference bc she's part of the main cast.

i understand being annoyed bc of the double standard in canon between her and nesta's heavy drinking, but even then i see posts all the time about "i would love rhys if it weren't for the narrative's worship of him!" and none for mor because she's just a ghost. she's nothing to anybody. despite being A MAIN CHARACTER!

not to mention but like. generally positioning yourself perpetually in opposition to the paradigm rather than just having values whether they're popular or not is not a great way to go about things. i completely understand liking eris regardless of what he's done - i am a tamlin stan despite the fact that he was very well abusive in acomaf - but the fact that there are antis out there who are so convinced mor is lying, or who want sarah to write that storyline, is so digusting to me. women in groups you don't like, political sides you don't like, women you think are annoying - they still deserved to be believed. don't give into respectability politics. come on now.
