What can we expect from 2024 dear!?? 😌

2024 has a lot going on; there are so many astrological transits happening that have a huge impact on all of us.

January 1, 2024: Mercury went direct after being in retrograde for several weeks. This means communication gets better, legal documents can be signed without issues, and anything related to speech is cleared up.

January 20 - September 1, 2024: Pluto enters Aquarius. This is going to be a wild ride. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was around the late 1700's, and during that time, the world underwent MASSIVE change. Both the American and French Revolutions occurred, coups happened with governments, royalty was dethroned, battles and wars were fought, the first wave of feminism began, etc. There's so much more than this. You should see the list. I'll include it here--start around 1777 and go through 1798. Pluto represents death, rebirth, and transformation, while Aquarius represents humanity and technology. When you pair these two, you're looking at major transformation socially, politically, economically, and technologically. There's a brief retrograde into Capricorn for one last time during our lifetime, and then Pluto will return to Aquarius for another 20 years. It's interesting to note that the rise and fall of empires throughout history is around 250 years. The cycle for Pluto is 245 years. Coincidence? I think not.

February 16, 2024: A stellium in Aquarius. A stellium occurs when three or more planets are in the same house/sign in an astrological chart. This Aquarius stellium will feature Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto. The last time this occurred was in February, 1962, and was commonly referred to as the "Age of Aquarius." This time period brought about major changes in the fields of technology, science, and aerospace. I'm afraid that during this time, though, there will be a strong focus on AI and its advancement. Pay attention to headlines regarding an upgrade in technology.

March 25, 2024: Lunar eclipse in Libra. Major historical events typically coincide with lunar eclipses, and since this one will be in Libra, I foresee society wishing for balance, harmony, peace, and justice. I believe this will be a time that humanity will call for us to take a deeper look at how we can end strife and get along with each other. Be ready for major calls for wars and upheaval to end (even though it's happening now, this will be on a much larger scale with this eclipse).

April 8, 2024: Solar eclipse in Aries. On the flip side of the lunar eclipse, we have the solar eclipse in Aries. This will be a time where we start anew and are ready to charge down a new path. Mars' energy represents war, destruction, violence, revenge, but also strength. This particular eclipse is warning us about war and destruction on a collective level because it'll be conjunct the North Node (the direction we're all going). I believe we're headed into a total collapse and rebirth when we add in the Pluto in Aquarius energy, but it's something that needs to happen for us to evolve as a civilization.

May 25, 2024: Jupiter in Gemini, which is actually in detriment. This means the energy is weaker in this sign for the planet. Expect changes in telecommunications (voice, data, and video) and social media, since Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication.

June 2, 2024: Neptune is anaretic. Anaretic means that a planet has entered the 29th degree, which holds a sense of finality because this planet has transited all 30 degrees (starting at 0). It's ready to move on and cut ties. What does this mean for Neptune? Well, the planet of illusions will lift its veil and a lot of what we've held onto in our beliefs will die out. Some people will still try to hold on (sunk-cost fallacy) because they're stubborn, but the majority of people will release, mourn, and deal with the fallout that's going to be super messy. Imagine the feeling of being betrayed by someone you love. That's what Neptune lifting it's veil is going to feel like for most. Again, collectively, we NEED this energy for healing and spiritual growth.

July 21, 2024: Full Moon in Capricorn. Most of the time, nothing major happens on full moons, but this one is interesting because it falls on an anaretic degree, just like Neptune. Capricorn represents structure, discipline, rigidity, and order (its ruler is Saturn), so we're going to see some upheaval in regards to these issues. The old way of doing things will no longer serve the same purpose. This is the equivalent of saying, "Out with the old, in with the new."

August 5, 2024 – August 28, 2024: Mercury Retrograde in Virgo and Leo. With Mercury rx in Virgo, this might be a time where you lose or misplace documents, feel irritated, have constant miscommunication, or face scrutiny from the general public. Remember to write down important deadlines and keep everything organized so you don't lose anything. With Mercury rx in Leo, I'm fully expecting some celebrity scandals during this time. Otherwise, it'll be a time of thinking about trying something new or wanting to get out and do something fun.

September 17, 2024: Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. This will happen in the 25th degree (an Aries degree), so anyone with heavy Pisces placements will have creative breakthroughs during this time. We'll see a rise in great music, art, poetry and literature, as well as film and visual arts. This time period might feel very dreamy and whimsical on the art scene.

October 2, 2024: Solar Eclipse in Libra. We had the lunar eclipse in Libra in March, so now, the solar eclipse will bring justice and balance. Anyone with Libra placements in early degrees will feel the need to purge what's not working. Even though most Librans are peaceful, this will be a time of upheaval. Expect people to help the oppressed even more (seeking justice) in a world that needs to be more fair and balanced (Libra energy).

November 19, 2024: Pluto goes direct in Aquarius for twenty years, until March 8, 2043. Buckle up! It's going to be a bumpy-but-necessary ride.

November 25, 2024 – December 15, 2024: Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius. We all know what happens during Mercury rx, but what happens when it's in Sagittarius? Sagittarius represents higher education and learning, all things foreign and travel-related, religion, and spirituality. Expect religious or spiritual leaders, as well as educational leaders at universities, to have private documents leaked, misinformation stemming from foreign countries and media, as well as travel issues (delays, being rerouted, lots of crowds, etc.). This will not be a good time to travel.

December 6, 2024 – February 24, 2025: Mars Retrograde in Cancer and Leo. This is going to be...interesting. Mars hates being in Cancer; it's in detriment. Why? Cancer represents empathy and compassion, while Mars represents a more masculine energy that strives towards war, violence, and destruction. Cancer wants to provide a resolution to all of the conflict occurring, while Mars isn't having it. Expect masculine energies, especially men, to be more irritated and aggressive during this time. This duo can bring about discussion regarding balancing masculine and feminine energy, which we all have. Because Cancer is represented by the Moon, or the "mother" in astrology, expect some discussions about fertility and reproduction, birth rates (especially the low birth rates of some countries), marriage (or lack thereof), and any social dynamics with males and females. These discussions will carry over into 2025.

2024 is going to be a year that'll go down in history, that's for sure. One silver lining in all of this is that Venus does NOT retrograde this year, so we might see or hear about fewer breakups, and we might see or hear about more people entering into relationships and staying together.

I've been eyeing Mars' transit of (sidereal) Gemini for an announcement for a while. It started on 12 March and goes until 9/10 May. You'll note that the ending date is right after the coronation.

Guyyyys, I'm finally here to share the tea on my allegedly twin flame (I won't address him as the legitimately one until I'm fully convinced so please take this story with a grain of salt).

The legend tells Asteria wanted human warmth and someone to call "hers" somewhere around this time last year, so she decided to give dating apps a chance. After one disgraceful disappointment after another, I (let's stop using third person to speak atm) realized I needed to heal myself if I ever wanted to have a normal intimate life with someone else and that not all men were trash... Just traumatized by their parents? Probably as much as I was, lol.

I was on my way to uninstall Bumble from my phone when I got a text from the last match I got. I checked his profile and he honestly looked like a cute and empathetic guy, yet I was fed up with hoping from one man to another and I ignored the last message I received from him.

3 moths later I came back to this app, but I wasn't interested in using the dating option. There's a bff service on the app and I was looking for female friends from the city I lived to hang out with. Unfortunately, all chats were paired up in the same place and I couldn't stop seeing that unanswered chat from the cute guy. I waited for one week until I was fully convinced I should text him and expect no reply. Ha! Things only turned wilder afterwards 🙃🙃 I don't want this story to drag on forever, so I'm going to list everything that have happened recently and weird shit I noticed in his one month absent.

Archangels rarely summon me. That's my relatives thing, not mine as I work directly with the gods. But Saint Raphael was practically begging me to sit down and speak to him, so I went for a meditation to try and see what he wanted. I was expecting the archangel to give me a warning on my poor health or any advice related to my recent life decisions.

I pulled some cards for further clarification and right there was my crush depicted on the spread 💀 I went berserk for the second time since I couldn't believe my guides were speaking about someone that didn't belong to my family or wasn't actually close to me.

Balthazar has a daughter he never met - despite his megalomaniac personality, he had a girlfriend who he eventually left behind on his villainous way;

Her name was Roselle Moreau and she didn't tell Balthazar she's pregnant when he was leaving because she felt he wouldn't stay anyway;

Balthazar's daughter is named Colette Moreau, she's 21 years old (b. 5th October 2002; Libra = the Scales) and she's a shy and reserved yet very talented hobby dancer and a university student of Philosophy (Toronto university);

Colette doesn't know exactly who her father is/was because Roselle doesn't want to talk about him - she only told her daughter her father was a jerk and a criminal, so Collete isn't looking for him;

Fact: Balthazar is Canadian, was born there and was living there until the age of 11 - I made this headcanon because of how he spoke French in Despicable Me 3 without any problems. My first thoughts of why his French is so good were that he's either somebody who's good at learning languages or somebody whose native language is French (which appealed to me more) - however, I would expect him to have at least a slight French accent if he was meant to be from France (which is characteristic for one of my OCs of this AU). That's why I decided to put Balthazar in a country that has two official languages and one of them is French (so the accent doesn't have to be there) - I eventually chose Canada;

After 'Despicable Me 3", the male minion tribe divided - a bigger part of them ran away with Dru while the rest of the tribe, those who weren't willing to become villains again, stayed with Gru;

Mel (full name "Melvin" in my AU) is the actual alpha of the male minion tribe and the one who's in charge of Dru's group of minions;

Kevin, the second in charge, stayed with Gru and became an alpha of the smaller group of the minions at Gru's house - his reasons for it were simple: he developed slight PTSD after being in prison, he didn't feel any anger towards Gru anymore and was able to renew his loyalty and the most important, he himself wasn't interested in crime anymore and just wanted to have a nice and calm life;

A small chicken minion from "Minions: The Rise of Gru" is still alive - he lost almost all his feathers (except some feathers on his head and arms), his beak reformed into normal minion mouth, his teeth grew and even his arms and legs became more minion-like;

He also talks normally;

My headcanon: Stuart named his "child" Chico - it means "kid/boy" in Spanish and it also sounds like "chicken", a little. Chico is a complete opposite of his father: silent, shy, gentle, polite yet filled with energy. He stayed with Dave after Despicable Me 3 while Stuart ran away with Dru - Chico misses his dad but doesn't feel any anger towards him.

Fact: Minions can breed in my AU;

Mel is the oldest male minion and has seven younger brothers, (including Steve and Stuart, who's actually the youngest brother), as well as a big number of cousins;

This also means Chico is Mel's nephew;

Lucy left her relatives (those who are alive) because she wanted to take revenge on that villain who murdered her parents, grandparents and great-grandmother;

snakes! all the savant have animal associatations, and sadihak's is snakes. i'm just making that their default favorite animal because it's easy. the specific snake that is associated with sadihak is called the watersnake in universe, but it's just a fancier version of the real life water mocassin, which is a venomous, water-dwelling pit viper native to the marshy regions of the southeastern united states. i chose snakes for sadihak's animal because of their generally devious and sneaky reputation, and water mocassins because sadi has an association with water as well (and they live in a very marshy region of the young gods world)

sadihak is like me because we're both nonbinary bisexual disaster whores /j. in reality, sadihak gets alot of traits from me (tho not as many as some of the other savant). they're passionate about the arts, they're fun, they're a disaster. tho, i like to think i'm not as dramatic as sadihak. i would not get along with them in any universe i write them in and that's why i love them so much. they'd suck to be around.

sadihak was actually the last of the savant i created, and the last to be fully developed. i created them around late october 2021, tho their birthday is june 8th so they can be a gemini (disclaimer- months dont have the same names in young gods but im too lazy to come up with a calendar system on the spot). sadihak probably cares the most about birthdays of the savant (barring petrai, who only cares about them so she can track ages), but even then, they don't care much. it's nice to be celebrated, but also, once you've had twenty-five thousand something, they get a little boring. (and no one wants a reminder of how old you're getting)

19. are they quick to anger? what sets them off?

sadihak is, at least on the surface level, very slow to anger. if they're upset with something, they won't let it show. instead, they'll keep up a calm, relaxed facade. they're actually very quick to anger, and is actually upset about something at any given time, but they won't show it unless they're really pissed off (and even then, it's usually just a slip of the mask- its very rare they actually get angry at anyone). sadihak likes to keep their cool and appear on-top of things, even when it compromises their mental well-being. they're most upset when they feel they've been betrayed or disrespected.

tourn sadihak, adversely, is incredibly quick to anger and incredibly vocal about it. unlike their young gods counterpart, they don't have much to loose by being vocally angry, so they'll be mad at whoever they want, however they want. this often lands them in weird fights with weird teenagers, but that's not entirely their fault. they will often try to avoid confrontation if possible, but when they're pissed off, it shows.

Caleb - He is far more destructive and emotional than Cory. Caleb has always been very reactive and hard on himself, and he's a sensitive person. Seeing injustice pisses him off and he can react rather impulsively at times which can get him in trouble. He loves deeply, feels deeply, and he walks around constantly worrying about all the world's troubles... this is a heavy weight on him if he bottles everything up for too long. He is mostly destructive toward himself, and if we're talking a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being not destructive at all to 5 being extremely destructive... he's hit that 5 before. But at his best honestly he is a 1, maybe a 2 on really bad days! He's actually so gentle and loving by default, and has dealt with a lot of hardship at the same time.

Cory - Cory is a pragmatic and logical person. His approach to conflict can be externally destructive because he is prone to being insensitive, snide, or unintentionally dismissive to emotional people (obviously this causes a lot of tension with his brother). At his worst and most stressed, he's only ever maybe been a 3 on the destructive scale, and by destructive I mean toward his relationships with others, not himself. He has been known to shut people out in stress or just out of anger, and in doing so he has lost people he cares about. He just isn't good at being vulnerable or talking about his feelings, and he'd rather just deal with an issue and move on. If something is too heavy, he'll sincerely avoid it to the best of his ability. But he does feel guilt when he hurts someone or cuts someone out... but he's the kind of person that would say "What's done is done" and he would move on, not allowing himself to really grieve the loss :/

New Year's Resolutions with Saturn/Aquarius

Saturn is definitely the planet we want to look at, when we're making New Year's Resolutions. He shows us where there is ground for improvement. We also start our calendar during Capricorn, Saturn's sign - and this year, we have a powerful Capricorn New Moon on January 2.
