Valdís knew what she was getting into. Her parents had been arrested and she was going to get them out one way or another. Even if it meant employing her dumbass brother Tómas in order to do so.

"How do you plan on getting them out?" He asked. Red eyes look at her brother. “That’s where we come in,” she said with a devilish smirk. Tómas raised an eyebrow. “Go get your axes,” Valdís said. Upon hearing this, Tómas smirked. He went and did just that.

“It’s Sleipnir and-” the prison guard didn’t get to finish the sentence before his throat was slit by an axe. Red eyes of Valdís look at them when they were on the ground before stomping on their face in with a hoof. “Where is Boomer and Spark?” She asked the next guard. "I- I'm not sure," the guard said. Valdís huffed, then took one of her brother's axes and made a clean swipe. The guard's head rolled to the floor, soon followed by a body. Valdís looked at Tómas. “Look around for pabbi. Take out anyone that gets in your way.” A nod from Tómas.

"Ah, my darling daughter Valdís," Rikke said when Valdís busted down the door to her cell. Villain name: Boomer. “Mamma,” Valdís said and went to hug the older woman. Rikke placed a hand on Valdís’ head. “Where’s your brother?” “Went to find pabbi,” Valdís said. Rikke looked over her daughter to see there’s blood on her outfit, skin, and in her hair.

Giggle at the Ghosties

October 27 prompt: Paranormal Activity / New Neighbour / Zombie

Character(s): 2P Nyo Norway (Ingrid/Níðhǫggr), 2P Iceland (Tómas/Ljón)

Tómas was a non-believer. His sibling Ingrid, on the other hand, believed in anything ghost related. That's how he ended up going to a supposedly haunted house with Ingrid. They wanted to prove ghosts are real and more importantly, they wanted to prove it to Tómas. They were going to do so one way or another.

“Ready?” Ingrid asked, looking at Tómas. He rolled his eyes and said, “Ready as I’ll ever be.” A smile crossed Ingrid’s face. The two had all the equipment they needed. It included a camera with night vision, a recorder or two, an emf meter, and so on. The location they’re at is Akershus Castle in Norway and they’re going to spend the night here. Asthe two approached the castle, Ingrid could've sworn they heard the sound of a horse. “What?” Tómas asked. “Did… you hear a horse?” Ingrid asked. Tómas looked at them and raised an eyebrow. “Are you hearing things already?” “Maybe,” Ingrid said. “Or it could be the horse that haunts the gate.” Tómas sighed and pulled out one of the tools that they brought.

During the night, Ingrid and Tómas had split up to search different spots in the castle. Ingrid ended up near the chambers. Purple eyes of the Norwegian look around. Something flew by them. They looked in time to see the figure disappear through one of the closed doors. A smile crossed Ingrid’s face and they said, “Cool.”

Tómas, on the other hand, was in a different part of the castle. He’d used the evp (electronic voice phenomenon) recorder. He asked some question and waited for the supposed spirits to respond. Did he check to see if he got a response? No, he’s wait until he met up with Ingrid to check.

Both investigations came to a bit of a halt when both Ingrid and Tómas heard the same sound come from somewhere else in the castle.

“Longg, bring the storm!” Ingrid said. Longg was sucked into their choker and they transformed into Níðhǫggr. They pulled their sword off their back and aimed it in the direction they’d heard the footsteps. What they ended up seeing was none other than...

“Loom, time to hunt,” Tómas said. Loom was pulled into his ring and he transformed into Ljón. He hurried in the direction he could've sworn Ingrid had gone in. However, they skidded to a stop when they saw Níðhǫggr standing there with their sword drawn. Oh, great. Just what he needed. A hero. The two stared at each other for a moment before Ljón spoke up. “Didn’t take you for the ghost hunting type.” “Nor I you,” Níðhǫggr said. “Especially at Akershus.”

We're a (16+ years old or older) Hetalia roleplay only server looking for new roleplayers to play with our large roleplay group. Our community is very friendly, welcoming, and active.

Tell me about the eurovision AU

Gladly!! It’s an au that I played about with a bit last year, set in a mystery year in a random location I haven’t thought of yet. Probably Sweden bc they’re the iconic hosts. The nations are all represented by their personifications, who are human in this au. Although in some cases I’ve opted for a nyo or a 2p version.

I currently only have the Nordics, France & the UK thought of.

I know that I for sure want to see at least two of the Nordics become an iconic friendship, much like what we’re seeing of Norway and Iceland’s entries this year. I would like a close friendship between Finland & Estonia too. And I am definitely considering letting scotland and Norway have a little Eurovision romance that manages to go under the radar a bit until nearer the end of the season.

Currently, the songs are:

SWEDEN: the classic perfectly perfected Swedish pop song (sung in English) that Sweden loves to send. The fans don’t care for it too much bc it’s been done before, but he’ll still end up coming like 7th bc the juries love to suck up to Sweden.

DENMARK: Denmark, along with my Faroe Islands oc, come in with a 2000s style europop beat. Again, it’s in English. It’s fun and energetic, but they don’t manage to make it to the final and the fans are outraged.

FINLAND: remember, I have an OC for Finland and don’t follow canon. I see them as part of a band, probably other random people from Finland. Not sure who else is in the band, but I know fin themself is the lead singer. It’s a heavy metal song in English.

NORWAY: Norway has a folk-rock song, it’s sung in English and tells the story of one of his favourite Norwegian folktales. It’s easily the more vocally demanding song of the year, and I actually don’t think he’s what norway wanted to send. I think for most of melodi grand prix there was a different favourite, singing a pop song, but they had to drop out last minute, so he ended up winning.

ICELAND: or, my interpretation of 2p Iceland. He’s the only nordic singing in his native language. Which would be good, but the song is… confusing at best? No one has any clue what’s going on. It’s like he’s shouting into the mic and there’s lots and lots of pyro equipment. You can see elves on the screen behind him? He’s shirtless and running around the stage like a mad man, no one can even pay attention to the song bc the performance is just so… what the fuck? He, surprisingly, does make it the final though.

FRANCE: the most French sounding ballad ever with lots and lots of Eiffel Tower memorabilia. It’s of course sung in French. His song is kind of forgettable.

THE UK: England, Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland are a band. Wales is the lead singer- with much pushback from England. England is the bassist who also does back up singing bc he threw a hissy fit probs. Northern Ireland is on the drums. And Scotland INSISTED he was allowed to play his bagpipes, which none of the other brothers like. It’s supposed to be a classic English rock song, but they all have very different ideas of what the band is so the song sounds messy at best. It’s not a popular song to begin with and their live performances are just awful every single time. They come dead last in the final scoring a whopping 0 points.

👑 - Which nation has the most appealing design?

Do Nyotalia characters count? Because Nyo!Russia and 2p!Nyo!Russia have such lovely designs. And also Nyo!Prussia. I wish Hima had more female characters because their designs are more interesting than his male ones. If Nyos don't count then I also like Hong Kong's design. I also like the Iceland design with silver hair and violet eyes, but his color palette keeps changing.

⭐ You're allowed to pick 3 countries to be introduced to the series. Who do you pick and why?

These aren't in any order. But Greenland, though i kinda don't trust Hima not to whitewash them. I know there's one design floating around but it hasn't appeared in anything official to my knowledge. Next are Brazil and Mexico because why do we have more micronation characters than south American ones.

🗿 Do you have a single favorite headcanon?

I don't have one single favorite headcanon, but i have quite a few i really like. Off the top of my head, there's ships that are basically canon to me, trying pangle being poly, FrUK+FACE Family being a thing. Uhhh. I think Sweden and England having shared custody over Sealand like a divorced couple is fun.

Oct. 25 Prompt: haunted | tethered | stalking

Matthew knew something was going on. He may not be a pro hero or a hero student like his brother Alfred, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t tell. If anything were to happen, he could use his copy quirk for almost any kind of quirk there is. Alfred had told Matthew that he should join the same hero school as him, but Matthew had found he didn't really want to be a hero, which is why he didn't apply. Purple eyes of the Canadian look to see a figure dart around a corner. He knew he was being followed. Instead of going home, Matthew instead headed into the nearest shop he saw. It just so happened to be a bakery. A slight smile crossed his face as he headed to the counter.

"Hi, what can I get for you today?" The cashier asked. "Can I get a coffee and a croissant?" Matthew asked. "Of course." Matthew smiled before glancing over his shoulder. He saw someone rush to sit down at a table. Would anyone believe him if he were to tell them he's being followed? Probably not. Looks like he's going to have to take matters into his own hands. Literally. Whose quirk could he copy, though? And where? Can't exactly do it here because he didn't want to do any damage here. After he got his coffee and croissant, he paid and left the bakery. Sure enough, the person that had been following him also left the bakery. It wasn't until Matthew finished his food and drink that he did something about it. It's also when he spotted a certain pro hero in a blue and purple outfit walking by on patrol.

"Sorry, but I need to borrow your quirk for a bit," Matthew said as he touched the brown hair and purple eyed pro hero Human Torch, then pulled his hand away and looked at the person approaching. The Norwegian hero looked at the Canadian male right as the blond's hands caught fire. Their eyes widened at seeing this. He copied their quirk. That's when they noticed someone rushing at Matthew. Someone with hooves instead of feet, a tail, and horse ears on her head. So, she has a mutant-type quirk. Human Torch's hands also lit into flames. When she was close enough, Matthew and Human Torch threw a punch at her that she couldn't block. One from normal height, one from below as she had tried to duck. Either way she got hit. Both their flames died out and Human Torch got her by the collar of her jacket, lifting her up and holding her at a distance.

"She's been stalking me all day," Matthew said. "I recognize her," Human Torch said as the kicked. "She's the villain Sleipnir. And here I thought her brother was the dumb one." "Is she going to be dealt with?" Matthew asked, purple eyes looking at the pro hero. A nod from the brunet. "You can copy quirks," Human Torch said after a moment, looking at Matthew. "Yes," Matthew said.

October 23 prompt: Dreams & Nightmares / Costumes / "Monsters aren't real!"

Mikkel hadn't really celebrated Halloween since he was a child. Reason being that his biological family never let him or Hanne celebrate. By the time the two were adopted, Mikkel was considered too old due to him having been teenager. Now, he's an adult and has kids of his own that have pulled him into celebrating.

Taika loved dressing up for Halloween. Gave her another excuse to dress up outside of cosplay. Good thing she already has an outfit planned for the party she's going to be attending.

Kristín didn't really dress up much for Halloween anymore. She felt as if she'd grown out of it, just as Emil had. Didn't mean she couldn't celebrate in her own way. Which is how she ended up at a Halloween store. She was looking at the decorations when she felt little hands get hold of her pant leg. Looking down, she saw a little girl with glasses looking up at her. The girl's smile was infectious. Kristín found herself smiling in return. Not long after, the person who she assumed was the girl's father came over with a boy following him.

"Sorry about that," he said. "Looked away for a moment to help my son and next thing I knew she was gone." The girl made a happy sound when he picked her up, curling up to him. "No, it's fine," Kristín said. "My brother's raised kids of his own, so I get it." Both noticed when the girl motioned with her hands. An eyebrow was raised. "She wants you to help her pick a costume," her father said. "Oh, sure," Kristín said. With that, Kristín and the girl now known as Bitta looked through the little girls costumes until they found one she liked. A Dalmatian.

Taika was the first to show up to the party. The person to open the door is none other than Mikkel. In his arms is his tiny daughter, Bitta, eating a cookie and in her Dalmatian costume. A soft smile crossed his face and he let her in. Kristín showed up later on and for the first time in a while, she’s wearing a costume.

“Taika Hokkanen, dressed as the Winter Soldier.” Taika smirked and headed to the front of the room. She placed a hand on her hip and looked at the crowd.

“Kristín Kallidóttir, dressed as Luigi.” Kristín smiled a bit and joined Taika at the front. Taika placed an arm around Kristín’s shoulders and made the peace sign as people got pictures of them.

“Mikkel Winther, dressed as Leo, the lion holder before the swap.” Mikkel seemed surprised. When he signed that to Bitta, the girl smiled and hugged him. Smiling, Mikkel hugged Bitta and carried her to the front with Taika and Kristín. Bitta looked at Kristín and smiled. She got a smile in return. The trio had won the costume contest.

Lady Luck sat on the roof of a building the following morning. She was looking around and making sure that nothing was going on. Two people sat next to her, one on each side. She didn’t need to look at them to know who they were. Pooch and Baby Bee. Ever since the miraculous were swapped by accident, the trio have stuck together.
