Because I'm a menace

So I was thinking the other day about how it could work. Maybe the 141, after a retty heavy fix-it tag and killing Sheperd have a new mission that "should be pretty short" (yeah, like never) so they go to New York to kill another batch of terrorists and have to follow them in the sewers (some of them will obviously be killed by the renaissance brothers). The 141 splits in two groups, one with Ghost, Roach and Gaz, that have to stop some minor shit, and the other one with Soap and Price (+Nik still in the sky).

While walking through the tunnels, killing the enemy one at a time roach notices something in the water, or rather someone (?It looks humanoid to him) he wants to rescue the guy since he seems still alive, and he has to get a positive ID before killing him, but he gets jumpscared by an angry Ralph that was going home and didn't want to be seen by those that at first glance seemed plumbers or other shit.

However he scares the shit out of Roach, and the other two panic because «There is a thing! It's not human» and Ghost is the only one freaking just a little less out.

On the other side of New York Soap and Price found some less littered sewers, where there are black signs on the walls that might have been left there by the terrorists by accident (those are the stripes left by skateborading from the renaissance brothers).

They follow the black signs until they enter the turtle's house/den the THING WHERE THEY LIVE (I didn't watch the show in english, I should have). They encounter master splinter first. They freak out.

Okay, I know everyone is so hyped out there because of the new MW3...

So let's talk about the old Soap. 😜

My native language is not English, still thinking about writing a fanfiction about this big soldier.

Now, this thougts are some therapy for me... Thinking about he lives and he can find happiness either.

Sooo... I really thinking of the title.

Is: The One who could stop him - a good title? Thinking about something not too obvius.

Main target is Makarov, but who's the one who'll stop him?

(Oh and yeah, having a super secret agent LI for our beloved Soap is for the heartmelting moments. Thinking about slow-burn, and kinda sticking to the old timeline, but some things could change... And wanna make Ghost like he is in the new games, because I like him better that way.)

I love ur '09 + '22 interaction angst so much... the way 09soap is grieving and furious that he couldn't be saved, AGAIN, and how 22ghost can only stand there and take it bc he feels the same,,, and the how comforting and tightly 09ghost is holding 22soap,,,, ahh I love them very much !!! thank u sincerely ur art is wonderful :]

This idea was haunting me for days after I saw the campaign and I am glad you guys liked it? And I am also sorry. I honestly felt that I needed to draw something like that, something that also showed my feelings towards what happened. It definitely made me feel better.

Even knowing how tragic 09 ghostsoap ended in old games, it was easier for me to be in that 09 bubble knowing that they were both dead and 22 was like the second chance for them. So seeing the mess that was mwIII really hurt me and 09 Soap represents that. Meanwhile 09 Ghost reassures 22Soap because he knows how it feels to die first and to leave the his half.

I promise my next art will be all fluffy! I will work on it soon, I was a bit distracted playing COD zombies 🙈

Soap and Price meet Splinter, and first thing they do they start instructing him, telling him to put his hands where they can see them, but Splinter is faster and knoks them out.

Beofre loosing conciousness Soap is capable of activating the coms and say «Left tunnel, 700 meters»On the other side, the ones that jave been scared by Ralph hear the message and run towards the place they have been instructed to go, Ghost and Roach are worried for Soap since his voice didn't sound right and it was not only the interference from being underground.

Ralph, who was going in the same direction as them (towards home) doesn't know what to do. Should he swim, arrive faster than them and stop them or go slower and make a mess later? He always liked a bit of blood, so he sticks to following them at an alarmingly short distance. The soldiers are almost running, and he is swimming just a few meters away, in the silence of the water, where his breathing is completly obscured by the sound of the current of the water.

When the three soldiers eneter the side tunnel that goes towards his loar he has to get out of the water aand stay a few steps back, he goes in full ninja mode and gets ready to attack.

Meanwhile the two sergentes and the leutenant at the entrance of what seems an inhabited abandoned subway station are high alert searching for their captains. They take a few steps inside, jump over the barricades and find themselves in what seems like a cozy living room with a TV, random minigames at the sides, a punching bag more hiles than anything and some empty pizza cartons.

Ghost is the first one to speack.«We are going to have to inspect the place, this wasn't in the maps—»Before he could finish his sentence a green, brown and red creature appeared at his nack, scaring Roach again and taking the rest by surprise.

Roach shoots at the thing, while Ghost is trying to free himself from a choking hold.

An enormous hand lands on his face, letting his red-tinted sunglasses fall to the ground and blocking his repiration since it's wet and his nose is squished between the mask, the hand and the thickness of the air down here.

Roach shoots, but the bullet lands on the shell, penetrating only for a few centtimeters before stopping before hitting his organs. The creature screams in pain and uses his other arm to extract a metal obgect. Before he can stab in the heart Ghost, Gaz shootsunnyvibess too and the bullet enters the creature's flesh.

Thank you for sharing your art with us <3 I especially love your GhostSoap art, it brings a big smile and I can’t help but imagine both 09 and 22 just going at each other sometimes. Not maliciously of course, but I feel like they would get into shenanigans together XD

I feel like there would maybe be a little bit of tension between 22Ghost and 09Soap but 22Soap and 09Ghost would be menaces together. They are ready to cause chaos!

Meanwhile 22Soap would be excited that his 09 self is a Captain while 09 would admire 22’s energy.

As for Ghosts, 22 would be definitely very protective over 09 version.
