Victorian Era Costumes That I Find Similar to Anime Character Designs
I'd like to dispel the notion that a Victorian would pass away at the sight of an anime girl. Sure, rich ladies didn't like to show ankle, but there are more people out there. These are a variety of costumes from burlesques (then known mainly for being comedic), ballets, and theatre. A few are not by performers, and were for taken for personal reasons. These are all from the 1860s-1910, so Victorian and Edwardian (if you will).

For example, if the QWERTY keyboard of the United States had not been adopted elsewhere in the world as well – say, if Japan or Europe had adopted the much more efficient Dvorak keyboard – that trivial decision in the 19th century might have had big consequences for the competitive position of 20th-century American technology.

You look like Ants
You look like Ants.
You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike? After years of driving on the highway, I realized one thing. America is not overcrowded. It is full of nothing but an empty landscape. So I pick the airplane. I chose this option now because I want to get there wherever there is. 🤯 I know right? King of the Road says he is taking a plane “say it anit so.” “Yup” 🤠 And…

Cross Country Trip In Car
Daily writing promptYou’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike? View all responses Alright I am going to start this post differently since it is an open question on travel and it has to do with whether I should use the airplane or train or bus or bike or car. Normally I don’t write any stuff on travel but for this post I will make an exception because it has to do…
