YES PLEASE I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO TELL ME ALL THE FOODS YOU MADE FOR DIWALI!! also yes i know what Diwali is, or at least have the general idea of it (festival of lights, five days of celebration with good food, song and dance, candles, honoring Vishnu) but please tell me more about it, i'd love to learn!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No you got what diwali is
You are the first foreigner who knows what diwali is sksksksksksk
Okay I'll add a read more cause boy am I gonna ramble
A summary about the story behind it -
It's said that Vishnu has 10 avatars in which he will come to earth to end the evil (one is yet to be born 👀) so his 7th avatar was Ram! Ram was the crowned prince of his Kingdom, he was called the "perfect man" (kind, righteous, caring, etc) but he had to live in exile for 14 years with his wife Sita and younger brother Laxman.
During that exile an evil king kidnapped Sita for reasons. Fast forward there was a battle (fun fact Ram didn't had a human army, instead he had a monkey army let's say they were some advanced monkey lmao) and Ram won, thus the end of evil. Diwali is celebrated on the day when Ram completed his exile and went back to this home. Everyone lit diyas as a welcome and celebrated the return of their beloved prince.
Diwali basically originated from this welcome. It signifies return of truth and goodness after defeating evil (evil can be our bad habits, bad behaviour or in my case fighting with my mental illness)
Another thing we say is the diyas and lights we light on this day will guide our dead back to their resting place and will guide Lakshmi maa (goddess of fortune, prosperity and wealth) to our home. That's also why we light a big diya in the pooja room which burns overnight and one person also sleeps in pooja room
Also before Diwali we clean up our houses thoroughly, every single thing is cleaned (this signifies cleaning up your heart and mind and getting rid of the evil inside you)!
That's my family's version! But india is big so everyone has different stories and rituals
As for the five day festival -
Dhanteras - We buy stuff on this day, big stuff like homes, cars, or for other people gold jewellery or clothes (my family does nothing lmao) It's the day where some people worship God of Health and Ayurveda
Narak Chaturdashi - also known as choti diwali aka mini diwali. It's said a demon called Naraksur was killed this day. I have no idea what else we do on this day because again my family does nothing (except shopping because we are last minute buyers)
Diwali - I'll tell about this later but you already know most stuff
Govardhan - on this day we make a mixed vegetable sabji called Anakut (I never eat it, it looks bad imo) by mixed I mean imagine my mom just putting every vegetable she can get her hands on into the pot
Bhai Dooj - this is my favourite!! It's a festival of brothers and sisters. In my family all my relatives and cousins just meet at one place and we have fun
On diwali my day looks like -
Wake up early, shower and dress up. Then we do Hanuman pooja (please search hanuman he's one my favourite god sksksk) then everyone fucks off to do their own thing.
I am on diya washing duty, we buy 100s of diya made of clay (so basically pottery) and I dunk them in water and then dry them after 3-4 hours. Then I make rangoli, rangoli is basically sand art! It's very fun I'll probably post pictures if I end up doing anything good 😂 rangoli takes 2-3 hours depending on how big it is or how many you are making.
Then we wait till evening when we dress in new clean clothes (doesn't have to be new always, I mostly have worn my older dresses) generally a traditional dress and sit for another pooja (uff) AND AFTER THAT!!!! Dun dun dun comes all the stuff we made
We finally get to eat all the snacks and sweets :D after that we visit some neighbours and/or go see the lighting in the city. It's beautiful everything is covered with fairy lights and diyas and different lights. Then if we have time and strength we can go to our relative's place too. At home we play games, listen to music, eat and watch movies etc
Now for the food we make -
Mathri (made by me and mom)
Namakpara (this too)
Shakarpara (and this too, this is my favourite)
Mini samosa (mom made this)
Mini kachori (we rarely make this one)
Chevda (this doesn't last even two days, made by mom and me)
Kaju katli (we buy this)
Gulab jamun (and this)
Besan ki barfi (this one is homemade by my mom and grandma)
Moong halwa (and this)
This is a rough list of all things we make or buy, but this isn't every diwali. Most people make/buy some of them. Even this time we don't have 3-4 things from this
Then there are other festival food like Puri, Churma, Halwa, Aloo sabji, Kachori, etc. These are general festival food that we make on things other than diwali
Another fun fact this ask took me nearly an hour to answer because my mom kept on asking me to do something or the other
Oh also it's the 4th November here and it's officially diwali so HAPPY DIWALI!!!!!

This cultural place which has received and witnessed one king after the other as they lived and ruled throughout Nepal quite some time ago, where new rulers were crowned while the consistent beats of trumpets and drums filled the area. The cultural Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three durbar squares in the country. Things I learned while re-watching Star Plus Mahabharata (Part 16/many):
1) As ever with Duryodhan, I cannot disagree with anything he says.
2) Oh god. This scene. Panchali’s curse. Her walking away as Arjun looks on. Gold.
3) Not sure I like this new version of Krishna seekh.
4) Also we have not seen Krishna fight once in this battle of Dwarka vs the King of Shalva.
5) I also don’t like crying Krishna. Not saying he can’t. But I can’t take him seriously when he cries. I need him to be infinitely more chill than SRJ is being right now.
6) Ah, Arjun swearing at the Kurus. A+ 10/10.
7) Oh my fucking god, Subhadra’s opening line to Arjun: how could you let this happen? I expect nothing less from her.
8) Madhav is back now, after chilling in his war. He’s still in a self-driven chariot.
9) Wow, he’s so pissed at the Pandavas and rightfully so.
10) Draupadi telling Krishna that she’s become impure. And anyone who comes near her would also become impure. No. NO. Every woman in the world knows this feeling.
11) Okay, first of all, Krishna, you moonlighting feminist, the first thing you should tell Draupadi is that she has not become malin because of what Duryodhana and Dushasan did. This is on them, not on her. I cannot but compare StarBharat with BR Chopra Mahabharat, the comparisons come very easily to me. And the truth is, they just did some things better.
12) Draupadi’s now fallen at his feet. Krishna is just like, Lord give me strength.
13) This scene is important because I feel like for once Krishna is putting his grand plans on hold for one second to give Draupadi back her peace of mind. Because first and foremost, the Lord is kind to those who follow him.
14) It’s so nice that StarBharat has shown this sort of sisterly solidarity between Draupadi and Subhadra, which is so important.
15) Draupadi is not even remotely impressed by Yudhishthira’s theatrics.
16) Draupadi’s pratigya makes her sound like Bhishma. Intentional or unintentional.
17) I cannot imagine Subhadra watching idly by as the Pandavas and Draupadi walk to the forest. I’m sure she put up a fight against her brothers to be allowed to go.
18) Speaking of, where is Balaram in all of this? His cousins are heading for vanvas and he is still chilling in Dwarka? Unrealistic.
19) Oh nice, Abhimanyu hasn’t even been born yet but somehow Krishna has managed to name him.
20) That scene where Arjun stops Subhadra from touching his feet. Some of StarBharat’s dialogueless scenes are just as touching.
21) Krishna’s glare as Shakuni enters the Indraprastha palace lmaoo.
22) A well executed scene but the watering hole scene happens only towards the end of the 12-year vanvas period.
23) This is hilarious. Yudhishthira is basically like Krishna is going to whoop my ass if I let something else happen to Panchali.
24) Oh god. Everyone loves Arjun the most. But I think Yudhishthira loves Bhim the most.
25) It’s time for Yudhishthira to meet his bio daddy!
26) Arjun doing tapasya for Shiv is my jam.
27) Bhim is such a cutie.
28) This Hanuman story is different though, right? Something to do with some lotus for Draupadi.
29) Is Hanuman a Yadav? He wears the same tilak. Or is this some Ram/Krishna connection we don’t quite know about.
30) I love Hanuman’s character! He’s so playful. And also the Hanuman Chalisa in the background score.
31) Oh so Hanuman knows that Krishna is Ram/Vishnu avatar and says he will chill on the chariot that’s being manned by God.
32) Oh no they never told us about the magic bowl Draupadi had that was gifted to her by Surya Dev which gave them unlimited food.
33) Also, do the Pandavas and Karna ever realise that they are all ‘gifts’ of Durvasa.
34) Krishna creeping in the background like some mega creep 😂
35) This is a conversation for another time but some day we need to talk about the incessant whitewashing of our gods such as Ram and Krishna in modern mythological serials. Also of Draupadi/Dhrishtadyumna/Arjun—basically anyone who’s described in canon as dark. There is some modern fetish for fair-skinned gods that just doesn’t sit right. I miss the dark-skinned Aruns and Nitishs.
36) Durvasa is still not impressed by Krishna. This man is literally god.
37) Arjun is fishing.
38) Oh nice, Indra is also here. Old gods and new.
39) Not sure whether I like this Shiv. Shiv in general I love.
40) Aaaand Jayadrath is here. Can’t wait for this guy to die in tomorrow’s BR Chopra Mahabharat episode.
41) Duryodhan low key throwing shade at Jayadrath is my jam.
42) Really, what does Dushala see in this man?
43) Kaun ho tum? Really? Draupadi doesn’t know her own brother-in-law? That seems highly unlikely.
44) Why is Arjun wasting time with all this trash talk?
45) Arjun is having a lot of second thoughts about keeping Jayadrath alive for Dushala’s sake but this is going to change very quickly during the war. Also Nakul rightfully points out that this man will give grief to Arjun later on.
46) This is by far the worst and most inaccurate map of Aryavarta to ever exist.
47) Oh no Jayadrath’s hair makeup is so not on point at this moment.
48) Mamashri Shakuni is literally fortune telling at this point and this is my jam.
49) So it’s canon that both Shakuni and Krishna are Slytherins, right? Yet they are the two most diametrically opposite Slytherins we have ever seen.
50) Also I want to see Dushala but these shows never give me what I want. When I make the Mahabharata I will make sure the women get equal and opposite screen time and character development as the men.
51) Yudhishthira is getting on my nerves.
52) This Draupadi is infinitely nicer than BR Chopra Mahabharat’s Roopa Ganguli who used to give it to her husbands every opportunity she got.
53) I also have lots of complaints. They didn’t show Dhrishtadyumna taking Draupadi’s sons home to Panchal to raise them.
54) They didn’t show Arjun chilling with his bio dad in heaven! They didn’t show Urvashi hitting on him and him rejecting her advances! Then she curses him, causing him to lose his manhood. And then she reverses the curse after Indra begs her and she limits it to lost manhood for one year of his choosing. That’s how Arjun uses the Brihannala guise for a year during agyaatvaas!
55) Shakuni training himself to think like Krishna. Looool.
56) Nakul bullying children is my jam.
57) Clearly this sattoo ke laddoo business is some sort of secret code amongst the Pandavas.
58) At least Uttar and Uttara are aptly shown as young teenagers.
59) My fav is back! Brihannala! 😍
60) Also what is this face covering nonsense by Sairindhri?! Women in the Later Vedic Age did not cover their faces or their heads behind purdah!!!
61) The Pandavas meeting together after a long time is giving me hope! This is what it’s going to be like when lockdown is over and I meet my friends 😭😭😭
62) This Keechak guy looks evil but I can’t take him seriously because his voice makes him sound like a prepubescent boy.
63) What is this casual classism from Keechak? Like Jesus, what a dirtbag.
64) Again there was no ghunghat back in those days?!?!
65) But iss Keechak ne toh consent ki maa behen kar di.
66) How happy the Pandavas are to see Panchali! Arjun the most, perhaps 😍
67) Virat making a dig at Dushasan. I’m here for this tea.
68) I can’t take Keechak seriously because of his voice.
69) This logic whereby if Draupadi has five husbands so she can have one more—like I will never understand this! She consented to five and no more???
70) Brihannala, my one true fav, is back!
71) Keechak vadh is my favourite episode, behind Shishupal vadh and Jayadrath vadh. Do you see the pattern?
72) Why is Draupadi here? I wanted to see Bhim’s giant form hidden as a lump under a blanket, enticing Keechak.
73) Bhim is here! 😍 Seriously, no one loves Panchali as much as Bhim does. Arjun toh is smitten by our Yadav homegirl.
74) Now Arjun is going to do his tandav dance. This should distract the others from the noise nicely.
75) Oh nice. Nakul and Sahadev are also participating.
76) Predictably, Jyesth Bhrata, Yudhishthira, is not invited to this Keechak vadh party.
77) King Virat is like oh no what a loss.
78) Yudhishthira looks pissed, as always, when his brothers have done something good.
79) Haha. Duryodhan has caught on to the fact that Bhishma is trying desperately to stall so that the Pandavas are not found out.
81) Now Duryodhan is now accusing Vidur of partiality. Again, he is not wrong. I’m so impressed by how well his character has been written. Not one word he says is incorrect.
82) Nice. Duryodhan has his father wrapped around his little finger. He knows exactly how to manipulate him so that Dhritarashtra rises to the bait.
83) After all these centuries Bhishma realises that Shakuni is after the destruction of Hastinapur.
84) Shakuni is admitting now that all of this is revenge for Gandhari. Oh man. Do you think Bhishma knew that the Mahabharat was the result of his poorly executed actions (intentional or otherwise)?
85) King Virat is so smart. I like him. I’m going to be so sad when he dies.
86) Brihannala is going to stay behind. Great. It’s so interesting to see this story in retrospect (which is how it’s told to Janamajeya and Vajra) in the first place.
87) I like Virat with open hair.
88) What the hell is this? I cannot be attracted to Pitamaha Bhishma and Mama Shakuni with their open hair and battle armour?! Adharm!
89) Oh what a cool sundial!
90) I’m glad they showed Uttar as nothing more than a teenager.
91) Mama Shakuni is so fit.
92) Do you think Bhishma recognises Arjun as Uttar’s chariot?
93) Poor Uttar is probably shitting his pants.
94) Arjun praying to Agni Dev to return his Gandiv. Old gods to the rescue.
95) This background score! It’s my absolute favourite! Parthasya Dhananjaya! My fav song on my fav, Arjun 😍
96) Bhishma looks thoroughly pleased. He recognises the sound of the Gandiv’s twang.
97) Now they will fight about the authenticity of the calendar. They should go to a calendar expert.
98) Bhishma looks proper chuffed at Arjun. How on earth will they fight against each other in the Great War?
99) Oh man, Karna is here. Ugh.
100) Karna is here to trash talk as per usual. Oh god both these men are useless. Fight no instead of talking so much.
101) Oh man, the charioteer’s son has been thrown from his chariot but not before taking a shot at Arjun.
102) Ah Karna’s divine armour makes an appearance!
103) Oh shit, this just got real! They’re calling on divine weapons!
104) Bhishma steps in. Of course.
105) Duryodhan’s hah! 😂😂
106) Arjun crying that if he is responsible for Bhishma’s death, it will be hell on earth for him. Oh, Arjun. You must still suffer, a lot.
107) Arjun’s threat, that all the Pandavas will come to avenge Draupadi’s insult. Yes. 100%. I hope in this yug even if men are not punished for their crimes against women on earth, they will suffer forever in hell for their misdeeds.
108) The Pandavas and Draupadi are ready. It’s time for the Great War. It’s time for Mahabharat.

Trinidad & Tobago - Carribean dreams...
I am so ‘vex’ that I won't be ‘liming’ in this beautiful place any more. I have been one lucky person to have been able to come here and hang with a local for almost a week. Jasmine has shown me her Trinidad and for that I am truly grateful. I have eaten so many local foods and they have all been fantastic. I have impressed the locals no end with my love of pepper sauce. The food here is tasty, spicy, and pretty much specific to this island. ‘Nah boy’, I am so very much enamoured with this country! One of my friends asked me if I had posted photos of the food. Truth be told, I don’t have a lot of pics, its not the most photogenic, and I seriously just wanted to eat it! I have partaken in the local speciality of doubles, with ‘plenty’ I might add - for those unaware that is with extra hot sauce and/or the mango bone that is infused with more pepper. Doubles is made with 2 baras filled with a curry channa (chick peas), it originally started as a breakfast food, progressing to be an anytime of the day food. It’s nutritious, tasty, and sold at street side vendors everywhere. Apparently even pizza and KFC taste better over here. This I can now say I agree with. Not sure if the food tastes better, or if its adding the ketchup, mustard, and pepper sauce that assists with the taste upgrade.....
Tumblr media
Jas took me to the home of street food a little town called St James, and made sure I got to have saheena, (seriously amazing spicy little deep fried spinachy deliciousness ) as well as alloo pie...amongst other things. The locals only really eat out at restaurants on special occasions so that meant Jas cooked for me a lot of the time, and wow, just wow. I loved the chicken curry (brown), smoked herring, baigan choka, salt fish, home made roti, the fabulous goat curry.... I could rave on, but google Trinidadian food and you’ll understand. Jas lives out in the ‘country’ to the South of Port of Spain, the capital. We spent one evening heading around to some of the local rum bars. Rum bars are everywhere here. Beer is cold and cheap (and made here - love the Stag and the Carib!). I got to meet a few of the locals. Over here they will buy you a drink even for something as simple as the fact that they had to order over you slightly. At the bar. They loved to meet the ‘white girl from Austalia’, as out here they dont see a lot like me... The good thing is none of it was them just trying it on with the foreigner. These are genuinely lovely, polite, caring people. I had a dance off with some girls from Venezuela, and ended up drinking way more drinks then I paid for, eating (they sell bar snacks and’cutters’ only at the rum shops) some tasty wontons at one place, and some really tasty fried chicken at another. We then got some free food from another lovely local who bought us a drink, and also then brought us across some Souse and Corn soup from his food stall (across the road from the rum shop). Anyway I can now say I have tried Souse, not sure I’d eat it again, it was flavourful, but pigs trotters in broth with onion and cucumber is not on my list of things to eat again! I think I have decided that I need to come back to Aus and start my own Trini food store, I think it’d be a huge hit. Love the local beers. Love the rum here. Jas made sure I tasted the Puncheon rum - 75 % and you never get a hangover or upset stomach... I wanted to bring some home, but alas no room in the suitcase! One of the biggest things, I was not aware that this is the home where Angostura bitters is bottled. It was first created in the town called Angostura in Venezuela by a German surgeon stationed in Venezuela, originally produced there between 1824 - 1830. In 1875, the plant was moved to Trinidad and that’s where it’s secret recipe is still produced today.
One of the main religions here is Hindu, they have a giant (85 feet - 26m) statue of Lord Hanuman Murti located in the grounds of Dattatreya Yoga. The statue is the second tallest in the world, and the tallest one in the western hemisphere. When we pulled up onsite there was one man looking after the bookstore who allowed us to enter the grounds and take photos. We weren't allowed to enter the temple/yoga centre as we weren't appropriately dressed. The gentleman then showed us the book explaining how the statue had been built and answered all my gazillion questions. It was like having our own private tour! Jas then took me down the road a little further to show me the temple in the sea. This temple was originally constructed by hand 1947 -52 by Sewdass Sadhu an immigrant from India. It has since been added to, and tidied up, but it's an amazing place, and a site of pilgrimage for Hindus. It's also one of the designated locations for Hindus to perform the funeral pyre. Hindu religion requires that the dead are burned near water and a holy place.

Brian Lara is still HUGE here. He is a home town Trini boy so I completely understand. Cricket is massive, and the new Brian Lara stadium is a huge landmark. They had a cricket game on when I was here (Trinidad vs Jamaica) but they had sold out the tickets otherwise we would have gone.

I spent a day at the beautiful Maracas beach, located on the northern part of Trini. On the way there we stopped at the lookout and had a quick look at the food stalls. I got to try some ‘Chow’, a garlicky spicy way of preserving such things as Pineapple, apple, mango, cucumber... its yummy and not too spicy and I really appreciated the stall holder giving me a taste ( and Jas’s friend Isabelle for buying some of the pineapple one). Maracas beach is a favourite with the locals and its a thing to do to have a ‘bake and shark’ when you go to the beach. Betcha cant guess what I had... Can I say amazing (again!!) You not only get your bake (which is a deep fried Roti) You get beautiful fresh deep fried shark fillet inside it, then you go to a buffet like area and add as many of the additions as you want . Yep, of course I added a bit of EVERYTHING . I had to taste it all. Seriously that thing was amazing. BTW I do taste everything first before adding pepper sauce... pepper sauce heightens the flavours. Jas’s friend Isabelle got her son in law to give us a shout out on the radio station he worked at ( they had it playing at the beach), so ‘Karen from Australia’ is now Trini Famous... love it!!
Tumblr media
Jasmine took me out to the Pitch lake, in La Brea, and I’ll admit, I had no idea what it was ( I thought it was a lake!!) Anyway, some how we ended up with a colourful local as our personal guide, he was You tube famous and has apparently featured on David Attenboroughs visit to the lake. I have to sit and edit my ‘documentary’ when I’m back in Australia, it’ll be awesome.. I promise. Suffice to say the lake is the most amazing tar pit. Seriously amazing tar pit. The roads leading into the area are all like travelling over mini crazy hills due to the impact of the tar movements in the area. You have to use an authorised guide on the site, which is fair enough as a wrong step could see you disappear forever into the tar... literally... Trinidads pitch lake is the largest natural deposit of asphalt in the world (estimated to hold about 10 million tonnes) Its covers about 100 acres and is about 250 feet deep. There is a cool legend involving the origin of the lake the involves a hummingbird (I like the story), Historically Walter Raleigh re-discovered the lake on his expedition there in 1595. It has that charming rotten egg smell, and the mud and sulphur water apparently have healing properties. Locals were there immersing themselves in some of the pools while we were there. As we didnt have swim suits we had to settle with getting coated in the mud on our legs, and for me, also my face...lol!!! I didnt get a chance to put it on myself, out guide was very keen to smear it all over my face... (and shirt and hair.. etc...). Rinsing it, after it had set, was a whole other process involving splashing what looked Iike green water all over my face (and legs), all I wanted to do was rinse my face with some fresh water afterwards - and it took over an hour or so until I finally got somewhere to do it. Let’s not talk about how much scrubbing it required later that night to get the last bits of our skin! A great fun day though, made all the better for our colourful guide! I have had a crash course in some of the Trinidadian slang/words and between that and their accents I am sometimes lost in a conversation... (definitely accents particularly when you are trying to enter the country and the border control guy is talking to you and you have to continually say, sorry what??? ) I’m a lot better now!!

Jas couldn’t make it over to Tobago as she had work scheduled at her house that she needed to be around for. So I decided to head over for a night, hire a car, and see what I could see. Its literally a 20 min flight over (only costs about 50 US return) FYI 24 hrs isn’t really enough to see everything. I didnt get to the water fall or national park. I had headed down to Store bay beach when I first arrived with instructions to try the curry crab, conch and dumplings in Tobago (its their local specialty, amongst a few other things). Have to say I liked the conch, crab was over cooked and dry, and dumplings were kind of chewy. The ‘provisions’ that I got with it were really nice though - Plantain, Potato, green banana, avocado ..I would have liked to have tried another outlet to give a second opinion, but didnt have the time. I did get to the beautiful Pigeon Park, a natural reserve area, filled with some shops, water sports hire, beautiful beaches and glorious spot to watch the sunset. I also got out to the Fort of King George in Scarborough hiking up the giant hill to take in the glorious views. Hilariously there was a traffic hold up on my way there due to some goats being herded along the road. Island time boy. I would have to say, as much as its a part of the one country, Tobago island is completely different to Trinidad. Its a lot more touristy for a start, it has more servicible beaches. The roads are not as pot holed as Trinidad. The people are still lovely, but you get the tourist scouters who are looking to sell you on anything they can. Its a beautiful place and I’m so glad I got to go across and visit. As always, I can always go back!

My time in the Caribbean has come to a close. (9-16 Oct). What an adventure. I have had a fabulous time, and recommend to anyone to come here and see this place, taste the food and meet the people for themselves. The country has their own issues with government corruption which impacts the improvement of infrastructure like roads etc. And there are warnings around safety as there are elements involved in crime that impact locals and tourists alike. This just makes Trinidad Tobago, not unlike a lot of other countries that I have visited on my adventures. It just means the more prepared you are to be open to new things, different ways of doing things, different cultures. The more you are aware of your own safety, and that of your belongings , the more you can avoid crime. Crime can impact you anywhere in the world, countries like this dont have it any more or less than others, it just seems to be in the media more....

Origin and Inception
The literal meaning of Himachal Pradesh is “in the lap of Himalayas”. The term is derived from a Sanskrit term “Hima” which means snow. The state came into being on April 15, 1948, when four of its districts Chamba, Mandi, Sirmour, and Mahasu joined India. It got full statehood on January 25, 1971 and became the 18th state of the country. The Sirmour district also hold the distinction of being only the 2nd district to get its own municipality. Apart from being a big exporter and producer of agricultural products like apples and peaches, Himachal is also known for its handicrafts as well as tourism. This is why there are very good stay options in Himachal, from luxurious to basic hotels.
The experience of Toy Train

It covers beautiful landscape as it crosses 806 bridges, 103 tunnels, and 18 stations. It has been declared as a World Heritage Sight by UNESCO. It also holds the record for covering the steepest slope of 5816 feet in a short distance of 96 kms.
Least corrupt state with high literacy
One of the reasons why Himachal Pradesh offers a great traveling experience is the safety it provides. There crime rate is very low in the state. It is also considered the least corrupt state in the country after Kerala. The state has also shot up in terms of literacy. The literacy rate in the country is 83.7%, which is 11th best in the country.

The land of Sanjeevani Booti
It is believed that Churdhar Peak near Nahan, Sirmour district, is the place where Lord Hanuman went to fetch Sanjeevani Booti that was needed to treat Laxman. Churdhar Peak is also the place where George Everest, after whom Mount Everest is named, made many readings and sightings of the Himalayas. Another fascinating Sirmour Tourism attraction is the Suketi Fossil Park. It is also the only fossil park in Asia which is built on a site where actual fossils were found.

The Complete Kathmandu Travel Guide For Tourists
Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is its heart, and we can’t deny this point. It’s a mirror image of the country and thus presents you with authentic Nepali experiences. Fun fact, the city has 4 out of ten UNESCO world heritage locations and two around it. As a result, there are various things to explore in Kathmandu, including shrines and much more.
Tumblr media
So here, we at India By Car and Driver give you a travel guide, so that you can tour around easily in Kathmandu with the Best Of Nepal Tour and Nepal Mountain, Culture and Wildlife Tour Packages.
How to reach?
As India By Car and Driver, we believe that you must know how to get there before going to a place. Not learning how to get somewhere is like not learning how to walk so that you will be stuck in one place, so let’s see how to reach Kathmandu first.
Flight: The city is connected by domestic as well as international flights.
Taxi: It’s the most convenient way to travel in and around Kathmandu, the rates are 45 NPR/km, but you will have to bargain for it. Note that if you are taking a taxi from the airport, the fare is approx. 500-700 NPR.
Bus: It’s a bit inconvenient but cheap, as local people will crowd the buses and sorry, no AC, but the travel experience is worth it, you will have to pay 20-50 NPR depending on the distance.
Micro Bus: These have a capacity of about ten persons and are an excellent way to travel with charges starting from 10 NPR.
Important tips
Please note these valuable points.
●       You will require an average of 2-4 days to explore Kathmandu.
●       You can visit the city at any time in the year, but late September to November is a tourist’s high noon.
Accommodations
You have reached Kathmandu! Now you need to go and find a place to stay. Is your heart throbbing with this thought? Well, no need to worry. Since Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and a tourist attraction, you can easily find accommodation from budget hotels, luxury accommodations, homestays, hostels, and more. The best accommodation areas are Thamel and Golkupakha.
●       For the valuable part, a stay in Kathmandu will cost you around 829.31- 35541.68 NPR approx.
Tourist attractions in Kathmandu
Kathmandu is a blend of modern and traditional places, making it a place that allows you to see the best in Nepal. So let’s give you a rundown of these places without a long, dull opening.
●       Monuments: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka. Hindu Temples: Pashupatinath, Dakshinkali Temple, Guhyeshwari Temple, Jagannath Temple, Kirateshwar Mahadev Temple, Kasthamandap.
●       Buddhist Sites: Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Budhanilkantha, Kathesimbhu Stupa, Kopan Monastery, Chabhahil Stupa.
●       Markets: Thamel, Asan Tole.
●       Miscellaneous: Freak Street, Garden of Dreams, Casinos.
What to do here?
There are many different activities in Kathmandu that you will think about what to do? And what not to do? So here is a menu of the best.
●       Get blessings from the living goddess Kumari.
●       Try Nepali food.
●       Buy traditional handicrafts.
●       Yoga and meditation for the soul.
●       Ayurveda treatments.
●       Experience the backstreets.
●       Back to school with classes and workshops.
●       Fly to Mount Everest however you like and climb it if you dare.
What to eat?
Being a food lover myself (not a foodie), this is my favorite section, so let’s dive into it right away. Four of these are even available in India, but I will leave it up to you to guess which ones?
●       Munching Momos.
●       Chilly Choila.
●       Pampering Pakora.
●       Sizzling Samosa.
●       Tantalizing Thukpa.
●       Nail Licking Nepali Thali.
●       Delicious Dal Bhat.

10 easy yoga tips for beginners
Where to start doing yoga? - Start with theory. Don't rush to the yoga room. A couple of free evenings READ something about yoga - better not one, but different, "a little bit of everything." Agree that you should not rush headlong into a serious event that will take you years, if not decades, without setting goals, and without outlining a picture of "what is it in general terms"? Choose a style and teacher as seriously as you would choose a college for your child. I am sure this is the most useful yoga advice in the world. It’s not how to quickly get stretching or gain muscle strength. Start with theory right away. Then, when you start practicing (and especially if you start to succeed), you will no longer be up to it.
1.     WHAT IS YOGA?
In order not to get confused in the abundance of modern styles ** and directions of yoga, it is worthwhile to study a little the theory of yoga, it will not take much time and will give a clear vision of the situation, without "filters" of commerce on the one hand, and religiosity and sectarianism, on the other. In yoga, initially and to this day, there are only 4 branches: these are Hatha Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga *. All yoga styles, both ancient and modern, belong to one of these large groups. Belonging to one of them decides a lot: this is terminology, and philosophy, and practices, and teachers, and even, sometimes, intermediate goals - all this is different in different traditions.
In short, in essence:
Hatha     Yogis achieve their goals by performing special static postures (asanas),     breathing exercises (pranayamas), special positions of the body and hands     (mudras), and meditation (concentration);
jnana     - (aka "raja") yoga - through special meditations and meditative     exercises for the mind;
bhakti-yoga     - complete devotion to the highest goal of yoga (Enlightenment) and total     emotional / mental inspiration (absorption) by this one goal;
karma     yoga - performing all and any actions without the desire for any result,     i.e. aimlessly, disinterestedly.
Having understood this (very roughly outlined by me, for the purpose of clarification) structure, any beginner can immediately understand what he likes best, and will also be able to distinguish a true yoga teacher from a false one, and "normal", adequate and holistic in terms of influence, yoga - from "Yoga pyramids" and sects, or physical education with an Indian accent. Consider the fact that nowadays such general terms as, for example, "Ashtanga Yoga", "Kundalini Yoga", "Bhakti Yoga", "Tantra" and others have become brands of copyright "styles" are used with commercial goals and have lost their true meaning.
 PRACTICE:
Read     the articles "Yoga", "Ashtanga Raja Yoga", "Yoga     Sutras of Patanjali", "Chakras" on Wikipedia or in another     encyclopedia - after spending just 1 hour, you will get a general, and not     distorted, idea of yoga in general.
If     you have more time and desire to learn about yoga, check out the blog     material "What to read about yoga?" and read something from     the list given there.
2.     How to avoid injury during yoga?
The question of the safety and usefulness of yoga practice is one of the first, no matter what style of yoga you are interested in! We recommend:
It is necessary to start studying Hatha Yoga under the direct guidance of a "live" teacher (then, if you want, you will study independently, online or from books and videos - but not at the beginning).
As early as possible in the practice of Hatha, you should learn to listen to your body, and not just do the exercises. And then perform all the exercises at your level, and as far as the body's capabilities at every moment of time, NOT looking at the explanations of the teacher or the recommendations of the book / video / online course, etc. Nobody, even the best teacher, will tell you exactly what you should or shouldn't do, and how, except your own body!
Do yogic cleansing of the body - "Shatkarma". They will help to cope with body stiffness and soreness from asanas.
Diversify the practice with different "styles" and schools of yoga. Repetitive movements, especially if performed with minor errors, can be extremely destructive to the body. The solution to the problem is diversity.
Don't let anyone actively influence your body. The correction of a good yoga teacher lies in the world-corrections of the body position, and not in the fact that a person has piled on you with his weight, or pulls your hand / leg "to the touch." You should be advised on how to improve your posture yourself.
Learn to relax. At first, you will have a lot of tension in your body. So that it does not accumulate, master the techniques of deep relaxation IMMEDIATELY - already at first. This is, first of all, a long (from 10 minutes and more) Shavasana and Yoga Nidra (materials 1 and 2).
Plus, read the feature article on our blog.
3.     How to choose a yoga style?
This is very important at first, and we have already discussed this in detail in the blog earlier.
4.     How to choose yoga clothes?
This will largely determine how you feel about the practice and even your state of mind. So this is not the last question. Fortunately, the "Hanuman" store has a large selection of quality yoga clothes, for every style and for every taste, for men and women. For useful tips, again - refer you to the blog material.
5.     How  to care for your yoga mat?
Again, the question is trivial at first glance, but not superfluous. After all, the convenience in practice, as well as the aesthetics and hygiene of the rug - your most important "props" in yoga - should be far from last. Again, the Hanuman website store will help you decide on the choice of a yoga mat.
6.     How to adjust your diet as a yogi eat?
Timely, adequate body constitution (Dosha) and full, balanced nutrition will largely determine your success in yoga: at first, it will give flexibility and lightness to the body, and in the future, it will ensure success in pranayama, as well as clarity of mind and concentration. Adequate nutrition also allows you to avoid wear and tear of joints and other body tissues from yoga practice, allows you to quickly restore muscles and strength, which means you can practice more often and longer, do not get tired and do not feel sad! At the beginning of the practice, nutrition for yogis does not differ from just "healthy eating", but taking into account the modern discoveries of dietetics. Study this question carefully and thoroughly.
7.     The most important component of successful yoga practice
is "Abhyasa" or "constancy" of practice, ie. continuity, regularity of training. Better to practice every day for 15 minutes than once a week for 3 hours in a row! We also talked about how to start practicing daily.
8. How different practices and styles of yoga and physical are combined. workouts?
9. If you have started yoga, and suffer from the fact that you are very inflexible (s) -  read an article on this topic .
10. If you have individual practical questions about yoga  - you can ask them right here, in the comments to the material, or write to the editor of the blog "Hanuman"! Success in practice!

Bonus Chapter 21.5
M’Baku x Akari (OC)
“Bet what hmm?” Runi raised her eyebrows, challenging her captor. No matter what the situation, Runi was always acted like she was in control, even when she didn’t have the upper hand. But even she was starting to have second thoughts about provoking the beast. Zahkele’s salacious gaze told her as much, who was eyeing her up like prey.
“Bet those black panties. And that bra.” He relished in watching her mouth turn in utter shock at his boldness.
But Runi was quickly shaken out of her daze, trying to wriggle out of his grip but to no avail. “Gyagh, so what’s the bet?”
All of a sudden they were snapped out of their negotiations as they heard the muffled sound of the front door slamming. The pitter patter of footsteps grew closer and closer, and Zahkele quickly twirled Runi around so her back was to his stomach, tightening his hold with one hand on her mouth and one around her waist. He liked the way Runi’s body moulded with his own, taking in the distinct scent of boysenberries that wafted from her skin. As they waited for the footsteps to identify themselves, Zahkele brought himself to Runi’s ear.
“Bet I can make you moan.”
“Kele!”
“What do you want Kaia?!” He roared, and beyond the door Kaia made a face at Zahkele’s unwarranted outburst. Little did she know his frustration of being interrupted, trying to keep a squirming Runi on lock in his arms. “Hold still!” He hissed into her ear.
“Did Runi come over?”
“Yeah, but she said she had some stuff to do so she went home.” This comment earning an angry muffle from Runi who then started thrashing. But before she could break free Zahkele, suddenly eyed up a soft spot on Runi’s neck, licking his lips before going in for the kill.
Runi let out a muffled squeal when she felt Zahkele’s mouth suckle on the nape of her neck. Zahkele raised his eyebrows, realising he must’ve found her sweet spot. He continued to nip and suck on the soft skin until he was sure it was going to leave a mark.
“Okay. Kari just wanted me to let the fam know she’d be going to the palace for dinner.”
The squirming stopped as both Zahkele and Runi unknowingly made the same expression of intrigue. And Zahkele would have normally pressed further, if he didn’t already have business to attend to. “Okay, sounds good, I’ll let dad know when he gets home.”
“Sweet.” Zahkele didn’t even wait for the pitter patter of feet walking away before continuing his brazen attack on Runi’s neck, weakening her with every lick. Every bite. . Zahkele let his hand roam her waist, feeling the slight curve of her hips that dipped in the tight black training pants she was wearing.
Zahkele had always seen the girl in his arms as exactly that- a girl. The loud-mouthed friend of his sister, but also friend of the family. It was until that fateful night Ever since that night Zahkele had started to notice Runi was actually grown. Fully grown. And night after night he had prayed for Hanuman to help him, considering he couldn’t help himself.
Runi let out a small muffled moan.
He really couldn’t.
Zahkele finished off his second hickey with peppered kisses along her shoulder until he reached her singlet strap. Satisfied with his victory, he released Runi, stepping back and watching her almost stumble as her very knees were weak. Zahkele causally made his way back onto the bed, lying down in the exact same position Runi found him in. They both heard the front door slam again, signifying the fact that both of them were now again alone.
“I guess I win.”
“Oh shut up.” Runi took one look at her former captor, lying there with a smugly wolfish grin, and for a moment paused to take in the image of his half-naked form. Before relieving herself of her singlet. She then jumped on the bed and immediately straddled Zahkele’s hips, grinding on his hard member through the fabric of his pants, rewarding her with a hiss from Zahkele before his hands found her hips once again. Runi brought her lips to his in a heated kiss, while Zahkele ground his hips upward. Neither one was willing to let up.
Even when Zahkele all but ripped Runi’s pants off while Runi furiously undid his own. When Runi settled herself on his lap, taking him inch by inch not by necessity, only to tease. Even when Zahkele gripped her hips as she winded on top of him, raking her hands up and down Zahkele’s chiseled torso.
Neither one was willing to admit defeat.
Even when Zahkele’s grunts signalled his release at the beckon of Runi’s gasps, now towering over her as she raked her nails down his back and came with a loud cry. And as they both lay there in the afterglow, tangled in each other’s arms,
Neither one decided to let go.
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Laughter echoed throughout the hall as the Lord and his family unfurled themselves on the many pillows and furs around the lavish banquet before them. Nocawe had already started piling on her second plate. It’s okay Kari, you can do this. You’ve already met half the family, and your pretty sure none of them hate you which is good. Akari counted the facts that were in her favour, letting them bolster her confidence.
Akari in her silence mentally ticked off the names of M’Baku’s brother, all of whom were in attendance. Uuka, clad in a light blue sleeveless top with white furs on his shoulders, nearest to his mother and the chief at the head of the table. Next to him sat Akhona, dressed partly in armour like he had come straight from the battlefield. Akari couldn’t help but wish she was seated across from anyone but him, as his ambivalent gaze felt more cold than neutral.
On Akari’s side of the table she was sat next to M’Baku on her right and the youngest twins, Fundiswa and Gcobisa on her left. They both settled for talking amongst themselves, but gave her curious side-eyes whenever their conversation lulled, which was usually about fighting for food.
Akari knew that most times her quiet or aloof nature around strangers was interpreted as standoffish, or just plain snobby. But in reality, Akari was just confident in herself that she didn’t feel the need to make small talk with every person in the room. She was comfortable in her silence. Well, usually.
“M’Baku my boy, you’re fiancé has barely said a word! It must be because she’s ashamed at your manners.” The chief chided his son, who was halfway through his second helping of rice before casting a concerned ‘you okay?’ glance towards Akari.
Akari gave a sort of ‘help me’ look towards Nocawe as the chief threw back is head in laughter, while Nocawe (with a mouth half full of papaya) mouthed to her the word ‘breathe’. Akari had gone to Nocawe for advice as soon as M’Baku invited her, for which Nocawe was only more than happy to help.
The most important thing you can do, is be honest child. Even if it is not the most ‘proper’ answer. The chief values honesty, and as long as you are truthful, it will be fine.
“Well to be honest, my Lord, I am very anxious.” Akari chuckled nervously, and M’Baku put his bowl down at the boldly open answer his fiancé gave. “I am not only in the presence of our chieftain, but my future in laws, and in truth I don’t know which I am more nervous about. I care for M’Baku, and he cares for his family, therefore I hope to make a good impression.” She finished with a shy smile. The chieftain smiled and nodded at her words, and Nocawe sneakily gave her a wink and a thumbs up.
“Do we scare you?” The chieftain prompted.
“Oh Hanuman no!” Akari laughed loudly for the first time that night, earning raised eyebrows all around. “My father made sure to beat fear out of us when we were young.” Akari skulled back a cup of cordial, before her expression went dark. “We have no fear.”
The brothers all made nervous eyes at Akari’s sudden change of tone and the sliiiiight hint of bloodlust in her eyes, making them wonder what kind of training she had endured before their father burst into laughter yet again. “That is exactly what I would expect from Eshile’s offspring, nothing less!”
The brothers relaxed while the chief continued on. “I have fond memories of your father. We did not call him the ‘fang of the Jabari’ for nothing.” Nocawe nodded in agreement. “Only my wife here was bold enough to face him in training, and that was because your father would bribe her with the promise of exotic foods if she won.”
“What can I say, the food was good!” Nocawe shouted in her defence with her mouth half full of sweet potato, and Akari couldn’t help but burst into laughter, as did the table.
The night continued on with many a tall and entertaining tale, including several childhood memories that the brother’s had wished had never resurfaced. Nocawe and Daluxolo however seemed content to embarrass their children, especially M’Baku, who by the end of it had earned a worn out Akari on his shoulder who had almost been brought to tears at not only the stories, but the story-tellers themselves, who she was guessing were mostly excited by the fact they had a fresh audience.
M’Baku walked Akari through the large hallways and watched her wipe a tear from the corner of her eye. “I’m glad you had fun.”
Akari burst into a small chuckle. “Well I’m glad I came M’Baku, I hope I made a good impression.”
“Are you kidding? My father was practically beaming with pride when he saw you fall off the cushion almost scream-laughing.” M’Baku smiled, before looking to the side with hopeful eyes. “I hope that you will come again?”
“Of course Baku, I’d be honoured.” Akari flashed him a genuine smile, and M’Baku thought his heart would stop. Something warmed him inside at the sight of his fiancé’s happiness, something that made him feel pride. Grandmama Nobomi watched from her little corner as she weaved in the moonlight, waving to the happy couple as soon as they passed by. But as soon as they were gone from sight Grandmama Nobomi shifted her gaze to the shadows.
“Are you done spying?”
Nobomi watched as the figure emerged from the darkness, her eyes softening slightly when the familiar face stepped into the moonlight.
“There’s something I need to talk to you about.”

13-09-2020 / My Mom Calls Me Everyday & The Days She Doesn’t, I Do!
Tumblr media
It was a norm which I hadn’t known of as I had never been away from home. Being alone to fend for myself was a peculiar interest of mine. I guess at that age and limited perception that most of us would have, we all must have had felt that thrust of independence to some extent. It is a novel experience for most – the time when breaking away from norms seems insightful, and a lack of routine and responsibility was the ruse of being self-reliant.
Nothing turned out the way it seemed.
My mother is a jovially strict and profoundly paradoxical person. Growing up our parents are our superheroes. Their stories, their lives, their struggles form a sort of internal folklore: the various idiosyncrasies, approach and aspects is what we take pride in within our peer groups. That phase, while it lasts, is a phase of veneration towards our parents. In that stage, I did envy many of my friends who were closer and more open to their mothers or fathers than I was, or I presume I could be. For their stories were more intricate – they could share their days’ worth over the dining table, while all the excitement I had or the grief I imbibed lay obliterated by the sheen in my eyes.
When the reverence subsides a sense of detachment surfaces. There is no negative connotation to it whatsoever. She has and always will want the best for me – though I had reached a point in time, when I knew what was best for me without any empirical evidence for the same. There always existed this conflict as to who I was to be and what my parents are wanting me to be. I have fought with her over things like why I am not allowed to stay out after 7p.m, not allowed to sleep till 10 in the morning, not allowed to go somewhere and many such reasons. Though now when I write I am letting it go with a chuckle, then it was a matter that hardly got erasure with mere sobs and tears. There were protests, I have cursed them in my heart, I have hoped ill happened on them – and the very next moment I have regretted it – but at that point I was adamant enough to believe in something trivial to be ostentatious enough to make me do what I did.
I always tend to keep my writings under-5-minute read.
I would like to break away from that today though and share a story.
I was in a different town and we had to return back to our place by noon. I had promised my then girlfriend to meet her at a specified place at a specified time in the eve. Due to certain issues my father altered the plan to return at night, and that, yes that, made me vociferously angry. I stuck on the fact that I had to go by noon, as I had commitments to keep – and that’s what I did. Against their repeated advice, I got up on a bus and went off into my fairy world, just to be stopped half an hour later by a violent mob (someone in the village had died of accident). What was I to do then? Whom do I retort to? Whom do I ask for help? I did eventually manage to reach my destination but that gave me the most fearful day of my life. The rest of the arduous journey I undertook, I remember chanting the Hanuman Chalisa without pause, deriding myself and deciding to never ever go against their wishes.
The next weekend I ended up doing something they wouldn’t have wanted me to do.
And she isn’t a fool, she is the smartest person I have ever known. She knows each and every step I can take, will take, have taken and would have taken. Yet she plays along, my tens of lies and shams, without even giving a hint that she knows who I am. Whenever cornered and amazed I ask as to how did she know or guess what I would have been up to, she just smiles and says the same thing over and over again since the past two decades of my life – to paraphrase, “I kept you in my womb for 9 months and everything that comes after that goes through me first!”. There never has been a day that has gone by without me realising it.
Suddenly one day it all stopped, I was let free. I returned from a party after midnight I wasn’t chided. I could talk over phone at 2 AM in the morning and I wasn’t asked a question. I wondered what happened – the first thought being, did they give up on me? I found out they hadn’t but were wise enough to let me be who I was when the time was right. I was a loaf of mud when they took me in, moulded me, shaped me, baked me, painted me – and made me, me enough to win every bid that I could ever come across. They did it with me, they surely would have done it with you; and we will do it our wards too.
The more I look back at it, the more it fascinates how we think about certain stuff. When we lie to a friend, we are always worried what if he or she finds out. When we cheat in a relationship, we take every step to cover it well enough to stay buried. When we pretend being something which we aren’t we remember to stay in character for that person forever. So, why do we do that to our mother? Neither we would be judged, nor dumped nor ostracised, then why? Is it because we take her for granted, or she is it because she cares any less? Or, is it just that she is out of zone, in regard to the current us in the current times?
For me, the answer maybe is that I know she will forgive me always. Still, there are things I know that aren’t approvable to her – and I wouldn’t want to disappoint a mother by breaking the image of her son that she so securely treasures within. Maybe, I care for her way more than I can ever show and my subconscious just makes it easy to escape the situation resorting to a harmless lie than to face her with my conflicting truth. In any case, mothers don’t lie; we do for reasons which we can’t justify with any bravado.
She does call me every night – at times I end up talking for a second, at times I end up  talking for an hour; sometimes I chide her as to why she should talk every day and some days she is too tired to talk and still calls for a second before she sleeps. If by chance I call, there is a different something in the voice, may be that day she gleefully says to that someone she prays before sleeping, that I had called her today. I don’t know! If you get a chance ask her, I am too embarrassed to.
When I was a child, we used to have a comic rendition of the Ramayana called “Prabachana” (loosely translated as ‘sermon’ in English). Those times of cassettes and Walkman have long gone, and yet my mom still repeats her favourite dialogue, “Pua kuputra heipare, hele maa kebe kumata hueni” (“There can be bad sons, but a bad mother never exists”). Subjectively, I wouldn’t say I am bad, objectively I don’t know – but one thing I am sure of is, if I had someone who really could go against every convictions, belief, faith, bond and relation for someone quite undeserving, it would be my mom.
So, hug her, kiss her, talk with her, irritate her, bore her or just be with her - One day, someday, don’t wait, just call her.

In this Article we are going to know about the differnces and different opinions about UTTARKAND (उत्तर रामायण).
youtube
Many people are Skeptical about The UTTARKAND of Ramayana or Ramcharitmanas that the description of Events in it is not The Same as the researchers believe.
Some Scholars also believe that The Later Episodes of Valmiki Ramayana has Been Added Later.
Uttar Ramayana By Ramanand Sagar from the Name of Uttar Kand, is Completely Different From The Original Ramayana.
So Let’s Know About the Different Opinions of Uttarkand (उत्तर रामायण).
There are Three Opinions About this: 1. Uttarkand of Ramayana Derrived by Maharishi Valmiki, 2. Uttar Ramayan Written By Goswami Tulsidas and 3. The Opinion of Researchers (Vipin Kishore Sinha).
1. The opinion of Maharishi Valmiki’s Ramayana:
Tumblr media
According to Valmiki Ramayana it has a description of 1. Ram Coronation 2. Description of the story of Ravana and brothers 3. Pre-form of Mother Sita and Mata Sita abandonment. 4. Luv Kush Story 5. Ashwamedha Yagya 6. Lavanasur slaughter 7. Vritrasura Slaughter 8. Sita Ram Milan (Meeting) 9. Mata Sita enters the abyss (Rasatal)) 10. The mighty description of the sons of Bharat, Laxman and Satrughna 11. Ram-Durvasha Dialogue and 12. Ram, Laxman, Bharat and Shatrughan’s Paradise Movement Etc.
2. Goswami Tulsidas’s opinion of Ramcharitmanas:
Tumblr media
We can Find following Description of Uttar Ramayana written by Goswami Tulsidas: 1. Mangalacharan 2. Bharata-Hanuman Milan (Meeting) 3. Joy and gaiety in Ayodhya 4. Ram Coronation 5. 3. The opinion of Researchers:
Tumblr media
Vipin Kishore Sinha ji wrote a small research book, in which it is described that “Shri Ram never sacrificed Mother Sita”.
There are all the facts in it which tell that Lord Shri Ram never Sacrificed Mata Sita.
It also asks that Sita, without whom he can not live for a single moment, and for whom he fought the biggest battle of Ramayana, can he leave at the behest of a person and society?
Ram is considered a great idol and God. They can never abandon Mother Sita for a society that is living in a conservative way.
Actually, researchers believe that the Uttar Ramayana has never been written by Valmiki ji, in which there has been talk of mother Sita’s abandonment.
Note: Ramanand Sagar’s Uttar Ramayana is derived or inspired from Goswami Tulsidas Written Ramcharitmanas.
Jai Shri Ram
