#2012 Larry moments

Hi, I’m a new larrie and I believe them to be dating now and back then too, but the only things that are throwing me off are when they (mostly Harry lol) “confirm” stuff like that.
Like when Harry got asked who his first crush was and he answered Louis and when someone asked if they are dating and he says yes. Now, why that’s throwing me off is because they were/are supposed to keep it a secret, so help me out. Do you think he did that as rebellion or do you think he wanted to tell the truth, so he did, but was hoping it came across as a joke?
I personally lean towards the latter, but I’d like to hear someone else’s opinion to help me form my thoughts better. x
Hi, love. Those two moments happened so early on. When H was asked who his first crush was, he very much looked like he thought for a moment, then smiled when he said it, and was very serious when she asked how Louis felt about him. I don’t think he meant it as a joke and I don’t think he was rebelling. That moment and the Mario Kart moment were both interviewed SugarScape and both are still all over the internet, so there seems to have been some moments where the insinuation (or confirmation) of the two of them being together between 2011 and 2012 were allowed/tolerated/encouraged.
The video when he confirms that they’re dating was interesting because he looks almost exhausted and somewhat hesitant to answer the question, but still does. And when the girl says, “I told you/I thought so!” he just outright beams, as if he was expecting her to freak out or be upset, but then is so happy when she’s supportive.
There was definitely something odd going on around the time because it’s around the same time of that Much Music interview where the woman asks about Larry (starts at 16:00) and tells them about how girls like reading fic about two guys they fancy being together and you can tell how hard it is for Harry and Louis to wrap their heads around the idea. To me, it very much seems like they’d been explicitly told that, as Louis says, if someone is a Harry fan, for example, they’re not going to like the idea of Louis and Harry together. And then the journalist is like, oh that’s not true at all! You can see their little heads explode.
My basic feeling is that it’s possible the label has an inkling that Louis was gay from day one and was okay with it. But they hadn’t expected Harry to not be straight, as well. And they hadn’t expected the two to fall for each other. But there seemed to be some leniency in the early days. The closet came down hard when there was a serious push to break into the US charts—H*ylor started, Louis was “loved up” with Eleanor, and Harry and Louis barely interacted. As fans dug their heels in, the closet got worse and the narrative shifted to the homophobic “fans ruined their friendship” nonsense. That then evolved into Harry vs OT3 (ie: Harry is too good for the band) and so on.

Hello yes it is that time of year again, I am listening to the 1970 OG recording of JCS on vinyl and have decided to finally make a list my rankings for every role and aspect of this show. For the record I am a pagan whose only real knowledge of the Jesus story is from this show so forgive my unhinged takes.
Characters:
Jesus:
Ian Gillan (OG album/broadway)
Ted Neeley (1973)
Ola Sålo (Swedish 2014)
Jack Hopewell (North American Tour 2022)
Morgan James (all female cast 2022)
Judas:
Carl Anderson (1973)
Brandon Victor Dixon (2018)
Murray Head (OG album)
Shoshana Bean (all female cast 2022)
Peter Johannson (Swedish 2014)
Honourable mention to Colm Wilkinson (it is a CRIME that there isn't a full recording of the Irish cast)
Mary Magdalene:
Yvonne Elliman (OG album/broadway/1973)
That's it, no one else even comes close
(Maybe an honourable mention for Gunilla Backman)
Pontius Pilate:
Barry Dennen (OG album/1973)
Filippo Strocchi (Vienna 2018)
Orfeh (all female cast 2022)
Caiaphas:
Bob Bingham (OG broadway/1973)
Norm Lewis (NBC 2018) I will ALWAYS stan Norm

John Gustafson (OG album)
Tony Vincent (2000)

Alice Cooper (NBC 2018)
Mike D'Abo (OG album)
Chris Moyles (Arena Tour 2012)
Overall - staging/set design/costumes:
1973 Movie
NBC 2018
North American Tour 2022
Arena Tour 2012
Honourable mention to the OG broadway production -- I haven't seen enough footage to accurately rank it but I LOVE Jesus's cape in Superstar.
Best overall rendition of Superstar (incl. staging, costumes, etc)
1973 Movie
NBC 2018
Arena Tour 2012
Swedish 2014
Best facial expressions:
Carl Anderson during Simon Zealotes
Carl Anderson right before he engages in respectability politics to slut shame Mary
Tim Minchin when the priests take his joint lmao
Best Superstar costume:
Carl Anderson's white maxi fringe jumpsuit (come ON)
Peter Johannson's shirtless #lewk (I have a whole thing about how Judas should not look like a demon but the sparkly red pants and the Legolas hair are too fantastic)
Brandon Victor Dixon in the full silver fit
Best WTF moments:
That bit in the 1973 film where they all form The Last Supper for a quick second and no one comments on it
When the 1973 crowd says "won't you die for me?" in Hosanna and it just FREEZES on Jesus's face
The Swedish cast pushing Jesus into Jerusalem in a shopping cart
The fighter pilots swooping at Judas after Blood Money in 1973. What WAS that. How did they get that.
That is all lol. Every time we watch even a clip of a new production my mother and I spend 2-3 hours discussing how it fits into our rankings, so this could change.

Stuff that happens in the Casey Jones Family HouseHold
Tumblr media
1987 = Case
Mirage = Jones
1990 = CC
2003 = Casey
2007 = Jay
IDW = JC
2012 = CJ
Bayverse = JJ
2018 = Cass
2022 = Junior/Casey Junior
They smoke weed at least once a week
Sometimes it’ll be 7 in the morning and they’ll be absolutely baked
Usually Casey considers leaving them on the street when he sees them get into a stoned argument
The main 6 (Case, Casey, Jay, CJ, Cass and Junior) are banned from Ohio don’t ask how
CC and Jay argue a lot, JJ and JC are sick of em
They accidentally/purposely body slam eachother more than you would expect
Sometimes Jay sings while CJ plays guitar, he sounds like Fran Vasilic
The only time CC and Jay get along is when the they are either a) jumping someone or b) talking shit about someone, after that they hate eachother
87 and 2k3 April pop in from time to time, they are like moms/aunts
They both love Junior
There’s moments where Junior and JJ get babied because they’re the youngest in their side of the family
Casey tries to be the best dad he can
Case is the uncle that thinks giving his kids, nieces and nephews beer is a good idea
Casey is bullied relentlessly because he was exposed that he simped for Larry the Lobster
Mostly by Cass
JC and JJ are usually the ones to run errands for groceries and stuff
They’re a family but at the same time they act like a frat house
CC and Jay fight over seats 24/7 and will write their name on the seat to claim it, there is no seat in the house (or the car) that doesn’t have one of their names on it
Anytime Cass, Junior and Casey are gone for not even 5 minutes all hell breaks loose (usually involving Case, CJ and Jay)

Hello I’m a Larry but I feel like they broke up a couple of years ago. I’ll also say I’m more of a Harrie and his music makes me believe he’s been in other relationships. But I’m also willing to be convinced otherwise!! The hopeless romantic in me wants to believe in the strength of their love so I guess my question is what evidence have you gathered that makes you believe they’re still together even now? I know this might be a lot to ask. Thanks in advance !!!
I’m this close to grabbing a digital pen and correct Larry to Larrie. (Did you know it’s one of the signs of having trolls in the dungeon)
Anyway. I do want to answer.
Life. Dear anon. It’s life that taught me everything. Do tell me when you time their break up - because I’ve been here since more than “a couple of years ago” - i know it’s super easy to throw this sentence - but you’re telling this to someone who has been here lol - and I wasn’t in my diapers on the playground when these 2 fell in love. So when do you time their break up? Because you know they’ve lived half their lives in the spotlight, in this industry and time and time again -let’s just say day-by-day week-by-week only proved the immense respect, and love they feel for each other. We’ve had these naysayers like you in the years, so this is nothing new but you know what? None of you are ever able to point out a period which proves that these 2 have broken up.
This is not a movie or high school. They have fought tooth and nail for their love, for their freedom, they “hid” it when they had to, but even then- jeez it gives me chills to remember all those moments- even then an eye movement, a caring look, a hidden touch, the other’s reaction- it just gave it away. And not to mention how fucking obvious they were when they didn’t hide it and just let it all out.
Life. Because I happen to be in a loving and supportive relationship since 2007. Because love isn’t a break up - getting together- break up- getting together spiral. Love is about trust, and respect, and growing together, being better together, finding your best friend in the other, it’s about fighting for what you two have together. That’s what they did when they were babies - fighting w modest, sony, whatever you want to add here. They don’t need to fight though because as soon as the cameras stop rolling they’re an out-couple to the surprise of no-one in this industry.
Life because we have 5 people in the same band and always these 2 seem to be so goddamn unlucky to share clothes ON A CONSTANT (to be PC), who finish each other’s sentences, who when even making eye contact making the other 3 look aside to their handlers with a pale face, always these 2 who in the band disappeared at the same time, who even AFTER 1D were still disappearing from the globe at the same time and reappearing at the same time, who had to have 235 stunts running at the same time to make them straight otherwise if you strip these stunts down all you have is two singers w constant denial of their sexuality. (Remember what Sir Elton John said..), it’s only these 2 whose teams work still to this day to make you and others believe H and L aren’t even in the same continent because god save them from cutting all their record incomes.
Life. Because WHY. You cannot explain why this happened in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 (you’re damn right I’ll type all the years out), 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and keeps happening in 2022 spring- summer.
Life. Because you learn what is THE LOOK. What it means that “when you know you know”. Because you learn that 16 year olds don’t just utter things out like always and moving in together and home. Because it IS possible to be and still be with your first love.
Life. Because relationships do not have an expiration date, because it can happen, because it does happen. Because those looks and touches were the very thing that drew me here in the first place and you cannot fake this shit.
Life. Because you can be w your SO together for years and they’d still say they’re not willing to have ONE innocent couple tattoo.
Life. Because celebrities lie. Money talks. Paps are paid. This industry is homophobic. Media shows what is paid for. What you see - they want you to see that.
Life. Because you learn to look at what you’re not shown, what you’re not told.
Life. Because in the 242 million pregnancies people have a year, they DO show at 8 months. 🙃
And finally: Because they’ve come so far from Princess Park and that lyric fits no one and he’s a habit that he CAN’T BREAK and he’s happy to shout this out every night to his fans anon.
Life. Because the strength of these words, all their goddamn lyrics goes deep in your heart and you know it’s not just some cheap 1000 words Y/N on goddamn wattpad.
Have a nice Saturday anon! 💚💙

Hi Sea, I used to also be a Larrie because that is the fandom lore but then when you don’t go by the lore and start following things along with the fandom you start realising it’s such a load of crap. When you look back in retrospect you realise all those years you were just digesting one sided information. In 2011, when Larries believe that Louis and Harry were not as closeted, Harry still spent his Christmas and New Year’s Eve with Nick Grimshaw.
Even the most important party that Louis and Harry had, Louis hung out with his friends from Doncaster and Harry had his celebrity pals from London. He spent Valentines 2012 with Nick, he spent all of his big birthdays with Nick, all his momentous occasions etc.
Larries talk about Louis and Harry going to the Leeds festival, but actually they went together with each of their friends, Stan was there so were Harry’s friends. Harry has been to a lot more festivals since then with Nick and his friends.
He only reduced spending his off time with Nick when he started hanging out with his American friends instead, it was first Jeff and then later Xander, and all the LA people. If he was being closeted so harshly and his management was in total control why was he being encouraged to hang out so much with an openly gay man? Maybe it was his choice because he wanted to hangout with the who’s who of the British socialites with Nick instead of remaining in the shadows with Louis and Zayn playing video games.
When I look back at the Larrie videos, yes Louis and Harry were quite friendly initially but so were all of them at different points. Which is why there were so many ships in the fandom. They were also playing into the fan fiction created for them, it seemed good fan service and banter. None of it seems very serious if u take off the Larrie lense.
What is apparent is if you disregard Larrie hearsay and theories, they didn’t spend much time together outside of the stage they shared.
Remember Harry being at Louis’ mother’s wedding was a huge thing. It gave a boost to the fandom and lots of interest and PR. Why was Harry dressed the way he was and so many pictures leaked with him as the focus when their management was doing so much to closet them? He could have shown support for Louis and his family by being lowkey if it wasn’t meant for public consumption. Then the whole rainbow bears saga. None it was hidden, it was all an open secret yet it wasn’t put to an end but apparently the management wouldn’t even let them look at each others direction unless they were promoting MITAM.
Since then Harry and Louis haven’t been on the same continent. Yet, Larries are the target for every marketing cycle as they are good at creating and distributing content.
They keep calling other people names but it’s equally likely that they are being played.
I think the worst thing is that Larries play each other.
The older Larries play the younger fans.
It’s not just the age difference, but they knowingly mislead some vulnerable, newer fans in order to preserve their status in the fandom, and in order to protect Harry’s power, and only Harry.
Why side with only one person in your ship, the one holding all the cards, the one with all the industry support?
Why would you be a fan of someone who works with and hires people who openly insult your partner, and then start new businesses with them?
Why would you be a fan of someone who uses the opportunity of Fizzy’s death to promote himself?
Why would you be a fan of someone who insults the memory of Louis’ mother?

I always find it both irritating and kind of amazing that louis' image seems to work for some people. The idea that this flamboyant theater kid has fooled so many people makes me giggle because this rough, laddy boy image has been his greatest part ever. This is a boy who openly describes himself as soft and flamboyant in 2012, and while he doesn't do it openly anymore all we have to do is see him drunk and the flamboyance comes back, in his reactions, his gesturing and dancing. The softness we see as well, all the time. From how he interacts with his family and any young fans, even conchobar. To his love of flowers and making floral arrangements which we have seen in interviews in like 2017 for loose women and when fans give him daffodils, which we know are his favorite.
While I know images are meant to work effectively make people see louis as a laddy boy but he's been cracking it since it's installment. He was cracking the facade during 1D and continously does so.
I also remember his love for interior design too where Harry in the same house as louis 2017 or 2018 loose women interview basically stated that he didn't design the interior but it was his house, my inferences being it was louis. I also remember older Larry moments and receipts talking about louis and Harry going to private museum/gallery showings and buying boxes at theater showings but those are from wayback.
Louis image has been pretty good in hiding him but it was cracked long ago and keeps being cracked. We don't really know what he's up to on breaks, he's gone with the wind and we only see him in pubs when we are supposed to see him.
I love you, anon! Hard same! I don't understand how they're fooled either, but maybe they don't know the more carefree, less restricted and to me at least more real Louis we got to see in the earlier 1d years? This dude used to make the other 1d boys wait while he got pedicures. He follows a handfull of interior design igs. He used to buy Harry art for his birthdays or Christmas. He's into vintage, we knew that before, but now we only get to see it through his clothing. He's so much more than his image and yes it's irritating when you see fans or others buying into it, or even worse when you see people liking his current image. Couldn’t be me.

Did you believe in Ziam right away when you entered the fandom? Did it take any convincning for you to believe that ziam was real? (this could very well be an excuse to see your fav baby ziam moments, but shh ya know..curiosity..lol)
Hello nonnie! So I joined the fandom during the UAN tour early 2012, and Larry was everywhere so I was looking into them but then seeing all the interviews, video diaries, moments on stage, tweets and stuff, I was like "wait- what about Zayn and Liam 👀". Their behaviour didn't look platonic to me but more like two teenagers with a crush y'know. Zayn was more obvious/loud about it so for a while I thought maybe ppl were right and it really was unrequited (esp bc of Zayn's tweet about falling for someone who will never fall for us) but it didn't feel right to me lol, Liam's behaviour really made me believe he had feelings as well. So it didn't take much convincing no aha! So like, I was a Ziam before they even got together I think? Haha. I was rooting for them!
Now here are my fave baby Ziam moments and moments that made me go 👀 :

"Whenever I think of Larry Johnson, I am always struck by the amount of time he dedicated to helping others have a good time. He was always doing things for other people. In his work for me, he made sure that everything was ready for me to contribute when I arrived on the scene. Materials were lined up. People were ready. Larry was always looking out for everyone - except for Larry."
"He had more women in more places than anyone I know. They all loved him dearly and they all understood that there were others. This was not totally comfortable for him, but he would juggle and balance it like a magician... When we first met, Larry was with Jeanne Field. "Miss field," as Larry use to call her, was a jewel of a person and still is today. We were all working on Journey Through the Past and having a big old time. Miss Field was doing production. Larry had us down in Ashville, North Carolina, interviewing an old black couple, Sandie and Levie, who were a part of his early life. They were recalling the slave days, and Larry was hanging on every word. The footage was beautiful. We have not used it yet. I'm sure it will hold some great meaning for me now. It was like that. Larry did things and much later you would discover why. He often joked about being a redneck cracker. He carried a white kerchief and dabbed the sweat on his forehead, playing part of a gracious southern gentleman, tipping his hat to lady passers-by. I am sure he is doing the same in heaven, or something a lot like heaven."
"Larry's great talent in filmmaking was partly his ability to get emotions from the scene in the editing room. His touch would bring out the soul and magic. He did an edit on the bonfire scene at Puyre in Human Highway that he cut to my song 'Goin Back'. It was magical to me. I think it is the turning point in Human Highway, where you forget about everything else and become in the moment with the counterculture, the hippies, the artists, the Indians. Everything in the film revolves around that scene to me. That was Larry. He went into the editing room one day and came out with that. Sheer brilliance. On top of that, he was so positive and energized, keeping everyone on their toes and having fun. His energy was contagious."
"Traveling long distances in big cars is one of my favourite pastimes. There is really nothing that compares to the road. All of my days working with Lincvolt have been focused on the day when I would just get in the car and take off. Larry and I use to talk about that all the time. Of course I am sad that's not going to happen now, but I will do it with Ben Johnson. We will both do it for ourselves, but also because we wanted it so much for Larry. He will be with us every mile."
"I wish Larry Johnson was still around so we could continue our life's work together. I guess that's why they call it 'life's work'."
Neil Young on Larry Johnson, from his book 'Waging Heavy Peace (2012)

new twitter fans would have not survive that video of Harry, Louis and Eleanor in a bacony where Louis is with Harry and goes to give a peck to Eleanor while Harry watched lol that was peak drama in 2012 and I think the moment when the fandom really split in antis vs larries.
omg the one where it looks like E tells Louis to go over and stand with Harry because that was a WILD time hahahahah and they absolutely wouldn’t have survived it. it was definitely a breaking point 100%

Just watched the Ace Attorney 2012 movie and there was. So much
I LIKED THE MOVIE I think it did really well with what it was trying to do with DL-6 and Turnabout Goodbyes. I found some of the changes to that case Strange but I still think they told the story really well, and all the foreshadowing for the case throughout the movie and the way they tied everything together from the beginning (even STARTING the movie with Misty channeling Gregory)…. MVK’s breakdown… yeah that movie fucks.
However I absolutely WILL stay stuck on the changes to Redd White. They didn’t. Need to do that 😭😭😭
ALSO! bro at the very end there’s a Jammin’ Ninja mention AND a Matt Engarde cameo. So extra points for that specifically. Though I have no idea what Matt is on trial for 😭 it’s just kinda funny to me bc it doesn’t look like it’s supposed to be Farewell this is a separate thing. More points for giving Larry more insane character moments but also deducting points for the fact that Maya did not do shit in that movie, and also for the fact that April May was cut out entirely (women losses). Are we understanding my system here

maybe now is the time to say smth like this idk
i’ve been off/on in the 1d/larrie fandom since 2012. since dec of last year I’ve been more invested bc last year was filled with grief, heartbreak, betrayal, depression, and lots of dark shit, and I needed to find a space of positivity and creativity that was the least toxic as possible. and even at the beginning of this year, I didn’t put myself out there much or talk to people bc I was in a major depressive episode and was struggling a lot.
but you know what helped? (apart from therapy lol) HAVING FOUND A COMMUNITY OF LOVELY, TALENTED FUCKING PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT THE SAME THINGS AS ME. WHO LAUGH AT THE SAME ONE DIRECTION FUNNY MOMENTS COMPILATIONS. WHO UNDERSTAND THE WILD FUCKING RIDE THAT ONE DIRECTION WAS AND CONTINUES TO BE W THE BOYS SOLO CAREERS. WHO POUR THEIR HEARTS INTO FICS. WHO PUT THEIR CREATIVE ENERGY INTO FANART. WHO LOVE AND LOVE AND LOVE AND LOVE
people who support each other and love each other and the content/creators we’re supporting bc we share the same experience of the impact those things have had on our lives.
and you know what? I’m going through smth even harder than anything I dealt w last year. and you know what’s helping me get through all of it? YOU GUYS. sure, you can call it an escape, sometimes it is, but more than anything it is a space where I feel seen and supported and loved in ways that my brain still grapples with bc you are all so sweet and genuine and kind and caring and talented and it honestly baffles me sometimes. i love you. genuinely. all of you. THANK YOU for existing and creating and sharing and supporting. you make this world better by being in it and I seriously do not even want to think about what kind of mental state Id be in if it WASNT FOR YALL ❤️❤️❤️

Nunya it’s zoomer Huey, so as you know that Elmo was choked by Larry David on live tv.
Now I hearing that Elmo is a black 3 and half year old child
Now I know Sesame Street was created mostly as a way for inner cities kids can get knowledge as the places their in several lack the resources to let them to learn
Jeez almost like most cities planners never thought about kids and such
But anyways can you look up the idea that Elmo is meant to represent a black boy? Of course Elmo represents all kids now. But I find it interesting as that group of kids are often forgotten.
Perhaps I’m sound weird as I just got off my shift as I wrote this
You're fine I saw that whole thing.
I don't believe that Elmo was put in as a substitute for a black kid, just on the basis that it's Sesame Street and they don't do things like that, or they didn't.
No dancing around things there, the first lesson on death I had was Big Bird bringing a picture he'd drawn of Mr Hooper to him to show him, but Mr Hooper had died.
And Sesame Street handled that in a honest and age appropriate way that made death real but not scary, so if they'd wanted to introduce a black kid Muppet they'd make em a black kid.
All that and I remember Elmo from when I was a kid, before he became "ELMO" and there was nothing like that there either to my memory.
And we had human performers of all kinds even then, back when everyone was supposed to be wanting to treat everyone equally regardless of external factors, which apparently is racist now.
I could be wrong though, so I'll look and regardless of what I see I'm leaving that top bit.
Go easy first.
Elmo Monster is a red Muppet character on the children's television show Sesame Street.[3] A furry red monster who speaks in a high-pitched falsetto voice and frequently refers to himself in the third person, he hosts the last full five-minute segment (fifteen minutes prior to 2017) on Sesame Street, "Elmo's World", which is aimed at toddlers. He was most often puppeteered by Kevin Clash, but since his resignation in late 2012, he has been puppeteered by Ryan Dillon.
However, in 1985, Hunt was so frustrated with the puppet, he squeezed it and threw it at Kevin Clash, who then performed Elmo. Clash said that Elmo should be a character who is kind and loving. Sans says of Clash, "one day in 1985, Kevin Clash, a talented puppeteer, raised him up and brought energy and life into Elmo and from that day forward we would all write for Elmo." Modern Elmo debuted with the Season 17 premiere of Sesame Street, episode 2096 (first aired November 18, 1985, following the release of the Sesame Street film Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird). In the episode, Big Bird is tired of the adults refusing to believe him about Snuffy, so he decides to arrange for them to come to his nest and meet Snuffy, and Elmo offers to help. Snuffy returns, then tells Elmo he had better go home and brush his fur to prepare for the grown-ups' arrival, but Elmo holds on to his snuffle so he cannot go; as such, the adults meet Snuffy for the first time ever. Clash cites a moment later in season 17 (from Episode 2215 in which Elmo packs for an imaginary vacation) as the moment when he "found his voice" as Elmo, and by 1987, he became added to various episodes and product lines. __________________
There's lots more but nothing to indicate he was supposed to be any kind of stand in for a black child, people may be projecting because the guy playing him was a black dude, but didn't start that way so not looking good for that theory.
Before moving on, we'll get to that elephant in the room about the guy that does the voice.
Tumblr media
Since this is the dude doing it now, and there would be hell to pay somewhere if he was actually supposed to be black. _______________
Not gonna vouch for facts DOT net, but with a URL like that I think it's likely they're going to know what they're talking about even if it is obviously a clickbait site.
Tumblr media
OOP maybe this is something
Tumblr media
That's Roosevelt Franklin, not Elmo. So there's another nope.
But as I've said if Sesame Street wanted a black character they wouldn't have used a red monster.
youtube
They'd have made a black human(ish) Muppet. _____________
Sesame Street was created so there could be a quality educational program for kids of all walks of life, it was set where it was set for reasons I don't know but could look up if I felt like it, but likely convenience since that's a easy enough place to see everything that's there with all the shops and stands and what not, gotta be in a urban area for that to work.
Again I could be wrong, but either way.
Elmo isn't black and wasn't meant to be seen as a stand in for a black kid to the best of my knowledge, which now includes the stuff here as well as about 8 other sites I skimmed through.
I think people might be trying to make something bigger than a joke out of a Jewish man having a laugh by attacking a Muppet, wonder if there's anything going on in the world that might be generating that kind of need to misdirect people and make something like that out to be something it's not. ______________________
And finally, I gotta say thank you Elmo.
When you sent that tweet out there you weren't expecting to get the level of truth and honesty you got, but you and the rest of the gang really stepped it up and brought the conversation front in center.
In the most absurd way I can think of.
And even us old's are gonna get some good out of it by revisiting our friends at Sesame Street I think.

Hi! You mentioned that you were a Larry but don't believe that they are together now but still think they were at some point.
I would like to ask you, when you realized that you didn't believe they were still together, did you review their interactions and thought that maybe they were not together longer than you noticed before? For example, if in 2015 you stoped believing they were together, when you looked back you realized that maybe they were not together since 2012 or something like this, yk?
I'm asking you this because I think it's easier to notice things in retrospect other than when they are happening because sometimes, we need more time to process things and get some perspective and I wonder if we would be able to notice if tkk broke up but still friends.
Hi anon!
Mmm, it's really difficult to compare Louis and Harry with Tae and Jk. Except for them being two members in huge boyband who are suspected to be in a relationship, there's not much that I would say is the same. They are fastly different in characters, their cultures differ a lot, and the way they took to closeting is imo also very different.
I have no clear view of when I think Louis and Harry separated. I think I started having doubts like a year and a half ago. Slowly it just kinda sunk in that it was mostly fandom speculations and not actually something coming from H and L (a lot of speculation about them signaling to fandom basically, which wasn't something I really took to back then as wel). What's difficult about the L and H situation is that they have only been seen together publicly once after 1D split. So it quickly becomes a matter of fandom having to reach and put together snippets of things they think they have understood. At times there still were very strong clues though, like shared clothing. But that all kinda vanished, and imo Louis really started pushing for Larries to go away. Pairing that with a real lack of moments in which I felt it possible that they were spending any time together. I came to the conclusion that I no longer think they were together. When you actually see people interact, you can tell by the way they respond to each other how their bond is. And I absolutely believe Louis and Harry were once in love. There's many that still do.
I think it will absolutely be noticable if Tae and Jk break up. I think (no matter how friendly a breakup is... having just been through one myself in the last year) the way you interact with your ex will change. So I don't believe they have broken up recently (and no, also not when they were supposedly drifting apart). If by any chance they breakup while enlisted I think we will catch up on it pretty soon when they return as BTS.
