even aside from the REAL WORLD fact that it was illegal for joanne to write in so many words that dumbledore was gay for grindelwald at the time the series was published… the argument is really assuming a lot a privilege that gay people did not have historically. like. CANONICALLY as well.

dumbledore is 116 years old at the time of his death (1997). he was 18 years old when he met and fell in love with grindelwald (who within the span of like several months to a year? went from being his boyfriend to uhhh a budding war criminal and his arch nemesis) (1899 BTFW).

26. 6fingerdeathpunch by six impala: this song is so angry sounding and the ending starts to sound fuzzy with how loud it is. i feel like that matches how angry c!quackity tends to get; when techno escaped the prison and he was running down the halls yelling at sam, i could imagine that he was so mad his hearing started to go fuzzy, similar to how the end of this song sounds. the aggressive lyrics and angry sound in the end combine to make this a really cool song to describe c!q's anger

27. mos thoser by food house: this song is fun sounding and confident, idk i feel like c!q would like it

28. can you really blame me for how i react by osquinn/p4rkr: the loudness of this song combined with the desperate tone of the vocals makes this another angry song for c!quackity in my eyes. i think when he blows up at people (such as when he blew up at foolish after techno broke out of prison), he feels really guilty after the fact. the chorus of the song (and the loudest part) repeats the titular line over and over: "can you really blame me for how i react?" i see this as c!q trying to justify his actions to himself to quell the guilt he feels for blowing up at people he loves.

29. i dont want that many friends in the first place by osquinn/p4rkr: this song is so interesting to me because it conveys so many different emotions. the production and delivery of the lyrics is really confident, while the lyrics switch rapidly between angry to self deprecating. she says "one phone call and his brains will get to moppin; sorry i'm so hyped up, i'm just dumb obsessed with violence; anxiety, i'm running outta options." this shows one of the sudden mood changes, from angry and violent to apologetic and anxious. i think this fits with c!quackity cuz he gets angry and calms down Rlly quick sometimes lel

30. pure by 8485: holy shit this song is so beautiful i've had it on Loop the past few days. the first line is "there was a time once, i thought i could be like you" and the last line is "there was a time once that i believed in you." that shit Hurts. anyway the way i interpret it for c!q is him knowing that he's better off without the fiances, but being unable to fully accept that. the chorus says "i'm better on my own; cuz i know what i'm like on the inside; i should know the way i can make it right; but i don't and i'm warm and terrified; this just feels like a bad dream" and i think that all fits very well with healing from a breakup. god that song hurts so bad i love it

31. seer by 8485: this song is so fun sounding, but it's about love in the end of the world. i think this song could represent how he felt in the midst of his relationship with c!schlatt. it's got idyllic lyrics about love, but the situation seems to be very dire and sad. the chorus says "but i can't see you the way i mean to; you're pixelated, baby come just a little closer to the barricade." this is obviously showing that the singer is more attached to her partner than they are to her, and that they have more power over her in a way. then, in the first verse, she says "i keep on wanting you more, i hope you feel the same; i think the world's gonna end, i wish someone would say when; cuz i would run to you then, i don't think i'd complain." this again shows a severe attachment to her partner even if they might not feel the same way. the next verse says "i give all i am, i'm a hologram; but as long as you'll have me i'll stay." this line makes me think of c!q's relationship with c!schlatt before quackity realized he was being taken advantage of. he was giving everything to schlatt, only to be met with misunderstanding and rage. idk, this song is really sad

how would u rank the zodiacs, from fave to least fave?

1. yuki; i don’t shut up abt him so maybe it goes without saying. i love him lmao. his character is so wonderfully complex and funny and heartbreaking. his character arc is the best in the series, full stop the most satisfying to read out of the main cast. his genuine struggles to find himself and understand his place in the world, trying to put himself first when he was never allowed to before, always choosing to be overwhelmingly kind despite literally everything........ jesus wept. love him. 

2. haru; LOVE him. i think i love every single chapter that he’s in. his introduction in the series always makes me cry laughing, and overall he just gives this fun, blunt whimsy to so many scenes he’s in. but then he’s also super fucking intense and it’s SO satisfying the few times we get to see him just go off the walls.

3. kyo; in a weird way i think i always forget how much i actually like him lmao? i didn’t like him very much when i read the manga the first time as a kid, but i appreciate him more now that i’m older i think. the oscillating between being super frustrated and easy to set off, versus being so so so genuinely kind and gentle is like...... yeah........ it’s good. 

4. rin; another character i didn’t appreciate more until i reread the series in college. i mean her story is kind of just heartbreaking all-around, with the sheer amount of self-sacrifice involved in it, but also her personality is just. spicy LMAO. idk i really like her in contrast with characters who carry very similar hurts (yuki......) but have very different methods of coping and externalizing. a good hurt. 

5. shigure; so he’s a character that i actually used to like a lot back when i first read the series as a kid -- i think he might have been my second favorite? but my focus just isn’t on him so much now that i’m older lmao. i think he gives a lot in terms of the series’ intrigue, and i think he’s interesting in that he kind of walks the line of being realistic and relatively grounded, and being very wrapped up in some..... intense interpersonal drama that he literally fucking cultivates lmao......... but i guess i’m not really going back and rereading/rewatching his scenes very much.

6. momiji; kind of a character i feel like i should like more on principle, but one that i don’t focus on very much! which i think is more because his best scenes are very, very early in the series (aside from the chapter where his curse breaks, but i think that has more to do with akito literally seeking him out and absolutely panicking......god....... anyways). i like him. a sweet boy. pure heart. good intentions.

7. akito; i’m not sure if this is actually the right place to put her in this list but tbh, smack in the middle seems perfectly apt. akito is a character that i both love to think about and barely think about at all. she’s hard to ignore, and i kind of love to hate her, and yet when it comes to her chapters i tend to kinda... skim them.... her parallels with tohru i think are probably my absolute favorite thing to consider with her character. that shit i could think about all day. but the rest of it (which? i guess is just her relationship with shigure) i’m not as interested in i guess. her issues with femininity, specifically with mother figures, is super intriguing and it really seeps into the whole of the story, even when she’s not involved (even if it’s kind of dulled by her sudden change to being overtly feminine at the end of the story but whatever. we can ignore it).

8. ayame; he’s just fucking funny. i really heavily appreciate his role in yuki’s story (like, there are a couple scenes they have together that actually make me weepy lmao) but i appreciate that he’s a character who really isn’t bogged down by the family situation almost whatsoever outside of his relationship with yuki. like, thank god lmao. just delightful.  

9. hatori; i think the tragedy of his character is interesting insofar as like, showing another way that the curse can absolutely wreck the people in this family, but his character outside of his trauma i think wasn’t fleshed out enough for me to enjoy more fully. when i think of him i think more about how he’s kind of surrendered to the curse in a way, and his disgust of letting cyclical abuse continue while also feeling as though he can’t do anything to stop it -- which i think is a good perspective to include, especially from one of the few older characters, but his individual character i feel wasn’t developed much outside of it. 

10. hiro; used to hate him, now kind of like him and think he’s just. trying his best lmfao. i mean he’s literally 11. his involvement in the story after rin’s backstory chapters i think are really nice, which i think is mostly just that he’s growing up a little. the scene where he’s holding his sister after his curse breaks makes me cry, so i guess he gets some points there.

11. kagura; i don’t hate her, but i’m also not really thinking about her. she’s cute, she’s intense. i feel like i don’t have much else to say on her lmao! i think her views on love and romance are stereotypical to the genre, but woven into the story in an interesting and critical way wrt kyo, which i appreciate.

12. kisa; again, cute character, but i don’t really think about her much either. i think her introduction was an interesting way to kind of poke at yuki’s issues long before we actually get to understand what happened with him, but otherwise i kind of see her story as starting and ending with her introductory chapters? very much a set of chapters with a straightforward moral. kind of a one and done deal. 

13. ritsu; same as kisa tbh. interesting character, but not given a lot of time to actually flesh out and explore. introductory chapters are set up as a oneshot moral before they’re shunted to the back burner for basically the rest of the series. just not a lot to say on them! 

14. kureno; a disappointment. an interesting story and perspective completely annihilated by creepy characterization and a romance that somehow manages to take up the majority of his character arc AND is completely careless in how it’s added into the story. it’s gross, it makes no sense for uo’s character, it sucks big time in comparison to the other relationships that are built throughout the story. like. i really do feel like his relationship with uo was only added because tohru needed a reason to meet him, after which point his involvement with her should have just. stopped? not just because it’s gross but because narratively it makes no fucking sense. uo’s story was done so dirty because of this and honestly i’m still bitter about it ten years after the fact.

Even though the song isn’t an exact fit for his life, it sums up his childhood hopes and dreams of being a famous actor pretty well. He’s been dreaming big ever since he saw his fist trip to the movie theater to see Mission: Impossible. He’s had the drive to make it big for a long time, but the question of the hour is whether he has the skill.

Track 2: Miami- Will Smith

Despite the fact that he was born in the Philippines, Vito considers Miami to be his true hometown in many respects. It was the place where he spent most of his childhood, the place where he fostered his love of acting, and the place where he first started falling in love with life. Even though he hasn’t lived in Miami since he left for college in 2008, every time he returns to visit his family, he feels like he never left. 

Track 3: Hello, Brooklyn- All Time Low

Vito moved to Brooklyn with one of his college roommates after graduating college in 2012. It was in Brooklyn that he really got into DJing and started to do it for money. Vito has always been the type to live life to the fullest, and this song is an expression of that sentiment. He made Brooklyn his second home and partied it up while he lived there. 

Track 4: Beverly Hills- Weezer

Even though Vito has wanted to be an actor since he was 7 years old, he still has his insecurities about it. Specifically, he worries that he won’t fit in with actors who came from money. Vito wants to be amongst the elite, but comes from a completely different world, one without any glitz or glamor. This is part of the reason why it took him until 2020 to make his big move. 

Track 5: Best Day Of My Life- American Authors

Vito considers the day he officially made his move out west to be one of the best days of his life. As much as he liked Brooklyn and the friends he made there, acting in student films and off-Broadway shows wasn’t where he wanted to be in life. He didn’t know anyone in California except his roommate, who he had only met in person once. Moving was his chance to start anew and fully realize his dreams. 

Track 6: I Gotta Feeling- Black Eyed Peas

Once he decided to make the move out west, Vito fell in love with Santa Monica. The palm trees and beach reminded him of Miami, and it was close enough to L.A. that he could get to auditions with relative ease. From the first day, he had a feeling that he was going to like California. This song is meant to be an expression of Vito having a good time and making new memories.

Track 7: Go DJ- Lil Wayne

Vito has yet to land a full-time acting gig, so DJing has been his primary source of income. This is a song he’ll play to himself when he needs motivation. It’s a reminder to himself that if all else fails, people still think he’s good at DJing. After all, he wouldn’t be working at a club 4 nights per week if people didn’t like his mixes.

Track 8: Don’t Stop The Music- Rihanna

This song is one of Vito’s favorite songs to play in the club. It’s one of those songs that gets the crowd up and dancing; no one can resist a good Rihanna song. Acting is his first passion, but he relates to the message of this song: leaving the stress of life behind you and dancing to good music. It’s songs like this that remind him what got him into music in the first place. 

Track 9: Club Can’t Handle Me- Flo Rida & David Guetta

This song is a combination of a pep-talk and a song to amp up the club. This is one of those songs that makes Vito feel like he’s on top of the world. Playing this song at Circle Bar makes him feel invincible. Even though he doesn’t live a lavish lifestyle like Flo Rida and David Guetta, Vito knows how to party and how to liven up a party through music. 

Track 10: Sorry for Party Rocking- LMFAO

As a DJ, Vito goes hard and goes loud. His neighbors over the years, in both Brooklyn and Santa Monica, have had to put up with a lot of his musical antics. All he can ever really say form himself is “Sorry!” because he’s not going to stop anytime soon. Even though he doesn’t drink as excessively as LMFAO, nor does he hook up with women like they do, this song makes for another fun song to amp up the club. 

Track 11: Sour Patch Kids- Bryce Vine

Being an adult is hard. Since moving to California, Vito has started to notice how much he struggles with money. Sometimes he needs to get money off his mind and just kick back and relax like he did when he was a kid. He feels very nostalgic for his childhood, especially the parts when he didn’t have any responsibilities or cares in the world. 

Track 12: Crush- David Archuleta

Vito felt himself crushing on Verity shortly after their blind date. As time went on, these feelings only grew stronger. He spent the first two months of knowing her wondering if she shared his feelings or if this was all one-sided and hopeless. Despite these worries, his feelings didn’t wane. His crush wasn’t going away any time soon. 

Track 13: What A Man Gotta Do- The Jonas Brothers

After a few months of hanging out and having little dates with Verity, Vito realized that he didn’t want to be just friends with her. Her kiss had him hooked, and he wanted more. He wanted to be with her, labels and all, and if she wanted him, he was all hers. Turns out all he had to do to make this a reality was ask. 

Track 14: Only Wanna Be With You- Post Malone

This is another song that isn’t an exact fit but has an overall relatable message: wanting to be with one person and one person only. Even though he and Verity have led very different lives, they’re still able to get along and make their relationship work. He doesn’t care if he’s foolish for becoming this attached to her so soon into the relationship, because he’s happy and that’s all that matters to him. The reason this version is on the playlist rather than the original is because Vito is a bigger fan of Post Malone (he says “no disrespect to Hootie, though”).

Track 15: Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)- Ne-Yo

Verity struggles with insecurity. She was in two relationships before she began dating Vito, and neither of them ended on a great note. Vito feels very strongly towards her, and not only does he want to show her that he loves and cares about her, but he also wants her to love herself. He wants her to see herself as the kind, caring, and beautiful woman he sees her as. He’ll gladly put his own insecurities aside if it means lifting her up.

8) mr. 101 going to gihun to psyche him out but our MC really pulled the reverse uno card on him and made him paranoid WE STAN. this man’s EQ is on the roof, he’s so good at reading situations.

9) ali and sangwoo best pair. a power couple honestly. these two will die together in a final stand i can feel it

10) i am so disinterested with the secret masked people smuggler arc, i do not care about these people at all. it’s simply just mr. hwang but even then, i like, do not care at all. the power dynamic is so funny though, they need the doctor but they keep threatening him.

11) more gihun backstory, that’s so sad, i wonder what that attack meant. we haven’t really learned much about his previous job aside from the fact that he used to be a driver(???) maybe he was in the military? like we know he wasn’t able to make his wife’s labor because a guy died in front of him, they made it sound so mundane but that trauma flashback sequence is so heavy. oh they were having a worker’s strike, that’s even worse omg.

12) i hope mr. 001 doesn’t die from the fever, thats such bad timing but it makes sense, even for the others, once the adrenaline dies down, the fatigue will catch up to them.

13) mr. hwang almost getting caught oh no. i’m kinda getting into the whole smuggler arc now but ngl the fact that i can’t see their faces makes it harder to commit, i’m only rooting for mr. hwang. maybe it’s a way to not overload the characters too much(???). oh no the doctor got scammed.

Aspros: His smarts. I'm naturally very dumb, so trying to portray him as very smart is hard for me. As well, he's the opposite of my personality. Sometimes it's hard to lock on, but I can never fall out of Aspros. Just, sometimes, hard missteps.

Defteros: I don't know. I don't think I have anything difficult on Defteros. He comes to me very easily since I can see a lot of my sister in him.

Byaku: I don't know, it's been a while. The romance between him and Athena (the owl) is kind of difficult since I didn't intend for him to have a romantic partner. But I don't dislike it though! I just have difficulty getting into gear since, in my head, 18 years old is too young to get into romance. But hey, he's supposed to be a little older in those threads, even if my mind is slow in catching up to that.

Avenir: Oof. Getting plots with him LMFAO.

Kanon: Newest muse aside from Defteros. I will need time to iron things out on him in regards to threads, so I can't answer for him.

6. What is your favorite thing about writing your current muse?

♚— Oh boy. I'll just do it for the first three then since I have more threads with them.

Aspros: I can fall into Aspros very easily! Even after I took my 4-year break from Tumblr, coming back to him was like a fish to water. Even then, I always look for Aspros in every series I jump to. So I guess my favorite thing about writing Aspros is the fact that he's like a... A very precious and dear role for me. Even if I am very unqualified for him. Aspros is like an all-in-one tool, so I can adapt put him to almost any thread and still feel fairly comfortable.

Defteros: Like Aspros, I can fall into Defteros easily! But I think my favorite part about writing him is that... Well, he's the other half. I know it sounds confusing, but as I mentioned countless times, I see myself and my sister within Aspros and Defteros. So, finally picking up Defteros after so long, it feels like I have a vestige treasure. Writing Defteros brings out certain elements I like to write that Aspros wouldn't have done by himself. And writing the brothers together makes me very happy since, again, they are very personal to me.

Byaku: He's fun! Out of all of the muses that I have, he's still a teenager (18. Young adult, but still in the teen range). Although I can't fall into him as easily as I can the Gemini Twins, he's a fun... hm, 'difference'. I especially love it when I get to write my long-developed headcanons into threads! I love that Byaku allows so much freedom because of how there's almost no canon information on him!

11. When did you start roleplaying?

♚— I don't really remember. I think I was 14 or 15 back then.

13. Who are five of your favorite characters? (In the rp community or otherwise)

Fuck, in the RPC?? If it was in general, I'd say "Aspros, Defteros, Saga, Kanon, Evil Saga", or if it was just LC, I'd say "Aspros, Defteros, Manigoldo, Minos, Lune"...

But in the RPC, and only doing partners I have played with, It'd be Hades, Thanatos, Manigoldo, Regulus, and ...Minos and Lune. It's six, I know, but I can't not include Minos and Lune because those two are very important for Byaku's threads.

18. What makes for a great roleplay partner in your opinion?

♚— Someone who is willing to workshop plots, elements, and thought processes of the characters in private and find a way to execute it in threads in a way that enhances the character. And what I mean by that is like... a lightning strike. Brilliant and able to floor me with how they portray their character. I'm into the 'closest to canon' portrayals, so to find a partner that stays truthful to their character while adding their headcanons to enhance why and how their character is the way they make me value them a lot.

19. Have you received anon hate? If so, how do you deal with it?

♚— I have. Once or twice (I'm surprised it's not more). I don't give them too much attention, but I do acknowledge them for the first time they send it. If they continued, then I would ignore it.

We all know this but I want to give you a reason to talk about Will: your favourite fictional character and why you love them

*Breathes in* Apologies, but this is gonna be a very long post. 

John Flanagan has done a lot wrong - so many things that I will never forgive him for. But one thing he did so right, is my man Will Treaty from book 1-11. I know he seems like an average main character, but to me, he is way more than that. He is the embodiment of an imperfectly perfect person. I could talk about him in-depth, including all the headcanons and analysis, but to make it simple, I’ll just focus on the canon. 

Why Will Treaty is the fictional love of my life:

1. He is incredibly strong not just physically which he really is idk why people sleep on that but the mental perseverance that is shown throughout the entire series. From the first book to the end. His life is so tough, more than we can really fathom, and yet he pushes through it all. 

2. His curiosity is very cute to me. Like the fact that he wants to know everything, but not in an annoying way...his mind is just trying to absorb everything at all times. 

3. His ability to catch things on really fast. Like, not much gets past him at all. And once he got something,,,he got it. Halt said it, and so did Berrigan. Whether its picking up songs, or that little coin trick, or a bird whistle. He is quick.

4. His respect for his elders. Whether its Halt or Crowley or Arald or anyone. He is the classic good-boi who just wants the adults to be proud of him. All jokes aside, he is probably the last person to do anything that would remotely make Halt upset. He makes jokes and is light, but never crosses the unspoken line.

5. His sense of humor. Lmfao because he is funny as shit and witty as fuck. That joke about a good knight’s sleep? A riot. Lmfao at I love that he just wants people around him to laugh, and he knows what to say to lighten up the mood.

6. The fact that he always seems to know the time and place for things. He knows when to get serious and when to crack a joke. He very rarely says things out of turn, and when he does he backtracks instantly. You won’t catch Will saying something insensitive or rash. It's shown several times that he makes people around him comfortable by just being around them.

7. THE WAY HE TREATS THE WOMEN IN HIS LIFE. All of the women he has interacted with….ooofh he exudes big feminist energy. From his respect and love for Pauline; calling her “Lady” until she tells him not to, making promises to her that he remembers throughout his mission. The modesty and respect he had for Edwina - and the fact that she took an instant liking to him. His interactions with Jenny - the way he compliments her and makes her feel better about herself, the way he is a literal brother to her. Even Cassandra; the way he took care of her and gave her comfort when she needed it, and afterward how he always had respect for her. Ceilma!!! Delia!!! He is Good to all of them. And then there is Alyss.

8. There are several things about his relationship with Alyss, besides the fact that he would legit commit treason for her, that GET ME IN THE SOUL:

a. The fact that he would go miles out of his way to make her feel loved and not alone. He signaled to her for DAYS in Macindaw, with no reply back from her and no guarantee that she would reach out. But he made sure he would be there if and when she did.

b. The fact that she knows he would wait for her patiently. Like No rush. Take your time baby.

c. The fact that he is a strong enough man to marry an intelligent and highly capable and strong woman like her

d. The fact that he is protective of her, but has no doubt in her ability. The only reason he is reluctant when she goes on missions...is because he loves her and doesn’t want anything to happen to her.

e. He is super affectionate. Holding hands, kissing, hugging. Ahem, I love that for him.

9. His readiness for death. It gets me every time, how he is in the heat of battle and fighting for his life, but the moment he realizes there is no way he can get out of the situation alive...he relaxes. He closes his eyes and waits calmly, seemingly at peace. It is eerily beautiful to me. 

10. His selflessness. Putting his life on the line for others - over and over again. He did it for Halt, he did it for Horace, he did it for Alyss. 

11. He is perfect Husband Material (see 12-17)

12. He can cook. Very well. As Alyss said: Get you a mans that can cook

13. And he can clean, AND he is organized? O h?

14. He can sing too??

16. I forgot to mention that he is very good with young kids.  

17. He is loyal as fuck. Won’r cheat, the thought won’t even cross his mind.

18. He is smart as hell. The decision making, the planning, the ambition of his ideas. His innovation. description of his quick mind is just ahskajkh. The fact that Halt would choose him over Gilan and Crowley because of how quick he is (and because that’s his literal son) just gets me. His vocabulary is out of this world - which has convinced me that he is an avid reader. His ability to put two-and-two together almost immediately

19. He has a temper, but when it’s valid and necessary. You hurt the people he loves? He will murder you. You cause harm to innocent people? He will reign justice on you. You annoy the fuck out of him? Best believe he will whOOP YOUR ASS. He is no innocent timid pushover. Things will bother him, and he will lash out. He is human. It’s normal. It’s hot.

20. His love for animals. The way he is with Tug is so heartwarmingly endearing. He genuinely loves him and considers him his friend. The conversations they have together. And his care for his dogs is so adorable I can’t. The way he trained Shadow and Ebony to do those cute things...you know he would be a great father.

21. The energy he gives off to other people. Throughout the series you have people who have only interacted with him briefly, thinking about the pleasantness of him. He is just a good guy and people seem to be comfortable around him. He makes them smile, his face puts them at ease, he speaks softly. Whether it’s the boat keeper at Seacliffe, Umar and Ceilma at Arrida, or Malcolm, or the multiple farmer families he interacts with - they always mention how respectful and lovely he is.

22. His care and love for Horace. Their banter and ease with each other. The fact that he would kill and die for him. The fact that Will wishes Horace could live next to him. Its that classic cute “I-want-to-hang-out-with-my-best-friend-all-the-time-cuz-he-make-me-happy. 

23. His relationship with Halt. I need a whole separate post for this.

24. His humility. From his aversion to attention to his inability to take a compliment, to him being watchful of sounding boastful or arrogant. And the fact that he doesn’t even realize how his name and image has impacted thousands of people. He is a whole legend...and he don’t even know.

25. The fact that he is the most capable and skilled Ranger there is. Periodt. I don’t want no one to @ me. You know I’m right. At his peak, he was the best in the history of the Corps.

26. Will is adorkable. The corny jokes he makes, the fact that he talks to his horses, the fact that he doesn’t realize that he is a pull god. Cutie. 10/10 would die for the dude.

27. The fact that he is clumsy when it comes to food. That is me. If food is in my hands, 9 times out of 10 it gets in somewhere on my clothes.

28. His coffee addiction. It geeks me so hard how he literally can’t help himself. He want. He is tired and he just want the coffee. Give it to him

29. His hatred of goodbyes. Idk i just think it’s heartbreaking but also very touching how he doesn’t look back when riding away from someone.

30. The fact that he isn’t afraid to show emotions. I don’t see very much, if any, toxic masculinity in Will. He is manly in his physique and power, but also in that he is comfortable in showing his emotions. He is a strong enough man that he married a strong woman. He doesn’t shy away from saying he is scared, or worried, or anxious. He tells Halt or Alyss all his feelings, without worrying about sounding weak. He openly cries many times throughout the books.

Ive seen endgame! Spoilers under the cut and I’m not tagging this as spoilers because I’m literally telling you now its spoilers.

1- what the fuck was the point of Tony’s kid? We had more than 10 years with this character, he doesn’t need a kid for emotional impact when he died and now I’m kind of pissed they threw this fucking random kid in there only to orphan the poor thing and make Pepper a single mother. What fucking bullshit. Never should have been a storyline.

2- Pepper in the suit yaaaaaas.

3- Wanda. Fucking loved her moments. And Thanos’ “I don’t even know who you are” was fucking iconic lmao. I mean her “you will” was okay but holy fucking damn that was the funniest shit from Thanos.

4- they killed viz permanently lmao yeah I didn’t give 2 tits and a snare drum about him anyway so I don’t care.

5- Steve. What the fucking fuck did they do to him? Don’t get me wrong, I like Peggy, and I liked him and Peggy in FA. They were cute. But it was a 4 month fling in the middle of of a war. Not that it can’t be important, but after 15+ years you are telling me a 4 month fling from Steve’s youth is more important to him than everything else? And what of Bucky? He leaves him to HYDRA and after all the shit he went through in WS and CW you’re seriously telling me he’d just LEAVE him there like that? I don’t mean to be a dick to Peggy because I do like her, but narratively speaking Bucky has always played more importance to her except when they want to make Steve feel nostalgic. I’m sorry, I’m fucking over that plot line.

More than that though she moved on in her show, she had a life after Steve and he went back and took that from her. And I don’t see why aside from no one let him grow as a character while also having him grow as a character. He went through a huge character shift in WS and then we saw nothing of it. Aside from his motivations in CW, which make sense given the context of WS however much I disagree, we see none of that development and I’m fucking tired of watching him lament over a relationship that lasted for a shorter time than a high school semester. To any normal person, and even to Steve given his non normal stance, he would have moved the fuck on. Also he made out with her niece that one time!! How is he living with this!

Also Sam says they never had a Captain America but Steve was still big when he danced with Peggy, which means he got the serum, which means he still can’t age right, which begs the question of how the tits long did he live? And again, what does this mean for everything else considering getting the serum implies he was, at some point, Cap even if he was never the Cap they knew. What the fuck! I’m actually the most mad about this because Steve, post WS, probably would have been one of my favorite characters given his extreme narrative shift and just how interesting that could have been if anyone ever fucking let him move on with his fucking self but no. Instead we end with him in the same spot he started in! I watched ten years of this shit for him to do NOTHING? All that development (that the narratives never really let him go through in totality because he narratively never shifted out of his War and Peggy Phase even while his character, on an individual level, moved out of that several times) and I watch him end in the same place he started?

Honestly I’m pretty pissed about that. Especially with all the did with Bucky. I seriously can’t believe Steve fucking left him there, ignored every piece of information he had, ruined Peggy’s original happy ending, and then didn’t even grow as a character. I like that he got a happy ending, I think he’s earned that, but I simply cannot believe a 4 month fucking fling meant so much he’d ignore his best friend, HYDRA, Peggy’s original marriage, the fact that he made out with her niece that one time, and everything else to end up exactly where he started. Which is why I don’t really care for him to begin with- because the narrative always leaves him right at the beginning and I don’t know how to invest in a character that grows but never grows. If he narratively was allowed to grow he would have been so. Much. Better. It is so fucking frustrating to me that he never moved the fuck on. You have no idea.

8- Hated almost everything they did with Thor. Fat jokes? Yikes. Though I did love that ice cream line. Loved the bit with Frigga. And like. Thor being devastated and traumatized is ok. I think that’s realistic enough even if I wonder how someone that’s been alive for well over 1000 years doesn’t know how to handle himself with slightly more grace. I would have liked to see him crack differently.

9- Cap picking up Thor’s hammer and Thor being happy about it? 10 000 times better than the garbage Whedon wrote. Loved that.

10- Nebula. N E B U L A. NEEEEEBBBUUUUULLLLAAAA. Start to finish fucking loved her. She was amazing. 2 questions though- how did she not kill herself when she killed herself? Which in itself is a fucky question to ask. And also the second contention point I have with the movie beyond time travel bullshit is why NO ONE asked where she was post Nat (that in a minute). I know they were sad about Nat obviously but Rhodey is a full bird colonel, he keeps track of thousands of people for his job, plus all of his involvement in Tony’s antics, plus the Avengers and you’re telling me he didn’t notice her gone even with Nat? And Tony, you’re telling me he didn’t notice her gone? He was the one who bonded with her the most and he didn’t notice that he’s now technically lost two people he was close to? And Rocket? He didn’t notice? Are you fucking kidding me? I thought that was bullshit.

Even if, by chance, Rhodey somehow didn’t notice his partner in crime was missing (”I wasn't always like this” “Neither was I”- new BroTP yo!) when I think his military experience alone would have made him the second most likely to notice after Rocket (because he knows her the best) then Rocket should have. And if for some reason Rocket didn’t notice despite her being all that’s left of his found family, making him extra invested in her whereabouts, over Nat, whom I think he’d care about but not like Nebula, then Tony, who spent all that time with her in space, would have noticed.

Fucking someone would have noticed her gone. And the whole second half relies on no one noticing this moment and I call absolute bullshit on that. Someone. Would. Have. Noticed. Rhodey if for no other reason than experience of keeping track of people in war zones, Rocket if for no other reason than her being his last remaining connection to his family, and Tony if for no other reason than Nebula being a large part of the reason he’s alive. I was completely thrown from the story here. I simply can’t see how they could over look that even considering Natasha.

11- Natasha. Are you fucking kidding me? You killed her over Clint? I fucking hate MCU Clint. He’s boring, he’s nothing like the comics, he’s a fucking prick, and I don’t give a fuck about his family or anything to do with him. I liked him best when he was going to kill himself for Natasha. That is the only moment, as Marie Kondo would say, sparked joy for me. Otherwise throw the whole thing out. Fucking Natasha over Clint. Fuck you. That was an insult to the viewers. I don’t give a fuck about Clint, I don’t give a fuck about his kids aside from thinking they didn’t deserve the snap, and I don’t give a fuck about his story.

My mom said he was a plain Timbit (donut hole for the US readers) in a donut world and I honestly think that’s insulting to the plain Timbit, which is something we give to dogs as treats in Canada. Clint isn’t even a dog treat to me and they killed Black Widow over him. Fucking pissed.

12- “That suit does nothing for your ass” “No one was asking you to look, Tony!” “That’s America’s ass!” .... “That is America’s ass”

13- I actually really liked what they did with Bruce. I was excited to see all the benefits of the Hulk and Banner in one! That was pretty cool!

14- Strange’s reappearance was pretty badass. And Wong! I was excited to see him there! Was a bit surprised by Tilda Swinton’s appearance but okay. I didn’t hate it. Loved when she punched Bruce out of the Hulk lmfao that was so funny. I do like that she apparently does that to everyone lmao. I should write a fic where she punches Wong’s soul out of his body when the meet just because I think it’d be funny. And I’d love to see more Wong.

15- Steve vs Steve was really cool, I liked that. And fucking Hail HYDRA holy fucking shit I almost lost my ass. Couldn’t fucking believe he said that (and knowing that he just leaves that all for Peggy, his 4 month fling? Find this wildly out of character for him). Then he fucks right off with the tesseract omg.

16- Scott had some iconic one-liners. “That’s America’s ass!” “Okay I'm going to go inside you” omg. Ant Man was a joy to watch in this. I find Endgame used his character right.

17- I know I said it but Pepper Potts in the fucking suit y’all! I don’t know who was watching Morgan but also Pepper Potts in the fucking suit!!

18- That time travel shit made things entirely way too fucky. I knew that’s what they were going to do because that’s all that made sense, but I thought it was fucking stupid. And can Thanos even snap the stones out of existence? Because Tilda Swinton’s speech implied if he did something like that timelines would essentially do the funky chicken and die. She removed the time stone and shit was supposed to get weird, remove all 5 and what happens? Wtf? He fucking hid those stones. Did like Thor’s bit there though, killing Thanos. I think Nebula earned it more than him but I also think it was a good moment for Thor before his character became a fucking joke. 

19- narratively I understand why they started with Clint’s family dusting but I don’t give a fuck about Clint or his dusted family. I would have preferred watching a civilian lose his shit.

20- Steve you need therapy, stop leading therapy sessions. Especially when your advice is ‘move on’ and you literally go fucking nowhere in your life even after you went all over hell’s creations. Get this man a proper therapist he needs like 15!

21- lmfao Russos talking about gay representation and it was a guy talking about a date. I shit you the fuck not that was it. Gay. It was barely even there. Only straight men would ever assume that could possibly count as representation holy fuck. Like thanks for the blink you miss it shout out I guess. You remembered gays exist, wow!

22- Strange’s one finger thing, I liked that a lot actually. I think it functioned both as a great call to action and a nice reference to Stephen’s power.

23- Quick question, why was Tilda Swinton in New York? Because they went back too far for Strange- at first I when they mentioned 3 stones in NY I was like wait, when’s Strange’s story supposed to happen? After WS right? He can’t be in NY with the stone? But then Tilda showed up and I was like... why isn’t she in Nepal at the teaching sanctum? Because apparently the NY one isn’t a teaching sanctum and as far as I knew she was training Mordo and Wong there at this time so wtf? And it can’t be explained with ‘she knew she needed to be there’ because she punched Bruce out of hulk and he had to grovel to her to get the fucking thing from her and only managed because she knew Stephen gave up the stone willingly and would never do so without good reason because he’s the best fo the best. So like. Why was she there aside from plot convenience? That was a little too easy. Frankly, the whole plot was a touch too easy but still.

24- tired of aliens we’re supposed to relate to looking like humans but in pink while aliens we’re supposed to dislike are animalistic and non human looking. That’s a garbage trope.

25- The black woman in the elevator who made Tony and Steve is 100% Fury’s mother no one can convince me otherwise. I think the timeline matches up but I don’t care if it doesn’t she’s his mom now. He gets it all from his mama.

Bonus: stop trying to make Howard happen, Marvel, its not going to. I fucking hated that scene with Tony and Howard. What kind of bullshit abuse apology was that? Howard then, sure, he didn’t suck quite yet and seems to be aware of his own shortcomings. Howard in the future? Sorry, irredeemable crap. Narratively interesting irredeemable crap but irredeemable nonetheless. Tony panicking and saying his last name was Potts was great though lol. I’ll take it as evidence he took Pepper’s last name when they got married.

Bonus Bonus: I cried when Sam held the shield. I’ve been gunning for Sam to take over as Cap since we met him and everyone told me it’d be Bucky. I argued that we’ve already seen the story of a super soldier as Cap, it would be more interesting to watch Sam as a relatively normal guy take over as Cap. And I like Bucky traumatized and Winter Solider-y. I think he’s more interesting that way. Seriously though, Sam as Cap will be amazing and I didn’t expect to cry at that of all things but I did. I’m so excited to see him in that role!

Bonus Bonus Bonus for any sorry fucking soul who’s made it this far in I think I might update the Tony, T’Challa, and Their Gaggle of Children verse to include Morgan (but older) finding Tony only she’s his actual assed kid and no one believes it even though they have a striking resemblance. Which annoys them both because he got the media to buy all his other fake kids with easy to track down parents but not his actual kid. Ending with Nebula showing up and him claiming she’s his kid and everyone buying it.

Mun Questions Meme - 3, 4, 5, 11, 23, 26 & 29.

Do you have a favorite AU?My entire blog at this point is an AU, lol.  It’s kind of a necessity because I’m committed to this particular iteration of the Master (wonderful as they are in all their faces) and in canon it’s heavily implied that he’s regenerated into Missy by the end of The Doctor Falls.  So in the sense that I have AU’s, they are literally all at least canon-divergent after the end of Series Ten.  I think my favorite AU’s are those in which he survived Missy’s stabbing and reconciled with the Thirteenth Doctor some time after her own regeneration.  Both Simm and Missy have shown us that the Master is capable of contrition and redemption; that combined with the fact that Thirteen has regained the hopefulness that the Doctor lost for several faces tell me that it’s an ideal combination for a real Thoschei reconciliation.  Simm has seem the future, has seen his own stupidity, and knows the choices Missy is willing to make on the Doctor’s behalf. With some soul-searching he’d realize that’s what he, too, wants: his friend back.  And Thirteen is surely contrite for Twelve’s misguided attempts to “rehabilitate” Missy.  They’d both be willing to listen to each other now. 

Name one thing you don’t like about your character.I don’t like his limitless capacity for cruelty.  Which often makes it difficult to write him, considering it’s  such an enormous part of his mature character.  But again, the ability to crush his enemies (and friends) and the CHOICE not to, are such a compelling challenge for a writer, that I keep coming back for more. 

Name one thing you love about your character.His persistence, and his resilience.  His defiance.  His certitude that his path is right (which on the flip side can be a reckless arrogance), even if he must tread it alone.  His strength of resolve.  He is a lion, brutal though he may be. 

What one character you’ve thought of RPing but haven’t yet?Oh there are several, LOL. But I’m notorious for multi-tasking past my limits, and having, as a friend recently told me (god, I cringed) “fickle” muses.  So I’m trying to limit myself from making still more blogs. For some reason, having a multimuse has never worked for me; I like to fixate singularly on a character, and make sideblogs for weaker or rarer muses.  So unless I want literally like 15 blogs...lol.... Anyway the characters I’ve thought of rping.  Rhys Griffiths from The Catch is the most recent urge, and he still hasn’t gone away.  John Simm plays him, too, but he’s so similar to the Simm Master (with several notable differences, including a way more laid-back, lazy disposition) that despite him being a delightful disaster (my kind of character LOL), I decided instead to make a Mob Boss AU (Rhys is an English mob boss who hands the title over to his sister in favor of working with his best friend, a con man, as a consultant to the FBI).  I dunno, I may cave in, aside the fact that the show only lasted 2 seasons and the fandom is nonexistent.  Other characters: Sebastian Moran and Irene Adler from Sherlock Holmes.  I’ve played Sebastian before, for years, but since I ship him with Jim Moriarty and I have a Jim blog, I’m still hoping someone else’s Sebastian will show up on the regular (and also be of age...cause...yeah I won’t do nsfw threads with minors. gollygosh golighty, it is probably the Kirby fandom. if my math is correct, I’ve been a fan since 11 years and counting!

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat. man went from obnoxious fuckboi jackass comic relief and butt monkey of the entire franchise to an honestly funny, caring and loyal guy who’s also a shockingly good parent and can even be pretty mature and reasonable if he needs to. Midway/NRS clearly didn’t like him all that much in the OT and made him pretty cringey, but now he’s actually bearable without losing the original ego and bad sense of humour that makes him who he is. got to say, I really love him now.

P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).

Pokemon SU/MO AU where instead of protag being recruited to hunt UBs Guzma ended up being drafted into it as a half ‘community service’ to make up for what he did with Team Skull and Lusamine, and the fact he also qualifies as a Faller. It’s not totally willing or a happily made decision (sort of imagining Looker or someone strong-armed him into it), but maybe he was desperate due to having nowhere to stay let alone a livelihood after disbanding Team Skull and wanting an escape and something to do. And there’s gonna be complications, such as others like Plumeria or perhaps even Nanu disapproving of his new ‘job’ (though it’s more like they’re angrier at the guys like Looker who dragged a guy who is clearly in a bad place into their dangerous ops) and the fact Guzma has a justified phobia and probably PTSD because of Ultra Beasts and Lusamine. It’s a redemption story yes, just an alternate path instead of going back to training with Hala like he did in the games.

I’m a little surprised how few people actually try to explore how Guzma’s experience in the portal affected him, and how it may have contributed to his heel-face turn in both timelines of the games.

The dragon form is actually closer to Raiden’s ‘true’ form than the humanlike mortal body we know best. In his truest form Raiden is a shapeless mass of sentient lightning which would blind/vaporise any mortals who saw it, so a dragon made of lightning is his next best ‘safe’ form before actually taking a mortal vessel. In this form he’s possibly the most powerful and free in his element without being in his ‘raw’ form.

This is true for all gods, who if they can’t be bothered to take a more humanoid form or an actual mortal body they will turn into an elemental dragon - the next step between dragon and mortal form is an elemental humanoid form like the unnamed gods in SZM.

Basically think of it like a weirdass Pokemon evolution line roughly like: Shapeless elemental mass > elemental dragon > elemental humanoid > human vessel

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending? 

Mortal Kombat: RAIDEN IS A GOOD PERSON WHO CARES AND ISN’T A FAILURE, YOU ARE ALL JUST MEAN.

Marvel: Tony Stark finds it easier to talk to and connect with robots and AI/VI than humans. His robots are like his kids and he’d totally have pictures of them in his wallet.

Kirby: (Game) Kirby’s impulsive, naive and childish but not a complete idiot. He often understands what’s going on and what’s at stake in serious and even pretty complex and highly dangerous situations, but he’s just the type who can put all that aside and single-mindedly focus on what needs to be done to save the day. True, he does have too-big a heart and often approaches things too simply in black and white terms, but it’s more of a merit of his that he has seen so much shit and yet can still trust and be kind even to total strangers in the direst of circumstances.

Madness Combat: Deimos is younger than Sanford (and a lot of the other characters) and isn’t as happy or ditzy as he acts a lot of the time - he’s got a fair bit of baggage for being a defector and the bloody and thankless ‘job’ he and Sanford have now. Sanford knows this, which is why he lets him off the hook [lmfao half-intended pun] for goofing around so much.

sooo I just really like the Kirby series? It’s such a dependable series that is so enjoyable for all ages and fans, it has excellent art and music and always hits the right amount of throwback and new innovations and rarely disappoints or fails to deliver. Everything’s cute and colourful and accessible for the kidduns, there’s some juicy lore and deeper storylines for older fans to sink their teeth into and all round there is hardly anything to complain about in the canon media and the fandom. plus the Anime is like its own bomb ass ‘canon AU’ verse and can be taken separate, and that too is a barrel of fun with a cute and cheerful world that can be studied and mined endlessly for all sorts of story potential and themes without being exhausted. honestly, just everything about the Kirby series is superb and i would say it’s one of the best franchises ever, period.

I’m so happy for her being able to have segments with Orton. Good for her.

Alexa’s like a mere inch taller than me so she’s a nice gauge as to to how tall the men’s roster is in comparison, and Randy? Fucking tall.

So the writing was on the wall; Fiend cares about Alexa (whether the nature is abusive is irrelevant to this point) and Randy has figured out how to use Alexa as a pawn to manipulate Fiend. I was kind of hoping Fiend/Alexa were in control of the gameboard, but it seems I’ve been duped.

The only complaint I have about this is how... compliant and helpless Alexa was in this segment. She’s not only been possessed/traumatized into caring about Fiend, but furthermore she does care about him, so why wouldn’t she be fighting against Randy when she was in his arms? The writing of her character in this particular segment seemed shallow. I know she can play whatever emotion they want from her, so to not ask for any emotions at all is curious.

Also the only person who isn’t a heel here is Alexa, and I won’t really hear any argument on the manner. Fiend is a predator at best. Orton is a psychotic douchebag.

My head hurts. Imagine Becky being stuck in a tag team with Lana rather than throwing a huge fit about not being able to defend her title for fucking months.

“Sarah you wouldn’t understand, but Shayna and I are about to-- *starts smiling like a fucking idiot*” Wow I want to defend wwe’s incessant need for giving Lana a storyline but I’m so fucking tired of abysmal promos. God. I. Miss. Becky. WHY is the Raw women’s champion wrapped up in this??

Oh I really like how their respective team members are standing up in the back on balconies. I really fucking like the layout of this arena. Huge fan.

Why Shotzi vs Raquel though? Why is the team captain fighting? That’s not typical for these, is it?

Ugh failure to throw Shotzi through the ropes. There’s just... a skill gap in the division, you know? And Shotzi and Raquel are on the lower end of that gap. I don’t care if people love Shotzi, she’s MILES away from being a champion. What saves her is her risk-taking, but it’s just a matter of time before that bites her in the ass.

Shotzi’s offense is doing a minimal amount of potential damage to her opponent while taking herself out in the most convoluted way possible. She’s Sasha Banks on steroids.

You call it innovative, I call it foolish.

It’s not that I hate the coffin drop off the ladder onto Candice, but Candice really ruined it by preemptively grabbing a chair and holding it on top of herself. Kind of spelled out exactly how that was gonna go.

Io and Rhea make an amazing team.

Rhea and being thrown into the cage on the outside of the ropes, name a more iconic duo. I’ve heard that’s the worst part about cage matches cuz your skin legit gets dragged against the links as you slide down.

Holy shit Io just got powerbombed through a ladder. OOF.

That’s the ending?? Raquel pinned Io for the ending??? Holllllyyyy shit.

Interestingly enough, I’d have to say the 2 team captains did the least amount of notable work.

As Blaze was fitting her tail through the bow on her back, Baxton entered the room. Whenever Pyrus was absent, it was usually Baxton who took up the king’s general duties. He signed letters, addressed the people, attended court; it kept him quite busy. The only responsibility he didn’t inherit was any control of he army - the sole post he would be familiar with. Quite the chore it was, but Baxton was always fond of his temporary sovereign role. At least in terms of the power he held, that is. In fact, Blaze assumed that he had been yelling at some servants not too long ago, judging by his flushed face.

The elder cat scratched his head. “Princess, did the king leave a letter?”

Blaze pointed to the note on her bed. Baxton scurried to it, and frowned as he glanced over the elegant handwriting. “Is this it?” he quizzed.

The princess nodded, and held her arms out with a smile. “Look, Baxi! Look at what father sent me!”

Blaze couldn’t quite tell what Baxton’s expression conveyed, but it was something between a smile and a scowl. The note crumpled in a quick motion from Baxton’s fist, and was thrown back onto the bed cover. Blaze didn’t think much of this as Baxton hurried out, and she walked to her mirror to admire the kimono again.

10) what are your strengths wrt writing?Hmm… I get a lot of ppl saying that I’m pretty eloquent when it comes to phrasing/word choices? I’m constantly tinkering with how things are said, even up until like 30 seconds before I publish smth lmao. I also like to think I never just string sentences together and leave it at that when I’m narrating, I pay a lot of attention to how different sentences/phrases flow together.

11) what are your weaknesses wrt writing?My main weakness would probably be going overboard on all the little things, like how a sentence sounds or flows and stuff like that. I end up being a perfectionist with it, and sometimes when I’m crafting/changing phrases around, I end up with a sentence that kinda drags on or tries to do too much.

12) what’s your favorite place for writing resources?Tumblr’s pretty good for me, actually. I rarely ever seek out resources, but I do reblog a lot of them that come to me here and they’ve been very useful to me in the past.

1. Favorite time in a day? why? - Uh I’d probably say early morning till noon or late at night because it’s either the most peaceful or the most calming time of the day for me.

2.Favorite series? - I’m currently rewatching FMAB and it’s great and I love it and anyone who watched it needs to rewatch it too or anyone who hasn’t needs to watch it (it’s on Netflix please watch it) but besides show if you mean literally any series (books,movies,tv,etc) The Adventure Zone is a wonderful podcast series go please listen to it. Now’s a marvelous time because we’re slowly trying to find a new campaign and there are mini arcs now! And Balance is SUCH a good (it’s like 69 eps? or something like that) and it’s about an hour long each ep but it’s so good!!!

3. Any character in particular that’s stuck to you? - Taako. I’m literally kin with the fuck lmfao. He just?? Resonates with me so much and helps me feel better. I just love him so much and loving him feels like I’m loving myself too so it’s a win-win uwu*

4. What’s your aesthetic? - *sweats nervously as my aesthetic is so scattered* but aside from that it can go from edgy to pastel aesthetic to vintage aesthetic and it’s really just all over the place I’m so sorry

5. Favorite hobby? - Can doing nothing count? I’m either doing work or on tumblr or doodling lmao. And my work DOES involve art so it is now both my work and hobby lol. Sleeping could be my fave hobby bc it’s so so nice

7. If you were to create a game of your own, what would the gameplay be and what would it be about? -  Something like Breath of the Wild if I’m honest? But perhaps something to do with my OCs and their universe or an entirely new thing? The gameplay would be a mix between Dark Souls and BOTW I guess? Some mechanics blending together and stuff and all that (I’m not sure which specific ones but if I really spent time thinking about it I could probably pinpoint it.) As to what it would be about? Not sure. But I’d want it to be completely worth getting and probably put a twist at the end to make people be like “WHAT THE FUCK”

A dream you most vividly remember? - I already talked about this but it’s the dream where I had Dark Souls-esque deaths meaning I’d die then be “resurrected” and go back into the zone that killed me (idk why. HEY LOOK here’s 43 random headcanon questions answered about turbo that nobody asked for.

1: What does their bedroom look like?

/CRACKS KNUCKLES oh boy here we’ll see how awful i am at interior design and decorating

after doing various google searches of what trailer interiors look like, his bedroom surely isn’t too far off from the main ‘room’ of everything. there’s most likely a small wall that blocks it away from the walkway and a door (for whatever privacy reasons) and most trailer bedrooms aren’t ... big. in fact they usually look a little crammed, which is true in turbo’s case. in the middle there sits a big red race car (with checkered flag blankets and pillows, obviously) with a nightstand on his right hand side. on top of it is a basic lamp (it’s also checkered) and an alarm clock. the nightstand its self holds racing magazines mainly, any scraps turbo had wanted to save for whatever reason and uh ... well, the obvious thing he’d have in there.

there is a window overhead that has a curtain on it, and he usually keeps it closed because hey, that’s the man’s bedroom. the walls are interesting enough: on the wall right of his bed is a big full body mirror that can be pulled aside into a closet where he keeps all of his clothing. on his left wall sits his trophy shelf, where too many trophies sit on top of and medals hang off of. i’m sure there are racing decals plastered around and a plaque that reads, ‘NOVEMBER 02 1982′ for his plug in date.

uhhhhhhh that’s really it, unfortunately. like i said, trailer bedrooms are super small.

2: Do they have any daily rituals?

sort of? get up, shower, eat, get dressed, check on his car, start the day, go to tappers, drive around the track at night, rinse and repeat unless he wants to mix it up. on weekends or at closing time he can sometimes be found tinkering away at his kart or gamejumping.

3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

NO LOL he doesn’t exercise at all. he doesn’t feel he needs it, but he loves driving laps around turbo time

4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

grab something else that doesn’t need prep or get take out. he doesn’t cook and only really uses the microwave, so hot meals are typically box meals and take out food.

5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)

personal: turbo’s cleanliness is ... weird? he doesn’t mind getting dirtied up in motor oil and whatnot (he reeks of it, frankly), rolling around in the dirt during a fist fight, etc. so there’s no issue with being dirty, but i don’t think he likes being dirty for too long--like the guy has to shower eventually. i feel like he probably brushes his teeth regularly as well to keep his breath fresh (he hates bad breath so much, and openly shits on ralph for it), but like, don’t get me wrong. this guy is not mr. clean. smells like motor oil, his hair is probably greasy ... he’s a fun time.

workspace: weirdly organized to a degree. it’s probably not spick and span, but he likes to know where everything is so he doesn’t lose things and keep things together. he cleans his car like a crazy, though. there cannot be a speck of dirt on his baby.

6: Eating habits and sample daily menu

EATING HABITS ARE AWFUL. GLUTTON. he hates 3 meals a day + multiple snacks and he indulges pretty heavily in food, rarely leaving food left on his plate. i can’t imagine he’s the pickiest eater but he has certain things he won’t touch with a 10 foot pole. daily menu consists on super salty, fatty junk/concession stand food and candy.

7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time

anything racing related is a good time waster (trying to improve his car, cleaning it, etc.), as is drinking around tappers or being in the company of people. however, he’s weirdly selective of wasting his time: if he does things on his own, he doesn’t care, but if someone drags him into something that ‘wastes his time’, he gets antsy and agitated.

8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging

prrrrrobably adrenaline kicks or ego stroking/attention hogging, hard to pick, really. he loves indulging in things. he’s a selfish, hedonistic brat.

NPD and ODD all the way, buddy. he doesn’t recognize that he has them, and if someone would say he has them, he would either blow it off by insisting there’s nothing wrong with him and they're just using shrink labels on him, or he’d see no issue with loving himself and acting the way he does.

he likes to learn about technology from computers/coding/whatnot to knowledge about technical things with vehicles.

my boy does not read lmfao. i feel like the most he reads are sports magazines and stuff, but he’s weirdly cultured on random things and makes the most left field references (ie, ‘IVE BEEN WAITING LONGER THAN IT TAKES TO MAKE PLUTO’S YEARLY TRIP AROUND THE SUN!!’)

he’s straighter than a ruler. turbo has no problem with sexuality and doesn’t care about what you do, as long as it doesn’t involve him--that’s where he reacts more negatively and lashes out.

uh, i mean if we’re not counting glowing eyes, grey skin, a green tongue and pointed ears? then the most the guys got is little cuts and nicks on his hands

within the realm of time i take him from, i can’t see him having short term goals so to speak, because ...

his big long term goal is to stay on top of the arcade and remain a legend, so that’s all fairly long term. that’s really all the guy wants. fame, fortune, attention.

17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress

he prefers to keep his clothing casual, but he doesn’t exactly look like a slob? he has some kind of style, but he doesn’t really like more preppy or business casual styles--think, ‘that one dude you see in a tee, jeans, converse and sunglasses but it still works.’ no real rituals beyond always taking his helmet if he can--it’s a symbol of status and who he is.

18: Favorite beverage?

cherry coke and eventually vanilla cherry coke!

19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

i figure he usually knocks out like a light, but his mind probably swarms with whatever had gone on that day -- usually it always comes back to him praising himself though and telling himself how incredible he is and how he’s such a winner. it usually isn’t to cancel anything out (unless he’s freaking over something, but that’s rare. seriously, the last time he did that ws....2013?) but solely because he can’t help but stroke his ego. it’s a comfort.

20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?

not really applicable, he didn’t have a childhood to speak. the guy can tell you 20 different ways he broke his nose though, and most involve fist fighting.

21: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

most likely his autograph. he gets a kick out of practicing it and signing it. i can see him making little crude doodles of himself (he has the artistic talent of a wet mop) about how he’s ‘super cool’ and ‘HARDCORE.’

22: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?

he’s in this weird level of organized where it’s not disorganized or thrown about 100%--it mean there’s definitely a little mess after a work day in his trailer--but like, his garage? he loves to know where everything is in there so he isn’t frustrated and looking for something. he’s not really an organizational mess, but he just doesn’t want to go through the hassle of ripping his hair out over trying to find something, you dig? it doesn’t manifest in much else he does, really--he could give less of a damn about anyone else or anywhere outside of his trailer/garage.

23: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

if you count tech skils as a field of study, then he excels at that for sure. he loves getting his hands dirty with cars and learning all he can with it. it’s a passion for him. otherwise, he’s not too concerned with book smarts unless it can be used to his advantage somehow.

24: How do they see themselves 5 years from today?

still as the king of the arcade, being litwak’s most prized cabinet and prospering even more than he had in the past. ridiculous, i know.

25: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?

not get unplugged. no, really. there’s no real ‘plans’ outside after that, all he wants is for the next few years to be as golden as smooth as theyve always been, and with an ego like his and the luck he’s had, there’s not a doubt or fear in his mind.

26: What is their biggest regret?

so far, the guy has no regrets. he’ll huff and say that regrets are for losers and that if he does something, then he’ll go down with it to the end. if you actually do make him feel it, though, even for a second? then please give yourself a round of an applause, because that takes a lot.

27: Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)

PANIC. BIG PANIC. he startles and tries his best to keep his cool, but would either try and scramble to put out a fire if it’s small enough, or in more case scenarios, grab one or two things and go because he’s not risking his life. he would be pissed if it screwed him over in some way though and would throw such a tantrum.

28: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)

yikes.

turbo has no close family to speak of, so i’m going to phrase this in the terms of a super close friend (let’s say vanellope for instance) dying. i imagine he wouldn’t take it seriously at first and laugh while insisting whoever informed him is just screwing with him and it’s a shoddy prank, but once everything finally hits like a semi-truck going 200mph, he’d feel confused? upset? angry, but that hurt sort of angry at the person who died because he can’t cope, and would yell about how it was ‘their fault’ and pissily ask why they had to be ‘so stupid’.’ five stages of grief? nah, he goes straight from denial, to anger for awhile, to it bothering him--but he keeps it under wraps. he’s gotten used to people leaving out of nowhere, but death of a close person is hard and he’d rather delete than express any form of ‘weakness’ around people.

but like, this is all super rare and he wouldn’t react this way to 99.9% of people. most of the time he just rolls his eyes and doesn’t see the ‘big deal’, bc truly he doesnt care.

his helmet, his trophies and his kart.

i mean, the guy is pretty possessive over his trophies and flaunts them, loves talking about his kart--i’d say he’s a pretty materialistic guy and likes having objects to show off certain things--status, victory, fame, what have you.

home, to him, is where things feel comfortable. where he can shine. home isn’t a person, nor is it a place, it’s a feeling to him--TurboTime definitely gives him that feeling for sure.

family is not a concept he really thinks of, honestly. he’d rather not and he thinks it’s schmaltzy. but if an outsider was to define it, it’d be someone who’d stick by him through absolute hell. and to stick by a little bastard like turbo? takes a lot.

32: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?)

MAN.... he has no concept of privacy unless it’s stuff he wants to omit, like certain things he doesn’t want to show (vulnerability). he can definitely overshare though and TMI is no stranger to turbo: i mean, this guy freely talks about sleeping around and answered a question before about his dick size. he doesn’t care. 

33: What makes them feel guilty?

nothing really that i can think of so far. he’s pretty shameless and will take pride in whatever it is he does. but like i said with regrets: you make the guy feel guilty, congrats. hard thing to do though, as he usually pins the blame on someone else and defensively likes to insist he did nothing wrong.

34: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?

EMOTIONAL HOO BOY. you’re talking about the biggest brat in gcs with a temper like dynamite: he rarely has time to analyze or think, even with a quick-witted brain. c’mon: this is the guy who gunned it to roadblasters, in his kart, no fucks given because he was jealous and angry and felt neglected. i can’t say that in this stage of life that he’s one who’s very analytical.

35: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?

a good race, usually, or hanging around people he considers to be ‘fun.’

36: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?

SUPERIORITY-COMPLEX ALL THE WAY. turbo refers to himself as a king frequently, i think he called himself a God like, once, and believes everyone is beneath him. no one is on his level, no exceptions, and he’ll laugh and kick you down until you realize it.

37: How misanthropic are they?

ehehhh .. not really? he has an attitude and gets annoyed by most people, but i wouldn’t call the guy a misanthrope.

38: Religion?

doesn’t really believe in it, but he’ll swear to Pong or Programmers every now and again in vain.

39: Superstitions or views on the occult?

not super superstitious and think it’s just a bunch of bullroar--he’s not one to ever take luck into account of anything he does. he thinks occult stuff is creepy and it unnerves him to no end.

40: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?

depends on the thoughts! usually it tends to be both because he’s such a blabbermouth that he can’t shut up, but he’s a physical enough person that he’ll do some display to express whatever it is that he’s expressing. in situations where he doesn’t know how to vocally express it, he usually does so through physical actions and gestures.

41: How do they express love?

kissing a mirror and stroking his own damn ego.

on a more serious note, turbo doesn’t really express ‘love.’ he doesn’t love anyone besides himself, after all, but how he acts towards people he tolerates/likes isn’t too bad. there’s nick names, picking on them and teasing them (he thinks it’s ‘funny’), and wanting their attention. he’ll hang around them whenever he wants (he doesn’t cling, per se, but he’ll frequently pester them and go out of his way for it), and if he sees a reason to be jealous/that they’re not paying attention to him and onto someone else, he’ll throw a huffy little fit over it.

now if we were talking about in relationships? he’d be such a jealous lover. a possessive one at that. someone gave you a flirty look? nah, he’ll smash their face in. he’d insist that youre ‘his’ and all that jazz.

42: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?

‘if’ hoo boy does turbo get into a LOT of fist fights. his fighting style is messy and vicious: turbo doesn’t cheat in racing, but he’ll do dirty tricks in a fight. he fights with his fists the most and will more often than not tackle whoever he’s pissed at, pin them down, choke them out, smash their face in. he’s not afraid to throw his helmet at you or slam it against your face for an upper hand. there’s no distinct style in what he does, it’s just a lot of grappling, rolling, kicking, punching, elbowing, scratching, choking and anything he can do to get a hit in.

43: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?

you wouldn’t think so, but yes! turbo is a dare devil, that much is certain: he lives for a rush and adrenaline boosters. he’s mouthed off to huge bugs (i recall him even taunting a huge group of them) and gotten into so much shit -- but he absolutely doesn’t want to full on die in a situation where he can’t regenerate. he’s terrified of dying alone, and worst of all, he doesn’t want to die a ‘peaceful’ death. he’d want to go out with the flashiest bang you can imagine, so that nobody ever forgets him.
