After a conversation with @rebekkahreads about drinking coffee out of a goblet, I decided to give it a try! Or as close to one as I have...I think it might be an ice cream dish or something. I dunno. Anyway, I may or may not also have a Persian monkey feeding me caviar with a golden spoon off camera whilst I sip my en-goblet-ed latte this morning😉. Being silly (who could have guessed?) 😜. 2. Coffee. And wine. And biscuits. Let's just yummy consumables in general 🍟🍷☕️. 3. Dogs! I wanna snuggle them all! I have to restrain myself from saying hello to dogs in public because I feel rude greeting a dog if I haven't also greeted their person 🐶. 4. Autumn. Hands down my favorite season for more reasons than I can list here 🍁🍂. 5. The way people can come together over the Internet and bond over common passions and organize themselves into a cohesive unit. Like, some of the stuff that develops among fandom communities and is eventually accepted as canon (like the way The Knitter and Purl developed on Tumblr) is amazing! 6. In that same vein, technology, especially when it works seamlessly together (💗 Apple products for this). I know it has its issues, but on the whole my life is better for it. 7. Dancing! Dance parties in my house. All. The. Time 💃! 8. Rainstorms. So soothing (when I'm inside) 🌧. 9. Friends! I love my family, of course. That goes without saying, but friends are like family you can pick. 10. Traveling. This world is so big and amazing! A few things at the top of my list of places to go/things to see one day are the northern lights, New Zealand, Hawaii, Scotland, Ireland, Italy...this is getting long. . You may think some of these things are weird but I’ve laughed at all of them so they count: 1. I’ve never had any Ventolin before this week. Thanks to the associated shakes I’ve accidentally thrown a bunch of stuff across the room. 2. I have a lot of trouble opening doors. This isn’t related to Ventolin. It’s just me. 3. At work, I have been compared to Salt Bae, and also Gina from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. 4. I’m very close to being able to share my super-secret project with you guys. I’ve been working on it for nearly nine months now. 5. That timeline doesn’t mean I’m pregnant. What is wrong with you? Although now I’m thinking that calling pregnancy a super-secret project would be pretty excellent. 6. When I go to sleep, I surround myself with a nest of pillows. 7. One of my favourite treats is a dinosaur-shaped doughnut with pink icing. I like making it walk across the table and roar before it goes extinct/gets eaten. 8. I cleaned out my wardrobe last weekend and found out that I own more than 50 items of fandom-related clothing. 9. I really like ampersands. 10. I’m hoping to try another Harry Potter craft project soon!

The world is beautifully built and complex, the characters are flawed and relatable, the romance is a drug you CANNOT get enough of. They are three books, not too long, so it's a fast read too but one you will wish would never end. And it's LGBT, which is always good. Also, C.S.
