I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.

I'm thinking abt that pretty fall leaves embroidery pattern post and about how like... it is categorically a repost, it's a reupload. right? a thing that is generally disliked. but because it's credited, it's genuinely boosting the artist in question. and it could ALWAYS be like this. reposting content could ALWAYS be a symbiotic relationship, but because sourcing back to the original creator of something is so uncommon, it's just easier to ask people not to repost it at all. and people still don't understand the difference. or they'll go to the effort of cropping out usernames/signatures to repost something, which is More Effort than literally crediting the creator of something you liked enough to want to repost. Like. I literally don't actually care if my own shit gets reposted, you have to understand. I just don't want it STOLEN. But "do not repost" is easier to write on my art than "you can repost this, but don't alter the image/remove my signature, don't you dare write 'credit goes to the artist' because that is not credit, please link back to my original post or someplace that you can actually find me. please use an actual link/url instead of writing a non-clickable link of my username, because making it text instead of a clickable link cuts the number of people who will go to the effort of visiting my own page in Half." All those aggregate themed accounts, those fuckin annoying as hell instagrams and facebook groups that are like "body positive art we love wamen 💕 hashtag feminism" and then MASS-STEAL plus sized art created by women, if pages like these that always go and steal my older self-portraits and other works... If they just put a link to my prints of those pieces in the text of those posts, or, fuck, my commission info page? I would literally be living on the moon right now. no joke but what I really want for Buddy Daddies as a fandom is to make fanart and fanfic post present time ep12 where Rei wears an arm orthosis when working.

I think varied disability aids being represented would be fantastic, and personally would write Rei as someone being deeply proud of something he's done for his family, but also understanding with time that using an orthosis also helps him at work and in raising Miri. with a giant portion of mobility/motorics aids being represented by prosthetics, seeing more variety and exploring it in fiction would also help making a step in normalising disability treatments.

can't believe a show based on a videogame (usually games adaptations are notoriously bad, which isn't the case here tho) gave me the beauty and the beast/twisted mirrors/enemies to traveling companions/ruthless antihero+optmistic but still badass heroine who takes none of his shit/age gap but make it sexy dynamic of my dreams. as much as i love maximus and i think he deserves the best writing ever because 1. he's a clever deconstruction of the aspiring Knight bro who's actually a bit of a loser and, as much as lucy, sees the world in black&white at first and then doesn't get what he thought he wanted but what he needs (or at least i hope he'll eventually get it), and 2. he's a cutie and i want an epic love story for him too, it's very funny how they tried to give us a puppy kind of romance and the tumblr girlies still fixated on the "toxic ~she bites his finger off and he cuts hers off and sews it on his hand in what we'll pretend it's a symbolic marriage rings exchange or whatever~ asshole who used to be a nice guy/good girl™ with a lot of spunk and hidden anger but unshakeable morals" kind of relationship.

Hickory is my favorite Trolls character, not because of his canon (all he did was flirt with Poppy, have a scene with the Smooth Jazz troll, and then have a liar revealed moment. Every other second he was vibing) but because of the grip he has on fans. I think I've seen about a dozen characters shipped with him, and I can see every single one of them as being canon.

Something I like about Leo is that he’s honestly really chill? It’s easy to remember the moments where he’s being obnoxious or excitable but I feel like most of the time he’s incredibly “go with the flow” and has an overall affable demeanor.

i don't usually answer asks like these (dom/sub or top/bottom asks are like the main reason i limit nsfw asks on this blog) but i want to say that it honestly just depends.

i've written a lot of intimate scenes now since i've started seriously writing like 4 yrs ago and i've never really written any character that's strictly one or the other. in my personal experience i find that it's usually just not the case for a lot of people & that it depends on the relationship, the situation, and communication. of course there are people that only ever want to do one or the other, not trying to argue that or invalidate anyone, my character Valentina from blood choke is a high femme (or as some would say, a pillow princess), but if you've read her intimate scenes you know that it's not that simple because of her experiences & the fact that she's not comfortable with the mc yet.

specifically it's the portrayal in fiction; i dislike the tendency in romance to make it so rigid without even having the characters ever discuss their preferences or sex in general in any meaningful way. i especially dislike the way a lot of authors and readers treat top/bottom/vers as interchangeable with dom/sub/switch and also as personality traits (it is literally just sexual preference) again it's mainly why i don't answer these kinds of questions or label my characters in that way because people take it and assume certain things about them that have nothing to do with sex. as in, people see Lea being a handler and kind of bossy and either assume that means they have to be a dom cus they just Have to be in control at all times, or to be "subversive," they must be a sub because actually they secretly long to not be in control at all! which is. incorrect in both instances. again there are people that may feel this way and this experience does represent them, but i don't like that it's the general assumption - this person is like this, so this must be the kind of sex they like, etc.

anyways all that to say that it depends on your mc and the situation. with tnp, i like trying to give the player a chance to choose how to approach sexual encounters, and i also want to do it in a way that will respect the other characters and their preferences, too. currently the only intimate scene in game has Merry taking the lead, but it fades to black before anything can really happen. i intend for later scenes to be longer & more interactive.
