Recuerdas que en tus últimos días a esta hora te solía llevar hacer tus necesidades al patio mientras te carcomía el cáncer en tu cuerpecito pequeño.

Tengo pena porque te volví a recordar, es loco, me has dolido más que mis amores platónicos y eso es porque contigo fue real. Dios! Se lee enfermo. Eras mi perrito, fuiste mi amigo y compañero, crecimos juntos. Tu con 3 meses y yo con 10 años.

Te extraño muchísimo, extraño tus cuatro patitas detrás de mi espalda, tu columna huesuda de viejito, tu calorcito de perrito enano, la seguridad que me entregabas al dormir porque le temo a la oscuridad.

Te extraño tanto, quisiera dejar el celular de lado y verte acostado en algún rincón de mi cama, que roncas, que veo tu colita, que veo tu pequeño cuerpo rubio con canitas.

Que puedo sentir tu energía nuevamente, que me siento acompañada otra vez y te puedo contar que termine la práctica y en como estuviste para acompañarme hasta el final. Pero no fue así, te faltaron 3 semanas para ver cómo terminaba y llegar a la casa a tomarte en brazos y decirte que lo logré.

Pero no estás, no pude abrazarte, lo único que tengo de ti es una caja con tus cenizas y una foto tuya de hace un año.

Te extraño muchísimo, extraño sentir tu respiración, tu peso de perrito chiquitito en mi cama, no merecías morir así ni de ninguna forma trágica. Merecías morir de una forma sana y bonita, pero dios no quiso que eso sucediera. Te tapo en cáncer, que te hicieras sólo, que perdieras el apetito, que te doliera respirar y que lloraras de dolor.

YO TE JURO QUE NUNCA QUISE ESO PARA TI Y ME DUELE TANTO ACORDARME.

Perdóname por tu bronquitis crónica, no fue mi culpa, los papás no me creían, y decían que era leseo hasta que te vieron ahogarte y pedir ayuda.

Perdóname tanto, no tenía los medios para llevarte al veterinario, una por ignorancia, dos por miedo y tres transporte.

Te extraño muchísimo, eres una herida en mi alma y en mi corazón. Andrew does not kill his brother.

He does ignore his brother and does lean in for another kiss from Neil before the two of them go to the hospital for Andrew to be re-checked in. It’s certainly not the last kiss he gets to give Neil that day, or even that hour. He’s remembered that there is no better way to get his brother to stop talking to him than to make out with Neil. So Aaron stops trying to talk with him, keeps his eyes firmly out of the backseat, and cranks the music up enough that it hurts Andrew’s head but not enough to stop kissing Neil.

Time moves quickly after that as he endures various tests and his observation period. He makes it clear that he does not want Aaron or Katelyn in his room and makes it even clearer that if they try to have Neil leave then Andrew will leave against medical advice again.
