Brooklyn, New York rental hits the market at $35K mo.
The front door.
The entry foyer of the pre-war unit has been renovated and features modern amenities with soaring 15-foot ceilings, exposed brick, a custom-built library with a sliding ladder, climbing plants and an expansive skylight.
The residence comes fully furnished.
A bright yellow den is off the great room.
Lovely dining area- look at the layered area rugs.
Next to the dining area is a large wet bar.
This is the first kitchen.
A sitting area on the 2nd level.
And, here’s the 2nd kitchen with a breakfast nook.
Cute treehouse bd.
At the end of the property is a handcrafted wooden “treehouse” with two floors connected by a walnut wood staircase, which houses two more bedrooms.
What pretty tile.
There are 2 more bds. on the lower level.
Beautifully tiled baths.
The home spans an entire city block and also includes a 1/2 court basketball court. Plus, a private backyard spans a massive 2,500 square feet — a rarity in the city. There’s also a private roof.

6 years ago DAN DYNAMO #1 was released, my first and only foray into superheroics. No tights, no superpowers, no battles, no testosterone. A huge flop. My publisher stopped publication after the first issue and warned me against proposing other projects. The only copies still on sale are for lucky readers who live in Brooklyn by Desert Island Comics in Williamsburg (540 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211).

Countdown! | naked capitalism
Readers have responded generously to our last appeal, to meet our final fundraiser goal of $45,000 for more original reporting and to surpass our new donor target of 1500 contributors. We’re now at 1407 donors! We have nearly nine hours left. Can you push us over the top?
>Since our last update, only a bit over hours ago, you’ve gotten us closer to our final financial target. We are now at $43,960, closing in on our goal of $45,000 for original reporting! This uptick in the closing hours is gratifying, since it confirms how much the Naked Capitalism community values this work and wants this site to get even better.
Remember ever dollar now goes for original reporting! Will you be the one who hits one of these last goals by going to our Tip Jar?
We have nine hours left. Our 2024 fundraiser closes at midnight Pacific time. Can you help us keep punching above our weight? Whatever you can give, $5, $50, or $5,000 all helps get us to these final goals and give you more original reporting (along with mordant wit, great sidebar chat and sweet animals)!
Readers are chiming in. From CanCyn:
NC’s amazing content is the first reason I visit but I so appreciate the well moderated commentary and the broad knowledge of the erudite and funny commentariat.
I sometimes imagine what a world we might have if most sites did the hard work of maintaining a commentary section in the manner of NC.
Kudos and blessings to you all. May the coffers soon be over-flowing.
And Shaun D:
I have sent 500 dollars.
Please keep up the good work.
As mentioned a long time ago, even though my political views are not aligned at all in terms of your site, I greatly appreciate the honesty in reporting and the efforts you and your staff make especially with the comment section.
Yours is the only site where I have read the comments
And Candide:
THANKS for everything it takes to sustain the community NC has made possible.
Wish we could send a lot more than the $10 check that’s on its way!!!
Every dollar you give now goes to support more original reporting. And even though we’re delighted to have raised over $40,000, consider how modest that is compared to newsroom budgets, let alone that of the think tanks whose output we regularly take down.
Make a high-leverage investment in taking apart carefully crafted narratives and exposing the distortions that help support looting and policies that serve the rich at expense of the rest of us.
Be one of the last to push our fundraiser over the top. Let’s see if we can get to 1500 donors and provide even more funding for original reporting before the close of this effort, midnight PDT. Every donation helps get us towards our goals and make this site even better.
There are multiple ways to give. The first is the fundraiser page, where you can use a debit card, a credit card or a PayPal account (the charge will be in the name of Aurora Advisors).
You can also send a check (or multiple post-dated checks) in the name of Aurora Advisors Incorporated to
Aurora Advisors IncorporatedPO Box 110105Brooklyn NY 11211-0105
Please also send an e-mail to
[email protected] with the headline “Check is in the mail” (and just the $ en route in the message) to have your contribution included in the total number of donations.
Again, I’m deeply gratified by this response from readers. Lambert, Nick, Conor, KLG and I want to give a big thanks to all of you who have donated already. If you can give a little, $5, $10, $50 or $5,000, it all has an impact. You are investing in creating a different debate, a different vision, and a different, more just society.
