Hi! So, I was thinking about that article you just posted, and going "wow, she really is like a librarian". And I know I've called you that a lot, but I need to clarify - when I say you're the resident librarian/archivist, I always mean it in a "fantasy setting" type of way.

As in, you're THE Knowledge-Keeper of the realm, the one people from all over the continent come to when they need information and help. The one that seems quite scary and intimidating but really, is just a little weird/eccentric (affectionate). The one people know better than to mess with, but can always count on for Wisdom™.

You live in one of these TO ME. A super cool, old library, with hundreds of books, papers, knick-knacks, a cosy fireplace with tea/coffee always brewing, and maybe like a cat or other cool pet wondering about.

Realistically do you think Venam would ever want the short hair look you designed?

If it's something that's honestly calling her then yeah, I'd say it's something we'd want. The conversation that led me to making that picrew was about a potential Venam outfit change. Her current outfit is good, very good, it's actually one of my favs, but it definitely means towards her looking at an acting way too serious to be her. Again it fits, but if the devs ever want to show that seriousness and playfulness isn't exclusive an outfit change could do that.

Short hair can be seen as a sign of someone being more serious ( in a design of Flynn I have somewhere, her alt self has shorter hair compared to her og counterpart, showcasing her more serious, stern and a bit distant personality compared to Flynn's meeker shy self). Short hair can also be a sign of ones rowdiness, freedom, rebellion , playfulness, etc etc. Since the goal is to showcase that Venam isn't trying to be overly serious anymore, but not the person who she used to be, someone too carefree, I think her having shorter hair could very well symbolize both!

If venam was to cut her hair I do want it to be like. A very brash decision. She looked herself in the mirror went " should I cut it?" And the next thing she knows she's cutting it. Is she cutting it good? Well! Let's not worry about that. Melia or Erin could probably fix it later. I see it as an in the moment decision that , in my personal opinion, she would enjoy. Also I'm biased, I have short hair irl, and I love it lol.

Again, I don't dislike Venam with long hair or anything! She doesn't really have to change, cause she already looks good! Venam with shorter hair is just something I thought would be neat, especially since that type of hair is something I think isn't shown a lot in the female cast except act 1 Melia? If I'm wrong, please correct me! But if not, then I think it could be an interesting change of pace :). Of course, at the end of the day, I'm not a dev, nor a character designer so like. Fuck I know, I just think it would be cool.

GUYS QUESTION !!! SUPER URGENT !!!

What are works of Cliff Chiang that you guys would recommend me to read? I fell in love with their work when I read Green Arrow/Black Canary HOWEVER, I've heard bad things about the writing of that book so I dropped it. Is Catwoman: Lonely City good? How 'bout his work on Wonder Woman? Google is telling me they also worked on something Zatanna related? As well as Detective Comics? Also tell me ONLY DC Comics related, unless of course if they have stuff on the side. (DC Comics and Indie stuff are the only things my brain can read from him right now haha)

Asking this for a school req, I need to interview a comic book artist and they're the one I'm interested most in interviewing because they both draw and write. And I need to familiarize myself with their work more than just "Oh I just really liked your art in a series I dropped reading."
