a few days ago i saw this post, thought about how similar it was to writing advice given by gabriel urbina, and had pretty immediate answers to all of those questions for eiffel. so i'm using this as an excuse to talk about eiffel.
• go-to drink order? (assuming café) i'm a big fan of his canon appreciation for triple white chocolate mochas with whipped cream, but i think it's 50/50 on whether that's a usual order for him or just a craving he had. it tells you enough about his preferences though. he would drink starbucks dessert coffee all the time if he could justify it, but he can't, so his most common order is actually just plain coffee that he pours an ungodly amount of creamer + sugar into. he drinks a lot of flavored coffee, but from, like. 7-eleven. (assuming restaurant) i feel in my heart that he's a dr pepper guy, but he's fine with coke.
• grooming routine? he doesn't have one. ... okay, it's like: 3 in 1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; stands under blistering hot water while half asleep and spacing out; shaves haphazardly and whatever he misses he just leaves like that. his hair takes forever to dry and he gives up partway through and ties it up instead.
• most expensive purchase/where does their disposable income go? his most expensive purchases have probably been necessities more than like, for fun, but he does have personal radio equipment and that can add up to a lot, so... if i had to guess. and his disposable income is like 75% takeout food 25% physical media.
• any scars or tattoos? a lot of minor scars from a lot of really stupid things, all over his hands in particular, but surprisingly few major ones. it's something that feeds into his guilt complex, that he walks away unscarred from things he feels he shouldn't. i think he's probably broken his nose before, though. he's got a low pain tolerance so he wouldn't subject himself to the process of being tattooed if he was of sound mind about it, but i also wouldn't be that surprised if he had an embarrassing one he only half-remembers getting. (once zach answered that question with "eiffel's got a tramp stamp that just says 'tramp stamp'" and that got exactly the mix of disgust and resignation as a reaction that you might imagine.)
• the last time they cried, and under what circumstances? depending on when this question is being asked, uh... yesterday? an hour ago? he's pretty regularly crying tears of frustration and general oh-god-why-me, but he doesn't really break down and cry very often. and despite the emotional openness he encourages in others, i don't think he's keen to cry in front of people. he broke down soon after getting back the hephaestus post-mayday, but only when he was alone in his quarters and everyone else was asleep.
• oldest, middle, youngest or only child? only child. there's no doubt in my mind.
• describe the shoes they’re wearing. on the hephaestus? mostly, he isn't. he doesn't really wear shoes on earth either, if he can help it. he'll check the mail in bare feet and get glass in his foot and he won't learn anything. he's got an almost inhuman ability to wear holes in his socks. he has three pairs of shoes total: sandals; sneakers he's had for a decade where one of the soles is falling off; and semi-practical workboots that are structurally fine but otherwise just disgusting. he sees nothing wrong with this.
• describe the place where they sleep. (on the hephaestus) maybe has a few things taped to the wall, maybe torn out of some of his magazines. canonically keeps one of his tool bags under his bed. (on earth) mattress on the floor in the corner of his room. he actually does have shelves for the stuff he values enough to not want to risk stepping on, but there's junk everywhere all of the time. he's never made his bed in his life.
• favorite/least favorite holiday? canon answer: least favorite holiday is easily christmas, at least one of his favorites is thanksgiving. i think he's also partial to a good 4th of july barbeque. he's obnoxiously american.
• what objects do they always carry around with them? (on the hephaestus) usually has one of his portable comms transmitters on him, but otherwise only whatever he needs at any given time. he used to always have a pack of cigarettes in his pocket, but minkowski confiscated so many of them he stopped taking them too far from his comms room stash. (on earth) some combination of: keys, wallet (contains, among other things: a picture of his daughter, his old blockbuster card, and a lot of unsorted receipts that are overflowing into his pocket), cheapest smart phone he could acquire (would still probably be using a flip phone if it hadn't become inconvenient), at least two pairs of ear buds that only work in one ear each, cigarettes, lighter, gum, gift shop swiss army knife he's surprisingly resourceful with, whatever other junk he has crammed in his pockets. every time he leaves the house, he forgets at least one of the things he actually needs.

Oh here's a good question I wanna ask-
I'm curious because nearly a quarter of our system is made of introjects and fictives and we wonder if others would deem that a lot or not

Hey I'm here to gove an updt on my HK playthrough :)
Got Voidheart
Fought Hollow
Beat Hollow
Fought Radiance
Haven't beat Radiance
Beat The Collector
Got Hiveblood
Got Grubberfly's elegy
Haven't beaten Grimm but got him to phase 2
Ayyy, nice!! Congrats on your progress!! And yeah, I'd recommend saving the Radiance for later. Might as well be as powered up as you possibly can be before taking her on! (But still, for the future, Abyss Shriek is THE Radiance Killer)
Since you've gotten (at least what I consider to be) the most annoying Pale Ore to get ((the Grubfather reward)), I assume you've got the Pure Nail now too?
Anyway, Troupe Master Grimm!
I'll put it under a cut, since the post is fairly long.
So. The funny thing about Grimm is that I've actually gotten so used to fighting Nightmare King Grimm and his attack patterns that when I fight regular Grimm, it. Looks pretty pathetic lmao
Still, I'll offer what tips I can!
Back when I first started fighting NKG, I used a pretty much exclusively nail-based playstyle for him. Normally I'm a very big advocate for using spells because they're Great, but for him? SOUL was used pretty much exclusively for healing during his staggers. Nowadays I do use spells during his fight, but since you're trying to win for the first time and it's for his sidequest? A nail-based build might be worth considering!
Mind you, that's Nightmare King Grimm. Because Troupe Master Grimm is a lot slower, there are probably more opportunities to sneak in some spell attacks. But, even so, your Charm Notches are limited! Especially due to Grimmchild completely wasting two of them. So, this is a very rare occurrence where I'd say Shaman Stone might not be worth equipping!
Instead, focus on Nail-based Charms! Quickslash is probably the one I'd recommend the most (and thus Steady Body would be a good choice as well, since those two pair great together). Fragile/Unbreakable Strength is, of course, amazing, but if you haven't been able to make it Unbreakable yet, then I totally understand not wanting to use it.
Grimm staggers after you've done 14 hits! And while he's staggered is the best time to heal. Assuming you have the SOUL for it, I believe you should be able to get at least two masks healed during his stagger, maybe even three. I honestly wouldn't even bother attacking him while he's staggered unless you don't need to heal (or don't have the SOUL for it), since you can only deal a maximum of 50 damage to him while he's in that state. And, sidenote, at least for NKG, I find that his first stagger and his first Pufferfish attack normally happen at around the same time! Not sure if the same is true for Troupe Master Grimm though.
Speaking of the Pufferfish, that happens a total of three times, specifically at each time he loses a quarter of his max health (i.e., 75% left, 50%, and 25%). You can use that knowledge to track how far you are in the fight!
As for evading that attack, it's... Mostly a matter of practice, I think. Stick to the far side of the battlefield, and avoid using the Monarch Wings as much as possible. You can use the Shade Cloak to dodge through the fireballs if you're really in a bad spot, but it's risky and might just make you collide with the next ball. I think avoiding damage using Descending Dark's invincibility frames should be a viable option, though? At least for Troupe Master Grimm anyway.
For Troupe Master Grimm, I think his floor spikes attack might be slow enough for you to safely get one heal in? But I'm not 100% certain. That said, if he happens to be close to you when he uses that attack, it's also the prime time to get a ton of damage in on him.
His lunge attack from the ceiling to the floor: thanks to Nightmare King Grimm, my default response to this attack is to use Descending Dark and its iframes. It's not as necessary to do that for Troupe Master Grimm, but it does still work!
His uppercut attack from the floor to the ceiling, with the falling fireballs afterward: dash through him with Shade Cloak when he dashes forward, then walk toward Grimm. You don't want to get under him, since a fireball drops there, but right next to him is a safe spot. ...At least, again, that's what I do for NKG, but I believe Troupe Master Grimm works the same way.
Fire bats: ...This is the attack I constantly take unnecessary damage on now because I'm used to NKG's version of it lmao. I no longer remember what I used to do to avoid it, but it might have been Jump, Double Jump, Shade Cloak? But I'm not certain.
If you're good at dodging the Pufferfish attack, then it might be worth getting that extra damage in at the start of the fight by hitting him while he bows to you (especially if you have Quickslash). Of course, this also comes at the cost of being a Horrible, Rude, Disrespectful opponent, but! Hey, whatever it takes to win, right? Alternatively, I think you should also have enough time to Dream Nail him while he bows (which doesn't bother him) and allow you to start the fight with a bit of extra SOUL

CM's Return Date and How he will Return
Episode of His Return:
I'm guessing 75. TCam came back in 50, the milestone of Halfway to a Hundred, and 75 is Three Quarters to a Hundred. Plus, both numbers are divisible by 25, and 25 is one of the only numbers that can evenly divide into 100.
How it Will Play Out:
skibidi toilet 75 (part 1)
The Scientist Toilet is at the Toilet Gathering Area with the G-Toilet. They are currently in the process of trying to track down the titans location so one can go finish Titan Cameraman off and the other tries to destroy Titan Speakerman. Just as their getting ready to take off, they hear shooting in the distance. Titan Speakerman flys in with the remaining upgrades Titan Cameraman had left after the ambush and shoots plasma at the Boss Toilets. However, in one foul swoop, the Scientist hooks one of Titan Speakermans main speakers. Instead of it being ripped off, the Scientist holds him in place, with the G-Toilet shooting lazers at him, the two laughing at and taunting the dying Titan Speakerman. Suddenly, the area begins to fill with black teleportation fog, and the scientist lets go out of surprise. Behind them, a large figure stands, towering over them. They know well who he is. He's grown, and he's upgraded. G-Toilet and the Scientist let out bellows of terror and try to flee. However, the G-Toilets jetpack burns out and doesn't start up. The Scientist tries to teleport away, and as the black fog forms around him, the usual haunting teleportation sounds trails away early and the fog dissappears, the Scientist left unable to teleport or move. The beginnings of the THX sound are heard as the figure charges up, and a couple frames before the end, everything goes bright red.
skibidi toilet 75 (part 2)
It opens on the Wasteland landscape being turned an eyesore of a red, and we see the figure kneel down to be level with the toilets. The Cinemamans head appears below the fog, his speakers blaring so loud that they're vibrating and his screens so bright their burning hot. The Boss Toilets heads begin to rise, knowing that the situation is hopeless. During this, only one word comes out from the Cinemamans speakers:
𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗥.
Eventually, the Boss Toilets heads are high enough. They turn around and bite the flusher. They rise their heads sharply, and they spin around in whirlwinds. They sink down immediately. The red fades away as the Cinemaman finishes the job. He signals a ;) on his screen and teleports away, ready to tackle the remaining toilets. The Titan Speakerman lays there in awe, and looks between the Boss Toilets Corpses and the POV Cameraman, who is just as shocked. Victory is nearly here.

NOVEMBER 24, 1778
CONGRESS took into consideration the report of the committee of arrangement, and thereupon came to the following resolutions:
WHEREAS the settlement of rank in the army of the United States has been attended with much difficulty and delay, inasmuch as no general principles have been adopted and uniformly pursued;
RESOLVED, therefore, That upon and dispute of rank the following rules shall be hereafter observed;
1. For determining rank in the continental line between all colonels and inferior officer of different States, between like officers of infantry and those of horse and artillery appointed under the authority of Congress, by virtue of a resolve of the 16th of September, 1776, or by virtue of any subsequent resolution prior to the 1st of January, 1777, all such officers shall be deemed to have their commissions dated on the day last mentioned, and their relative rank with respect to each other in the continental line of the army shall be determined by their rank prior to the 16th day of September, 1776.  This rule shall not be considered to affect the rank of the line within any State, or within the corps of artillery, horse, or among the sixteen additional batallions [sic], where the rank hath been settled; but shall be the rule to determine the relative rank within the particular line of artillery so far as the rank remains unsettled.
2. In the second instance preference shall be given to commissions in the new levies and flying camp.
3. In determining rank between continental officers in other respects equal, proper respect shall be had to their commissions in the militia, where they have served in the continental army for the space of one month.
4. All colonels and inferior officers appointed to vacancies since the 5th day of January, 1777, shall take rank from the right of succession to such vacancies.
5. In all cases where the rank between the officers of different States is equal, between an officer of State-troops and one of cavalry, artillery, or of the additional batallions [sic] the precedence is to be determined by long.
6. All officers who have been prisoners with the enemy being appointed by their State, and again enter into the service, shall do it agreeably to the above rule; that is to say, all of the rank of captains, and under, shall enter into the same regiment to which they formerly belonged, and if such regiment is dissolved or otherwise reduced, they shall be intitled [sic] to the first vacancy in any regiment of the State in their proper rank, after the officers belonging to such regiments have been provided for.
7. The rules of rank above laid down between officers of different States are to govern between officers of the same State, except in cases where the State may have laid down a different rule, or already settled their rank.
8. A resignation shall preclude any claim of benefit from former rank under a new appointment.
WHEREAS from the alteration of the establishment, and other causes, many valuable officers have been and may be omitted in the new arrangement as being supernumerary, who from their conduct and services are entitled to the honourable [sic] notice of Congress, and to a suitable provision until they can return to civil life with advantage;
RESOLVED, therefore, That Congress gratefully acknowledge the faithful services of such officers, and that all supernumerary officers be entitled to one year's pay of their commissions respectively, to be computed from the time such officers had leave of absence from the commander in chief on this account: And Congress do earnestly recommend to the several States to which such officers belong, to make such farther [sic] provision for them as their respective circumstances and merits entitle them to.
WHEREAS it will be for the benefit of the service that some rule for promotions be established; therefore
RESOLVED, That it be recommended to the several States to provide that in all future promotions, officers rise regimentally to the rank of captain, and thence in the line of the State to the rank of colonel, except in cases where a preference may be given on account of distinguished merit.
RESOLVED, That all officers who have been in the service, and having been prisoners with the enemy, now are, or hereafter may be exchanged, or otherwise related, shall, if appointed by authority of the State, be entitled in cases of vacancy to enter into the service of their respective State, in such rank as they would have had if they had never been captures; provided always, that every such officer do within one month after his exchange or release, signify to the authority of the State to which he belongs, his release and his desire to enter again into the military service.
RESOLVED, That every officer so released, and giving notice as aforesaid, shall until entry into actual service be allowed half pay of the commission to which by the foregoing resolve he stand entitled; provided always, that in case of his receiving any civil office of profit, such half pay shall thenceforth cease.
RESOLVED, That no brevets be for the future granted, except to officers in the line, or in case of very eminent services.

I found a set of 3 more toads on ebay and at some point before I got them, they were sold for a collective $1.50 — 25 cents for the wee one, 50 cents for the middle size, and 75 cents for the "big" one. the prices are still penciled on the bottoms.
idk when or where this happened but I'm daydreaming about it. literal quarters per toad....I would weep tears of joy.

Numeral Exercises
Tumblr media
        NUMERAL DEFINITION AND EXERCISES
In English grammar, numerals function as a part of speech to represent numbers, quantify nouns, and express numerical relationships. There are two main types of numerals in English: cardinal numerals and ordinal numerals. Cardinal Numerals: Cardinal numerals represent specific quantities or numbers. They answer the question how many? and are used to count objects or denote a precise quantity. Examples: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten Eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen Twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety One hundred, two hundred, three hundred, etc. One thousand, two thousand, three thousand, etc.   Ordinal Numerals: Ordinal numerals denote the order or rank of items in a sequence. They answer the question in what order? and are used to indicate the position of something in a series. Examples: First, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth Eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth Twentieth, thirtieth, fortieth, fiftieth, sixtieth, seventieth, eightieth, ninetieth Hundredth, thousandth, millionth, billionth, etc.   Numerals can function as determiners when they directly modify nouns, indicating the quantity or position of the noun. For example: Cardinal Numeral as Determiner: Three apples fell from the tree. Ordinal Numeral as Determiner: The first prize goes to the winner.   Numerals can also function as adjectives when they modify nouns but do not directly specify quantity or order.  For example: Cardinal Numeral as Adjective: She bought two pairs of shoes. Ordinal Numeral as Adjective: He is in his third year of university.   Additionally, numerals can function as nouns themselves, particularly when referring to numbers as concepts or entities. For example: The number eight is considered lucky in some cultures. She divided the class into groups of four.       Instructions: Please, do the exercises without seeing the Answers. Galladrabble - "Quarter Joy"
Tumblr media
Crazed, but I couldn't miss the "100" prompt. Congratulations to the @galladrabbles team for a great year of corralling our drabbles and generally being awesome 😌.
I offer "Quarter Joy" and hope you enjoy.
----------------------------------
“You let me throw you a birthday party,” Ian murmurs, tugging Mickey close.
“Made it to one of the quarters.”
“The quarters?”
Safe in Ian’s arms, Mickey explains. “When I was 6, I promised Terry I’d live to be 100 to spite him.” He laughs bitterly. “He hit harder after that. So, I quartered my promise to 75. Then 50, then again to 25 when living longer seemed imposs-.” He swallows hard, struggling.
“New promise.” Ian’s teary smile is determined. “We’re adding 25 years to each quarter gained.”
“Together?” Mickey asks softly, dabbing at Ian’s eyes.
“Together. Happy 25th, love.”

Embroidery Portraits Commission
Tumblr media
I am opening commission for my embroidery portraits.
As you can see, I specialize in anime - especially One Piece - but I am open to anything excluding private parts (female presenting nipples are fine, though) or bigotry so long as it has line art to create a usable template out of.
I am also open to embroidering original work, like fan art or original creations.
It also doesn't have to be just characters - I will do symbols and scenery as well.
Tumblr media
My prices are based on the number of printer sized paper pages it takes to make the template.
Double Page - $200 USD Single Page - $100 USD Half Page - $50 USD Quarter Page - $25 USD
I will not go over two pages sized for sake of time of completion.
I will accept payments for Single and Double Pagers as 75% upfront, 25% after you receive it.
Double Page - $150/$50 Single Page - $75/$25
Half Page and Quarter Pages must be paid in full up front.
Shipping is extra - however, I will accept it with the second payment as reimbursement for the split priced commissions.
As I live in the United States, shipping internationally can become quite pricy - being at a minimum of approximately 12USD and upward to 40USD or more. So please keep that in mind if you live outside the US.
---
Please keep in mind that each project could take upward to several months to complete depending on size and how many projects I am working on at any one time.
I expect, at current, that the Quarter Pagers will take me around two weeks maximum to complete, but the Double Pagers will likely take around two months.
I will try to get each project done as soon as I can and offer regular updates to my progress as I feel necessary and at request.
I thank you for your consideration and have a lovely day.
Addendum: (x)
