Hii this is a blog recording and showing of my games and pixel art! I post a lot of chekups and updates on where i am at at the development stage! I show of the art programming and writing process!I love any kind of input, tips and critique!
I drew a pixel art sprite of Gwimbly he was fr one of my fav childhood games, creamed corn became one of my fav food thanks to him!!
fr i love his games sm and i hope i got him right
random story idea
a long distance couple have dates together in a shared lucid dream with high tech devices that get scrambled and make their dreams become nightmares so they try and escape.
what idle animation looks best?
i can either do a 2 frame version that looks cute and fun. or a more smooth and detailed version with 5 or smth frames.
I drew a second tree design and made a little forrest thingy, if i can make one that is looping i'l surround my levels with it to give a sense of boundary on the end of the map, with just a wall it would feel like there is an option to explore those area's.
I was googling about shotokan karate, as that will be the fighting style that Rae a character in my game will use, and found this, 70% hard???? 30% soft.. AND FAST??? i don't remember a lesson about this in my youth karate classes.
I was looking for a gif to explain how a shotokan karate punch goes caus thats the fighting style that Rae does in my game, and then found this gif of this guy getting fucked, like damn leave him alone he's had enough
so some tutorials i found online say that in an idle animation the face should lack behind 1 frame before moving so i tried that but that just looks way worse then if i did it without the face moving, soo which version do y'all think looks best?
what should the effect be when the player dashes?? i have this cool idea in my head where its like a skateboard rail grind?? idk how it would look but the idea of theming it around a rail grind would be awesome, i head canon Jessie/Luca as a skater anyway,
wait wtf i'm head canoning as the writer wtf im canoning lmao. whatever i say is law.
