I tried to make a (rough) timeline of my draft plans for Trod Au from the current point the story is at to forwards in stream last night and it was certainly a task.

Timeline subject to change its allllll under construction and it's still missing a few pieces, I had to keep extending the line because there's actually a lot more that happens that aren't included but the canvas size would not let me go any bigger.

Also this timeline contains images from comics I haven't posted yet, so spoiler sensitive people be wary

one of my favorite things about zedaph is that on a server full of people that find strange and oft-overlooked minecraft mechanics or rare events and then see just how far they can push them in the name of spectacle or efficiency or world-breaking, zed is over here finding these mechanics in order to do the weirdest things he can think of in as entertaining a manner as possible

like i 100% have faith in zedaph's theoretical ability to be just as efficient or spectacular or world-breaking. if he wanted to do that stuff, i trust that he absolutely could. but thats so far from being his priority. instead, hes going to spend around a week of irl time focused entirely on eventually having the good luck to spawn in something insanely rare so that he can convert it into something even rarer, the result of which being something that 99% of the server reacts with complete and utter shock that it even exists in the first place, just because its zany and funny and he wanted to. and i love that

state of the union is like. buck is bisexual. yay! we love that. however he is currently dating someone who is hm. well. i shan't say. a man who was at minimum complicitly (if not outwardly) racist/sexist not so long ago, and not just in an amorphous hypothetical way but in a way that directly impacted buck's brother in law and a woman who he considers family so. okay. that's Bad, generally speaking, and it is sort of implied that there was some reconciliation there but it is also a little concerning that the boyfriend kind of talks about that time as like something that was done to him by an outside force (gerrard) rather than as something that he personally did as an active participant in his own life, like that genuinely does not bode well for him and the way he looks at the world.

and of course then there's eddie, who is buck's family and his partner and the father of the child who buck definitely does consider his own, and eddie is trapped in a hurricane of emotion (and possibly bees), and he is growing a mustache which is either part of an alternate universe, or part of a gay awakening, or honestly possibly just an earnest and realistic depiction of a quintessentially millennial mid-30s identity crisis. and i don't really know where we go from here but what i DO know is that if eddie himself is not also queer on some level, well first of all. his character and actions and storylines are genuinely inexplicable to me. but second of all, the show does sort of have to address the elephant in the room which is the fact (like, not just implication but actual fact) that buck has feelings for him. like even if eddie is straight as an arrow (lmao) buck is not, and their friendship is so far beyond normal that like. get real.

Getting real fucking tired of people going hurr durr the names of people and places in Dawntrail are just random keyboard smashes, how does one even pronounce this bullshit.

It's almost as if cultures outside of the standard white European/NA exist and the game/SE has drawn inspiration from it. Just please shut the fuck up, you had no issues with the Japanese names in Stormblood or the French ones in Heavensward. This is just becoming straight up racism.

Small Gravity Falls AU(?) Stuff

I like Reverse Falls as a concept but think it’d be more fun to do a role swap without a personality swap- so I’m throwing up some doodles/references for that. Probably going to just refer to it as Antigravity Falls for now since idk if that’s taken already.

Notes on the AU:

Stanford and Stanley switch the conman/cryptozoology theme, with Stanford running the Mystery Shack (A magician roadshow of sorts) and Stanley running the Gravity Falls Visitor Center + Cryptozoological Center

Bill acts as kind of a stagehand to Dipper and Mabel’s magic act.

Pacifica was forced to get a summer job, and picked the one that seemed the easiest, not guessing Stan would actually be dragging her out into ‘field work’ every other day.

Gideon was a child actor when he was a bit younger, but isn’t anymore. Took up the offer to avoid helping his dad with the Car Lot, and figured this would be interesting at least.

One of Stan’s eyes got clawed out by a gnome.

Robbie is a wannabe ghost-hunter-YouTuber, hence working for Stan of all people.

Gideon and Pacifica are still wealthy as far as this AU is concerned, but not as much as in the original storyline. It just doesn’t come up much since they’re boarding out in the woods with Stan.

Fiddleford is the one who’s stuck in the Nightmare Realm for 30 years.

The Audi

Homeplanet: Aodilea (Frontier) Habitat: Temperate Coastal Lifespan: ??? Diet: Mesocarnivore (50-70% meat consumption)

Evolving from ancient oceanic odontocetes off the northwestern coastline of the Frontier supercontinent, the Audi are gentle giants and reknowned for their pride, curiosity, and hospitality. Audi have exceptional hearing and tactile awareness to offset their incredibly poor eyesight that gets worse the older (and larger) they get. They also sport a handsome melon to assist in their own form of echolocation, a frequency too low for the human ear to parse. Species with more delicate hearing have often complained of Audi cities being the one of the most audibly overstimulating experiences due to this rumble being incessantly present.

Audi lack any form of dymorphism, as every individual has the capabilities to become pregnant and induce pregnancy.

The Audi are (assumedly) the longest-living species of sentient lifeforms in the Laurelai Galaxy. It is difficult to pinpoint age in any Audi due to their complete lack of any calendar system; Audi view time as constantly moving forward instead of cyclically repeating, and age records were never anything of value.

Because of their lack of birth dates, Audi categorize their lives into phases. Their first official phase is childhood, with their lack of an 'infant' category caused by the species having two fetal incubation periods: the first organic and the second synthetic. Audi give birth incredibly prematurely due to their narrow pelvic gap, and, to prevent damage and even death to the parent, birth is induced within a two-to-three month time period. Full fetal growth is achieved at ten to eleven months, with the second incubation period done with the asisstance of advanced medical technology that simulates a natural womb. Due to this technology, Audi's infant mortality rate went from 80% down to 25% with three out of four Audi infants reaching childhood.

The second phase is adulthood. What criteria needs to be met for this phase is up to speculation, as Audi seem keen on keeping that information private. What can be assumed is that it's personal for every Audi, and every Audi reaches adulthood at different times. Height ranges anywhere from 6'8" (203cm) to 9'11" (302cm) on average, with older individuals being on the taller end due to Audi constantly (albeit slowly) growing their entire lives.

The final phase is She, a coveted example of Audi excellence and potential. Reaching the phase of She takes an impossible amount of time and physical growth. Every She, of which there are currently six, has a leadership role, ranging from cultural preservation and the arts to science and engineering, with each She taking a 'mastery' of one of these core values of Audi society. An interesting note is that every She is referred to as 'She', making it difficult for outsiders to deduce which of the six She is being referenced. She cap out the Audi height range at an even 10' (304cm), though why this is considered maximum height or how they suppress growth past this point is still being studied.
