i dont think non-transmasc allies realize that- it's actually their job to uplift our voices and make us more visible. it's actually their job to bring others awareness to us and to advocate for us. it's their job to use the platform they have to talk about us, accurately portray our struggles and/or bring trans guys into the discussion to talk about our problems. we can only do so much alone and if no one else is advocating for us, then people are less likely to listen and take us seriously.

y'know how white men hafta talk to other white men for them to actually listen about and understand the struggles of people of color? it's like that. people of your own demographic are more willing to listen to you than listen to the people you're advocating for, unfortunately, but that is the reality. you need to bring us on when you're having discussions about us or at least get your info from transmascs if you're going to talk about us w/o us there. I can shout at the top of my lungs about trans men everyday but at the end of the day it doesnt reach as much people. it's the responsibility of people with more visibility and a platform to boost our voices and message.

I can’t stop thinking about Yuta and Maki’s friendship. He 100% finds so much solace in her. I also know for sure that my poor guy has PTSD and Night Terrors something awful.

I’m thinking about him having just an absolutely awful night, thinking about the Night Parade that happened mere weeks ago. He’s frozen stiff in his bed, feeling the ghosting tingle of blood on his eye and pain all over his body.

Panda, happening to pass by, hears muffled cries and trembling breaths from Yuta’s room, and he immediately runs to get Gojo. Lucky for him, Maki was speaking with their sensei at the moment.

It’s Maki who’s the quickest as the three rush back upstairs to the dorms. It’s Maki who snatches the master key from between Gojo’s fingers. It’s Maki who shoulders the door open and rushes to Yuta’s side.

She looks as terrified as he does as she rips his hands away from his hair. She almost throws herself at him, catching the boy in her arms and engulfing him in a cradling hug. She holds his head against her chest, resting her own atop of it “I’m here, Yuta. I’m here… hey, Yuta- Yuta, I’m right here… I’m here…” she whispers desperately, repeating it like a prayer. “I’m here.”

Yuta wails loudly and desperately in her arms, sobbing into her collar as he allowed her to hold him like a baby. His body is shaking and his skin is crawling with the phantom feeling of blood and curses against it.

Panda and Gojo watch stoically, their expressions unreadable of their true feelings. Only his best friend, the one who caused Yuta this much suffering, would have been able to know just how broken-hearted the older man truly was behind his deadpanned facade.

They can’t bring themselves to express but Gojo’s hands are still shaking hours later, his ears ringing with the familiar sounds of someone in his past as he tries to push away the growing ache creeping up his core. It eventually falls onto Panda to bring back the normal after everything settles- finding that perfect balance of comfort and distraction that eventually helps them all sleep steady once again.
