Miranda: she's basically more like her mother. this is where i was conflicted like do i swap the adults' personalities as well?? regardless, swapiranda (i need to stop) is a good christian girl 😌 as you can see she did not dye her hair in this universe and same with hermia but we'll get there. i also removed her beautiful shades SORRY but they're still there in spirit with the blue of her nails. i think swapiranda has that sweet exterior but a snakeish interior in terms of personality

HI!!! happy holidays!! sorry im getting to this so late, i had to actually get colored examples of all the kids in their magical outfits LOL (HOWEVER everett will not be included in this list simply because he does not yet have a finished character sheet AND i need to redesign his magical outfit)

so, we'll start with our leader and protagonist, Sinie!

her color is white. i dont see very many "white" themed leaders in mg genres, so i wanted her to be represented by the color of innocence and purity because that is what sinie represents. she's definitely my usagi, my steven, my luz.

for her design, i wanted something simple yet fluffy to show her childish nature. i have thought about powerup versions of their outfits, but im not sure how to incorporate it yet so i havent even began to think about their designs haha

next we have agitha! her outfit actually resembles pajamas, her dress is like a victorian nightgown and shes got the little shawl to go with it. everything is so soft anf pastel it just feels like a comfy outfit. this wasnt intentional, but i think it fits with her powers since her magic is centered around dreams.

she's the purple magical girl! though, its a little more pastel than what we usually see i think.

csilla is blue!! i adjusted some of her colors from the first colored design i had. it felt a little too plain being all one color haha. but she sort of looks like a knight and, again it wasnt intentional, but if im thinking about it she rly is the knight sort of character. she fights to protect her friends and herself, but she also is righteous and is a good strategist.

so daren was OBVIOUSLY red in my mind because hes the tank, the muscle, and also another good strategist. his fighting style is more hands on since he uses his fists and legs and so i thought fire would fit to be his power. i have a lot of cool ideas for his fighting style i just rly need to study shounen manga to get them down hahaha

i wanted their design to be androgynous while still being magical girl esque, so i gave him the tall heeled boots however still keeping a sort of sleek, form fitting silhouette. added some more traditionally feminine aspects of clothing like the puffed sleeves, however put in some classic masculine elements such as the tailcoat and pants. im very proud of his design!

elise is pink! of course!! (sinie is jealous) she has the power to purify dark energy. very classic magical girl!

i wanted her design to be big and poofy and girly. but also with the boob window because.....idk its cute lolol

and lastly heather!! i didnt have it in me to do her character sheet atm but i rly wanted to answer this 😩😩 but luckily i had a colored example of her magical outfit!

she is green! very fitting for the pretty, elegant, smart heather. i wanted her design to be faithful to her faith, but still have the feminine magical girl aesthetic! i think she looks very pretty hehe

ok so first things first, i loooove gatwa's doctor so much already. if nothing else, i love the masterclass in acting he's putting on, his expressiveness is so impressive. he brings a very fun energy to the role

the church on ruby road has me feeling a bit mixed as well. the plot was kind of meh, and i didn't like how in the alternate universe ruby's mum was just so mean without her. it didn't make sense. like what makes ruby so special, hm 🤨 what's this one white blond baby got that all the other babies in the world don't 🤨 i know the point was to show how much ruby meant to her mum, but like. there are other ways to do it than have a complete 180 in characterization.

i'm honestly not super interested in the mystery of ruby's parentage (which apparently seems like it will be a huge thing unless they're just making stuff up to fake us out, in which case, good on them). but i don't want it to be some big reveal i'm sorry 😩 especially not because if it is, people will bend over backwards to say how great storytelling it is when they'd never say that if moffat did a plot like this. i hadn't even considered the possibility really, when i'd first watched it, i thought it's just not that deep, but maybe i'm wrong. the people who are theorizing that ruby is rose and tentoo's daughter are sooo funny though like

I’m soooooooo in love with how much Ozzy time we got but it has me worried. Either one of the new bombshells will be gunning for us or they will be going for the love interest we are going for. Tell me one thing, is avery dead or alive? I could not understand and super confused. Did they show it at all?

I think Beau's future kinda depends on it now. If Avery is dead - and then he dies a hero - there is a chance of Beau and Carla to reunite (if beau makes it 🥺🤞), if something worse happens to emily (i hope not) then with a ground of shared trauma; if not then maybe back to Houston to be the old happy family... Or maybe an open ending with some implications like that.

On the other hand if Avery is alive there is a high chance of Beau- Jenny pairing now (if beau is alive too) Now that Avery risked his life for Emily Beau will not hold the same hostility towards him, will accept him and then only he will be able to move on from Carla and be a free man to love again. That will be a big development for Beau and everyone will be happy. They might keep it open with a clue of beau and jenny to become a thing. And if it is the last season (i dont know if season 4 is coming) it might be a good ending for Jenny as well.

Now I don’t know what’s in the writer's mind. Going to rewatch once to clear the confusion 🫠

I don't think Beau has softened in his view of Avery very much. But maybe a bit. I also think if anything (more) happens to Emily, that would put the nail in the coffin of Beau and Carla's relationship. Healthy, loving couples often can't survive the loss of a child. With their messed up history, I highly doubt that would bring them together.

As I see it now, either Beau will save Emily and they'll move back to Houston as a family, bonded over their survival. Or everyone will stay on in Big Sky country and Beau may end up with Jenny. 🙌🫶

I think everything hinges on 1. Whether the show gets picked up for S4 and 2. Whether Jensen stays on.

If the show is ending (no Season 4) they may "wrap up" the show with allusions to Jenny and Beau getting together as well as Cassie and Cormac. That gives the girls a kind of "end" - finding success in their personal and professional lives.

But if the show continues and Jensen doesn't sign on for S4, they'll probably just send the family back to Houston. (Even if that fact isn't conveyed to the audience until the beginning of S4!)

If there is a S4 and Jensen does come back, then there's a decent chance for Beau and Jenny as well. More 🙌🫶😁

We can see that WTK now has the fluttering feeling for NSW but we still dont know if he has gotten over SDO. I get what you said about Sohee and I believe that she's sincere with her apology but I'm having a hard time forgiving her. And I know Da-On and TK are on the way of forgiving her but I hope they don't actually become friends. What she did was too much. I used to ship her and Namgung but that changed when shit hit the fan lol. I would love it if they stayed close friends though. Because again, I don't see them developing a relationship in 2 episodes.... but we'll see.

That being said I absolutely agree with you. I love that TK is starting to feel something and that the TK/SW ship is starting to sail but it's all going way too slow. Like...... we have 2 eps left and we're still nowhere near the end of the plot lol. There's way too much that needs to be resolved. Like idk I loved the pacing in the first half of the season and I was fine until like 2 eps ago but now I'm getting impatient lol. And even if they manage to wrap everything up in the remaining eps, it's most likely gonna be a rushed ending and idk how I feel about that.
