Imagine Ghost being an early filmmaker, I’m talking 30’s, still silent, black and white.

Imagine Soap being his star, his muse.

Imagine the fame it would gain them both, or well, the fame it’d gain Soap. Ghost was happy to fade into the background, his only care to keep Soap in his films.

Imagine the tangible yearning in the films being subject to controversy. Not because anything explicit, even for the time, but for the way it looked on Soap.

He was undeniably handsome. The way the camera loved him though, was subject to criticism. The way it would caress the curve of his brow, the slight bump in his nose, the flutter of his lashes. It got audience male and female alike in a flutter. The judgement fell on if it was a good influence, if it brought back the anarchy of the 20s.

But it was perfectly wholesome, just achingly intimate in a way no one could pin down.

Imagine Soap asking Ghost how he did it, how he managed the feat with so little to work off of.

And Ghost just leaning back, calling it a trick of the trade, like he wouldn’t (and hadn’t) clawed tooth and nail to immortalize Soap and all his beauty for centuries to come.

Like Soap wasn’t everything to him. His Galatea he slaved and begged to be given life, without thinking about how the other man would break him.

I can't stop carrying this in my heart. As funny as those videos of people bothering their cats are (like they hold their cat close for kisses and the cat goes aaaa), I think it's infinitely more rewarding to not do these tiny teasing things and get this rock solid trust between you and your pet.

Because by not crossing these boundaries ever, your cat becomes so heartwarmingly forgiving when you DO have to break a boundary for medicine or vet stuff. These animals who are often seen as solitary creatures who hide when feeling ill, will instead seek you out for comfort (looking for company but knowing you won't pet them if they don't want you to). You'll give them their medicine, but instead of running away afterwards, they'll stay and lift their tail, accepting of a job-well-done pet on the head. It's the most special bond you can create with a cat, I feel!

And all of this is not just coming from how sweet my late cat was when he fell ill last year, but also now with our young cat who's got a mild stomach virus. To be able to lift a sick cat towards the draining tub without a fight or fright, because you know she'd love to watch the drain (and she does). I dunno! That's just so special to me!

I wish that deep connection onto anyone with a cat! But I also think if you want that connection, you have to respect your cat's boundaries, no matter how minuscule or silly they might feel

Secret relationships kinda suck irl but secret relationship ronance is something that can be so personal

Robin feeling powerless, angry and jealous when boys try to flirt with her girlfriend, sometimes able to push them away but most times feeling like she can't say a thing lest dangerous rumors about her closeness with Nancy spreading.

Nancy getting irritated when Robin gets a bit too close or brushes her hand in public because they need to be careful, only to feel bad about it later and hugging her and not letting her go.

Sneaking quick kisses in the school's bathroom when no one is around. Nancy driving her to her house after an entire day of needing some alone time with her girlfriend, desperately. Parent-approved sleepovers where they do things most girl friends wouldn't do during sleepovers. Hiding secrets from their friends, only Steve and maybe Dustin knowing, because they don't know how the rest will react. Holding hands when no one is watching. Keeping watch during an Upside Down attack and brushing the other's hair while she sleeps. Nancy defending Robin with guns if needed and Robin defending Nancy with her silver tongue. Vecna using their secret against them and them debating whether they should tell the others the whole story or not.

Yesterday when I was cleaning out my closet I found a picture my little sister drew for me when she was like 5 or 6 (and not a little teenaged HATER), it made me cry and then I IMMEDIATELY slapped it in a frame

thinking about Bumblebee and Breakdown being two little guys. having normal lives. getting up to shenanigans. causing trouble, being silly. working jobs, going to races on weekends.

and then, after the war starts, Bumblebee realises... Breakdown isn't here anymore. not beside him every second. the whirlwind of war didn't let him see soon enough. he tries to fill the space of someone like him with the Autobots, but no one fits with him like a glove anymore, and relationships take time to deepen. he doesn't quite find another Breakdown.

they meet up one day. either on the side of a battle, or somewhere private after one of them spies on the other's faction.

both of them see it's not the same - and can never be. they try - oh they try to talk it out. the conversation turns into a spat about their faction and choices somewhere in the five minutes. they leave bitter, disappointed, and hurt.

Kazuichi: lots of praise and conditional affection (now that you're addicted to being my favourite little puppy, sure would be sad if you did something to make me and my friends mad and not like you anymore. Akane: a little harder, but she's very gullible and easy to trick into doing things, and has a LOT of trauma to tap into (maybe something along the lines of, "the world is a shitty place and no one ever helped you when you needed it, right? Only way to be safe from that is to be not only strong, but scary. Show them they can't mess with you! KILL")

Hey so, I’ve been made aware of a little issue so please: If you see anybody who has reposted or used my art without credit could I ask that it be reported?

Look I dont mind if people use my art for things like pfps and other some such, as long as there is credit, and that they dont claim it as their own. Reposting is iffy at best but as long as I’m credited it’s fine.
