How does he do the wall crawly thing through his suit?

Like, pretty sure spiders (and other small creatures) stick to walls cause they got like microscopic hairs on their feet that gives them extra grip. Like, no surface, not even glass; is every truly, perfectly smooth and flat. There's always irregularities. That's where friction comes from. Tiny hairs get in to all the irregularities like tons and tons of handholds on a rock climbing wall.

Anyway, point is, if spiders stick to walls because of physical properties of their legs, how can a Spiderman do it without the direct contact the mechanism relies on?
