(Sorry for the long wait and ant could color the background but eh your here for the story anywaysXD)

When morning came, in the critter’s home, where loud snores could be heard. Bobby woke up, already full of energy. She jumped softly out of her bed, as she stretched her body. She looked out the window, seeing the sun not yet out .she looked at her messy roommates still asleep. ‘Well then, time to go to work!’ She thought, as she walked out of the room, and into the kitchen,on her way to the kitchen, she saw a sleeping catnap on the couch. Seeing as he didn’t had a blanket, she went back to their bedroom and took one, slowly putting it on him and continued to go towards the kitchen.

As she looked inside the fridge and cabinets, she decided today would be some old fashion pancakes with eggs and bacons. As she took a bowl and a whisk, she begun to put the flour, butter, milk and eggs, a tablespoon of sugar, some baking powder, and a pinch of salt. As she whisked it all together, humming a tune. She begun to ready the pan and heat it up.

Getting the butter and putting it on the heated pan, as she puts batter in, setting the timer, she peaked her head outside the kitchen to see catnap still asleep.Guess all the ruckus bobby’s been making didn’t wake him. she heard her timer pinging, so She went back and flipped the pancake, seeing the pancake a golden brown shade she smiled at her work, she continued this for an hour, before she heard the door to their room opening. “Bobby? You’re up early today.” Said a yawning bubba who looked in the kitchen, seeing the large stack of pancakes. “….what the occasion today? You seem to have made more than you usually do…” bubba asked.

seeing his friend happy isn’t rare or something, but today bobby seems to be more happy than usual. “Oh, good morning bubba! How was your day yesterday?” Bobby smiled, as she asked bubba. “....Stressful, some of the colleges applications the kids wanted to go to has essays. And I also need to interview them a bit. How was your day yesterday? When we came home, you weren’t here. Dogday went to panic mode you know.” He said beside bobby as he smiled at his last sentence. “Oh, i just had a little chat with our savior…. ….Maybe not so little.. hehe.” She answered, scratching her cheek while she flipped the pancake.

Bubba then helped take the pancakes to the table when bobby finally finished the last batch. “Well, next time try to leave a note at the table so we would know. “ he said as he smiled sleepily at bobby.” I’ll wake the others up, try to wake catnap if ya can” bubba said as he went to their bedroom.

As bobby walk towards the couch and stood in front of it, who has the still sleeping catnap with eyes bags under his eyes. She crouched down and tapped his face repeatedly “ cattttttttnnnaaaaapppp, wake up sleepy headdddd” she dragged as she continued to tap his face. He grumbled as he tried to grab bobby’s hand.” Quit it…..” he quietly mumbled as he tried to go back to sleep. “ oh no you don’t! It’s morning and i made breakfast! Wake up sleepy head!" Bobby shouted in front of catnap, as she tried to force him out of bed, Which resulted with him face planted to the floor. "Bobby!" A voice from the door loudly shouted, when bobby faced them she was forced to the ground as dogday hugged her. "When i came home, you weren't here!? Which was not so you... since you're always here when we come home..... WHERE WERE YOU YESTERDAY!??!" He nuzzled bobby's neck as he whined. As bobby calmed down from the sudden hug, she wrapped her roommate in a hug.

that was until she could feel a glare from somewhere. When she looked back to catnap, she could see him still face planted to the floor, but now glaring at the two hugging each other. It was silent, except for dogday's morning affection, oblivious to the glaring cat.

Then bobby suddenly thought of something. As she nuzzled dogday too, catnap suddenly stood up going to ponce, until bobby turned dogday and softy pushed him towards catnap, who suddenly melted in dogday's hands. "Ah! Good morning catnap!" Dogday greeted loudly as his tail wagged, hugging catnap to his chest. Bobby smiled while chuckling at the jelly kitten. "Well then! Since the cat is now fully awake, we can finally start breakfast!" Bobby clapped her hands together, as the door to their room opened again." Well it seems you woke the cat up, morning dogday." Bubba said as he opened the door for the others. "Morning!" Picky suddenly said as she peaked her head out the door. When she suddenly saw the pile of pancakes she dashed to the table, already waiting for the others to sit down. "Come onnnnn im starving!!" She loudly said as the others groggily walk toward the table with them saying "morning or good morning" when everyone is now settled, while dogday dropped the still sleepy catnap on the chair. Picky suddenly begun to eat, not waiting for the others. Dogday trying to wake the cat again, since he begun to sleep in the table. And the others begun to talk about their day yesterday.

As the conversation continued, hoopy suddenly asked bobby."so, you got any plans today bobs?" At that question, the other critters looked at bobby, waiting for an answer. "Well, actually i plan to go to the flower field again... if it's fine?"

She said as the critters begun to get curious about her answer.

"Flower field..... you-you mean the nearby flower field out of the borders?!"

Crafty stuttered as she looked at her back to booby."didn't the 'munched' savior sa-'munched' ehem.. sorry, said that out of the borders without supervising is a big no no?" Picky asked gulping the food she was munching. Dogday was going to say something before he was interrupted by the purple cat he was nagging,"my god said he could allow bobby to go to the flower field as she likes, she has met an interesting person out there they said." Catnap suddenly spoke, face still on his arms. It was silent for a second, before chaos accrued.

"YOU SPOKE TO A HUMAN OUTSIDE THE BORDERS!?!!??"

Everyone, except catnap and hoppy shouted.

Bobby was suddenly bombarded with questions like…

“Who are they?!”

“How did you meet!?!”

“Are they nice!?!”

“D-do they like to painting???”

And more.

As bubba snapped out of his shocked trace he begun to stop the other critters from crowding bobby.” Ok, that’s enough questions for now! let bobby breathe!” Bubba said as the others suddenly came to their senses, and looked down to their feet in disappointment.

“Its-s fine, but it will take a long time to explain, is that ok?” Bobby asked, the others looked at each others or a while until they smiled at bobby, and in sync they said “ we have all the time to hear the full story!” As they smiled their iconic smile.

In (y/n) house, where their grandmother suddenly shouted outside their door. “(Y/N)!!!ITS MORNING GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED!!" (Y/N) Grumbled as they tried to bury their face in their pillow. "5 more min.u...e.." they tried to say but has fallen asleep again. It was suddenly cut short because of their door suddenly opening. "YOUNG MAN ITS MORNING AND IM TOO OLD TO DO ALL THE HEAVY WORK!! NOW GET OUT OF BED!! " grandma shouted, which resulted with (Y/N) getting up with drool on their pillow and face.

"... and get your face washed, you look like a mess. I'll be waiting outside then... do NOT take too long!!" She said as she begun to go down stairs. (Y/N) yawn as they walk towards the their washroom, splashing their face with water, and brushing their teeth.

When they were done, they begun to speed walk down stairs, and when they went outside, they see their grandmother chopping some fire woods."took you long enough! Now get here and help me with these" she said as she gestured to the previous fire woods she had cutted. As (Y/N) begun to help their grandma bring the fire woods in their shed, their grandma suddenly asked."so who was that new friend of yours, you said yesterday?" (Y/N). Stayed quiet before they begun. "Someone i suddenly met in the flower field... it was like... friend at first sight kinda thing?" (Y/N) chucked as they looked aways when their grandma looked at them with a smirk."friends at first sight ehh," HA! oh (Y/N), you always used weird words...but.. i expected that... after all you are the grandchild of the man i adored~" grandma said smiling brightly when she saw her grandchild blushing at the compliment.'you both are truly alike' she thought as she looked at her grandchild.

As the two continued their work for an hour or so, (Y/N) looked at the day, and suddenly remembered. "Grandma, umm im going to go meet my friend at the same field again.... and um.. i might be late when i-" they were interrupted when their grandma slapped hard on their back, which made them stand straight. "HA, go and have fun!! Ahhh my grandkid is now making true friends~ what good news" at their grandma's answer, they were about to argue, but remembered how their old friends was.

At the sudden gloominess surrounding them, their grandma took their chin and made them look at her, with a warm smile she begun."I'm happy you found a truthful friend in a short time dear, and if they do become like the old ones... im always here to beat them up!" With a clutch fist and a sweet smile on her face, it both made (Y/N) laugh and scared at the same time. "Thanks grandma" they mumbled as they hugged their grandmother tightly."now go out there little shrimp!! And stop hugging me tightly!! You're straining my back already." She jokingly said as she looked at her growing grandchild.

When (Y/N) finishing packing their stuff, they waved goodbye to their grandmother as they walked towards the far away field.

Their grandmother waved until she couldn't see them anymore.

"Your grandkid is finally opening up again Alfred.... how i hope you were here to see them once more" she quietly said, beside a photo frame, as she looked at the clear sky while siting on their backyard.

qsmp eggs as D&D characters because I can't help but fuse both of my current fixations together

Chayanne — Ive decided that every single egg is a dragonborn for the sake of simplicity, so that just brings me to figuring out class and subclass for each of them. I originally was thinking a simple fighter for Chayanne, but then, upon remembering what was quite literally an oath to protect everyone, decided he'd make a rather good paladin, particularly oath of devotion. he's devoted to keeping everybody safe, no matter the cost. if I were to give him a breath weapon, it'd be fire. he's a dragonborn paladin (devotion)!

Tallulah — Tallulah was always going to be a bard, are you kidding me? from there, looking through all the bard subclasses, I figured lore suited her best. she collects info! she gave qwil that book full of info about marigolds, she asks questions so she can know more about the world. yeah. she's a smart girl. dragonborn bard (lore).

Dapper — this is THE artificer. this autistic fuck (/affectionate bc me too buddy, me too) loves everything machinery, and he's fuckin good at it, too. considering his additional love for collecting animals, I've decided to make him a battle smith so he can have a steel defender. he would take very good care of it. I considered armorer due to the unique sets of armor I've seen him wear, but battle smith suited him just a tad better. he's a dragonborn artificer (battle smith).

Ramón — Ramón is also THE artificer! they are artificer pals. while Dapper focuses more on combat-ready mechanics, Ramon's been doing a lot of work on his elevator. also, bombs! fuck, he and qfit have so many bombs, they're practically their first line of defense. therefore, artillerist. he's good at throwing shit across the battlefield, staying stationary and hunkered down. dragonborn artificer (artillerist).

Leonarda — Leo was a little difficult. from the beginning, I knew I wanted her to be a primarily martial class, but I didn't want to leave her without any magic, either. so I figured a monk could be fitting due to their innate ki. considering. you know. dragon. I just had to give her ascendant dragon. dragonborn monk (ascendant dragon).

Bobby — oh yeah, this boy's a fighter alright. I considered barbarian for his tendency to sometimes throw tantrums, but it just wasn't right for him. I definitely considered gunslinger, but he's not particularly known for his guns, and I was eventually led to banneret, aka the purple dragon knights. he's definitely one of the braver kids, and I think his bold deeds could definitely inspire those around him. Bobby is a dragonborn fighter (banneret).

Richarlyson — he was kind of difficult! Richarlyson has picked up a number of skills from all six of his dads, making him fairly versatile and all-around skilled. I was, however, leaning a more martial class, and looked to monk first. none of the subclasses felt right, so I went bard due to their jack of all trades thing. wasn't right, so I thought about ranger, and that seemed like it could work due to their wide range of specialization. looking through subclasses, I picked monster slayer out of the bunch. just about all of his dads are terrorized by cucurucho in one way or another. he's practically got a sixth sense for the fucker now. Richarlyson's a dragonborn ranger (monster slayer).

Tilín — that's a rogue. yeah. that's a rogue. qQ himself taught them all about lying to other people to get what you want, and you're gonna tell me that's not a fucking rogue? right. rogue has a ton of interesting subclasses, but I felt like soulknife was a really interesting pick for her. soulknife rogues focus on the manipulation of the mind, fucking with a person's head to change their perception or easily slip by them. felt like they could use a little bit of magic, too, so he's got the psionic abilities that come with it. this is a dragonborn rogue (soulknife).

Juanaflippa — considered fighter gunslinger, but this is also a rogue! not a particularly magical one, though. Juanaflippa never really had much, always too busy shooting guns and coping with her parents' numerous divorces. HOWEVER, when you consider the whole necromancy element of her character (died, came back, fucking died again) on top of all the headcanons of her haunting the island, she's a pretty fun phantom. she's got an innate connection to death and the undead, and she knows what's dead when she sees it. I debated scout, but phantom was too cool to pass up. dragonborn rogue (phantom) for her.

Trump — I don't know shit about trump, but I like to think that if he survived longer, he would've taken after the crazy science aspect of both his dads, giving it a magical twist and going wizard. figured either evocation or abjuration would be good subclasses for him. decided on abjuration because damn, that's what this kid needed. dragonborn wizard (abjuration).

Cellbit considering Bobby his son even though he and Roier married after Bobby died reminds me so much of one of my favorite obscure and underrated qsmp scenes:

There was an egg task that was "Paint pictures with one of the other eggs and/or their parent" but not many people were online. But Max was, and Cellbit told Richas "You know, Max is still a father. His son might be gone, but he will always be his son's father." So they went to Max's base, and Max expected Cellbit to have some intense lore puzzle or bad news, but no. Cellbit explained the task and his logic that Max still counts as a parent and Max paused for a second and said something like "You know what? You're goddamn right. I will always be my son's father." And they had a good time painting together. (I wish I remembered what vod it was but sadly I do not, and I don't have enough time right now to find it.)

It's the same "love and family transcend death" logic that made Cellbit refer to Bobby as his son without even questioning it.

Love and family is beyond death. Cellbit loved and cared for Bobby enough to see him as his son and death ain't gonna stop him from doing that

(Also a small fun fact. In brazil its kinda rare you see kids calling their stepdads 'stepdad'. If a kid likes, respects, and cares, they'll call dad. If not, its "mom's boyfriend/husband". If a kid uses stepdad to refer to the guy their parent married, that kid literally hates that guy's guts or the guy hates the kid and keeps them for calling him dad or, something not that common, the kid's bio dad is still present in their life and the kid likes him enough to not call someone else their dad)

One thing I think we don't talk enough about Q!Forever is that he has a problem-solver personality.

I used to be like that and I struggled a lot when I was a teenager because of that, and I think it's give a pretty good explanation of where his character is going lore-wise and why he's doing it that way.

Firstly, we could see pretty easily that he's always trying to solve every problem he's facing on the server as fast as he could.

Bobby died and the eggs are in danger of the same? Ninho was ready in a few days

The code shows the players that the only way to access the Nether is to go by train? He built a gigantic contraption to bring everybody's there.

Foolish wanted an eternal banana? Say no more !

And there's a ton of more pertinent examples of that I'm sure

People has said in the past that q! Forever is impulsive, but for me, it's more that he can't just stand there when things are bad. He needs to find a solution, he NEEDS to act. This is part of who he is.

But the thing that can be annoying when you're constantly in problem-solving mode, it's that everybody around you aren't necessary like you. How many times has we seen q! Forever doing stuff hastily to makes things work when other players were in the backroom? A lot. And when you experience that on a daily basis, you may start to get frustrated.

(I just want to add that it isn't a way to bash other CC! Characters. Everybody has their own way to play and have fun on the server, and they are ALL VALID! I'm talking about the characters in role play only)

About Forever arc

I think a lot of is current arc has to do with that feeling. The feeling that he's doing too much and people are not appreciating it, not appreciating him, enough. But he can't stop. He can't just let things happen without trying to help. Because it's how he is. The problem solver. The helper. The good friend.

So, how do one manage in this kind of situation? By becoming even more controlling. People won't help him make a better Island? Then he will impose thing that help the resident. He will do everything he can to protect and help everybody, even against their will. Him getting the president job is actually an interesting thing for his character because it gave him the control he needed to feel like he's making positive changes. He can now try to solve every problem on the Island...

But, as someone that "been there, done that", I can tell you it willn't work. Tensions are going to continue to rise between him and other because being a problem-fixer usually made you forget something very important in life: Not everything need to be fixed.

It took me years to realize that. Something you just need to... let go. If you try to always carry everybody on your shoulder, you are just going to die of exhaustion. And fixing everything is impossible. So you are just becoming more and more exhausted. People around you are growing more distant because you are constantly trying to fix their life instead of just... being there for them.

I think this is where q!Forever is right now. His need to help his conflicting with other Islander needs to be imperfect and the constant conflict made him feel lonely and underappreciated.

This is so interesting in terms of role play because there are several routes he could take. Will he continue to hold, with his resentment growing deeper and deeper? Will he learn to let go and accept that thing sometimes suck, and it's okay to not take responsibility for it?

Will he succeed in making players enjoy the Island?

WATCH A DAY 1 VOD!!!! if you already have watched one pov, watch another from someone else! day 1 vods are so funny and deranged and really set the initial tone that really was the server's vibes basically up until the brazilians arrived

the egg event day! tbh watch any pov but roier's and jaiden's are really really good

the conclusion of the happy pills arc was an incredible day; i know it's probably soured for a lot of folks, and that's understandable, but if you never watched it and feel up for it, check out pac's and cellbit's pov of it because it's wonderful (pac didn't stream the actual conclusion himself, so you'll have to watch cellbit's to see the full conclusion of pac and forever getting the risus antidote)

idr what day it was exactly but the day bobby was killed by the code and lost his first life is a super interesting vod from several povs-- namely roier's, cellbit's, phil's, bad's, and probably some other folks? a LOT of lore stuff happened that day that was super interesting

cellbit's may 7 vod (featuring the cucurucho chainsaw hallway) + his may 10 vod (featuring him screaming and revving a chainsaw at the sight of cucurucho); tbh, if you're into qcellbit, watch his first week vods if you haven't because they're IMPECCABLE they decided to immediately torture him and also gave him so many puzzles it was great. this whole era of theory bros/ordo theoritas was incredible generally too so max's and bad's vods are also very very fun watches and they didn't spend a million hours deciphering an ARG so their vods are easier to get through

the day wilbur found tallulah is so fucking funny we were all losing our shit over the admins making an egg literally just for wilbur and to his credit wilbur did actually log on a ton those two weeks

bagi's arrival IMPECCABLE tbh watching anyone's day 1/arrival vod is a good idea they're usually pretty enlightening & fun; watch her pov as well as anyone else's because from what i remember they had to do a bunch of weird puzzles to get to her

similarly, carre's first day is very funny and chill vibes very enjoyable

(i'm that anon that wrote the buck being giddy and sore and having beard-burn all over his body thing) they get back to the station. buck puts his outer gear away after checking it over for tears, and walks up to the loft to get something to drink and another coffee. eddie and hen are talking about some playdate for denny and christopher for when karen and hen pick up their new foster and chimney is on the phone with maddie (something about the wedding), but buck only listens half-heartedly. his uniform is getting a little uncomfortable, it's chafing in the wrong places and he really doesn't want to be teased about puffy nipples thank you very much, and the cream tommy put on this morning has either been sweated off or has sunk into his skin. point being, he should probably apply some more cream to avoid even more chafing. it's not nearly as fun when it's caused by cotton rather than tommy's stubble, and the soothing kisses and teasing nips at his skin that are missing definitely have something to do with it. the soreness in his glutes is really nice though, and he kind of revels in it. it feels like after a really good workout. makes him feel accomplished. and the 3 orgasms in a little over 12 hours are definitely a benefit he doesn't get from going to the gym. jfc, he's at work he needs to reign in his thoughts. it's like he's a horny teenager discovering his own body for the first time. and yes, technically he is experiencing a lot of new things and firsts, and sure, maybe in a few months he'll brag about his stamina as a man in his 30's but now? now all of this is very inconvenient. hey y'all remember soul eater? i just randomly remembered soul eater existed and then my brain got taken over by cubitos about it. if you don't remember soul eater, the important thing to know is that some people can shapeshift into magical weapons wielded by partners called meisters. technically anyone can become a meister, but it is a thing you do have to train to do while being a weapon is something you're born with. anyway, this first post is just characters' first impressions of each other and i'll make another post with more secrets and truths if ppl are interested (i was gonna make it this one but this post is getting Long)

Spreen is a cocky and extremely well trained meister who is used to working with his brother Missa or his Good Pal Roier who are both relatively laid back and used to his shenanigans. He absolutely deserves to be cocky given how absurdly skilled he is, but he clashes badly with fiercely independent, reserved, and paranoid grenade launcher Fit of 2b2t. Fit sees Spreen as an entitled brat and they simply do not vibe with each other well enough for Spreen to wield him.

Fit will let Ramón wield him fairly freely because it's important for kids to learn these things early, but prefers to handle any situation where Ramón might actually be in danger by himself.

Quackity Luzu and Wilbur

Quackity is a single chainsaw in search of a meister. Luzu and Wilbur are both meisters not in search of weapons. Luzu has his own shit going on with an AI taking over his body sometimes so he's mostly out of the picture. Wilbur was trained as a meister by his father but isn't all that interested in the job and just wants to play music. Besides, he has skinny little noodle arms and chainsaws are heavy and hard to wield.

Neither Tilín and Talluluh have ever received any formal meister training.

Philza and Missa

Phil is an old and skilled meister in need of a new weapon. Missa is a macuahuitl of pretty middling experience. He's certainly not incompetent and he and Phil are capable of working together well enough, but it's hard to get to know each other well enough to truly bond when Missa isn't around very often. Still, they probably have the most effective combat record out of any of the Federation assigned partnerships.

Chayanne is also a macuahuitl and the only weapon among the eggs. He is far more eager to learn the craft than either of his parents are for him to learn.

Slime and Mariana

Slime and Mariana are probably the Least effective duo in combat. They're both weapons, for one thing. Mariana is an extraordinarily powerful gauntlet and Slime is a 9mm glock. Mariana has at least a bare minimum of meister training, but neither of them are actually like. Any good at it. Or very good at being weapons for that matter. Or in tune with each others' wavelengths enough to wield each other. At least they're trying.

Juanaflippa could dual wield her papas on the rare occasions she could get them to both show up for her.

Roier and Jaiden

These two are another weapon4weapon pair but much stabler than Slime and Mariana. Jaiden is a scythe but she's always had an interest in learning how to be a meister. Roier has learned a trick or two from Spreen that he's willing to pass along and he's got enough experience as a weapon on his own to cover for her if she messes up. He's a backsword and he's learned how to wield himself and gotten pretty good at it, especially since Spreen betrayed him.

Bobby preferred his guns to wielding either of his parents and never got any formal meister training either.

DanTDM and Maximus

Maxo knows that he's a meister and that SOFIA isn't a weapon. That's all he can say for sure. He never knew Dan or Trump well enough to say.

BadBoyHalo

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whatever he knows, he won't give a straight answer about it. Everyone is pretty sure his counterpart is probably Skeppy.

Dapper has been seen to wield an array of different red and black or cyan colored weapons when Bad isn't around, but so far Bad has always had an alibi and there's no solid proof Skeppy even exists.

Foolish and Vegetta

A pair of outliers. Foolish is an ex-meister long since turned pacifist and Vegetta exclusively wields weapons that don't shapeshift into humans. He says it's because he has no time for weapon drama <- the most dramatic bitch on the island.

Leo is very skilled with many weapons, but again, not the kind that shapeshift into people.

The Brazilians

Mike and Pac

One of the strongest partnerships on the island, these two have been fighting together forever. Pac is Mike's egg, but also his trusty rifle. Mike is a decent sniper, but mostly Pac just gets waved in peoples' faces when Mike is mad about something. Pac can reload himself absurdly fast, but also will frequently just jam himself and refuse to fire if Mike is making decisions he doesn't agree with.

Cellbit Forever and Felps

Felps is the rare meister who will dual wield weapons who don't come paired already. He spent years with Cellbit, a main gauche dagger, and the pair of them got along fine. A lot of what he did was keep Cellbit's bloodlust in check, but it worked. Then they added Forever, a rapier, to their little trio and Cellbit found his comfortable place as a parrying dagger defending Felps with Forever on the offensive.

Richarlyson

A baby meister in training, Richas is learning the most from Felps since Mike has been keeping his distance since the bull incident. At least he was before Felps went missing.

The French

Kameto

Kameto is a self wielding guillotine perfectly capable of handling himself, so wherever he's gotten himself off to, he's probably fine.

Antoine and Baghera

Antoine and Baghera are easily the least experienced pair on the island, but they make up for that with their sharp intelligence and the fact that they have excellent mentors. Antoine is a poleaxe with Baghera as his meister.

Etoiles and Aypierre

Etoiles and Aypierre aren't the most experienced pair on the island, but they're close to the most experienced working with each other and definitely the most dangerous. They were mentoring Antoine and Baghera when the plane crashed. Etoiles is a bec de corbin so he has a lot of relevant experience for Antoine. He is also extremely independent and capable of wielding himself to the point where he sometimes gets mistaken for a shapeshifting weapon. Between that and Pierre using non-magic weapons like Vegetta, they both spend more time apart than together.

Pomme

Pomme is going to be a meister someday, but for now, Etoiles is just teaching her how to the individual weapons that make up him and Antoine since he can defend her better on her own than by trying to have her wield him.

if you want a more cohesive lore recap there's a series going on on youtube that's doing just that, and of course there's also the QSMP admins official lore recap on their youtube channel but that doesn't cover everything (there's so much)

to help you out a bit, we're not exactly sure if elquackity is a clone of q!quackity made by the federation or someone related to him or Something Else, but he's a different guy than q!quackity and replaced q!quackity throughout the entirety of the election arc. we have no idea why he's experimenting on children tho he's just got issues

after bobby's death jaiden started working with the cucurucho and in turn the federation to try and protect the remaining eggs so no other parents had to lose their child like she did. over time she's grown genuinely fond of cucurucho (both of them bc there's two now) and wants to protect them as well, believing that they're not to blame for what the federation does. so she got 'kidnapped' by the federation, but it was kind of a willing kidnapping where she got put up in a cushy apartment and cucurucho told jaiden she'd worked with them before, which she has no memory of.

charlie, uh, has a whole lot going on. currently he's being tricked by a code monster disguising itself as his dead daughter and she's probably going to have charlie start doing things to benefit the codes while he thinks it's a way to get juanaflippa back permanently

sorry if this is perhaps too negative but aah pepito's death has me so frustrated. it was so unnecessary, i still don't understand why they keep counting deaths caused by lag when some players have a clear advantage over others due to the location of the server and their internet connection. these deaths don't really add anything to the narrative, it's just something that could've been easily avoided. i think you're right, the egg lives system has become redundant. removing an egg because they lost all their lives could make for some good short-term angst, but in the long run it just drains the motivation out of players, and i think the team should prioritize enjoyment rather than some shock value angst that will just leave bitterness behind

How does Elq fit into Guapoduos dynamic when Pepito gets introduced?

Elq is...not having a good time the first time he meets Pepito just like canon Quackity. He knows that Cellbit is gone, most likely dead, he just got back from being tortured and he's being greeted by this...weirdly peppy egg.

Normally, Elq would be repulsed if not vaguely distressed if a very happy tried to speak to him. But this is not exactly a normal situation. Elq instantly comes to the conclusion that wherever he is (He's not sure if it's hell, or a weird version of heaven or still a torture chamber), they threw this egg in here with him, most likely to kill it in front of him.

So this spurs Elq to immediately be very protective of Pepito. Pepito is very excited to meet Elq cause he'd been told a lot about him by Roier (who thought that Elq was dead like Cellbit). It takes awhile for Pepito to convince him that 'Hey, you're not dead and this isn't a torture chamber designed to kill the both of us' and it involves a lot of random items to do this (Including but not limited to: A chain saw, a stack of wood, 3 strings, a iron axe.).

Elq still throws the birthday party for Pepito but partly because he's having a mental breakdown and he needs to focus on an action or person before he starts crying (Luckily, throwing a birthday party allows you to focus on an action AND person!).

Once El isn't having a mental breakdown and is subtly convinced that he's alive and not in a torture chamber, he goes to find Roier. They have a 'tearful' (Both of them almost cry then deny that they did) reunion as both were convinced that the other was dead. Once they're done being emotional and pretending they weren't emotional, Elq is very...jarred by Roier's treatment of Pepito. It confuses him greatly. Roier was kind, in Elq's memory, the kindest between the three of them back when there WERE three of them. And now he's so...harsh. It makes sense but Elq kinda has to mentally say a loud 'FUCK' when he realizes that he'll have to be the nicer parent in the relationship if he didn't want to give the kid daddy issues like Spreen did to Ramon.

He doesn't call Roier on his treatment of Pepito since he thinks that it's probably fine to treat a kid like that (See; Elq's weird idea of how to treat children) and as long as it doesn't become actual ab-se, Elq is fine with it. He's a bit...gentler with Pepito which everyone can see is a constant and painful thing for him.

Nothing huge by other peoples standards, but he'll always put Pepito on his shoulders instead of letting him walk, he'll make sure Pepito always has armor even if it means Elq is literally giving him the armor off his back, and he'll talk.

He'll talk about Cellbit, what kind of person he was is, how he likeds puzzles, and how he'd love Pepito. He'll talk about Roier, how the island changed him overtime into the man that Pepito knows. He'll talk about Bobby like he's Pepito's brother, how he would've been aghast at the idea of having two brothers.

It has been awhile since Elq has had to be kind but he fears what will happen if he isn't.

hi shal !!! so I was thinking about ouroboros (daily occurrence) and realized that the snake/chicken symbolism for jack destroying his soul could also double as symbolism for his choice to kill Michael. for starters, Cas says the story is meant to be a cautionary tale about greed, before leading into their conversation about dealing with loss; Jack pointedly says he hates to think about losing Sam and Dean, and that having to cope with their eventual loss sounds awful to him. and then it segues into him making the extremely impulsive and dangerous decision to destroy his soul and save them, despite being constantly told of the consequences and risks posed by his soul depleting.

within the episode, the chicken/snake symbolism is framed as — “Is Jack the chicken hard boiling her own egg to save the other ones, or is he the snake eating an egg out of his own nature and hunger and choking on it?” — but I think it can also be interpreted as “Is Jack killing Michael because he wants to save his family, or is he killing Michael because it’s a natural compulsion to kill,” (especially considering that Jack hates Michael with a soul-burning passion).

Conversations about Loss

I love that conversation between Cas and Jack. When Jack spirals, the 🎶musical track even goes off-key,🎶and it's very unsettling indeed. Jack is tortured by the thought of losing his family. ->"What's the point of being a cosmic being if everyone I care about is just gonna leave?"

Aside// Another interesting facet of that conversation is that, although Cas is gently preparing Jack for the inevitability of loss, he won't even allow himself to go there about Dean, not really. -> "So when Dean wakes up -- and he will wake up -- we just have to remember to appreciate the time that we all have together now."

Nature vs Nurture

To your larger point, I think what you're asking is if I think the chicken/egg/snake analogy can be applied to a cosmic thread of Nature Vs Nurture, right?

I think yes.

This is a thread that was introduced with Jack in his very first episodes, with Donatello (13x02):

DONATELLO: Ah. The nature versus nurture conundrum. DONATELLO pats DEAN and SAM’s shoulders.] Oh. Speaking not as a prophet but as a scientist, I don’t think teaching him is in the cards. It’s like asking a lion not to be a lion.

Again, in Meredith's scripted version of the human-angelic divide in Good Intentions (13x14 script only):

AU ZACHARIAH: Jack is the key to the other side. It's just-- humans, have such a primitive response to fear. Maybe he takes after his lesser side--

The hard thing, the ugly thing

I'll add to this later, but I'm specifically thinking about how Cas moves to "do the ugly brutal things, so Sam and Dean don't have to." He consistently positions himself as the one who is more willing to do the necessary evils that even they cannot stomach.

Jack is a step above that, but he too moves to shield. He leans into doing the hard thing, but at the expense of his own self and family life. It's a metaphor for war, and how that sunders you from a life of love and comfort.

We get this echoed at lower levels, too, how Sam and Dean do the "hard thing, the ugly thing," so human civilians don't have to. (I believe it's a quote from Atomic Monsters in season 15, but I don't have that on hand).

They're each on their own level of war within the cosmic hierarchy. (Ordinary life -> Hunting life -> Men of Letters life -> angelic war -> archangels & gods)

The nature of the Ouroboros

I think all of these conversations can be applied to the nurture versus nature dilemma, as well as the chicken/egg/snake one.

Jack is characterized by a dualistic nature: he's both predator and prey, angel and human, heavenly and primitive, lion-coded and nurturing. I think he absolutely struggles with simultaneous bloodlust and the need to protect.

The war within leads to this tendency to self-annihilate, I think. He's not just the chicken or just the snake; he's like the ouroboros itself, eating its own tail in perpetuity as a doomed immortal, dying and coming back to life, like a zombie.

I'm reminded, too, that Jack's quintessential fetal episode (12x19) is filled with circle motifs, like Cas using his hand to complete Dean's circle. But Jack is intrinsically a complete circle without any aid from others; he's Heaven and Earth.

I'll ponder on it over the next few days and get back to you, but above are the motifs that come to mind when trying to stitch these two concepts together!

Is the story of the chicken and the snake really about greed, or is it more to do with the specific type of hunger? That is, it could be about the hunger needed to stay alive and keep your loved ones alive, and so it leads to a kind of warped altruism.

Greed is defined as the immoderate love or desire for riches and earthly possessions. A person can also be greedy for fame, attention, power, or anything else that feeds one's selfishness. As a deadly sin, greed is believed to spur other sins and further immoral behavior.

We recall the words Cas has about famine from 5x14:

SAM: I thought famine meant starvation, like as in, you know, food. CASTIEL: Yes. Absolutely. But not just food. I mean, everyone seems to be starving for something--Sex, attention, drugs, love... DEAN: Well, that explains the puppy-lovers that Cupid shot up. CASTIEL: Right. The cherub made them crave love, and then Famine came, and made them rabid for it.

Okay! Ramón hours (and that's the one time this infodump you're getting the accent as UK keyboard and I have to number-code it every time)

As per standard for egg backstories, contact warnings for child abuse. As less standard, this one has major (but qsmp-canonical) character death too

So, Ramon. Ramon comes in a set with Dapper and Leonarda, because do not seperate the eggy triplets. Of all of the eggs, these three are the only ones who have not been found to be defective, or for other reasons discarded or repurposed by the aliens. As such, they continue living in the main alien base. As high-quality bodies, the three of them are being slowly raised and trained - A1 as an example is low-quality and so speed grown, but this leads to some problems such as improper muscle mass distribution and neurological stuff not quite forming in the right shape.

So, um, quick side note incase you didn't catch this bit in my prior rambles - eggs in this setting are lab-developed human-alien(-sometimes also animal) hybrids, specifically 'grown' so they can be possessed by one of the senior members of the big bad alien race in control of the whole thing. These aliens have an incurable muscle wastage plague which is killing them, but a lot of brain-based magic, so are building themselves custom bodies with immunity to the plague that they can take for their own. High quality ones are custom made to a specific senior alien's requests, then allowed to just develop from babies to adults, at which point the alien then possesses them, consuming the soul native to the body and thus murdering the egg in the process. The success rate is pretty low as they have very high standards, but yk.

So! Back to the point.

Ramon, Dapper, and Leo are entirely unaware of their intended purpose. They live in... well, the nature of the base I do a bit want to keep secret, but they live there and are being raised mostly by human test subjects from previous experiments. The aliens don't have time for that, and because humans are both immune to the plague *and* the potential for brain magic, form the majority of egg DNA.

But these adults do grow old and die, as its been a long time since the aliens brought more back - at which point its alien babysitters which the three absolutely run circles around.

It's not happy childhood exactly, but think Promised Neverland style children being unaware they are being raised for the slaughter sort of thing. Hobbies and interests and learning are encouraged, as is sports and such, because it makes their bodies higher quality for the later possession! And so on.

This, however, all changes when the aliens capture a very specific human.

A bear-hybrid by the name of Spreen.

With the base being to the alien's knowledge... well someone has escaped before, but they tightened security since! So it's inescapable *now*. So the aliens just come and get Spreen when he's needed for torture or experiments, but otherwise Spreen is now responsible for the kids.

Spreen, kidnapped and tortured... Look, it's not a good situation, you know? He does not cope well with any of this, and it's usually the kids on the short end of the stick. He tries to be a reasonable adult about it all but, again, kidnapped and tortured and xcom!q!spreen has never been the best at keeping his frustrations in check. As Roier can tell you. He maybe could have been a fine parent on his own terms, but absolutely not on these ones.

And that.. it's not fine, but it's fine.

And then Chayanne and Bobby get rescued.

Now Chayanne and Bobby are in no way part of this group, but their rescue from their situation sparks *ideas* in the heads of the aliens. They notice how those two have psychically bonded to some of the main characters and... well... the aliens are *curious*.

And curious aliens means experimentation.

And the specific experiment?

Spreen and Ramon are forcibly soul-bonded to each other.

Now. A soul bond can be great. Telepathy, emotional awareness, in an eggs' case easier feeding for psychic powers development... But a forced soul bond? A soul bond naturally develops through being compatible plus shared traumatic and stressful experience over a prolongued time, or an egg can form one willingly, or instinctively if sufficiently injured or starved. (human-to-human and human-to-egg both work slightly differently)

So how do they force Spreen and Ramon to bond? Well the aliens aren't sure how it works, so prolongued physical and mental torture for both of them. Also forcing Ramon to call Spreen papa, because they caught wind of Bobby calling Roier that and think maybe it could be a part of it.

And it works.

But please consider that Spreen was really struggling already. And now he has an about 10 year old inside his head, constantly. Neither Ramon nor Spreen know how to keep emotions or memories or thoughts away from each other, but neither do they know how to share them. The two get forcibly mentally entangled, and can pick themselves from the mess but cannot keep themself to themself.

So now Ramon is different from his triplets. They try help, but also... what can they even do?

And being linked? Ramon can hear every frustration in Spreen's mind, every time he steps out because the kids annoyed him and he needs to go break something and calm down. Every secret Spreen has ever had, the ways he regrets what he did to Roier, the way he misses Missa, the horrors that were done to the Quackities...

... Just how much despite it Spreen does actually care, despite everything, and the fact Ramon is his favourite of the three.

It fucks Ramon up. It fucks Spreen up. The natural bonds are much better shielded from accidental memory and thought spillage, but there's basically no gap for Spreen and Ramon. For a kid? Utterly horrifying.

Now Ramon has some experience - the eggs all have some level of psychic connection to each other - but the thing with Spreen? Nothing like what he has with his siblings.

And the experiments carry on, testing the nature and limits of the soulbond.

Meanwhile, Dapper and Leo are sneaking around, the aliens distracted by their experiments. In their sneaking... They discover their true purpose.

And they do not want to die.

And they do not want their brother to die.

They... sort of know how to leave, but only sort of.

So one night, Dapper goes to Ramon's cell while Leo gathers supplies, getting him up. So the three of them can run away because gdi they're still triplets and besties both.

But waking Ramon wakes Spreen.

Though to be fair, Spreen is 200000% down for getting the fuck out of here, and is very willing to do things like grab things too high for them, use being all black fur to help them hide in the dark, etc.

They make it to the portal room.

Ramon gets out his tech goggles and starts trying to override the portal controls, so they can escape.

He nearly gets it.

The guards discover them missing, and find them. Start a gunfight. Which... is mostly the four cowering from bullets until the portal turns on.

Ramon activates it.

Guard shoots at the kids as they run.

Spreen jumps in the way, and is fatally shot.

Ramon knows the exact moment that he dies, because their souls are fused, and so bits of himself are being either torn off or dying beside him. It's... Ramon can do *nothing* but scream.

Leo manages to grab him and pull him through the portal, and Dapper manages to close it - at least for now - on the other side.

It is, thankfully, a long way from where they were - the strength of soulbonds lessens with physical distance. While this can be extremely difficult and traumatising for people... Ramon's bond was already traumatic, and the distance is enough to pull his soul just far enough from Spreen's that he doesn't actually die. Just. You know. Horrible trauma from experiencing death itself. Plus *everything*.

The triplets just... Ramon is still really sick and needs recovery time from this, so they hide themselves as best they can.

And stay hidden until some humans come by - one of whom, Fit, is very very familiar... not to Ramon precisely, but to Spreen's memories that Ramon accidentally saw...

(Side note - Ramon will not call anyone dad or papa or similar for a good long time, because of being forced to use it for Spreen. He also clings extremely hard to Fit, not just for familiarity but also because the wasteland nature of where Fit grew up means Fit's personal psychic field is *so* fucked up its literally impossible to telepathy with him. So, Ramon can get just enough of the bond to keep feeding psionic energy and not stop growing and developing because of a lack of it, without risking ever having the brain sharing thing.)

Then calling Fit dad. Then extremely nervously also soulbonding with Pac, one where the telepathy thing is plausible [though Pac is very practiced having both Mike and Richas in his head already]. Partly so he doesn't only feed from Fit. Feeding from one person psionically won't harm anyone and works, but if anything happens... The writing being seen by Charlie as 'it's okay, I didn't teach you to spell', not realizing it's plaid oak signs Juanaflippa is using and not the usual colored ones. The crack being excused as 'you've been through a lot'

Some part of me debated making the code monsters more sympathetic and I might kind of imply it later (you'll see what I mean) but they're definitely not the good guys lol. I felt like Mariana hasn't gotten enough love from me specifically so I hope this chapter helped. I might try writing more from his perspective if I see the need for it too :) in the meantime, I'm very happy you're enjoying it !!
