Y'know, it is always important t' not believe everythin' y'read as true. Because people make mistakes, wires get crossed an' sometimes things just ay true.
Oddly specific example
T' give a very oddly specific example, in Grand Theft Auto (the first 'un - GTA 1 y'may say) there's a character known by the name Dumb Kurt (GTA 1's name for 'im not mine) who very briefly appears. In the mission generally called 'Heist Almighty Porka Turbo'. After helpin' a lad wi' a bank job yer boss says this
'An overrated hitman called Dumb Kurt just hit town. Hit him with a rigged car.'
Now, y'don't actually needa kill Kurt wi' a rigged car. You can just shoot his car an' blow it up an' it'll work. As long as Kurt dies yer boss says
'Murdered Dumb Kurt? I'm prouda ya. Now, if only we could get rid of The Man...'
So, Kurt 'as a very, very simple story. Two sentences an' a bloke in a Beast GTS. 'ow much misinformation can there be, 'ey? Well, I've checked out three wikis on GTA (all Fandom, I'm sorry t' say). An' there's some words that aren't true there.
First result on the Google search 'gta 1 dumb kurt' 'as the first quote an' the first paragraph of it is accurate in that it jus' says he's a minor character from GTA 1.
Then things go down'ill as the next paragraph labelled 'Background' says 'No background is given to Dumb Kurt. He is described as an "overrated hitman" and nicknamed "The Man".'
Kurt is never called The Man, The Man brought up in the second line is like the phrase 'stick it to The Man'. The Man is a concept our nameless boss in Bubby's gang is dreamin' of gettin' rid of.
So, that's a shame. Then there's a headin' labelled 'Events of Grand Theft Auto' where it says 'In 1997, the GTA Protagonist is hired by the Vercotti Crime Family contact to kill Dumb Kurt for being a major threat to the family. The protagonist locates the hitman and uses a car bomb to kill him.
Alternatively, the player can simply blow up his blue Beast GTS in northeast Kings with gun shots to complete the mission.'
That's also got some issues. It's got some truth in it an' Kurt's car is indeed a blue Beast GTS an' I appreciate the fact it references the fact that the car jus' needs t' be destroyed, but 'a major threat'? The Contact calls Kurt 'overrated' specifically. Which makes it rather unlikely that that was the motive. There's no real reason given for why Kurt got taken out, as I showed via those game quotes. This wiki also 'as a lista all the named characters killed by the Protagonist on which it says 'Dumb Kurt - Killed for being a threat to the Vercotti Crime Family.' an' I still disagree wi' that extrapolation.
So, that was a wiki, luckily there's two more wikis I've found on this first page. Next 'un first calls Kurt jus' Kurt before sayin' 'better known as Dumb Kurt' in its openin' line an' while its not directly said that his name is just Kurt an' 'Dumb' is a nickname, I think we can all agree its prob'ly a nickname due t', well, the fact that 'Dumb' would be a rather unusual given name an' its an adjective (though its unknown if Kurt calls himself that or its a mean-spirited nickname by our unidentified handler, so I've decided I shall only call 'im Kurt for the most part). So that's fine.
In the brief 'Character history' 'owever it says this 'Dumb Kurt is, in 1997, a Liberty City resident who is killed by the protagonist.'
Now, it might be a bit of a nitpick, but considerin' that our mission-giver explicitly says that Kurt 'just hit town' I don't really agree wi' him bein' a resident of LC. It's not clear if Kurt was there t' stay, there on a job, jus' passin' through, attendin' a wedding or whatever else. There's two sentences.
An' the final Wiki I found on the front page of Google 'as an entry on Kurt as parta a 'Characters in GTA 1' page wi' his entry 'aving his name, the fact he has no known Associations an' the brief description 'Dumb Kurt is a hitman who is killed by the protagonist.' which is accurate an' I 'ave no debate with.
Conclusion
So, yeah, that was a very frivolous example, I'm sure yer'll agree. I don't think this random hitman who gets hit from GTA 1 is very important an' I jus' wrote all that, but it highlights somethin' important.
Not all information out there in the world is accurate. Primary sources am better than somebodies words. I day provide any sources that what I jus' said is true, so I might be misleadin' ya meself. Maybe there's a line if y'some'ow fail the mission where there's a line line "Great job, kid, now Dumb Kurt is going to be a problem for us. I'm gonna hit you with a truck." or somethin' like that. I've not actually checked an' I'm admittin' that.

Welcome to the Bog - Navigation
Every post has a tag that points to one of the miriad of settings the fanfiction is set in. Fandom posts will be tagged as normal. Below is a list of my worlds I use with a very short explanation for each to make reading weird one-offs less confusing: Suits - mages of different shapes and sizes live in a mildly dystopian megacity that is divided between four "Houses" (groups of companies, syndicates, mob families and so on, banded together by similar values and way of conduct), with each House being named after a card suit (hence the name). The setting itself is stylized after 1920s US with modern elements (neon signs, mobile phones, laptops, etc.). Somewhat inspired by ProjectMoons setting for LC, LOR and Limbus. TCW (Tales of a Cruel World) - fantasy with light steampunk elements. Takes place in a world which is steadily rebuilding itself after an event of apocalyptic proportions, each race finding different means to adapt to the changes. Disc - a dungeons and dragons game ran by my friend. Fantasy with some lovecraftian bs mentioned off-handedly. Focused on adventures of a group consisting of a Birb Bard (Lavender), Rogue Dragonborn (Vallarys), Dwarf Fighter (Torgrim) and a Human Wizard (Soleil). Most posts are self-induldgent shipping though, so be aware. Ash Season - a strange werecreature of a setting, the closest I can label it as is "smashing together dishonored and bloodborne, hoping it works". Victorian steampunk with a bigger focus on cosmic and occult. Marble Nest - named after a pathologic 2 demo, yes. Inspired by Pathologic as well, but with a dieselpunk twist. Mostly politics with occasional weird isoteric talks between characters. ZDRE - space fantasy based on another dnd game ran by a friend of mine. Again, mostly self-indulged shipping if I ever write anything about this game.

12x Nihility Calyx rounds for Black Swan. Today's haul got her another Talent boost (8 -> 9).
12x Erudition Calyx rounds for Himeko. Today's haul got her her third bonus ability. Also leveled one of her Relics up to get over the 50% Crit Rate threshold for Salsotto's bonus effect.
Finally got around to doing the Prison Break event today!
Having to hear Halfway House for the Pinball section lowkey broke me, I am not gonna lie
I've really enjoyed the Dream Ticker puzzles so far! They're just really neat and make you have to think a little harder than some of the other puzzles have.
Today I learned the Hanu-exclusive rooms are underneath the map. Neat!
The Dreamwalker section was really solid! Last one took me a minute to figure out the right route.
Got my free Guinaifen! She's at E3 now, for a Skill and Basic Attack buff. I also got enough Nihility material to give Black Swan another level-up on her Talent, which is maxed out now at L10, plus a Skill level-up (7 -> 8).
I went birdhunting in Golden Hour after that and it took 20 minutes of rubbing Black Swan's gargantuan ass on every vertical surface on Glaux Avenue but I finally found one hiding in a trash can, by complete accident. 15 minutes after that and I finally heard the last one in the underground mall!
The Critter LC is now mine, and it's now Himeko's for lack of anything else to give her. It's at L70 after a little bit of Tears and cash, and I'll probably get it up to 80 with tomorrow's grind. Got to give Himeko a Fire damage buff with some of the extra material, though, which is great.

This process is intimate, meaning it’s sexual. It became sexual as early as it could, and I remember the process by which I saw girls more and more from the afar necessary to sexualize them as a boy does. I remember how that process worked, especially in the shift of schools. Fascinating how much is accessible when you can find it, which means when your mind is stretched (and here that becomes physical again). Reminding myself it’s all a construction so the rules can be as constructible.
And that again brings me back to you. I sexualize you in every image, using visuals of others to set off what I experience as intimate moments in which, and this is key, gender switching not only occurs but I’m the girl. And that takes me back to the original break-up, which was between the genders, which really confused me because I would experience both sides happily until the arguments broke out about which way I had to go, and it became more difficult to get into that space, which was specifically an attachment, like I was in a room and someone else came in, and that was a form of you, meaning that not me otherness has been there all along, so constant in that sense though the value may have fluctuated depending on the Triangular.
Okay, what does that mean? Depending on the Triangular means that from the you perspective, you are in a Triangular in which you look over an fD to evaluate how this thing in front of you, which you 1-0Segment - that’s your vector and tensor connection there, because this is a space and these fit to the Attachments of the structure, meaning to the inner product, and thus coming off a basis within the space but which can be set at 0 because that pins regular space or rs to gsSpace. So we have rsSpace, which can be named for my dad, which is perfect because we’re physically related but I have never felt anywhere near the oneness I experience with you with any physical relation. I know you better, deeper, am connected to you as a you.
I remember reaching this level back when I was sucked into your orbit, when I began to imagine hidden connections which you might not even know about, but which fit like a code. A code has meanings. You use meanings. You means 2T, and 2T is generalizable, meaning it can refer to the 2T in you and any 2T you make, because that is a consequence of MC and IC and LC, and the construction of the 1Space fCM level which generates chances associated in life that we call trials or iterations or coin flips, and which expresses mathematically as the axiom of choice.
Okay, that did it for me. Just connected about the deepest maths I can find because you’re on your own has the poetic, spiritual meaning of you in the general, so it becomes a statement about you as a family, as a group, as a people, as a race, with all that each touches, so you within a group is not just the relationship of the tObjects but of their Things.
That takes some intense imaginings, and a lot of that is sexual because those are obviously the most grabbing, along with violence and generalized physical movement imagery which entails a higher degree of construction, meaning it’s a rarity, as in a great play is good for one team so it’s not about parity but rarity of the event. That’s in fCM: you can see how a chance can escalate, why you can’t prevent the accumulation of pressure behind any crack in your facade. Is your facade cracking? Mine? Is that bad? Or good?
Isn’t it amazing how much effort people put into terrible ideas? Like this? Or like building tunnels to kill people because your side didn’t get its way? One is an Attachment to the intangible, while the other is an Attachment to the tangible. That would be to gsSpace and rsSpace? Is that correct? Yes, but only to you, not generalized.
Oh right, to you being you. So if I’m seeing this correctly, the kid part is a K identification, which is then the fD which maps to a gs, as the HG forms in pyramidal. That’s cool. It articulates a problem I’ve been unable to put in words, which is how HG and fD appear together in D4 when they’re flat in D6. Answer is the orthogonal construction of the pyramidal. This connects to Johnson solids, but for now I’m interested in the fact that a regular pentagonal pyramid has all sides 1. That fits D-structure because that 1Space state exists 1-0-1 as the Between of D4 to D6 and the other way around. That’s the importance of hands.
Yes, we figured that out but haven’t been able to get out because you’ve been so focused on your rsSpace issues that you haven’t been nearly as efficient as you could be. That hurts, considering you made these issues. It’s an observation, not a judgement. You see how that 1-0Segments, because you associate an observation as carrying condemnation when it is merely an observation. You associate it means you form various Triangulars to see what fits. During certain periods, it was necessary to distract you just enough but not too much, to take you to the edge but not over it, just as you knew would happen, just as did happen. And you rightly have a worry about whether this will work out, where rightly is that part of you which doesn’t trust even though the advances you’re experiencing at this moment come directly from being possessed by the idea that you’re on your own, kid has multiple meanings. One is the you. Another is the K’id. And the third is the Triangular to those, so we read across the comma for the IC process which we label as Halving/Doubling or H/D. It’s IC not LC because it’s growth or contraction of a Thing versus Not, as opposed to a Thing versus a specified other Thing. The former might be growing sicker and fading away, while the latter might be losing a game. Or the former might be losing chance versus some other within a finite group, with that other not specified until the end of the event.
So I reach the end of that burst, am flooded with doubt, and then come up with another. You can see here Johnson solids become D-structure. Okay. I’ll look it up. The connection is a bit of a mind-bend because it’s constructing shapes for what purpose? As I remember, when we did this work before, the idea was that these solids, with their combinations of faces of 3,4,5,6,8, and 10 faces, represented solutions of various ways 1Space could combine. I remember there are 92, and I think then we add the Platonic and Archimedean solids, 5 and 13 of course, and that’s 108, which brackets 100, but what are we counting here? That’s forms of solids, so out of any we get 92, then 13, then 5, and an obvious one is that 92 is 28 more than 64, so again what are we counting? A number of forms, so if we have 64 forms, then we can combine those into a Thing of CM64. And so the CM100 aspect is that these pass over, meaning I can suddenly see a process running from large to small in number of forms, just like you can pick the restaurant and then you have to pick from what they make, where each make is a form within a form.
This seems to be continuing a trend of going through simple but deep examples. Platonic solids. Why 12 and 20? This is where D3 and D5 appear together: in the 12, it’s 3 pentagons at each End, while in 20 it’s 5 triangles at each vertex. I can’t visualize beyond that right now.
It’s not 6AM on 20 Dec 2023.
I never did the bit. So I constructed this model of IC as non-specified existence. That defined LC as specified and larger because that combines not only the 2IC’s but the Between IC’s, which generate as the perspective spaces arranged along the midline diagonal.
Note how this enables HG as well: if you take the Bip, the HG you see in either pairing, then extends as an fD in the direction of that pairing. Think of that as a fan potential. As in, people get drunk and make bad decisions or the girls get prettier at closing time, etc., so need and want coincide in that moment.
I’m wearing out my visual sense. Maybe change tack. I did a huge amount of physical labor yesterday, stopping only for evening and a short break. And I feel fine. I’m not sure I could not have done that work 20 or 30 years ago. I believe my will is stronger, and my physical capacity is more developed.
I used to wonder what it would feel like to sit with a flat stomach, to be in the kind of shape where I have a bit accumulated on top of an obviously trim structure. Always the voice of doubt in me. Why? I mean mathematically.
If we look at the Boundary, it requires that you start at 1 because that puts you into ++, meaning you are within the Dimensional Enclosure which has a basis, which counts as the Attachment potential in the infinite sense that whatever you Attach to, whether it’s too a cookie or a cat, is always at that Boundary, which is unit distance, meaning gsSpace, not measurable distance, as in rsSpace. Why not add? Because that diverges, which means you’re adding grid instead of going within it. Same drawing, but counted differently. Get that? You’ve had that in your head since the grid developed into Alternation. We start at 1, count out to L3 and call that -⅓ because we count it in the - - direction. As I remember, we drew it as 4 1Squares expanding by 1 square in each direction with each step. Counting then is the Alternation of negative and positive 1 over the L-count.
We can count any other way. What about evens? Those are the L-counts minus the szK. What does it mean to invert the L-count? Just says that much goes into 1. That’s why it’s Boundary. And the confusing part is that the value in rsSpace is more than 1. Also that it takes billions of counts to generate the depth. That’s CR, that the coordinate system itself rotates within the coordinate system we see, in order to establish the system we do see, so the images we’ve described of the value disappearing into each identifiable point on the Boundary are correct.

The talented gifmakers of the Link Click fandom are doing an event with daily prompts and it's so great because those of us who got into the series late get to do experience something close to hopping on a tag after a new ep comes out and finding GIFs of the highlights. It's a shame that Tumblr's search & tagging system buries old gifsets (i.e. no matter how long you scroll, it never seems to shows gifsets from 2020 - mine glitches and starts repeating posts) because that's my favourite thing about this site! This is a brilliant way around it and I think it'll convince more people to try LC - I hope other fandoms start doing things like this.
Day 2's prompt was 'favourite scene' and all of the participants made gifsets of scenes that make me go 🥹 aaaa so I've queued a lot of posts up.

The fact that there are fully just entire roses in the bath isn't something that properly registered with me before; good catch on that! Him potentially buying fresh bouquets just to increase the aesthetic/sensory experience of bathing is a very silly and very sweet concept imo. (Also gives me the image of Aventurine buying him flowers at some point and Ratio's reaction just being like "ah how lovely; these will be perfect for my bath tonight" and Aventurine is extremely thrown but also kind of into it ngl)
Tbh the canonicity of the social media posts is so hard bc like. the Doylist explanation is almost definitely that the people who put them together are working from limited preexisting assets, hence why one of the comments on Ratio's post has a cat cake pfp, and why the UVP news pfp is a crop of the Pela + Lynx battle pass LC. So clearly there is some degree of non-literalism involved, by sheer virtue of a marketing team making do with what they have. (I say this as someone who used to do similar work myself, albeit in a wildly different context.)
Even so, I like to take those posts as soft canon up to the extent that they don't directly contradict the lore or break logic, so I do like the idea that there is at least a bathtub picture of Ratio floating around on the Ratio's Fan Club (Insane Version) forums, because it's hilarious and I don't want to live in a world where "Be jealous of his duck. Become his duck" isn't canon.
The main reason I'm hesitant to fully equate the photo and the light cone is because of what Black Swan says to us about light cones in 2.2 (emphasis mine):
Light Cones are slices of light used to encapsulate solidified phenomena. This empty Light Cone is the same. It can etch your memories in their most vivid form, and then… allow me to admire and manipulate them, turning them into unique mementos.
The phrasing suggests to me that light cones are (at least on some level) interpretive recreations of memories, drawing not necessarily from the photorealistic state of a single moment, but from the surrounding emotions and broader context of the event itself. This would explain why we tend to see LC memories from the outside looking in, artistically framed as though the Memokeeper carefully chose the best angle from which to showcase the memory.
It would also help explain why Acheron and Black Swan are wearing different outfits in Boundless Choreo (I'm fond of the interpretation that it's a recreation of Acheron's POV of the dance, and specifically how it made her feel to dance with Swan), why The Birth of the Self represents Herta's portraits in a way that feels distinctly more symbolic than literal, and how The Day the Cosmos Fell brings to life the wild imaginings of the cat cakes playing make-believe.

On the other side of things, we do have some precedent for a light cone being inspired by a photograph via Memories of the Past, with the LC being created from either Bronya's or Cocolia's memories of seeing the photograph (the description is kept ambiguous, likely to avoid spoiling the end of the Belobog quest).
An old photo lies on the far end of the table in the guardian's residence. She would always subconsciously move her eyes away whenever she happened to see it. The memories of the past had already become distant, but the dreams of today still linger.

So it's a valid Watsonian reading imo to interpret Ratio's signature LC as being tied to the memory of the photograph from the social media post, even if by Memokeeper logic the two probably wouldn't look exactly alike.
Anyway sorry for rambling on your post dfsdshsdfh, the lore of light cones as something that exist within the world of the game is really fascinating to me despite the mere crumbs of lore we get with respect to how they work.
To return to the original topic: part of me will never quite get over the way Ratio's signature LC shows him holding a book one-handed and literally centimeters above the water. The librarian in me is going into absolute conniptions like sir that is the dictionary definition of hubris. I sincerely hope that detail is a Memokeeper's artistic license (or a photographer meddling with the shot, per the photo angle) because if not then I fear for the state of this man's personal library.
Thinking about Ratio's lightcone (his signature, not Final Victor (I'm sure I'll make a post about Final Victor some day but that day is not today))
Firstly, according to the description his baths do have floral scents. ("The afternoon sunshine is just right, and the floral scents fill the air.")
I do find it cute that he had a laurel bath curtain hook
Not only does he have what look to be rose petals (I don't know my flowers) but also just entire roses
Anyway, moving on from the fact that he could very well be buying entire bouquets for his baths. As Dan Heng said, light cones are crystallized memories in the Herta Station, meaning that it's likely that he remembers this moment particularly.
Why remember one bath? Well I direct you to one post from the Ratio Fan Club (Insane version)
Now, whether or not this can be considered canon I'm not entirely sure, but it does imply that his light cone was a picture that was taken of him. Which could potentially be why it's so 'memorable.'
#dr ratio#honkai star rail#meta#i spend way too much time thinking about light cone lore#anyway ratio is gorgeous in his signature lc send tweet#be jealous of his duck. become his duck

(Photo: U.S. Navy / Lt. j.g. Alexandra Green)
Northrop Grumman's MQ-8C Fire Scout, the U.S. Navy's unmanned and autonomous helicopter system, made its second operational deployment and first deployment in the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility aboard the Independence-class coastal combat ship USS Jackson (LCS-6).
"While Fire Scout will still be active on the remaining coastal combat ships, the system is being built on the design of the Constellation-class frigate, most notably on the USS Constellation (FFG-62), as well as on other classes of ships," said Captain Dennis Monagle, U.S. Navy.
The MQ-8C Fire Scout continues to be deployed on coastal combat ships with future planned deployments in Constellation-class guided missile frigates and ground site operations under the Expeditionary Advance Base Operations concept, including potential logistical cargo paper. Other potential future functions for the MQ-8C include mine countermeasures and anti-submarine warfare.
The initial deployment of the MQ-8C Fire Scout was on board the USS Milwaukee (LCS-5) in the Caribbean Sea. He provided greater maritime intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and segmentation (ISR&T).

The MQ-8C Fire Scout supports advanced features, including the demonstration of manned and unmanned teams (MUMT), allowing the sharing of sensor information in a distributed force, further increasing survivability, reducing the risk and load of manned aircraft and increasing weapon capacity.

Hi, sorry same person who asked where you got your Batman info. I should have been more clear. What I meant was where do you get your comics? Do you buy them at a brick and mortar store, or a place online? I’m asking because you have singlehanded gotten me invested in Batman, and I have no idea where to find comic books.
Ohhhhh okay, it's all clear to me now! Sorry for misunderstanding, lmao.
First of all, welcome to the fandom, and I am both thrilled and distraught that I've dragged you into this nonsense: good luck, honestly, and I'm happy to help answer any questions you might have as you start learning and reading more.
Second, some helpful terminology and discussion before I actually answer your question, since you're (probably???) new to reading comics altogether:
Superhero comics are traditionally written in what's known as runs; an author gets to have an extended period on an ongoing (or limited) title where they (traditionally) write in 4-8 issue story arcs; think of these arcs as chapters in a potentially never-ending book. These individual issues are colloquially known as floppies. Every so often, titles end, the principal author on the titles switch up, or they'll have "guest/interim authors" come in to do single issues or a single story arc.
These story arcs are then collected in what are known as 'trade paperbacks' (generally referred to as trades, occasionally TPBs), which collects the entire story arc in a single paperback/hardback book. Trades are super useful if you want to read an entire story at one time, want to be economical about your comics spending, and/or want to read things in order. Occasionally, if a writer has a particularly long run on a title or a big company event happens, you get published omnibuses that collect an entire event or run (or part of it, if the event is big enough).
So when I talk about "Tom Taylor's run" on the Nightwing title, for example, I'm talking about the current writer, who's been the main author on the Nightwing title since March and just finished his first story arc ('Leaping into the Light', which starts at Nightwing #78 and just concluded last Tuesday with Nightwing #83).
A pull list is a list of comic books that, traditionally, are set aside each week for you at your local comic book store. It's basically like having a subscription/membership to a particular comic book.
Obviously, traditionally this is a very literal 'pull list' that the shop employees literally pull from the shelves for you, but it's become a more unofficial term in recent years as people buy more and more digital comics. For a lot of people, when they refer to their pull list they really just mean "these are the comics I'm actively reading and consciously keeping up with right now" (my current literal pull list is Nightwing, Batman: Urban Legends, and Wonder Girl, but I keep up with a few others-Robin and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, for example-via occasional buys, social media, and online reading; mostly, I'm waiting for trades to come out).
So that being said, when I buy comics, I get them from a variety of places:
I do, in fact, have a local brick & mortar comic book store that I get floppies and trades from; I don't usually buy floppies, but when I do, I normally get it from them. LCS's are unfortunately dwindling in number, but if you have one in your area, I highly recommend supporting them!
There's also this huge used bookstore run out of an old warehouse where I used to live (and where my parents still live, so I still get to visit it occasionally) that has a large comics/graphic novel section; I've gotten quite a few of my comics for dirt cheap from them.
Amazon and Ebay are super convenient and awesome places to buy trades; I've bought the majority of the comics I own via this route, tbh.
If you're more into digital comics (space issues, you prefer reading digitally, etc), I get mine from Comixology.
And if you’re dirt poor and can’t afford anything, getcomics.info is a safe site where you can download comics for free.
You can also read them for free (without downloading) at https://readcomiconline.li/, otherwise known as ReadComicOnline. When I do meta or post screenshots, I'm usually grabbing panels from RCO (mostly for convenience's sake).......needless to say, a lot of people read their comics using RCO, lmao.
Like I said, welcome, and let me know if you'd like a few digestable, reader-friendly comics to get started with!

Fic ask game: 12, 13 and 18?
12. Which fic am I most proud of and why?
Mdcspr for sure Haha. I was so proud I came back to it after a year to make sure I got it right. I'm the most pleased with the development of the main cast of characters, the OCs that I introduced, and the overall events that take place. It's the fic I've put the most effort into both with the original and the remix.
13. Which fic of mine deserves more recognition?
I have a couple.
Bedtime Stories is one I wrote for an exchange forever ago. It's kind of an origin for Tom and Sabine which canon has mostly disproved by now, but fuck it, it was cute and I had fun writing it. Basically, Tom and Sabine tell a young Marinette the story of how they met and fell in love in a series of bedtime stories.
The Girl Under the Mask
It was the first entirely ladrien multichapter story I wrote, and I'm still soft for it. Maybe I'll go back and polish it up, but the fucking moment when she goes to his fencing tournament in disguise, and Adrien has his hand on her sunglasses still sends me. I have more ladrien stories in the works for later this year that I'm excited about too. They're just so good.
18. Be honest. How many wips do I have atm?
Oh god let's count. These are the ones I intend to finish at least:
MDCSPR, Marinette and the Lost Temple, Moves Like Jagged, All's Fair in Love and Superheroes, Love Squared, Kill Em With Kindness, How to Win a Guy in 30 Days, Taming Lies and Chasing Butterflies (considering a part 2 finally). Also debating rewriting and finishing Lady Luck and Lady du Coeur.
And those are just the ones I've started that have been posted. There's also my BB piece, the not-so-enemies AU, my angsty ladrien idea where Gabriel thanoses himself accidentally, the cracky reveal fic where Adrien finds out his dad is Hawkmoth and immediately steals his miraculous that night and brings it to Ladybug (likely a one shot), the cracky ladrien idea with Alya and Adrien brotp where Alya learns Adrien has a crush on Ladybug and Marinette is like we should set them up, been debating doing the mystery blogger idea where Adrien secretly runs a blog that disproves literally everything Lila says and no one catches him, still figuring out dogrien, and there's the bad ending au that everyone said Cat, no to, but I might still do it.
We will see. I have a lot on my plate. But I've been hella productive this year tbh with mdcspr. (Ask Avril she's not convinced I'm human) So once that's done who knows. Most of these other projects are small by comparison. Except for dogrien. And LC if I get back to that. But most of these other ones are relatively short.
#cat replies#ask game#wip total is about 18 in that regard#well 19 technically#i have another fic in the works that is only gonna be on ao3#so i wont be posting it here

Back from the dead sorry this is in 2 parts just ignore or delete lol I was so tired last night 💀
How you treat each other: the way they show love throughout is mostly through communication and short tasks. As extroverted they are in public they have a side to them that seems more like a monarchy in weird ways. You'll show them your love by being along for their downs and even the small fights here and then. You know they love you even with the frustration. I feel you aren't the one to really want to be someone's savior but that's all I see. When you met them they might've even contemplated. They felt locked in and you somehow had keys.
(a downer don't read if so sorry if it's a trigger!) For love this relationship has a lot of delusions later on or in general. It feels like they're trying their hardest to feel good and they're still learning at times, may even suffer from medical or mental issues. I see them in a parking lot struggling to pull their keys out and having a panic attack possibly or something that made them feel panicked. (I think panic attacks more make you freeze up? Idk) I see a possibility of bipolarity too.
After every human interaction all they want to do by then is come home to you and relax. To talk about your day or do some midnight shopping. They want 5o join you wherever you go.
Things: orange juice or oranges, brown or black hair possible faded into blonde at some area or all throughout the hairstyles. Partial mid hair to short hairstyles. Dragons, purple or dark midnight blue suit, piercings. Brown eyes. 5,2-5'8 maybe even an inch taller or to 5'10 but I feel shorter side more. They could've been bullied because of it or they felt so. I see want tea, chai tea of some kind. Mya meet at an event or party involving business or family, could be a family friend even or from a different country in general. I see a shop of some kind also, or a parking lot you may meet in. It's hard to fully place, look for dragons of all sorts and tassels. Glows of some kind also, green surrounds this energy really. They may even want or take an architectural job. I see nice black shoes. If female, leather jacket somewhere, may be into fashion or designs and would be trying to sell some things to a company or technology wise. A sundress or some slacks. Mid hair on the shoulders or long held back. I heard dancing of some kind, hear me out. They may REALLY hate the song dance monkeys😭, idk I just heard it😍, snoring, twirling a wedding ring or ring of some kind. Looking down at it. Nervousness, an audition of some sort or big meeting. Files and cases. Apricot, peach, mango smells or tastes somewhere. If you smell ginger, pepperoni (weird), medicine, herbs, flowers or plants strongly then they may be near. "Ah, hold on!" Going to get somewhere fast. "Waiting". Large green trees, islands, resorts, falling in the sand, Ragnarok, rise of smth maybe a movie. Cathedral, loud, humane, human, "don't say that" - "don't make me cry". "Y'know what! Forget you!" Walking away. Star trek, signing, acting, business, Aries, Gemini, Scorpio moon/sun/mars, absolute history. Mark on the hands, feet, forehead, back. May be larger on the back.
I forgot my initials sorry ⛹🏽♀️ they're LC or LJMC
Sorry this one isn't colored I'm running late now lol
Okay thank you so much for taking the time to write this again. Omg it must be tiring and frustrating. I just want to ask whose POV is this? Like mine or theirs? But anyways the "things" part sent me into a frenzy for some reason lmao. I'd love to do more exchanges for you in the future or even just readings. Just send an ask or DM me lmao. I appreciate your hard work and thank you for acknowledging mine too😊
Lets get to your reading!
What does K think of you?
They may have thought of you as trouble as first? Like they saw as someone pretty aggressive and controversial. Someone they wouldn't like to mess with. They did take notice of you but weren't attracted to you. As time passed they started having some feelings? (not necessarily romantic take it as it would resonate) and they had this conflict between their head and heart. Like heart wants it but head knows its not good.
Right now they have not necessarily found the balance but I see they know deep down that there's some connection between you two. They are not quite sure of it seems. But they know it. Its almost like they don't know they have feelings. I see them worrying and thinking about this a lot. They may daydream about this. But at the end they will realise what they feel. Idk why but I feel this is a romantic connection? If not then just ignore it but the whole thing felt like they just let their heart win the conflict.
What people have a crush on you?
Okay so I'm not getting a direct answer but a sort of your journey towards finding love? I see you are too deep in your imagination these days which don't necessarily work in your favour. There's a hint of running away from reality. A lot of mental instability even though you may not realise it. Considerable degree of falsehood, deceive, misjudgement, fantastic narratives, exaggerated complaints, imaginary wrongs. The thing is the victim and assailant both are you. You need to learn to take control over these emotions. Remember its you that needs to control your emotions not the other way around.
You need to take action. Action towards taking control of the situation. Of yourself. The keyword here is 'swiftness'. You need to find happiness within yourself rather than in others. Be content in what you are. Feel whole in yourself. The message is to trust your intuition. There may be things that are hidden below the surface. If you are single be careful of who you meet. People may not be what they seem to be. If you think something is not right then its probably not. Follow your gut feeling.
I see 3/4 people taking an interest in you but they aren't that sure of what they feel to come and talk to you. You may not know these people very well. But they are around you. They see you often. Probably a mutual. But I see you aren't really ready for a relationship right now. You have a journey before that.
Hope it resonates and I could be of some help😊

Liberated Audio Reviews
Introduction:
The cult Sci-Fi series Blake's 7 has seen great admiration and appreciation in the 40 plus years since its initial broadcast in the UK., continuing to enthrall audience old and new alike. Despite its rather low budget, it possessed some pretty impressive writing and acting from its rotating cast of characters. Despite it being yet another Terry Nation brainchild, the series would evolve beyond the initial proposal/concept of 'Robin Hood in Space' under the direction of Chris Boucher to become something more than just a Star Wars clone.
Over the years, the show's devoted fanbase have poured over the show's 52 episodes and have long clamored, demanded, begged and pleaded with the Powers That Be for some sort of continuation or revival... In spite of the show's rather unorthodox and controversial ending.
After numerous rumors and false starts, which even included a full on audio reboot/reimagining by B7 Media back in late 2007/early 2008, it would be Big Finish Productions that would take up the daunting task of reviving and expanding the Blake's 7 universe starting in February 2012 with the Liberator Chronicles and the Classic Audio Adventures in January 2014.
The Liberator Chronicles are essentially enhanced audiobooks often told in the first person by whichever character is chosen to be the focus of the story. Often they are supported by one or two other cast members in order to help keep things from falling completely into standard audiobook monotony. Before tackling the full cast audios, I shall endeavor to present my thoughts and views on all twelve volumes of the Liberator Chronicles.
Please bear in mind that these reviews are based on my own opinions and no one else's. While I shall endeavor to be as fair as possible, I am not claiming that my opinion is the only one that matters and you are free to agree or disagree with me as you see fit. Just try to keep it civil. So, without further ado, let's get started by examining volume one.
Blake's 7 - The Liberator Chronicles Vol. 1
RELEASED FEBRUARY 2012
Recorded on: 23 September, 11 and 14 October 2011
Recorded at: Moat Studios
Review By Robert L. Torres

The Turing Test by Simon Guerrier
'After evading an attack by Cassini Pirates, the Liberator heads to the rogue moon of Quentil, where Avon and Vila infiltrate a top secret Federation science facility.
Vila assumes the guise of Dr. Yarding Gill, an expert in digital memory. And Avon is his "creation" - a super-advanced android that could pass for human. In fact, he does...
Can they maintain the ruse long enough to complete their mission? And will the Cassini Pirates catch up with them?'
Chronological Placement:
Series A - set after the events of LC Vol. 7's Disorder, between episodes Mission To Destiny and Duel.
This is a very well written story starring the late Paul Darrow as Kerr Avon, ably supported by Michael Keating as Vila Restal.
I love how the story is structured with Avon recounting these events AFTER the fact, like he was recording then for posterity into a dictaphone. I loved that Guerrier's writing didn't fall into the trap of having Avon try to do other voices or say 'said Blake', 'said Jenna' and so on. Nothing felt disruptive to the narrative and having Vila around never felt intrusive.
Kudos to Michael Keating for slipping back into the role of Vila Restal with relative ease. He will be quite reliable in a support capacity during many of these audios, and even get a chance at the spotlight... Which we will examine in due course. Right now, he lends his exceptional charm in this undercover mission posing as the scientist responsible for "creating" Avon.
Still, this story belongs to Paul Darrow, and he does a great job. It was a great story about what it means to be alive, what it means to be human and even serving as an examination of Avon himself. It was a nice inverse of the usual sort of questions regarding machine life wishing to be more human. Here we have a human considering himself to be more machine than man.
That is the interesting thing about Avon. Most scifi programs that deal with space travel tend to have an archetypical character known as the 'royal smart person'. For Star Trek TOS it was Spock, for Star Trek TNG it was Data, for DS9 it was Dax (and to a certain extent Bashir), for Voyager it was Seven of Nine, for Enterprise it was... Who the hell knows since everyone on that show was an idiot. As for Discovery... I honestly don't know cuz I haven't watched Discovery yet, but that's beside the point.
Avon is exceptional in his characterization only in that his desire to focus on pure logic and suppress his emotions does not come without its own drawbacks. Despite his intellect and skill with computers, he is someone that is also socially and emotionally cut off from others due to an inability to trust. He is also someone that sees the futility in giving over to emotional and irrational hysterics in order to showcase that he cares. Avon's intelligence also comes with a certain amount of ego, as he knows that he is smarter than many of his contemporaries, and much of the logic he embraces stems from a certain degree of self-serving self-interest.
His desire to assist in the situation with the AI android 14 stems from having an affinity with another creature of pure logic, and not wanting such a creature to be exploited and corrupted to further the aims and agendas of the Federation. This story is a great reminder of why Avon is a great antihero, as he is still willing to do the right thing in spite of himself.
Final Score: 8 out of 10 Plasma Bolts
Solitary by Nigel Fairs
‘Vila is in solitary confinement. His friends have abandoned him, his only contact with the world outside is Nyrron, a scientist from the planet Auron.
Amnesiac and confused, Vila attempts to piece together recent events... A mission to Dulcimer 4. An important meeting. And a visit to the jungle world of Terrulis Major.
In the depths of the foliage, the truth is waiting. And it's more terrifying than Vila could possible have imagined...’
Chronological Placement:
Series B - between episodes Redemption and Shadow.
I really do not have much to say about this story as it is profoundly unremarkable and is a major clunker in terms of execution of its concept, as well as the first person narration.
It has some interesting ideas, there is a central mystery that is interesting, with Vila finding himself in solitary confinement and abandoned by his friends, and we are introduced to a semi recurring guest character in the form of Auron scientist Gustav Nyrron, played by Anthony Howell ('Dr. David Keel' of the The Avengers: Lost Episodes range).
Nyrron himself is an interesting character as an ally for Blake and the Resistance, which begs the question why Cally wasn’t involved in this story as well. Because for an Auron scientist, he actually spends most of the time acting like either a reasonable interrogator or a benevolent psychiatrist for the imprisoned Vila.
The whole story itself is not executed terribly well. The Vila character spends a good chunk of the first few moments talking to himself, and then when Nyrron comes into the narrative, Vila spends the rest of the runtime being asked if he remembers certain events, and then goes on to basically recount events that lead up to meeting Nyrron and then goes on to tell Nyrron things that he already knows about.
As a Vila centric story, its also not terribly good, not even with certain unexpected revelations made. This story does Vila no favors and we don't learn much about Nyrron either. Fortunately, those are issues that would end up being rectified in later stories. Definitely give this one a miss.
Final Score: 4 out of 10 Plasma Bolts
Counterfeit by Peter Anghelides
‘The Bovee Mining Facility: A Federation slave camp worked by disgraced scientists.
The planet shouldn't be of interest but it is: Avon's investigations reveal that it's rich in Illusium, a mineral that can change from one substance to another. With it, the Federation could be invulnerable...
Blake teleports down to Bovee, but gets more than he bargained for. There's another visitor to the facility - and his presence changes the whole game...’
Chronological Placement:
Series A - set after the events of LC Vol. 1's The Turing Test, between episodes Mission To Destiny and Duel.
This is not a bad Blake focus story, with added support from Avon. However, what we get is a pretty standard adventure with Blake hoping to obtain certain materials and destroy the means of that material being reproduced in another effort to cripple the Federation's power. We even get in an appearance by Travis, Blake's personal nemesis, to lure him into a trap.
There isn't a whole lot to say about the story because of how standard and basic it all is. The fact that the story is done on audio does play in well into certain revelations and surprise twists made within the narrative. Many of which I will not speak on as it goes into spoiler territory. Other than that, the story itself is not bad, it is definitely worth a once-over. Its just unfortunate that it is also pretty average and fairly unremarkable.
Final Score: 5 out of 10 Plasma Bolts
Final score for Volume One of The Liberator Chronicles in its entirety is 6 out of 10 Plasma Bolts.
It isn't the best start to the Blake's 7 audio range as it really only has one story out of three to recommend it. Its great to hear the original actors back again, and thankfully they will be served better stories in the volumes to follow.
Special thanks to Craig Brawley of the Big Finish Listeners Facebook Group for his tireless efforts in mapping out the chronology of the audios and determining how they fit in with the established TV continuity.

International Trade Facilities: Commercial Letter of Credit and Documentary Letter of Credit (DLC). We offer international trade facilities for importers and exporters for importers and exporters worldwide. The Letter of credit or DLC are normally for short term pre-shipment credit or packing credit limits. About Letter Of Credit: The price range of such DLC or LC ranges from USD 100,000 up to USD 5 million. Normally the period for DLC or LC ranges from 60 days up to 180 days. Letter of credit or DLC (Documentary Letter of Credit) at Sight is different than Usance Letter Of Credit. What is the difference between Sight Letter of Credit and Time Letter or Credit or Usance Letter of credit? Many Importer / Exporter parties are confused between Sight LC and time letter of credit. Although both require certain documents, and both are common practice within the import & Export trade arena, there is clear difference between the two. About USANCE LC: A sight Letter of Credit becomes due as soon as the beneficiary presents the proof of delivery or proof of shipment, and other ancillary documents. Whereas, a Time Letter of Credit or USANCE letter of needs certain days to pass after submitting a letter of credit, proof of delivery or shipment, and other required documents, before the payment becomes due. Time period or Usance period is negotiated between buyer (Importer) and seller (exporter) which can be anywhere from 15 days to 360 days credit period. Another player with an established network is Bloomberg which was founded in 1981 and is one of the most established financial transaction networks in the world.
About SBLC: A Standby LC (SBLC/SLOC) and a bank guarantee (BG) may sound similar but are different in varying degrees. To first understand SBLC or BG Monetization, you first need to know about the Stand-By Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantee. An SBLC or SLOC is a type of LC that guarantees the (seller) exporter to be paid a specific amount if the importer or beneficiary (buyer) fails to meet the obligations in the contractual obligation. It acts as a safety net for the exporter and ensures that they paid despite the unforeseen events from the importer party. IMPORTANT NOTE: The LEASED INSTRUMENT CAN NOT BE MONETIZED. IT IS ILLEGAL. NEVER PAY ANY UPFRONT FEES FOR INSTRUMENT MONETIZATION.
