About a minor change to one of Ais' line that I wish they'd left it as it was🚶...

Just want to talk abt it because it's been bothering me a bit. (warning; it kinda long..I didn't mean it......)

In previous version, when MC said smth a long the lines; Ais threatened them and had the gal to kick them out just so he could go drinking, he'd reply with this:

but in this update they changed to this :

Which at first, I found it..cute..like, ohoh~ he's being being flirty with me now, so much so that I shamelessly got off my chair, giggling and kicking my feet and all. Because again, it was cute.

But then I realized that- oh.. they took the 'I was lonely' line which- honestly...makes me sad. Because that single completely changed my perspective on what kind of person- monster Ais is.

It's the second thing that made me go 'awwhh...' and at that point I started to have a soft spot for him. (The first one was obviously how soft he is towards princess *sobss*)

The line is so short and simple, you could easily brush it off. But to me it says a lot about him.

I played this game completely blind at first. I didn't know a single thing about it, or Ais. (Mind you I played before RSS drop the lore abt Ais and his gang) So it caught me off guard a bit that this big scary demon guy, also a gang leader, who threatened me with his soulless + with whatever tantacles thing he had going on in the background hours ago is...lonely? Why would he be lonely when he has his own people. No way his gang took a walk that long, right? Why didn't he have his gang at the bar, drinking with him?

These question kept playing in my head. So I did some digging, maybe I could find answers; he dislike isolation, his flower is Red Spider Lily which symbolizes Mourning, goodbyes and lost memories. In his character summery said smth like; "...he was once a seasoned leader, but now he's alone...".

So all of these made sense a bit of why he might be lonely. Then RSS finally dropped the lore oh what happened to his people. It still doesn't answer much but I think we all kind of get the idea now.

Okay now I think I’m already starting to blabber goodness gracious. What my point is that, I much prefer the original line; it kind of gives a hint to the player abt who Ais is (welp not a lot, but yknow). He's not just some big scary dude that smashing ppl's skull, but there's something going on with him that make us think. I think it’s a great detail to include in the demo/prologue. It makes you more curious and question more about the character. Than just simply flirt with you. Which still, idm but nyeh yknow ajdgjsjs

But yeah this. This is what I feel. And it's already that time where I'm gonna put my head on a pillow and hopefully I don't cry myslef to sleep thinking about this.

Or maybe this whole thing its just me *shrugs*

Damian Wayne is actually pretty confident in romantic relationships in the comics. He flirts, he commits hard, and he adores his partners.

If he and Jon got together, it would be full throttle down the aisle. They are obsessed with each other. Damian is planning the wedding after the second date and calling his mom to get the traditional wedding rings out of storage.

The funny thing is that he forgot to tell Jon, and it's only after Damian refers to him as his intended or something (they get attacked by Talias men as a way to ascertain if Jon is good enough for her baby) that Jon realises they are even dating.

It hits him like a train. All the gifts, dinners, and physical affection mean Damian likes him back, Loves him back. Jon takes a breath, takes another, and goes with it.

He loves Damian, always has, in so many ways it is hard to imagine a world where they don't spend they rest of their lives together one way or another.

And God did Damian grow up to be pretty.

And as this all occurs to him as they stand over the bodies of unconscious Assassin's, in front of a satisfied Talia. He decides he is going to marry this ridiculous man.

And he has so much to catch up on.

He can't let Damian win at romance, he refuses. If they are going to do this Jon is going to shower Damian with all of the affection he has spent years holding back.

Thus commences Jon's mission of being the very best partner ever.

He learns Ma Kent's recipes, and then after he gets her number, Talias recipes from Damians childhood. He brings coffee when Damian is getting off shift at the hospital. He learns what makes Damian blush and stutter. He learns how to kiss him in a way that makes them both breathless. (He gets addicted to being able to incite reactions in Damian, making him melt under his hands or flush such pretty colours with names like darling, sweetheart, or pretty boy.)

He asks Talia, Bruce, and Dick for permission to marry Damian. They all have different reactions. (Talias smiles as she threatens him, Bruce quizzes him on his intentions, and Dick cries but still instils a fear so intense he now understands why Nightwing can handle the entire city of Bludhaven by himself)

He and Lois pick out the ring together. A pretty gold band with sapphire and emeralds.

He ties the ring onto Titus collar and waits for Damian outside the hospital with all of his co-workers filming. It has to be the most romantic proposal in history, and Damian cries happy tears. Even if he is upset, he couldn't officially ask Jon first. The real issue is this all happened within six weeks of dating. No one really noticed and thought they had been together for years at that point.

As a married couple, they are Gomez and Morticia levels of obsessed with each other but with more competition.

Rui hakolim in july pleeeeeeeease. I need him celebrating tanabata or just enjoying the festivals with the rest of wxs and being so grateful he gets to spend so many precious moments with these people he’s created tremendous bonds with. Oiuurrrrvhhhh. I *also* need him to have that looming thought that the clock is ticking, time is running out and these precious moments aren’t ones he can relive forever. I need it to be devastating, as much as I want him and his next event to be more than just angst — I need it to loom over him like a threat, despite the endless fun he’s having with his new, found family.

And this time, I actually want somebody to comfort him. No hard feelings Nene (vague curtain call mention, because who am I if I don’t do that). I need him to be having the time of his life but Tsukasa or hell, any of them can tell somethings off. Maybe one of them mentions he’s got that certain look on his face (probably also most likely Nene) and that’s how Rui clocks it himself, motions to a vague sort of processing his emotions about the future. I just need one of them to tell him (most likely Tsukasa) that no matter what the future holds in store for him, or the rest of them, that they’ll always be there for each other.

Granted, this could very well be only the latter half of the event, but even if we get something only a little similar to this, I can die happy. I am a huge fan of hourglasses and clocks being a Rui motif, apparently.

Give him a longer hairstyle, colopale. I need to girl him more.

Genuinely, this man pisses me off to no end. The way he treats desmond, like he's no more than a tool to be used, is grating. And he repeatedly goes on about Desmond's genetic lineage as if he's some sort of show pony.

Let's talk about how Mr. Billiam Wiles over here should have the same ability to activate the eye because he, too, is related to Altair and Ezio and Ratonhnhaké:ton.

It wouldn't surprise me if William and Desmonds mom weren't even in love (because honestly who could love William for his personality) and were just together for genetics purposes like some sort of fucked up dog breeding program.

Also being reduced down to who you're related to is something I relate to but not in the same way and seeing other people being compared to their relatives, no matter who they are, pisses me off to no end because excuse me that is a grown ass man with his own thoughts and personhood.

Truthful Tuesday

For the first time in 10 weeks my son is bandage free. His wound is nearly closed, hence no need for the bandages, but it’s not completely healed yet. I have to clean it twice a day and he sees the surgeon twice a week for a silver nitrate treatment. She thinks next week should do it. What a long process this has been.

My daughter is moving out of the apartment she was sharing with her not-boyfriend. She says he’s not understanding the “only friends” thing. I told her “no, of course not. He’s totally in love with you!” It’s a shame, he seems to be a great guy. Of course I’m not privvy to everything that goes/went on in their relationship. So maybe that’s just the face I see. Ugh.

Brightside: she says she’ll be around more on the weekends. Her father is all “Woot! She can watch the kids more and we can go away!”

He wants to road trip to Gettysburg, Harrisburg (for trains), and then CT to see his family. But that’ll be a big weeklong family trip. I wonder where he wants to day trip to?
