Devil seemed to be watching the things that are happening in Sonic’s world via some kind of mirror that acted like a ‘TV’ of some sorts, laughing and grinning. Though he perked up a bit seconds later upon feeling the presence of someone, which that made him groan quietly. “Ugh..You better not be here just to annoy m-“ Devil said as he turned around to gaze at the visitor, thinking it was that metallic hedgehog. But as soon as he did, there was no time to react, said weapon being successful in landing on his chest- probably even piercing through and remaining there. It wasn’t mortal- but it was..something that has to be treated soon if possible. And the pain- it hurts like hell. Devil fell straight onto the ground, emitting unholy screeching as he winced and kind of moved around in circles or close to that, moments later managing to take in a very deep sharp breath before he just held onto the front part of the wound the best he could while he tried to grab a hold on the weapon only to get it out of his body as soon as possible as a lot of blood rolled down from the wound, staining both his clothes and the ground. “MF YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME- DO YOU HAVE A PEANUT AS A BRAIN OR WHAT-“ He yelled and glared at Shadow, staring up at him as demonic-like hissing escaped from him. Usually, he wouldn’t react like that to getting hurt at all but, this from someone he didn’t do anything yet and a glowing odd weapon? Hell, Devil didn’t know what it is made of nor if it is something holy or that can fully end Anons and/or demons. All he knows is that it hurts a lot. He also seemed to let out a growl at Shadow, emitting that sound in response to the question instead of actual words to even answer that, if he decided to even answer that is. Adding to that, the thought of a weapon being able to do such wasn’t exactly pleasant for reasons.

Back in 2013, I posted a Welcome to Night Vale fic and someone commented, “I’m autistic and I see myself a lot in the way you write Carlos. Did you intend for him to autistic?”

And I was like “I’m flattered you think so! No, he’s not intended to be autistic, but I’m glad you can see yourself in him.”

Now twelve years later I spent some time this evening trying to track down that comment to give a very belated clarification. Whoever you were stranger, hey. I only said no because I based Carlos heavily on me, and since I wasn’t autistic, Carlos wouldn’t be either. Well. I’ve learned some stuff in the intervening decade that strongly support your literary analysis.
