Opus Torrentia is a surreal exploration RPG with inspiration from the classics such as Earthbound and Yume Nikki. (it’s an RPGmaker game, what do you want from me?) It has strange environments, curious characters, fun abilities, puzzles, minigames and secretssss!

The demo is testing at about 45mins - an hour to finish. Please check it out and let me know what you think!!!

Ghost Guard A few months ago, I decided to learn a bit of Unity to boost my skills as an artist. I took ThatOneUnityDev's "Unity 2.5D Turn-Based RPG" course and created my own assets for the project. It was both interesting and challenging, and here’s what I ended up with! The concept was super simple: have Ghost Guardian chase and stop a naughty Teen Ghost who's disturbing the peaceful cemetery. Kinoko the kuparkuke is the protagonist for our indie, 2D metroidvania game set in outer space, currently in development by a small team of two from the UK.

We love video games and animation and we look forward to see what other people have to show!

The more I worked on these little animations over the year, the more confident I got with the idea of maybe using these for a game one day. Probably something inspired by The Lost World for the PS1, or Jurassic park Warpath in the 2nd dimension, but with the setting of my project.

But for now, I'm just doing visual assets and concept art ha.

I did speak before abt Athan but not much, so u probably don't know shit abt him (especially if ur seeing this from a repost).

But who is he in the first place? Well, Athan is one of the characters of my game Via Cruxit: Beyond Altar (currently in development, expecting a demo soon!)

He's quiet, calm and looks pretty harmless. After all he's not that strong. In fact he looks weaker than what he should be and you'd swear that he has some health issues.

Oh shit, I've barely posted about this... Anyway, on Saturday I'm releasing the Demo for a game called Wonderlanders that I'm working on with my brother onto Itch.io (and maybe some other places). Its a 2d RPG going for a similar vibe to Earthbound and Undertale (and some other, less popular games.) Featuring a non-binary protagonist named Scout (Featured Below) who gets teleported to the absurdist world of Atlas after trying and failing to feed pizza to a stray cat (Featured below that).

As they try to get home, they fight all kinds of enemies, ranging from a slug who's late for work to Kappa Prime!!! the shark captain of a crew of Pirate Ghosts!

But are they alone on this quest? NO!!! They are joined by many friends they meet along the way. Such as:

Kid, the adopted son of two goat detectives who are also the GOATS,

Carliese, the heiress to a fallen fast food empire,

And Kent the Cat, a Philosopher who's buff both physically and logically.

The demo is just the prologue, about ten minutes, until you actually get teleported into Atlas. Its mostly to get interest and feedback, and to have something to point to when we say we're working on a game. The real thing will be out in about six months.

Nature capsule

At first, i wanted to draw a plant bio-capsule but then I came across water terrariums with fish and plants in them and i was like, i wanna make that but make it ✨Sci-Fi✨ The drawing changed a lot throughout from the initial idea. I also kinda wanted to be lazy and not be so committed to it.

Hi! I'm Chao, and on top of being the only guy on the team with an active tumblr, I'm alsooo one of two main writers! Go thunk.

Aurascope means a lot to me, and I'm definitely going to use this chance to just... GUSH ABOUT IT. I can't exactly provide high quality marketing images because this is just me being unabashedly autistic about something I love, but if you're this deep in, I don't think you care.

SO! Aurascope. Like I alluded to earlier, one of the best defining parts of the game is it's movement. IT'S MOVEMENT IS SEXY AS SHIT TO PUT IT LIGHTLY. We have working time trial systems, and if you look at them, you can see just how FUCKING IN DEPTH THIS SHIT GETS!!!! It's just. FUCK!!! The lead dev put so much care into making sure the act of getting to places feels fun even if there's no platforming!

BUT THE LEVEL DESIGN IS ALSO INCREDIBLY FUCKING TIGHT??? Like. Okay. It took us so long to come up with the first stage's second mission, long enough for it to be a meme in the community discord. BUT IT FEELS SO GOOD. And the rest of the levels in the demo echo the sentiment; everything is so tightly designed that it's just AMAZINGGG AAA

Okay and to toot my own horn here: the writing. Not all of what me and my co-writer is implemented yet, but what is is INCREDIBLY FUNNY. It's not tailored to tumblr comedy or nothing it's just. Funny cuz it's funny. OH AND WE'RE GONNA BE ABLE TO PUT QUEER RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTENT INTO THE FULL GAME!!! It's gonna be fucking peak
