Something fun is that like what if loop literally just has siffrin's voice but sif couldn't tell bc of the whole "you sound way different than how you hear yourself when you talk" thing. (Definitely not true but could make the party not recognizing them sadder)

Please, please, please recognize that using incorrect pronouns is a common error made by English language learners—even for those who have achieved near fluency. It is not automatically intentional or malicious if someone uses an incorrectly gendered pronoun when talking about a character.

#like i understand the knee-jerk reaction i guess #but also we need to recognize that language is complex and difficult #and people taking the time to learn and interact with a language that may be their second third fourth etc #should not be attacked or assumed malicious for making a simple (common!) mistake in the language they're learning #not to mention the fact that we should not assume that every person we interact with on the internet is perfectly fluent in english #i'm so tired y'all #would be great if we could stop attacking other types of diversity in order to protect our own without thoughy #*thought #anyway #i know people likely just aren't thinking when they make these accusations but that's not okay #and we need to stop defaulting to our first reactions that ignore any kind of diversity other than the types we interact with on the daily #i feel like this is a major reason fandom feels so unwelcoming for many people and we need to be better

I think it’s a little silly that messy people are seen as 100% the problem and no fault is given to the people who unrealistically expect things to be 100% clean or bare 100% of the time. And the worst part is when they clean up after you before you can do it, and then try to guilt you about the fact that they did it. Like you CHOSE to pick up before you even gave me the opportunity to meet your astronomically high standards of what a house should look like.

#like I’m not saying that messy people don’t have to actually clean or pick things up but we have a different baseline of what clean is #and it’s not fair that the most neat freak person in the household gets to decide what the baseline is #my friend agreed with me when I mentioned this the other day so that I’d post #*thought

I can now do piracy on the TV and actually properly enjoy the films :3

#father got me an hdmi connector for the tablet so now I can share the screen with the tv #and don't have to worry about getting a virus on my laptop because of some shady website or link #had a malware virus once and that was so annoying I never want to deal with that again #my father had to wipe the whole thing after it became clear that that was the only option to deal with that it was such an act #and my laptop is too important for me to risk that #so I always do piracy stuff on the tablet because the chances of catching something there are less high #speaking of #the girl in math class next to me has tonsillitis and she still came to school and didn't even wear a mask because she though #*thought #“well we're barely doing anything anyways so I might as well go'' Girl thats the reasoning you give to not come #at leasf weat a bloody mask those things are infectious I don't want to deal with your viruses #is that the plural? viruses?#anyways I can watch movies proper now isn't that nice :D #i wanted to test it and got distracted and now I'm in a bit of a dilemma because I want to keep watching but it's the afternoon and that's #not the right time to watch movies #thats an evening way to pass the time
